My family has eaten at "Napoli's" for decades. Under current ownership, we probably spend well over $1000.00 per year there. Or should I say spent! After being regular weekly customers, I had to call and let them know that we found TWO, not one, but TWO hairs in the pizza. First I was handed off to a kitchen worker when I asked to speak to a manager. Then a snippy/rude wait chick asked if we were going to eat it anyway, accused us of lying/putting the hairs in it ourselves, and was extremely offensive. "We get all kinds of calls," she said. Well, perhaps Napoli's should move into the 21st century, and computerize their call-in system. Then they could have verified that we are regular, repeat customers, and decent tippers to the delivery person. Despite the inconvenience, we are taking our pizza business elsewhere, and sorry to do so. By the way, our order that week was an extra large AND a small cheese. It was the small cheese pizza that had the HAIRS in it. When I called, I expected a sincere apology for their mistake (they happen), and yes, an offer of a free pizza. Sure we were hungry but we were NOT eating a pizza with TWO hairs in it. I sure didn't expect total rudeness from staff, to have to defend my honor and my ordering history.

A family favorite! Our favorite pizza and all of the menu items are great, too! Beef sandwich with cheese and sweet peppers and chicken parmigiana servings are huge! The prices can't be beat for how much food you get, always plenty to take home for the next day. Bridget and Denise are wonderful and always kind to our kids whether we are dining in or just picking up. The owner comes out to say hello and we just enjoy the small, friendly atmosphere. We live about 25 minutes outside of town and this is the only place we ever order pizza from, we don't mind the drive a bit because we just love Napoli!

Seriously this is what is considered great pizza here in town? I would take a Jacks frozen pizza over this greasy stuff any day. Never again will I waste my money on this place. Garbage

Not only do they have the worst service I've ever experienced, they are now voluntarily closing their doors due to potential health code violations. Way to stay behind the game, Napoli's! Now if you could only trip someone on the way out of the door, the trifecta of horrific experiences would be complete. Article is in today's (8/14/14) edition of the Northwest Herald.

Cardboard with ketchup and cheese whiz would be better. Lousy service. The delivery guy was a jerk, the food took a really long time to arrive. Blechhhh. I know this place has good reviews but this was so far outside of the range of they-must've-had-a-bad-night that I had to speak my mind.

This pizza is so good! I have only taken out. The ingredients are fresh. The ladies behind the counter are always nice. It's my family's favorite!

A tip is something you earn based on your good (or in this case not so good) service, not something you give the driver before he gets here. If you can't add a tip to a credit card when the driver gets here then the person taking the order on the phone should specify when you order... which would make the whole weird confrontation that we just had much less awkward. When your delivery driver realized we didn't have cash to tip him (because we didn't know) he turned into a total snot and stormed off. You only got a second star because the pizza was ok.

I am from an area in Chicago known for their pizza and this place is by far the worst pizza I have ever had. Cheese: no flavor and it was not even all the way to the crust Crust: dry and bland Topping: what toppings. One piece per slice Sauce: there was none on our pizza My suggestion: skip this place

Great pizza. I've never had bad service, ever. They get busy, but definitely worth the wait. Lasagna Tuesday is the BEST!

Wow, not sure why this place is getting such horrible reviews. We went in on a whim. We are new to the area and wanted to give them a try. Yes, it's a bit of a hole in the wall but the pizza and pasta we ordered was yummy. Their sauce had great flavor and we thought they were fairly priced for all we got. Haven't tried delivery yet so maybe that's where they go astray? Anyway, we liked it and it's nice to support local businesses on top of the good food.

We ordered two large pizzas and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks weren't even cooked or warmed up and we had to put them in the oven. The pizza had great flavor ( only reason for 2 stars) but was super soggy, and toppings weren't all the way to the edge. You shouldn't have to ask for well done pizza every time you order, but I guess you have to. Good toppings, flavorful sauce, everything else could step it up a bit. Disappointed:(

Try bacon on your pizza if you're a bacon fan; their's is very good! If you're asking for delivery, especially on the weekends, order WAY in advance. We've had to pass sometimes because the wait would be an hour and a half. They're busy because they're probably the best in town.

Both pizza's we got this evening were grossly undercooked. We will never order from here again, hopefully no one gets sick.

Easily my favorite pizza when I am in the Woodstock area. Lack of delivery will keep me from ever giving them 5 stars but having to go pick it up is worth it because of the quality. Usually service is awesome but lastnight was different. We were told it would be hour and fifteen. Upon arrival we were told they were way backed up. They offered us some free beer while we waited which was awesome and told us it would be another 10 minutes. We waited and waited and 40 minutes later we got our food. Regardless the pizza was awesome as usual! Cant wait to have it again!

3rd time at this place, pizza is good, not great. Very close to were friends live. Gotta say I ordered a italian beef, it was AWEFUL!!! Not sure why it's acceptable to put desert dry beef on a burnt roll and throw some cold AUJUS in with it. Really, $11.50 for pepper poppers and a beef (I threw half away, truth). Bad part about take out, ya just don't know what you're going to get until ya get home. BTW, how about not letting the high school kids run the resturant. Very nice to walk in and see 3 young adults texting behind the counter... I have to say to Lia L, funny that you point out the people drinking "bum wine" and go on to point out that the pizza tastes best after a few drinks,,,thanks for the laugh

Its not just the pizza that is good, its the people who own it who are great and all that they do for the community. We love you. It make me sad that some people dont have anything else to do then to be unthruthful and then all the others who reply back when you have no clue what the true story is. " What come around goes around " . If Naplis Pizza was not here, Woodstock would not be the same. See you soon.

This pizza is pretty good. I agree with the reviewer that said that its really good rewarmed in the oven - It is actually fantastic- better than fresh from the oven! With the price of the special 2 larges for $15 its easy to just put one away for later in the week. I do think most people come here for the special but the stuffed pizza is really good, the staff is very nice and friendly and its a great local place that supports Woodstock youth sports teams. They have repaved the parking lot and put in some better seating inside - its a perfect pick-up pizza place. This place shouldn't be judged by the transient people in the motel behind it but by the quality of the food, the value, and the customer service which often includes a draft beer if you have wait a few minutes until your pizza is done-- at no charge. Whats not to like about that?

Second time in a row, pizza is good service is awful. Was told 45 mins for a carryout, i got there (on time) was told my food wasn't ready again. Last time they hadn't started the order until we arrived to pick it up, this time my pizza was done an sitting around and they hadn't started any of our sides wings etc. cashier was rude and completely unsympathetic to the situation and was offered nothing as compensation. i too own a restaurant and know what it would have cost to comp the meal or even part of it to try to make things right. I'm done here, sadly.

The crust was undercooked, and the sauce was very very bland. My husband and I had to raid our spice cabinet. I have not had any other items on the menu other than the pizza. It was a Sunday night, and there were only high school kids working so it is a possibility that that could be the reason why is was not so good. I gave it 3 stars in the event that it could have been an off night, and there is room for improvement.

I have always enjoyed their pizza. They are usually late on estimated time for pickup though. My issue with them is the location always looks filthy. I wouldn't ever eat there. But I also don't go there often because the kitchen looks really dirty too. If they'd put some money into some clean up and sprucing efforts, I think the place could be a goldmine.

Napoli's is the second best pizza in town (Pirro's Restaurant is better but closed Mondays) with a very good sauce, nice cheese mix and the sausage, pepperoni are very good. I am a pizza snob (used to manage an Edwardo's) and I think this one is a very good buy for the money. Dining in is not a pleasure though, they specialize in take out and delivery and the dining room is a joke; hot, noisy and hasn't seen a good scrubbing for a decade or so.

pizza is loaded with cheese, but crust is undercooked-used to be best in town, but way off the mark now

The have a 2 large pizzas for $13.99 special that ROCKS. I wish I lived closer. Otherwise, the building itself is kind of scary, and the inside even scarier.

I really miss living just up the street from Napoli. Their stuffed pizza is great, I think that their perfect sauce really pushes it over the top. Also, they have a side that they call "dough nuggets" or something that is awesome. Cheap, good food, pretty nice staff... The best I ever had in Woodstock.

As an Italian-American, I have been eating pizza for as long as I can remember. While nothing could beat the homemade pizza my grandmother used to make (may she rest in peace), Napoli has the best pizza in town, IMHO.

This place looks pretty shady, especially the shady hotel behind the place, but this place has probably the best pizza in Woodstock. Maybe Pirro's is better, but I don't often think of them as a take out place or a place I would take out from. Napoli's does have delivery as well, which of course is nice when you are too lazy or busy to go over there to pick up your food. You could also eat in, but I probably wouldn't as the place is really small and a little grungy. The pizza is your standard Chicago style thin crust pizza that you would get take out from, and possibly just as good as any standard take out place, and for a pretty reasonable prices too! If you are looking for a nice place to get some cheap pizza from either take out or delivery, I would heartily recommend this place to get your pizza fix while you are in town. It's way better than some kind of bland generic chain "pizza" or even worse cheap cardboard frozen pizzas you get at the local supermarket. As of this writing my Dad is coming home with a big 18" cheese pizza that I can not wait to dig into!!! Bon Appetit!
