I have been ordering carryout from this restaurant for years. The burrito I normally select is the vegetarian. It is made to order in assembly line fashion. You indicate what type of beans, rice, and other ingredients you want. I've never been disappointed with my selection. The guacamole is my favorite feature. Usually the workers pile it on liberally, as they do with the other ingredients, making for a weighty burrito. Whenever I make a stop here, it is very busy. The workers know how to keep a good pace and keep the line moving, though. Depending on when you arrive, parking may be tight. They have a small lot and one day the lot was completely full at lunch time. I decided to skip having lunch there and return for dinner but found the same problem: a completely full lot.

I really liked Chipotle... At first. But, recently I noticed that the quality of the food has drop greatly. For example, the last two times I have eaten at this location my cheese quesadilla has been either over cooked or not cooked enough. Also, the most recent times guacamole has contained chunks of avocado and the chips were stale.

It was my first visit to Chipotle and trust me it was worth.. I would like to be here again and again. Good food quality, fresh ingredients, quick service & great taste...

This location is clean, the staff was ok. They seemed really rushed but organized. I just don't get why this place is just so darn expensive. It's good every now and then but honestly I couldn't believe how much I spent for a subpar burrito.

This is probably the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. Had a bad experience yesterday. Asked for less rice and beans. Chicken was nearly out and she put a small amount with the less rice and beans. Asked the guy to add more chicken please and basically he said in a rude manner that it was a standard portion and didn't want to hear me. I even told him I'd pay extra for more but he ignored me and wrapped the burrito which turned out to be as big as a baked potato. Told the girl at the register but she ignored me and gave me no discount. I asked for her name and she said "why?" LOL. Also first girl who initially took my order was adjusting her apron with her gloves then handled the tortilla. I called management after the fact because she wasn't even amenable to calling management then and there. The manager was apologetic but definitely poor training and hygiene at this restaurant. She offered a free meal but no coupon, so going there is likely to cause further embarrassment. Avoid this place if you can.

Best chipotle in the suburbs hands down! Always fresh always delicious and always fast. Staff is friendly and there's a nice atmosphere. Busy location but you'll always get great quality.

Horrible, never coming here again!! Food was cold, went to go sit down and there was no where to sit! I went up to the counter to get my food Togo and the employee practically threw the lid at me. Wow! Was not apologetic at all at the fact there there was no where to sit, or accommodating in any way.... How rude! I had to sit in my car and eat my meal.

I have to disagree with many of the reviews. This place is very convenient and welcoming. Although I do agree that they have slowly decreased the amount of food you get over time, it really depends on who is serving you and when. Often times, when the staff is rushed because of the long line, I tend to get less than usual. However, on some days when the line isn't as long, I get so much in my burrito that I can't finish it all. I love chipotle in general, and I believe this location is massively underrated and convenient.

This chipotle consistently gives EXTREMELY Small portions. I get a vegetarian bowl so I expect more rice and beans and this location barely gives you a full scoop of either one, it is ridiculous. I always have to ask for more, and I don't even eat that much. What am I paying for? The location on Kingery highway is 500% better. Never going here again, and I would suggest you don't either

In my expansive coverage of the suburban burrito establishments, I have visited my share of Chipotles. I have also never seen one as crowded at 6PM. Perhaps this was a fluke occurrence. Nevertheless, the staff handled the never-ending line and call-in orders. The line was moving somewhat slowly but that only intensifies my lust for the silver-wrapped calorie bomb. Delicious as usual Chipotle. I expect no less. Next time I'll probably submit my order online to save some line time and devote more time to making sweet sweet love to my barbacoa burrito. I'll leave you with this gem Overheard at Chipotle: Daddy. I have to poop. Quick!

I have good days with this Chipotle, and I have very bad days with this Chipotle. More often than not, they do not put enough of anything in their bowls. I feel like the rice should cover the bottom of the bowl, not just a small scoop in the middle. The chicken has been badly burned sometimes to the point where it's just plain disgusting. On good days, it's not even THAT good. The only reason I frequent this Chipotle is because it's a convenient location but sometimes the line isn't worth the wait. I never learn my lesson and always think that by some sort of miracle, my luck will turn around and I'll get a nice bowl with generous portions where everything tastes right, but that's never the case.

This chipotle skimped on everything. When asked to have more salsa a was given more and then listen to the girl groan about it. They literally tried to skimp on every thing other than the rice. Very disappointing.

Been here a few times for lunch, and they're always fast and delicious, if you can get a parking spot!!!!

I love Chipotle and what I liked about this one in particular is that it seems to be a larger restaurant than the other locations, so the seating felt much better- much more space between tables which I really appreciate. It seemed less loud to me too. I don't understand the chairs at Chipotle, though- they seem to dig into my back and are super uncomfortable. The service here was good and the food was delicious as usual. This is a great (and popular) location.

same chipotle as everywhere, but! Guys, stop under putting meat in the burritos/tacos. Last time I got tacos, and the guy put less than a spoon of meet there. I could not feel it at all while eating. And yes, I have been eating at Chipotle across the country, but this one is the worst as far as service. Management, do something and keep the standards.

Like another poster said, this is the Chipotle that popped my Chipotle cherry as well. I remember it well...a young girl of 15 years old, her friend's mother promising vegetarian burritos to 2 new vegetarians. You never forget your first time. Chipotle is a favorite of my belly. So again, going off of what another poster did, I will review simply this location since I more often frequent the Downers Grove and Willowbrook locations. I used to dine at this Chipotle until they built one on Route 83 in Willowbrook, which shaves about 10 minutes off of my chipotle commute. However, I still eat here when meeting my Lombard family halfway for a Chipotle dinner and when I work a shift at my second job and feel the hunger hit. This Chipotle has never steered me wrong. They helped me form my blossoming Chipotle taste buds. The burritos are always large and I have never had a complaint about their quality of food. Staff is very friendly and funny, they try to make waiting in line less bleak. Going off of that, however, on the down side, the lines are pretty massive whenever I come in, no matter what day or time.

This is my least favorite Chipotle in the area. I mean its the same food thats at every other Chipotle only with less friendly service and they tend to go lighter on the goods than my usual Chipotle. It is in a convenient spot so I'll probably continue going here for my special Kyle Bizzle healthy burrito bowl when I find myself in the area and in need.

Who doesn't like Chipotle??? But this Chipotle stands out to me because of the staff. They are always very friendly and always put extra guacamole on my burrito bowl! The restaurant is also very roomie and they have outdoor seating which I like.

OK, so as a general rule I don't care much for large chains, but Chipotle is the exception. I love Chipotle. I love the burritos, the cilantro rice, the black beans, the creamy sour cream, and a big scoop of guac. YUM! OK, so sure there are better and more authentic Mexican places out there but Chipotle does not let me down. AND they are very generous about providing burritos to non-profits. Really, all you need to do is show up with your tax exempt paperwork and they will hook you up!

If I'm having Chipotle, chances are, it's at this location because it's close to work. I'm a fan of Chipotle in general, so instead of focusing on what they offer, I'll focus on this particular location. The good: It is close to work, they are usually pretty quick, and the quality of the food is consistently fresh and tastes like it should! The burrito bowl is the best! :) My last visit was even better because I had a buy-one get-one coupon, who could pass that up?! The bad: The last time I was there, I stood in a non-moving line for a good 10 minutes. Apparently they had a large catering order they were working on so they stopped taking orders from people in line, and worked to get everything made. It looked like there were at least 40 or so items they were trying to prep. Now, if it was during off-peak hours, I wouldn't complain, but this was 11:30ish. on a Thursday! You could tell that the people in line were getting a little antsy. It seems like an order this size should have been made before the store opened, but that's just my two cents.

It's fresh, new and my favorite part- they're finding new ways to be more friendly to the earth and animals. They also try to buy produce locally. Their cilantro lime rice is awesome, guacamole is freshly made and everything is so flavorful and complimentary to the other ingredients. If you haven't been here, you are missing out.

While this was the Chipotle that popped my cherry and it's generally well managed, I do have some reservations regarding this location. The chicken, my usual protein of choice, is often dry and overcooked, sometimes because of an extended period in the warmer and sometimes it was simply cooked that way to begin with. Beyond that, this Chipotle is on par with just about any other Chipotle you've been to- it has lots of seating space, quick service, and an outdoor seating area for when it's nice out. If you like Chipotle, feel free to come here. But if you can avoid the Chicken (I love me some Barbacoa when I visit) you might be making a safer bet.

How could you go wrong with Chipotle? My usual order is a steak or chicken burrito bowl. Love the black beans, love the green salsa, and always love sour cream and cheese. They have delicious guacamole (especially for a fast food establishment). And their homemade tortilla chips are so salty and amazing. Can't get enough.

I've really never been too excited about this place. However, when the financial advisor stops by my bank and announces free lunch, I have to admit, I might allow a slight smirk. So under the right conditions, Chipotle isn't terrible. What tips the scale unfavorably to you, Chipotle, is that this is second time you have screwed up our company's order. There are a total of three people working today, and only one person's order was right. I had plans to eat somewhere else today, so I thought I'd get chips and guacamole and save the tacos for tomorrow. They forgot half my order. What a surprise.

I have probably visited at least a dozen Chipotle locations over the past few years, and the Westmont locations is one of the well managed ones. Obviously, the food is the same from location to location. (burrito's, tacos, a half-assed attempt at a taco salad, etc.) And the ingrediants are pretty fresh depending on the time of day. This exception would be at the days opening when the guacamole, that was most likely made the night before has turned horrible shades of brown and resembles something from a crime scene, or at the end of the day when it's very slow and there is no need to keep making fresh ingrediants. But overall, if your looking for a Chipotle with alot of tables, and is relatively clean, the Westmont location is spot on. Now as far as that brown guacamole is concerned, maybe just a quick stir of a wooden spoon before customers come in to keep appearances up, okay?

As a fan of Chipotle, I've eaten at them all over the US. This is my favorite location. I've never run into any issues, the staff is super-friendly, and it's usually not too crowded outside of lunchtime.

I used to hate it but I had a change of heart - I like Chipotle now. I should let you know that this food is not good for you - it's loaded in calories. But I love the Burritos and Burrito Bol.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
