This is a great spot to watch any sporting event. Lots of TVs. Can view the game from any area of the bar. Food is good too. Only drawback is..... I'm trying to enjoy the Blackhawks game and the guy behind the DJ booth (not the DJ) thinks it's fun for the crowd to hear him commentate on top of the REAL commentators at the game. It's really annoying. And no one in the bar wants to hear him. We're here to watch and listen to the game and not him. Please stop Mister with the microphone with the mustache. He also told us he wants a martini. DILLIGAF? ... But all in all. It's a great sports bar. :) Also... They are extremely premature on the hawks goal buzzer. Any time they get close to the net. They sound the alarm. Awful. Just awful. Let the tv network do the work. They get paid more and there is a reason.

Service service service. Service is everything. And when it's nothing, then there's not a reason for me to come back and spend money. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if a place wants to make money then it needs to earn it. My experience tonight was less than worthy. From me waiting a half hour for a burger. Then to wait another 10 minutes for silverware is ridiculous. And to the table that left a half hour ago that is still not clear. To the lack of a hostess on a Saturday night and the craziness that I have to ask for a menu.... to say that I'm not impressed is an understatement. My server, a guy who I don't think said his name seems clearly not trained properly. Now to the food. I had the fireside ale house special burger or something like that. It's a decent sized burger I must say. But I asked for medium. It was borderline well. No juices left. But at least a decent portion. The ham on it was pointless because it gave no flavor. Could've been the choice of ham. And to the cooks, I'm sorry but you just don't put the burger ON the lettuce and tomato. The burger always goes on top of the bottom bun. Onto the bbq sauce. First bite I didn't taste it. Which was weird since there was about 3 times the amount I needed for this burger. But once I did, it was different and not something I've had before. Very thin and vinegar-ish. Which was good. But it needs to be multiplied with the sauce. It wasn't powerful enough to compliment the burger but was good on its own. All in all I think this place has potential. Which I've read on other reviews as well. So I'll come back. Not sure how soon. PS the food is missing the beer aspect. This place has "ale" in its name. Just a thought

Like the place since it is so close, but the food and service is inconsistent. Sometimes it is great and other times it is lousy. For good service ask for Becca. Does not cater to food allergies.

this place is great, the beer selection is always on point offering a great variety of crafts that consistently change. the atmosphere is remarkably comfortable adding an amazing touch with the stone glass fireplace. the staff and owner are very hospitable making the experience here even that much better. i personally have only been able to order off the late night menu that offers some good finger food for the bar crowd and it never disappoints. all in all this is a great place to catch a game with some friends or just hang out.

The good is great here, the staff how's out it's way to make sure you're comfortable, drinks are cheap, plus they melt added a dance floor. Late night spot, pottery low key.

Been here a few times. I was sitting at the bar reading an article on my phone drinking a beer when I was asked to either drink or pay my bill. I understand that it was a Saturday and the place was busy but how rude. I'll never be back. Too bad. I kinda liked the food although I have had way better. The staff will eye F*** you so they can get better tips. LOL

The Fireside Alehouse is close to my house so I had high hopes. My wife and I just got back from lunch there and, unfortunately, were quite disappointed. We each had a burger and fries. I had the bacon cheeseburger medium. My wife had a burger medium well. There was no difference in they way they were cooked. Both were fairly dry. Item number 1 that I have to call BS on is that they claim their burgers are fresh and never frozen. We took a look at my wife's burger patty since she had nothing on it. It looked and tasted exactly like frozen burgers at many different places. Biting in to it you can see that it has a lot of filler in it too. My second BS call is that their fries are 'fresh cut'. I'm pretty sure I've gotten these same fries from the freezer section at Jewel! Burger and fries were $9.99. On the positive side, they do have a good beer selection, although it seems a bit pricey. They server their draft beer in a narrow tall glass that makes it appear you are getting more than it looks like. I'm sure they aren't a full pint. They may be 12 ounces. For that it costs from $5 and up. Finally, the wait staff. They spent more time hiding in the back than they spent waiting on customers. I met my wife there for lunch since she had to work. It took 25 minutes to get the mac and cheese appetizers to the table. They seemed to be frozen and just had to be dropped into the fryer. Once my wife got there, I had to go hunt down our waitress so we could get our order in since she had to go back to work. I mean my wife had to go back to work. I'm not sure what our waitress did, but it wasn't work! All in all, it wasn't completely horrible, just bad. If we go back, we'll sit at the bar and we won't eat there.

Overall pleasant experience! When we walked in the door the hostess ha already began to walk away to seat another customer and did not come back right away but a nearby waitress stepped up immediately after noticing we walked in and helped to seat us. After we were seated a bubbly and most definitely fun loving waitress greeted us like we had known her for years while still being completely professional which was great! She went over all of her favorites to suggest some things to eat, and to my surprise they weren't all the most expensive things on the menu! Like most places would, just to get a higher tip. When the food came, it was full of flavor, definitely fresh, and overall tasty! During dinner the owner was walking around introducing himself and asking how everything was. It seemed like he was very personable and truly interested in the customer feedback. Overall I think this place is great! The only suggestions I would have are adding a bit more decor and redesigning the layout in the dining room to make it a little less "typical" or uniform even if the restaurant isn't "100% complete". We will definitely be back!

Fun friendly bartenders especially Jamie. I would say don't believe the haters this place is still in the opening process. If you live close come by. The tvs are nice and the drinks are stiff.

$6.99 build a burger Monday night special is a super value. Meat was fresh and cooked to order and topping selection was really good. Had bacon and blue cheese which were both better than expected for burger toppings. Sweet potato fries were the bomb!

My husband and I took our kids to Fireside tonight for dinner. We had been there once before for lunch last summer, and thought the food was really good. We had a coupon, and thought it would be less crowded than the typical restaurant at 5:00 on Saturday and Valentine's Day. The pros: -Very nice atmosphere. We were seated in a comfy, semi-circle booth with plenty of room for our party of 5. We were close to the cool fireplace, we could see the TV's, and the music was at a good volume. -We ordered the wings for an appetizer. They were on special, and were very tasty. -My husband said his steak sandwich was good. -The service was pretty good. We were ignored somewhat when we first walked in, as the three ladies up front were in the middle of a conversation. After standing there for a minute while they finished talking, we were seated. Our waiter was great. He was prompt and attentive and got everything right. The cons: -My meal wasn't good. I ordered the BBQ half chicken. The chicken was awful, It tasted old. It was smothered in the BBQ sauce to probably disguise it's terrible flavor. The BBQ sauce itself wasn't very good either. The coleslaw was dry and had little flavor, the baked beans were underwhelming. The only thing good on that plate were the fries and the corn muffins. -My daughter ordered the ribs. She didn't seem very enthused. When I asked her how they were, she said "Well, we're definitely not in Tennessee!". -An employee stopped by the table to ask us about a Blackhawks jersey that another employee was wearing. He asked us if we liked it, and told us he'd have the other guy stop by our table to talk to us about it. My husband said we weren't interested, but he kept badgering us, saying they were a steal at only $40. He acted all pissed off when my husband repeated sternly that we weren't interested. I found this to be completely intrusive and unacceptable. We were there to eat a meal, not to be harassed into purchasing a jersey. If this is a common thing, it REALLY needs to stop. Based on our visit tonight, I can't see us going back to Fireside. I'm crossing my fingers that I don't sick from that chicken.

Great location - great (friendly) service - great food - and most importantly, great drinks!!! Definitely, a place to check out - I will definitely be back!

Great beer selection and specials. Atmosphere is good, a little of the 40+ crowd. Food is decent. Overall it's close and drinks are great so we will continue to go back.

The service was slow, the server forgot multiple items that we ordered. The food was mediocre (at best). Also- they discriminated against myself, and my table. Never felt so uncomfortable in an establishment. I will never go back, and I'm pretty certain that everyone else I know will not either, after what I experienced the other night. Disgusting.

I have been there three times, once to watch a game and twice after playing golf. I won't be back. First, they advertise pints of beer for a special and then they bring it in a 12 ounce glass. I pointed out the difference and they just looked at me like, "What?" I don't like being ripped off and lied to, and then expected to pay for the pleasure. They shorted everyone in our party on the beverage sizes, so we switched to bottle of beer to avoid the crap. The gin and tonics were all tonic, no gin. The food is very ordinary bar frozen food dumped in a grease fryer. I wouldn't turn it down if I was really hungry, but if you think their food is great, you've never been to a real restaurant that didn't have golden arches out front. Lots of TV's to watch games is a good thing, but the noisy room was like being in a warehouse. We couldn't hear or understand each other, let alone hear the TV when we wanted to. So, they started out by trying to rip us off, and lying to us, then they followed it up with very ORDINARY bar cuisine. Go elsewhere.

This the second time at Fireside. I have had the Buffalo Chicken wrap and the Buffalo Chicken pizza, both are not overly spicy. I do like spicy food, so if your on the fence if it's too hot for you, it probably is. We have also had the turkey club, not much you can do to make a bad turkey club. On our last visit we had the Western burger. The burger was nothing great, it's just burger. I could have made it at home. If you didn't want to make a burger at home, you wouldn't be disappointed. The sweet potato fries are really good. They have a large beer menu with the standard beers and craft beers. They of have an outdoors patio area.

Have been going there for over a year now. Very good sports bar especially for Blackhawks games. Great bar staff and servers are excellent as well. Will keep going there. Dring specials all the time. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

Friday night dinner with my girlfriend and my parents. Overall good experience. Good beer selection, even had Stella cider! Huge TVs and changed the channel to watch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, until the Hawks game. Kitchen was backed up a bit and our waitress was new and still learning the ropes but was nice and willing to find out the answers to our questions. Food was good, homemade chips and fries. Would go there again.

Great atmosphere, lots of TVs, lots of action and I've always had great service as well. I see some reviews stating the service was lacking but I've never experienced this. Maybe they were working out the kinks since they are so new. I've also had the steak salad and that was good as well. I think with it's cleanliness, good service, and nice atmosphere this place deserves a solid four.

This has to be one of the greatest bars to open in recent history. So good, that I put it in the top five bars in Chicagoland. The ownership and management just "GET IT" here. The service is the best around. The effort and forethought of the management team understand what it takes to be the best and that is truly appreciated. They have a great menu with a culinary staff that executes to perfection. The wings at fireside could very well be the best out there as well as a compliment of great bar-grille creations that makes the corner pub look silly with their menu expectations. We recently had a fantasy baseball draft staged at the Fireside and they hit all aspects of the experience out of the ball park.. The food was beyond great, as was the service...but more importantly, the management staff made it very easy for us to make this a destination over and over again for all sorts of group gatherings. I live in Elmhurst so I can't show up here often but if there was a "friends" get together, I would book a hotel and a cab so I could partake in the flawless experience known as the Fireside Ale house!!!!

Very friendly waiters and hostess. The ribs fell of the bone with their custom BBQ sauce. The grilled burger was great. The chief is definitely a grill master. Definitely coming back !

Great beer selection in the area, esp. if you are looking to experiment with craft beers. Good food as well. The problem with this place is that it has arrogant amateurish DJs who play loud, terrible music even though there is no body dancing to it and do not budge to change the music. Zero, zilch .. not a soul shaking a leg. Entertainment is great, but need to know who your audience is and be nimble to make changes and listen to your customers when they request for something.

Gave this place a 2nd try since it's very local. Was hoping to watch a Big Ten game on their TV's, but they do not get the BTN. Sigh... this is BIG 10 Country! This trip I also tried their pizza, which I felt was just average. It didn't leave me going.. "Yum that was good pizza". It wasn't bad either it just didn't have the YUM Factor. My friend had the burger and it looked very good, in which he also agreed it tasted good. We sat in the bar area and at times the music and bass was very over powering. You almost had to yell across your table to even talk. That would probably be my biggest complaint. Overall it was a good experience.

To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food served tonight. Quality food and a good bar is hard to come by. The food is far from mediocre, and $5 martini specials are a steal! I am a dirty martini girl, and I can't even tell you how many times those are excluded from the specials & that is not the case here! We started with your classic onion rings and your mac & cheese with smoked bacon bites. Both were very good. Both came out hot, & quick! Their ranch seemed to be homemade as ours seemed to have the perfect amount of added garlic, umm yum! Fridays specials are $10 fish & chips which my mother in law ordered and loved! I also tried and all I can say is the crisp, crunchy batter is to die! Fries are extremely yummy. Seasoned perfectly. My boyfriend and I ordered burgers. I got the breakfast burger. It doesn't come w/ tomatoes or lettuce, but to be honest it doesn't need it! When do you have lettuce with your eggs anyways? Egg was cooked perfect, and so was my burger. Bun was super fresh also! My boyfriend ordered the western burger and really enjoy the BBQ sauce. This is my first ever review in my life and I'm almost 23. But, actually going somewhere for the first time and being this happy after leaving is a rare occurrence. I'm the pickiest eater on the planet ( ask my boyfriend ) but after one bite into the onion rings - I was a keeper! Everyone has their own opinions but I would definitely suggest to give this place a fair shot! It also has a nice outside eating area which I love! I would of ate outside but it was a bit chilly! The only reason this place got a 4 is because as soon as I walked into this restaurant the women who sat us had an immediate attitude and almost made me want to leave. But I'm so glad I stayed!

Went for the second time, both times for dinner. First time the food was ok, ribs and "pork wings". Both were somewhat dry, but taste was okay. I found the service to be somewhat slow. Then last night we went again to give it a second chance. There were three of us, one of our orders did not come out right, the burger was okay, and I did not really enjoy what I had. Again, the service seemed slow. Our server did go on a bit about a personal issue which was wierd. Did not make for good "dinner converstation" and I don't know if she was trying to build sympathy for tips. I will say Management did attempt to make right, and did not charge me for my food, so they do care about their customers. The bar area did seem full both times I went, but not being a drinker I cannot comment. The food is average and service is okay, but would not be my first place for a meal.

Great beer selection, but I question the size of the glasses that the draft beer is served in. Seems like 14 oz glass but owner stated it was 16 oz when my boyfriend, who has bartended for 20 years, asked him. Not sure why they give you a traditional looking pint glass with a bottled beer but a different shaped glass for drafts. No where on menu does it say "pint" but it is somewhat expected in American bars. Just made us suspicious and left feeling shortchanged.

My BF and I really enjoyed our experience here. Couldn't tell if the restaurant was open until we drove up to the front and saw the neon open sign. They are building a outdor patio, which I believe will draw in the locals. We were greeted probably by the hostess and sat down in a booth. We had a great server by the name of Connie who gave us her recommendations and we could not have been more pleased. We had the warm nugget pretzels topped with cheese, bacon bits and chopped scallions. Streamwood fries which are waffle fries with nacho cheese and their signature barbecue pulled pork. I couldn't get enough even though my pants were ready to bust open. Then we decided to split the Fireside Italian Beef sandwich on toasted garlic bread. OMG! The garlic bread with the beef truly made the sandwich. This is a farely new restaurant, with plenty of TV's and the bar atmosphere. We asked to meet the owner, Rob to congratulate him on the opening of his restaurant and let him be aware of the foodfasm we experienced. We will definitely be coming back. Before I forget to mention, the bathrooms were clean. Thumbs up for that!

We've been waiting for Fireside to open since September, 2013. Overall experience was good. We've been twice, once on a Friday night, late January, once for lunch on a Saturday, February. Foods ordered: pulled pork sandwich, hamburger, pizza, fish and chips, buffalo chicken tenders, pretzel nuggets. All pretty good. Beer menu is fantastic. If you like micro brews, this place is for you. Nice to have a place close by where you can get something other than Miller, Bud, and Sam Adams on tap. Just remember craft beer costs more! Service was good both times. Kind of slow for dinner, but they had only been open for a month at that time. Staff was friendly, tables, benches, and bathrooms were clean. Lots of televisions above the bar. Two projection screens in the dinning area. Good place to watch sports. Loud on Friday night, quiet Saturday afternoon. They need to get a menu on line and laminate the menus they have in the restaurant. We'll give them a chance, we like to support local business!

To me, this whole place is just "meh". It is really close to our house so my husband and I frequent here when there are sports games on and we want a quick bite to eat and a beer. I never expect anything truly stellar but not so horrible where I wont' come back.

What an awesome place to watch a hawks game!! A big thanks to the chef for coming out to explain my gluten free options. My food was great and I had a GF choice on tap as well. I will definitely be back.

My husband and decided to try this place one day with our 2 boys. Not bad. We went again for my oldest sons b-day and the service could have been better! I called them today to try & get accommodation for 20 people & Melissa said she would call me back right away, 20 minutes passed & still no call. I called back & Robert had to call her & find out if they can take 20 people & still no answer. If you could not accommodate this many people then just tell me instead of making a person wait! I don't think I will ever go back again!

I've been to this place three times now. It's still a work in progress, a little plain on the inside, but it's coming together. It's very nice and new inside. Clean. Smells good. Great menu and beer/cocktail/wine selection. Bathrooms are very nice and well kept. Instantly greeted and seated when you walk in the door. The first time I went was just for a few drinks with my boyfriend on a Monday night. We played a few games of darts and then sat at the bar for a while. Jason was bartending that night, and was awesome. He was entertaining, friendly, and just the right amount of talkative. He even offered me cash out of his own pocket (which I did not accept) because I was playing so many songs on the jukebox. He found out my boyfriend and I are both in the industry and ended up coming into the bar we work at a few days later, which was really cool. The second time I went was with my girlfriend. We sat at the bar, and again had Jason taking care of us. He recommended us some great drinks and appetizers. Mac and cheese bites were delicious! There was an older gentlemen sitting one seat away from me, who kept getting involved in our conversation. Jason saw right away we were annoyed/uncomfortable with it and handled the situation immediately, so we were able to enjoy the rest of our night, which was greatly appreciated. The third time I went was for dinner, again with my boyfriend. We walked in and right away saw Jason behind the bar, so normally we'd sit there because of our prior experience with him. Unfortunately, he was not alone this time. He had a girl named Kate bartending with him. Now, we have never been served by this girl before, but we have seen her plenty of times in the bar we work in and based on those experiences we did not want to be served by her. I in fact wanted to leave. My boyfriend convinced me to stay, and just grab a table this time. Sorry Jason! The fact that this girl is a bartender blows my mind, considering how she acts when going to other bars. She was actually in my place of work last night and was so beyond rude, I was ready to have her escorted out, had she not left on her own. She was completely drunk at 8pm, to the point she couldn't even stand up, loud, obnoxious, demanding, personally insulting me, and screaming for attention. Basically the exact opposite of someone any bartender wants to deal with. She gets that way every time she is in. She is a complete nightmare that I dread seeing walk through the door. She made it very clear to me and my customers that now that she is out of jail, she is bartending at Fireside, which is only about three miles down the road from my bar. Let's just say not a very good representation of the business. Being a bartender, I enjoy sitting at the bar when I go out, and paying it forward to my fellow bartenders. That being said, next time I choose Fireside for my night out, if I see her behind the bar, I will immediately turn right around and pick another spot. I would've done that this past time if we weren't just stopping in for a quick bite to eat. Back onto a more positive note, we did end up getting a table and our server was very pleasant, quick, and attentive. Our glasses never went empty, and we were never left looking around for her. We got the sampler platter to start, which ended up being a crazy amount of food for just two people, but also so crazy cheap that it was hard to resist. I wanted those awesome mac and cheese bites I mentioned earlier, and my boyfriend wanted mozz sticks, but buying the two separately would cost more than the entire platter. The platter came with four of each item: mac and cheese bites, mozz sticks, onion rings, potato skins, corn curds, wings, ravioli, corn dogs, and scallops. All for about $17 bucks! My boyfriend then got a personal pizza, which he enjoyed. I got the turkey club, which immediately went into a box because I was so full from the platter. It was a good left over lunch the next day, so I'm sure it would've been even better had I eaten it right away. All in all, based off my three experiences here, the only downside to this place is Kate. Otherwise would've got five stars.

Don't bother eating here. Sure, come here for a few drinks with friends, but don't bother with the food. The only food that my boyfriend and I enjoyed was the soup. He had the tortilla soup and I had the french onion. Aside from mine being entirely too hot to eat and burning my mouth, both soups were super yummy. I think the soups may have increased our expectations of the entrees, which were.. sad. Each burger is listed on the menu with the option to have it made with chicken breast instead of beef. I chose that option with the pizza burger. The sandwich was gross. The lettuce smelled old and weirdly like asparagus (??) the chicken breast was the small, sad kind that looks like it came from one of those Perdue bags at the grocery store, the bun was bready, not toasted, and WAY too large for the meager portion of meat, and the "pizza" toppings consisted of like 4 pepperonis and maybe a wipe of marinara. I ate half of the sandwich and had to order cheese fries because I was still hungry. The fries were not seasoned at all (and i'm not a huge salt or seasonings person but this was pitiful) and the tiny cup of cheese maybe lasted for half the portion of fries. Like.. really? Salt your fries! Put something on there! I had to cover them in salt and pepper to get anything out of it. Let's talk service. My boyfriend and I each ordered a beer, finished them, and the glasses were taken away without being asked if we wanted another round. (?) We waited forever for the server to come around to ask for another round. The waitstaff was friendly but didn't seemed too knowledgeable about what they were doing. Our server did not know the soup of the day, and instead of checking and coming back with the options, she just brought out the soup of the day. My boyfriend wasn't even able to choose which kind of soup he wanted. Hmm. Like the other reviewers, I really wanted to like this place. It is right down the street and wanted another good dinner option. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be repeat customers.

Bad Experience! My friend got here 30 minutes before me and ordered his food. I arrived and then ordered... anyway I got my food first. When my friend asked where his food was the bartender said ... "It will taste better because of the wait." No apology! Then when it came 15 minutes after mine he made some comment about that it shouldn't have onions on it. My friend said he didn't ask for no onions then some idiot waitress said the wraps don't come with onions. Don't know why she spoke up in the first place because she wasn't involved. The menu says re wrap should come with onions. The idiot waitress was wrong. She should learn to keep out of conversations she is not part of and maybe to learn the menu. My weise beer was served in a 14 oz glass instead of the normal 23 oz glass they are usually served in. I was told those glasses are for Budweiser and Miller specials only. Hmmmmm.... really? Although this bar is close to my house I don't think we will be back. Don't need bad service and bad attitudes!

The place has had a huge makeover from the previous establishments. Nice craft beer selection; however, you are not allowed to taste before you make a decision. Bad move if you want to be called an Ale House! I think they are still trying to work the bugs out. Hope it happens soon or I won't be back!

Nice neighborhood place. We had the loaded nachos. They where pretty good; homemade chips made it. Drink specials on a Friday night was a nice add on. $5 Martinis where good. I had a lemon drop and Cosmo. Lemon drop was better. The Fireside Italian beef was very tender and tasty. Order it with cheese, its a generous topping. I had the chopped salad. It was a great size and had to bring half home. The blue cheese dressing could have had a chuck or two & sorta tasted like ranch. I'd order a different dressing next time. Service was good and friendly. Over all we'll be back and we'll recommend it to the neighbors

I just hosted a suprise birthday here for my dad and we had a great experience! I had originally said I would have about 30 people coming and about 50 actually showed up. They were still very accomdating and we were given 2 waitresses who were great. They had a 32oz. miller or bud light beer special for $4 going on which many of us enjoyed. This was a Saturday night so I thought that was a great deal. Overall it was a great experience and I will be returning to Fireside soon.

Great food and service, but new rule with beer very disappointing. We used to drink a great craft beer - Founders Dirty Bastard at a great price $5, for a 14.5 oz pint???? Now, new rule, because of alcohol content, can only be served a 10.5 glass. Ok, I get rules and regulations, but guess what? Same price!!!!! No longer a value

Had the BBQ ribs- they were delicious! Service was good and fast. Our friends had the wings and they said they were "ok". 4 stars only because the outdoor patio somehow is not very comfy-maybe for next summer they should consider cusions on the chairs for the hot summer days... Besides that-I think the place is worth a try!

while my ribs were very dry and lacking bbq sauce, the wife and kid loved their hamburgers. What killed it for me was the heavy metal music blasting in the dining room. There is enough noise from the crowd, the music made it impossible to talk and hear. Dont get me wrong, I like heavy metal, just not blasting in my ear while I'm eating. It's a new place, they may get it together. They need to figure out if they are a bar or a restaurant. Perhaps leave the heavy metal until after prime dinner time.

I'm really mixed here. Started out a bit rocky. We ordered specialty bloody marys, however when they came they didn't have any of the garnish's available. The description seemed to highlight the garnishes. This was Sunday at noon. Really? How do you not have ANY of the stated garnish for your specialty bloody marys? Might have been a nice touch to reduce the price (we did ask if they could scramble up some celery and some lime which they did quite quickly). First appetizer out was the pretzel nuggets. Not really tasty and overcooked. However then we got the nachos and the wing special (50 cent wings). Those were very tasty. The nachos were piled high and had homemade crispy chips, the boneless wings were cooked very well and the variety of sauces were all very good. So, all in all, we'll probably go back. Good beer selection, clean place, lots of space. Here's hoping they see this and actually have the advertised garnishes on their bloody mary's next time!

My fiancee and I stumbled upon this place on St. Patrick's Day. We absolutely loved the ambiance. The new owners did a great job updating the restaurant. The service was pretty slow, but being that they're newly opened, I'm assuming they're still working the kinks out. The food was good, prices are reasonable and we loved the atmosphere. We will definitely go back and try some different things from the menu!

My wife and I went into this bar for the first time after passing it since it opened. We were pleasantly surprised to the changes that have been made since the previous bar. was there a few years ago. Very modern, clean and welcoming environment. Waitstaff was knowledgeable about all their beers (and there is a HUGE list to choose from) and the food was a step above your typical "bar food". We just had a grilled chicken sandwich and it was very good. Beer is a tad pricy but for the selection, you're willing to pay. We'll be back!

Came in on Friday night. And sat for over twenty minutes with not one server or staff to approach my family of four in the dining area. Finally a waitress came to us without blaming other staff and apologized and made a point to rush our appetizers and made our first impression gone from horrible to spectacular. My wife and I could tell that she was working the other side of the restaurant and this was not her section but took accountability and pride in the restaurant to wait on my family and go above and beyond to resurrect the miscommunication the hostesses and management had made. I couldn't believe the service this young female provided and it definitely made me want to come back in the future and definitely recognize that young lady's dedication. It's a wonderful establishment for the outstanding severs they have hired. Beautiful restaurant and hope the best for them. We will be back, thank you Maggie and fireside.

What a great first experience Great service and the bartenders were awesome I ordered beers and they were good with recommendations. They made me feel special as a client/customer and I would definitely attend again. TONS of beers to choose from. Kitchen was closed at the time, will try food then.

Went here last night with a $15 Restaurant.com coupon. Management refused to honor the coupon indicating that they no longer have a relationship with Restaurant.com and that they are in litigation with them. I pointed out that the coupon has no expiration date and insisted that they still honor it. I also pointed out that their business relationship problems should not affect me, the paying customer. Our bill was around $80, (coupon required a $22.50 minimum purchase) so it wouldn't have been a huge loss in order to maintain good will with us. We were a party of around 8 - most have not been here before. A 2nd plea to a different manager received the same response and was followed by visit to our table from the owner. The owner also refused. Shortly after, the police showed up, but left before any confrontation with our party. Eventually, the owner offered $10.00 off our bill....really? You couldn't offer the entire amount? I guess this place has enough business and doesn't need any new customers, so we won't be coming back. There are plenty of other options in the area.

Went here over the weekend with a group of 16. The service was a bit slow, but given our group size, it was to be expected. The sports bar atmosphere was good, large tvs all over. The surrounding music was a touch too loud, as we couldn't always hear ourselves talk. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of fries. EXCELLENT! The chicky was juicy, bun not too big... and the fries were awesome! Followed the evening up with a piece of their cheesecake with a raspberry drizzle. Portion size was just right, also very good. Not knowing what to expect when a person goes into the bathroom, however most of our whole group said the same thing.... "did you see the bathrooms". They had to be the nicest kept bathrooms we had seen in awhile. Each stall with it's own solid smoked glass door, with a full quarter size mirror too. Beautiful tile work, lighting, everything. It feels as if they are still revamping from a previous restaurant, so we also saw some construction supplies on the unfinished, unfurnished patio. We inquired about the patio, and they were days away from their outdoor furniture shipment. They have most of the components for a successful restaurant, I'll be bringing my family back.

I would say this place is definitely getting their act together, and must read these reviews. I had the ribs and sweet potato fries. Unlike as stated in another review the ribs now have a great BBQ sauce [my guess is Sweet Baby Ray's] over their well seasoned though a bit dry ribs. Their crinkled sweet potato fries were outstanding. The seasoning was great and they were crisp on the outside without being burnt or greasy, yet cooked throughout which is very hard to do. My husband had the burger which they state is never frozen and he loved it. Coleslaw was good, but the baked beans were not. Both our soups were homemade and excellent. They still need a bit of work with the wait staff. We waited a long time for the soups which came out almost at the same time as the meal. I can't speak for the liquor since I don't drink, but the meal pricing was reasonable. We'll go back for the sweet potato fries alone.

My fiancé and I were really excited to try Fireside as it is really close to our home; we had high hopes! We drove into the parking lot and the lack of cars on a Saturday night made us a little wary, but the weather was pretty crappy so we decided to go in anyway. It was pretty empty, and was an older crowd than we expected (mostly 40's and up I'd guess). They have a nice looking bar. My fiancé was happy with their draft beer selection but realized he left his license at home, and I had a glass of wine. That was good, though I was a little turned off by the glass which didn't look all that clean (it had fingerprints all over it and looked like some waxy residue from lipstick). We both felt like the food took too long, and when it finally came we were both disappointed. My fiancé's ribs may have been overcooked, they were in no way that awesome fall off the bone consistency. He could pick the whole slab up with a fork and it was like one big brick. The sauce was nothing special. I ordered boneless wings, some tangy bbq and some honey buffalo. I wasn't thrilled with either sauce so I didn't eat much. The service was fine, but as it was a new place we kind of expected some sort of manager or owner to come ask how things were, and we planned on giving them our feedback, but no one ever did. As we left, a few servers/hosts were chatting up front and no one bothered to say anything to us. This seems like a place for people to go have a few beers, but nothing more, and it seems like they're attracting a middle age plus crowd (which is fine, but isn't necessarily the place we'd go have drinks with our friends). Needless to say, we won't be going back, which we are really disappointed about!

Our party of 6 was not impressed with this place for dinner. However, we decided this is more of a drinks & heavy appetizers kind of place & might return with friends to watch a game on their many televisions. The night we visited it was busy but never appeared to be anyone standing to wait for tables. We had heard great thinks about the burgers but we were disappointed when told they were out of ground beef, so no burgers. Had the french onion soup and it was more cheese than soup. Steak salad was lacking in flavor. The meat was tasteless & looked like mystery meat. The ribs were delish so we would order those again if we returned. Didn't care for the baked beans. Atmosphere was bar-like & facility was clean. Staff did an adequate job. Music was entirely too loud for dinnertime & we had to shout across the booth to one another. Was told they are changing ip the menu soon but not sure we would rush back.

Family ate there 1-3-14. First off, let me say they are still working out the kinks. We arrived about 6:40pm, told there would be a 20 min wait, seated in 5. Sat in the bar side which was quite loud- understandably because it's the bar side- but difficult to have a conversation. The other side seemed quieter. Server took our drink order quickly, but it took a while to get them. Does have a good beer selection as commented by one in our party. Food: had the potato skins as an appetizer. They were decent but nothing special. 2 in our party had the signature burger and were satisfied with the way they were cooked and tasted. Home made chips were good as were the fries. Seasoned nicely. The baked beans were quite good. Different from the normal baked beans-a little sweet, a hint of allspice, finishing with just the right amount of heat. Another had the chic-parm sandwich. I ordered the 8" personal thin crust pizza with garlic, spinach and mozzarella. I requested the red sauce be left off. It was exactly how I hoped it would taste. Our server was friendly, trying to be attentive. Our finished plates were tended to immediately. As we were leaving, we were greeted by the owner and asked how our experience was and any comments, suggestions. As I said at the start, they are trying to work out the kinks. They need someone experienced in the front end of operations. This is a great location and was excited to see it open. It could be a great place. I'd go back.

So my plans this past Saturday night turned to Option B when the bar my friend and I went to was at capacity... we didn't get tickets to the band we wanted to see in advance so we weren't let in. Such a bummer! Plan B was to see my friend's country band, though I'm not a fan of country music...I don't mind making a trip to see them from time to time. I don't live in this area so it was a small trip out. Saturday pm - cover was $7 to see the band. There was plenty of room to sit in that area of the bar, the other bar was a little crowded, but not packed or anything. The atmosphere here was actually pretty chill, totally my kind of place with that whole sports bar feel to it! It's always a bummer when bars don't have "specials" on Friday or Saturday...I get it, it's their money making nights over the weekend, but throw your patrons a bone, already. This place DID have Saturday PM specials and we got ourselves these HUGE drafts of beer for $5 - made us very happy! There were other specials but I can't recall just because that beer special was pretty awesome. There is outdoor seating here too, and they have a full menu which I have no idea about. I would definitely come back here again, all was good in this place!

First of all... Thanks to Gina for the tip on this place running out of things. My wife and I were in the mood for wings. The server mentioned that they were out of the bourbon sauce. Bummer. Gina - you called it. Overall, if you're looking for a place to have beers or cocktails with friends, and don't care much about the food, then this place is just fine. Go drink, enjoy your friends... no problem at all. For that, I'd give the place 4 stars. BUT... this is a restaurant and a bar... we went on a nice summer evening, but wouldn't sit outside because there were smokers out there. Sorry... that's just a fact. The food is just OK. Not horrible, but not tremendous. As others have stated, after couple of years of being open, this place should be packed on a Friday evening on a beautiful summer evening. Why not? I'm guessing that the food is not scaring people off, but it's not brining them back over and over. By the way, the wings were OK... good, but not a destination place for wings. I think if they step up the food quality and overall service just a bit, they will be packed. One more thing... making gambling available seems to be in vogue around here lately. I'm not opposed to gambling, but it's not going to draw me into your place just for that. If I want to gamble, I'll go to a boat. Otherwise, just give me good food and service at a reasonable price, and I'll be back over and over.

Just a few tips for newbie servers... Always greet your tables within 30 seconds of them being seated, check on them after their first two bites and make sure to write things down to avoid asking the same question 3+ times. I'm not posting this with the intentions of being negative or obnoxious, but genuinely trying to be helpful from years of experience in the restaurant industry. My food was cooked improperly and the wrong side accompanied my dish, but our server never checked on us so I ate it anyway. I enjoy coming here so I'm still giving three stars, but our service tonight was pretty weak. I'm sure some more mentorship or training would be beneficial. :)

Had a great time tonight. Meal and drinks where on point! You know the service makes it or breaks it....Courtney was on point for sure. She made sure I had the right darker beers and also made sure I was good enough to drive home lol. Not too many bartenders care enough to wish you a safe drive home. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great place to watch The Stanley Cup Finals. Half price bottles of wine and half price pizza on Wednesday night. I had the Italian Beef and Giardiniera pizza was amazing! The absolute best customer service here! Our wonderful server Courtney was way above the curve. Seriously I have been eating out for a long time and she is excellent!

Decent food and service on a random Wednesday night. Really disappointed with the smoking being allowed in the outdoor seating area. Even a cigar smoker. Everytime the door open we got an unhealthy waft of cigar smoke in the bar area. Must be desperate for business to not follow the law. Maybe a health department fine or worker complaint will wake them up.

I really wanted to like this place because it is so close to home. It is clean and nice decor as other reviews stated, but service was painfully slow, music was too loud not to mention the music selection was ridiculous. My husband loved his burger so I gave an extra star.

Two stars is only based on getting a watered down Bulleit rye for $8.50 R u kidding me. I understand this is not a whiskey or bourbon. Cmon when I say on the rocks i didn't mean water ton of ice and a splash of Bulleit. How can you get such a simple drink wrong and charge me so much for it. I would pay the 8.50 if it was served properly see my pic of the drink and you tell me if it was worth it. Don't get me wrong my previous post is based on food and service and did give it 5 stars that has not changed. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. I would go back, just won't order drinks on the rocks..

After now being open for a few years you would think they had time to work the kinks out but this does not seem to be the case. The pizza and appetizers are pretty good and are always hot. However they always seem to be running out of things. The last time I went they were out of wings, today they ran out of champagne as well as Bud Light. Bud Light is a prettttty common beer that you should always keep stocked. They do not seem to be prepared very well. The service is also very mediocre, especially when the place is not busy they should be more attentive.

Incredibly loud speakers. The Hawks playoff game is on, but the tv volume is so loud you can't even hear yourself think. The "DJ" has no idea how to use a mic. He just bellows into it, making everything simply painful to listen to. An order of jalapeño poppers took over 15 minutes to show up. How hard are jalapeño poppers? We asked for our food to go. It's just too obnoxious to eat here. The atmosphere is oppressive. $40 for a pizza that is reminiscent of the high school cafeteria, jalapeño poppers that may have simply been microwaved, and two beers. Do yourself a favor and give this place a miss.

This place was recommended by some friends. First time was a great experience and the food was on point. The second time we ordered our usual "loaded nachos" and they weren't loaded at all. I was very disappointed! I hope they keep up with the consistency so when I return I can enjoy my usual! Other then that the atmosphere is great and they provide great service.

Ok ok, it's time to update my review. I initially gave it three stars because I liked it, I now give it four because I have more visits under my belt and enjoy it. I stand by much of what I previously said: nice atmosphere, clean, Nate is great server, not much of a kids place, etc., read my previous review. I have tried something different each time I've gone-- I've gotten the brownie dessert: yummy! the chopped salad: red peppers are a great touch, the Caesar and buffalo chicken wraps as mentioned in my previous review: very good, the all-you-can-eat fish fry: good plus homemade chips, and most recently the traditional chicken wings with the dry Cajun rub on them: quite tasty and comes with either bleu cheese or ranch plus celery. I've also tried things the BF and his bro have ordered such as the tacos ($1 tacos on Tuesdays) and chili, which they enjoyed immensely. (I've posted pictures of most of this) I've also chatted with a bunch of the wait staff, hostesses, bartenders, bar backs, and even the chef-- they really are a nice bunch and seem to do their jobs well. Sometimes things get hectic and mistakes can happen or people can have an off day, but they seem to be a good bunch. As I previously reviewed, it can be really loud sometimes, particularly on a game night or when they have a live DJ playing tunes, but that is to be expected. On a regular night the volume is average, so it's not always like that, hakuna matata. New addition to my review: the bathrooms! I went in them for the first time a couple of visits ago and they are so nice, new, and clean! I was quite surprised because usually bar-ish sort of places have kinda meh bathrooms. I stop here, go try it for yourself. I really did like that dry rub on the wings.... mmm... well done, chef.

This place needs to decide if they want to be a sports bar or a Euro disco dance. Complete disconnect between the loud club music, laser light show, and fog machine. The management needs to recognize their bar is set setup as a great place to watch a game, or have a beer and burger with your team after a late night hockey or softball game. Their attempt to bring in a larger Bro crowd makes it unappealing despite the good food, good services and good beer. Won't be back late night. During the day perhaps.

Happened upon this place on a game night and WOW...it's loud! When the Hawks scored a siren went off...everyone went nuts... Fun. I'm not a sports fan but it was fun and I can see that this would be a great place to watch a game with friends...friends you don't necessarily want to have a catch-every-word conversation with that night. We had the fish fry and it was good. More importantly...they have Three Floyd's Gumballhead. HELLO! LOVE that beer! And if you don't...knock yourself out discovering your favorite amongst their endless taps. Atmosphere was very nice and our server, Nate, was exceptional. He obviously had tons of tables but he was on it!

Placed an ordered for pick for a large pizza with sausage and peperoni, they told us 15-20 min wait. We got there and had to wait 20 more mins, opened the box to check the pizza and it had none of the ingredients that we ordered... only good thing about this experience was that the money went back on the card fast. The service that we experienced tonight was slow, sloppy, and the host seemed to be rushed and rude.

Overall, I would give this place 3.5 stars. The service was great (Kimberly is super friendly!) But the food is a downer. I started with a half dozen oysters that were on special for $1.50. To be honest, they didn't taste too fresh, and weren't shucked properly, having tiny fragments of shell on the meat. For the meal, I opted for the beer battered cod platter. Maybe it's just me, but when I hear platter, I imagine huge portions. Not here though. There were 3 wimpy strips of cod, heavily battered, with a mediocre side of fries. They came with cole slaw, which had a weird chemically-taste to it. If I had to give stars for the food alone, I would say 2. But Kimberly saved the day with her service and attitude.

Like most everyone else super excited to see this place open and try it out. Very disappointed tonight to find out I couldn't try one of their beers before deciding to order. Then the waitress tells me I can order a flight and explains to me what a flight is. I've married a beer connoisseur. I know craft beer, I know flights, I'm a professional. Next, they say before it's even 7pm, they are out of the fish special for my husband.

Unreal!!!! Walked in at 5:30 for dinner. They asked if we were staying for the Hawks game. We said we were, the hostess walked away, came back and said they didn't have any seats available, they were 95% full, HELLO....WE ARE THE OTHER 5%!!! Would not seat us. Will not be back ever and will spread the word about this horrible experience and lack of professionalism.

With so many options in the area I would have thought this place would be better. The pros, nice interior, the con's, food was horrible and the service was worse, even got attitude from the owner when I asked if he was turning the Hawks game on. Sorry for asking but the game is starting now, I see you are having fun playing DJ and all.... Back to the service, we sat at a table for 15 minutes before a server even approached us, manager even walked past us and didn't even acknowledge are lack of drinks. Its their job to monitor the dining room, they couldn't even get that right. I know when you walk into a bar the food can be iffy, but this place doesn't even come close to decent food. I won't be back, far too many other great places in the area.

The food is really good, but the service/kitchen is SLOOOOOW. A great place to have some drinks and food if you're not in a time crunch, but not recommended if you're on a schedule. We've been here a few times. The most recent time was a Monday night. The dining room wasn't busy. We ordered our food and more and it took 30+ minutes to get chicken wings, shrimp, burger and a sandwich (all of which was great!). Nothing that should have taken that long to get our food. It would have been ok if we had been kept updated on the progress, but that didn't happen and the wait staff should be more knowledgeable about the menu. I'm hoping they improve because this is a place my husband and I would frequent for their food and their beer selection.

I went there on a Saturday evening as a party of 6 after going to a rain-soaked fest in the area. It's clean and open in the dining room and bar areas. We arrived a little after 9 pm, so not a lot of others in the dining room areas. The negatives were the fairly loud house music playing and it took a long time for the food to come. We ordered apps and various types of wings and it took 45 minutes, with not much "competition" in terms of others ordering food-should have brought the apps out earlier. Other than that, it's pretty good bar food-wings are meaty and sauces are good-hot buffalo and parmesan garlic. The nacho plate was decent-large, but not a lot of cheese, sour cream or guacamole (mostly wilted warm lettuce). They do have a large tap list of macro and craft brews and many daily drink and food specials. I'd go back if in the area as the place has potential, for sure.

So I am not really sure how to word this. I WANT to give them a higher rating, but their service really, REALLY needs to get better. There are only one or two servers worth their time at this place. Long story short, after a looooooong wait (45 minutes after being seated) without even being given WATER, my friends and I walked out. The manager, Melissa, was made aware of the situation, asked me for my address so she could send my friends and I something and this hasn't happened. It's been a couple months. So I don't think that's ever going to happen. So I haven't been there as often as I would have liked since they really need to step up their game...

Came here with a friend on a kid-free friday night after work and this place is ok. She is a regular here but this was my first time here. If you are a drinker the selection is pretty good but since I am not it is just another loud sports bar kind of place. Nothing in the place really sets it apart from any of the other places I have been to but there was nothing really wrong with it either. The place is a little drafty and loud. Not much different than when it was 50 North a few years back.

I wonder if we picked the wrong time to check out this place. 1. We were seated, but after 20 min. our friend had to ask if we could get some service. The manager brought us a waiter, and we thought everything would be good now. Not so much. 2. Food was terrible. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap, and the fries were stone cold and limp. The chicken in the wrap was burnt to a chicken jerky consistency, but some how they thought to serve it. I never usually send food back, but it was inedible. 3. My friends ordered the 2 for 25, and it comes with an appetizer, soup or salad, and your choice of a shared or individual entree. They brought the entrees first, appetizers second, and we had to ask where the soups were. What sort of orded is that. At least the ribs they ordered were tasty. This was my first, and last time coming here. If I want a place to watch the game and grab a bite... I would recommend anywhere else. I can comment that they put out a buffet at half time. Our waiter never let us know that either. I hope they figure out their service and food soon. Nice overall ambiance, and this place was closed for at least a year before this place took over the location.

This was really good place to go for a late Friday dinner. We ordered a plate of baked potato skins which was OK, along with all-you-can-eat Fish and chips (Only fish is all you can eat), since we came only before 20 mins before the kitchen closed we just got a refill once (so that was 3 + 2 pieces). They have specials here everyday of the week, so be aware of what they are. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We did order a couple of drinks to go with our food. There were a few veggie options too, so couple of other friends were also very happy to order a sandwich and a wrap. We ordered the chocolate cake for dessert, which was nothing fancy. Most noticeable here was: They had huge projection screens and projectors all around showing some game or other, which was really really cool. I can definitely see myself going here sometime in the future.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The service here is terrible. I was seated for a good twenty minutes before the server came to the table. Don't know his name because he never offered it. I order a beer and a glass of water. 10 minutes later, he brought my beer, but no water. So I asked again.... And then didn't see him again until my entire table had empty drinks. To make it short, I had to ask two more times before having a glass of water set in front of me. I contemplated ordering food, but my friend was less than impressed with what she had ordered and honestly - the menu is way too extensive. There are so many items that it's a bit overwhelming. My visit here ended abruptly when a few friends (who had been there with us earlier in the evening) were told they weren't welcome. Don't bother with this place unless you like slow service and being discriminated against.

Stopped for a late dinner one Saturday night. Nice atmosphere, especially if you enjoy sports. Wasn't busy but service was pretty slow. I saw our drinks sitting at the bar station for a good ten minutes. Not sure where our waitress drifted off to. But food was actually quite good and the guy who brought our food out was super nice as was the guy who cleared our plates. Maybe our waitress was having a rough night. Would definitely go again and give it another chance.

Bad service. Couldn't get drinks. Asked over four times before water was even delivered. Bad service :(

Whenever a new restaurant opens, I REALLY want to like it. There are always some kinks to work out, so it will be interesting to see how it all pans out. When I first walked in I was greeted, and we were seated right away. It wasn't busy at all (it was a Sunday evening). There are plenty of TV's scattered around so you can watch sports/whatever else is on. There is also a large bar that you can sit at. They have a decent selection of beers on draft and a few bottle at a fair price. My friend had been here once before and said that she had ordered a few things that she wasn't too impressed with (french onion soup, nachos, burger, pasta), but they had made a few changes since then so we gave it another try. Their menu is kind of crumpled (maybe they don't have nicer ones yet since they are just starting out). They also don't have prices on their mixed drinks menu - I don't like that. You shouldn't have to hide your prices. They have normal bar food to choose- burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, wraps, pizza, a few pastas, and wings. I wouldn't say there is a ton to choose from, but enough to find something you will like. I ordered the Western Burger. To be honest, it wasn't the best. The meat was overcooked and seemed like it was a frozen patty at one point. The fries were thin and greasy, and pretty limp. We also ordered the mac & cheese bites, which needed some sort of sauce on it. Everything was pretty cheap, but the taste just wasn't there. Our waitress was good at first, but then it felt like we waited forever for our check (and like I said...it wasn't busy). I hope they can make some improvements so that they will stick around, but so far I wouldn't go back.

The bruschetta and corn chowder were awesome. We also got a burger: also good. Pretty classic flavor. The ribs were ok, not all that special. Came back and had the chili and sweet potato fries. The chili was great and the sweet potato fries were just the right kind of crispy. Would totally come here again. :)

Dig this place, great beers, great grub, and great service. Just kind of shocked at some of the crybabies out there complaining it's too loud. If you want quiet time, stay home!!

The atmosphere for sports is great. Great beer selection and specials. Jalepeno poppers are money along with the homemade salad dressing.

Well - the fried pickles were good. The cook must be off their game tonight, because the food was pretty terrible. The waitress was nice and friendly. The chicken tenders (a signature dish?) were so burnt that we couldn't eat them. The burger lacked any seasoning, but was cooked just how I asked for it. Atmosphere seems nice, but the food was just a huge disappointment.

I'm only giving this a five star because of the exceptional service from my server Brittany. I must say her attentiveness was not only well noted but very on point, so knowledgeable with all the whole food menu! if you go literally ask for her she knows her stuff and is amazingly pleasant to have as a server. Will be back

We came here Friday night. Food and service was great, even though they were busy. Came here this afternoon again. They're not too busy. Service. Was. Terrible. I'll think twice about coming here again.

They have a large variety of beer and the service was friendly, if somewhat slow. The main reason for this low score is that the food is pretty bad. I had a grilled cheese sandwich that consisted mostly of bread. My wife had the breaded chicken sandwich, which was overdone and dry. This place was worth a try as something different than our usual hangouts, but we won't be returning.

Fireside is a great spot for a causal dinner and drinks. I enjoy coming in with a group of friends from time to time to watch the hawks games and we were very impressed by the atmosphere and the food. The boneless wings, burgers, and chicken tenders are some good choices for food. They have different food and drink specials every night, and a wide variety of beers on tap. Also, the service is great and the staff is always very accommodating. We especially like Sheryl, she's very attentive, friendly and we always look forward to seeing her if we drop in. Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit!

We went there for the Hawks game today, let's just say we won't be back. The place is very clean and have a lot of screens to watch your favorite Chicago sport. But I will say they have a GREAT beer selection ! We had maybe 20 people, got there early and our table was reserved. So here are my complaints. 3 of us got the wrong food A friend got chicken alfredo and had a puddle of oil on the bottom. My wife ordered a beer, 30 mins later, still never got it They added gratuity to each of our bills Never got any ice in our water cups Staff was not friendly. So if you want to go there for a beer and some basic bar food, it is not bad. Overall i say stay away from this place !

Review 1. Beer selection is very good but our server knew nothing about the beers. Was here to watch a Hawks game and the sub-woofer is set so loud that you can not talk to your friends. TURN THE BASS DOWN! DJ and a Hockey game? Review 2. Was there on a Friday after work and they only had 1/3 of the tap beers and less than 1/2 the beers in cans/bottles. The name of this place is an "ALE HOUSE"; I guess Miller is an ale. :(

Absolutely wonderful staff, and great beer selection. Food was fantastic and the chicken tenders are a must along with the pizza here. We came in on a Wednesday and were pleasantly surprised to see karaoke here. The host was beyond funny and by far the best kj we've seen. I seriously recommend this place highly.

We have been here twice and the food is very good. I was very pleased with the chicken wings and the sauce had good flavor. Today I had a burger and it was cooked just the way I ordered, it had good flavor and the bun was unique and delicious. Here is what I would change: The service was great on Friday night but today it sucked! Had to go in to get drink refills and the waitress was not very responsive. If not for the taste of the food I would have given them a 1-2 star review. The ranch dressing is home made but very runny. It tastes good but makes eating wings / salad a bigger mess than it needs to be. The last change I would make would be to put the nachos on a plate rather than in a bowl. You get the toppings all over the table and it just does not make you feel good about ordering them even though they are great. I am just worried this place won't last with bad service from some and I want to stress some of the wait staff.

A nice looking place, good service, and great appetizers with ok entree.s It's a sports bar, let's be honest, don't go here for non-bar food. I was there on a Monday, the outside sign said 15% off entire bill, maybe it meant just drinks? Not sure but they didn't give me 15% off, no big I had a $10 off 50 coupon. What was odd was they offered us 6.99 build a burgers. It wasn't on the specials either. Very confused but I asked what are they known for and the waitress said burgers and fish. I decided to go with the burger since it was on sale. I got one medium w/ bacon, grilled onions, egg, and pepper jack cheese. I asked to sub grilled onions in for my tomato, but got charged 99 cents for it any how. I also got the pretzel roll and subbed waffle fries another 99 cents. They really know how to add on little charges. The bun was a lot harder and tougher to eat through than I expected, more like a french roll density and toughness. The burger was cooked perfectly to medium. Though the fried egg was cooked through, I wish it was runny, they did not ask how I wanted it but I've never been served a fully cooked egg before on a burger. The appetizer tray was where it was at! We got the 20 dollar sampler, at first I was like really 20 bucks?! But it was well worth it. They had some wings, corn fritters, fried mac and cheese, cheese sticks, fried green beans, and onion rings. Everything was excellent, crispy and tasty! The only thing was the onion rings, on their menu they say they are so good they can't say more about it (not sure exact wording) but basically they were just typical beer battered onion rings. So not really special. But everything else was great. The waffle fries I upgraded to were limp and not crispy nor seasoned. Service was good. Wish they would have dropped by a lot sooner after serving our food, I would have actually said something about my food not being that great. Place is big and spacious, almost like there is not enough tables to fill the place. TV's everywhere. wish they had closed captioning on it.
