I've been here a couple times now and it has not disappointed. Gotten an omelette and skillet and both were just what you would expect from a family restaurant. They were both good, but nothing spectacular. All the dishes are reasonably priced, about $10 / person including your coffee and tax. The service was slow both times, with a group of 3 and a group of 7. I would rate it 3.5 stars if that was possible.

Excellent whole catfish on Friday nights. I've never had a bad meal. Soups and salads are big and fresh. Sometimes service is slow but that does coincide with when they are busy. Great family restaurant.

Service is fast. Food comes quick. But the american fries are just like a chunck of french fries. Not too good to have them for breakfast unless you like fries for breakfast.

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast on Friday. This place has the feel of a small time mom and pop restaurant. There are not a lot of big frills or decorations that make you think of any of the large chains you see all over the place. The menus are plain and have that home made feel to it. The location can be a little difficult to get in or out of depending on traffic and which direction you want to travel. When we walked in, we were promptly greeted and shown to a table. A waitress took our drink order and gave us time to peruse the menu with out hovering or staying away too long. My wife decided she wanted the country fried steak and eggs. I went with the corned beef hash skillet. For those of you that don't know what a skillet is, take all of your ingredients, mix it together in a frying pan, cook it up, and serve it with an egg on top... There is your skillet. So in my case it was Hash browns, onions, Corned Beef hash, and cheese with two eggs over easy on top. I'm pretty sure the corned beef was canned and not homemade, but either way it was still pretty good. My wife's country fried steak on the other hand was just okay. The gravy the put on top was pretty bland. It wasn't sausage gravy like biscuits and gravy, but a country/sawmill gravy and it really needed something. It was almost like eating plain flour gravy with no seasoning. The breading on the steak was standard, and of course it's really hard to mess up eggs. Overall, we thought it was a nice little restaurant; it had a good breakfast, about $20.00 for the two of us with tip.
