Thirty-Thirty Coffee Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Thirty-thirty is great. Seriously. I've never experienced a staff member being rude to me or anyone else and, frankly, I doubt it even happens (referring to the negative reviews.) What's on the menu is what you can order. I find it charming and it gives me confidence that my drink of choice won't be sub par. If you want a sugary mass of cream with a small amount of coffee that lacks quality, go somewhere else! But, actually, don't. Order a macchiato or something (no, not caramel) and fall in love. The place is often packed, but service is still impressively fast - have you seen all of the steps taken by the barista?? The coffee is delicious and there's tons to choose from. I also find it all to be reasonably priced, aside from the pastries. All in all, my favorite coffee joint I've been to, conveniently located right here in Peoria.

Absolutely love this place. My boyfriend and I had our first date there and we go back quite often. The staff is always accommodating and knowledgeable. The surroundings give a very cool and laid back vibe. The rosewater masala latte is my absolute favorite, but everything is made with care. So happy there are small businesses like thirty-thirty making a home in Peoria.

Thirty-Thirty coffee is awesome every time I go! Always delicious. Wish I could make it out there more often!!!

Ty, Dan and Angie were so helpful, friendly and guided me through a wonderful first visit. I had a Kenyan pour over and it was more than delicious. Great, solid mug and when paired w an almond butter pastry it was a quality visit. How so you beat service, quality and helpful tips. Bought 3 pounds of beans to take home. Come to the Quad Cities!

Though I am not a coffee drinker, I can appreciate Thirty-Thirty's appeal. The ambiance is exactly what you want in a coffee shop: natural light, positive vibe, plenty of customers socialising and interesting/historic decor. I bought a bag of their famous espresso beans for my wife, the coffee aficionado of the family, and she will give me the final verdict. Until then, four stars for Thirty-Thirty and thanks for bringing your game to downtown Peoria. It is one hip place now.

My Americano is possibly the best Americano i have ever drank! The location is fantastic- the architecture is retro-hip. Brick interior walls makes one cozy and want to linger. Whiny rock/alternative music gets annoying after a while- a very short while. Eclectic and diverse customers all working away. Homework on apples, and apples, and apples make you wonder if this is the Peoria farmers market but no- just coffee and pastries. Bathrooms are clean, and spacious. Floor to ceiling windows make Thirty-Thirty appear spatially larger than it is, and probably brings in good natural lighting during the day. Borderline bitchy baristas don't salute you back when you say hello- but the coffee makes their attitude passable.

I briefly visited Thirty-Thirty after hearing great things. I was not disappointed. The interior is very nice; and intimate cozy feeling to it despite there being plenty of space and lots of tables spread out inside. There are some bigger tables that would be great if you would like to get work done, and then a more comfortable area on the other side with couches and whatnot. Certainly seemed inviting for customers to stay and hang out. Most importantly the coffee was awesome. I was really impressed with the quality. I love Coffee Hound where I live in Bloomington but I feel like Thirty-Thirty might have them beat. All the staff were helpful and friendly and overall just a great first experience. I wish I lived closer so that I could visit this place more often. Great job guys.

Some people say I have a remarkable memory. I just happen to remember moments that are important in life. I will always remember my decaf cappuccino hear as one of the best espresso drinks I have ever had. Definitely in the top three. The classic 1/3 steamed milk, 1/3 foam, 1/3 espresso proportion is really the only way it should be served. This coffee shop is located in a cool old building decorated in an eclectic yet uncluttered aesthetic. A great place to read a book, catch up on some writing, or merely savoring a moment of freedom from the rat race of life. As I mentioned in my previous post, this coffee shop may catch a few people off guard with no drip coffee after 1pm and no cappuccino's to-go (not sure about latte's). They are coffee purists.

The building and setup are very nice. I've had the fortune to come in during a roasting time, and it's wonderfully smoky close to the front. It smells awesome, and actually I could smell it a block away as I walked there. The coffee is excellent, if you are sipping there, you will receive some wonderful artwork in your cup. I really, really want to give this place five stars, because I think the location and coffee warrant it. However, I cannot, because more often than not, the staff seems aloof at best to downright snobby at worst. Hey, baristas: not everyone knows espresso drinks as well as you do. As a customer, it is nice to ask a question and not be dealt an eyeroll while receiving the answer. My husband came in one afternoon and asked for a plain coffee. He may as well have claimed he was an alien, judging by the reaction he received. He was subsequently chided that they don't serve plain coffee. Sorry, but coming into a coffee house and asking for a regular drip coffee doesn't seem like an out-of-the-ordinary request. So, once this place drops the hipster know-it-all-better-than-you attitude, it'll receive five stars from me.

I'm not a big coffee person, but this place has it going on for Peoria. The staff was very knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. The interior is cafe with a big bear.

Awesome place. My wife and I have our daughter at OSF and Thirty thirty is a great find in Peoria. The coffee is roasted on site and they have a few methods of brewing that you can choose, I prefer Chemex Great find great coffee.

First off I would like to say that Thirty Thirty Coffee is some of the best coffee I've had. And for that alone I would give them 5 stars. Now on to the reasons I've given the just two. I walked into Thirty Thirty to get 2 iced coffees. Nothing special, just plain iced coffee. When I placed my order I was simply told with attitude: "We don't do iced coffee." Ok...I replied is there any way I could get an iced coffee? I just need some coffee and ice. "We can make you an iced Americano" she replies condescendingly. I say that would be fine. It didn't end there. When my iced coffee drinks were done (sorry I mean iced Americano) there was still more attitude when I asked her for half and half. I mean seriously...lose the attitude. I like cream in my coffee get over it. Don't take offense if I like cream and you don't. Let me drink my coffee the way I like it end of story. Don't make me feel like your anti-establishment coffee shop is so much better than me. If we all liked the same things how boring would that be? I get it you are not Starbucks...but I didn't order a venti java chip frappachino! Just iced coffee! Ok. I'm done with my rant. I would like to say I will never return here because of the way I was treated over something so small. But the fact is I haven't decided yet. I am a big supporter of small business... My wife owns one so I like to support them as well. I want small businesses in peoria to thrive, but if they treat people like this that's reason enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

Quick read? -Quality coffee, no matter what you get -Fairly priced for what you get -Staff who will remember you If I had to sum up Thirty-Thirty, I'd say that it is precisely what a coffee shop ought to be. Good coffee, from end-to-end (whether you want pour-over, espresso drinks, or just a quick fix). I will admit that I mostly drink pour-over, so you may take that with a grain of salt. That aside, they've got good pour-over technique, and offer a few choices of coffee beans on a daily basis (at different prices, as well). They have their own roasts, which I'd characterize as a light-to-medium roast. Comparatively, I'd put it as toastier than Intelligentsia, although they definitely have an thought-stimulating range of tastes available (the handful of ones I've tried). Not as deeply roasted as a Metropolis coffee, but nicely balanced, and distinctive enough to be a cut above standard DD or Burntbucks. The space is open and attractively furnished, with plenty of windows and lighting. It's a popular place for medical students to study, and it can get a little packed on occasion. I'd just call it a sign of the success the place enjoys. On that note, the success is likely to be at least partially due to the excellent staff who work there. They are attentive, friendly, and will take care of you. It is easy for a coffee place to slow down too much in the pursuit of quality (especially places with an emphasis on cup-by-cup brewing), or to sacrifice quality in the name of efficiency (again, DD or Burntbucks). Thirty-Thirty gets it right. A pleasant surprise for me here, that's for sure. Nothing else to say but to encourage them to keep on keepin' on.

So this place technically hasn't had its grand opening yet, but it opened up on Monday. I stopped in today to check it out. I was very excited to see that they roast their own beans, which is starting to become a prerequisite for when I buy coffee out. I ordered a French Press of Papua New Guinea Kimel. I also ordered a chocolate milk for my 2-year-old, which was not on the menu, but they obliged by charging me for a hot chocolate (probably too expensive for what I actually got). The coffee was yummy. If you've never had freshly roasted beans before, I strongly recommend it. The coffee just gets a very smooth, non-bitter at all, flavor. The atmosphere was nice, it's an old brick building with a giant taxidermy bear, holding a bag of coffee, when you walk in. (I saw one kid be really scared of it, walking through the door.) I'll have to come back again to buy some coffee to take home. The only downsides that I could see are 1)They do not offer a bottomless cup. I like to pay one price and sit for a couple hours reading a book. 2)It seemed to attract somewhat of a hipster crowd, which may get annoying, but it's probably too soon to tell. (I'm not a hipster...yeah, I know all hipsters will deny being one, but I'm not.) Definitely worth checking out. I'm located closer to Leaves n Beans, but if I ever work downtown, this would probably be the place I would stop, because their coffee is really quality.

Great coffee. Friendly baristas who are just as confused as to why they are in Peoria as you are. You don't really have any other options in Peoria, but you don't need them, because Thirty-Thirty is pretty awesome.

The owners of this coffee establishment have brought world-class coffee to Central Illinois. Not only that, but they have hopefully begun an invigoration of what was otherwise a very neglected part of Downtown Peoria. When I say world-class coffee, I literally mean that it stands shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the best coffee beans on the planet. They crafted an espresso blend that scored 94 on Coffee Review (I think less than 200 coffees EVER have accomplished this feat), and their Ethiopian Hachira single source coffee scored a 94 as well. Their micro-batch roasting process yields fantastic product, and given that they are only a year old, they have nowhere else to go but upwards. But putting all metrics and such aside, I absolutely love 3030's coffee. I especially love their African roasts and I have told them this many times. If I'm not ordering coffee, I usually get their Signature Latte, which contains that espresso blend I mentioned, as well as a mix of spices to give it that unique 3030 flavor. I can literally taste it as I write and it makes me crave my fix! If you haven't tried this place yet I strongly suggest you swing by. A drip cup or latte costs less than other major commercial establishments in town, you just won't have the convenience of a drive-thru...if that's your thing. They have a more traditional approach to customer service ;-)

Pure, unadulterated, coffee. The baristas are so knowledgeable and friendly. During my first visit I wasn't entirely sure where to begin and they were eager to guide me on my java journey. The result was a Pour Over with a Miel chaser. Both were extraordinary. The amazing coffee paired with the eclectic space makes for the perfect coffee shop experience! Well done Thirty-Thirty!

Best coffee in Central Illinois and really reasonable prices means I usually don't stop at just one latte per visit.

I stopped in first thing on a holiday Sunday, and had a wonderful cup of coffee - actually two. I did not experience any attitude from the staff; they were very friendly and outgoing. I had a pastry that was very cold, but delicious. The historic building and sharp furnishings added to the experience. A great start to the day. I will definitely stop back in the next time I'm in Peoria. If I lived here, I would stop every day. A real coffee diamond in the rough here.

Hugely disappointed with this place. Ordered a double espresso with a splash of hot water and was told "no". Against "store policy". Okay. How about a double espresso with a cup of hot water on the side. "No." Won't give out hot water. An espresso and a cup of hot tea but I'll put the teabag in? "No." Apparently, that would satisfy the customer and....we can't have that? Okay. I would like to order an Americano but leave half a cup for me to add cream. "No." Why? Well, this would "compromise the integrity" of their beverage menu. Say what? (Read: owners don't have any confidence in their employees beyond filling drink orders like robots). Better off going to Starbucks.....

$4.00 for a Fretta Iced Coffee? What is this Manhattan, New York City? No, its not its Peoria, Illinois. Come on man I don't want to pay half of what I make an hour on a cup of coffee. I am pretty sure that the dude that makes it probably has a BA or even a grad school degree but I don't think I am going to come back. I have too much respect for the American Dollar to spend 4 on some ice coffee in small town Peoria. It could be a cool place if we re-look at the prices.

Enjoyed a Fall Spice latte last week...amazing. They do the spice/flavoring blend from scratch (as far as I can tell, since the barista was able to tell me all the spices in the recipe when I ordered); not from a pre-made syrup or mix that more than likely is artificially flavored. Plus, even though ThirtyThirty sells a higher caliber latte, it's really no more expensive than at one of my other favorite coffee venues.

I always enjoy visiting local shops when I travel (which is a lot), but the staff at this shop seem to want to be difficult for the sake of being difficult. After asking for two large lattes with 4 shots each, I was told they don't make large lattes, only the medium size. Okay - kind of dumb, but - "let me have two medium lattes with three shots each please". "No, we can only pull double shots". I asked to split one double shot among the two lattes (thus making each a triple) and was told "no". I ordered two fairly weak medium lattes to go and started to leave, when my pre-caffeinated brain started to work. I went back to the counter and asked for a double espresso to go and was told "no" they don't serve espresso to go - "it's their policy". Just ridiculous - no one's coffee is that good...

Being originally from the Chicago area, I have been accustomed to hating on Peoria a little bit. While a lot of downtown Peoria can be slightly depressing (on the scale between 1 to 10, 10 being life-threateningly depressing, downtown can sometimes reach a 5), this little gem makes going downtown worth while. Thirty-Thirty is a really fun place to get coffee!!! They have their "line" organized in such a cute way, there's a cashier, followed by a brew technician (the person doing the pour-over coffee) and finally, a barista taking care of the espresso-related orders. I got an iced "miel" latte, which is an iced latte flavored with honey and cinnamon. Seriously, this was amazing, and something that I hadn't had before. The atmosphere was inviting enough to make me want to stay a while, but unfortunately, this was not an option for me. I wish I could go back to try more of their awesome drinks and coffee.

30/30 is a great jem for Peoria; the location helps feed the buzz of downtown, the atmosphere and ambiance is still true to coffee shop roots, and let's not forget the coffee! Great lengths are taken to make sure the coffee comes directly from farmers (and fairly), and all the beans are roasted on-site. I can totally understand why yahoo rated them as one of the top 6 roasters in America. I could easily see this place in Chicago, or New York, but no, we have it here in Peoria. People complain about prices going up for local places in Peoria, but do we really want to be a campy chain city? I will gladly pay a higher price for a good cup of coffee I know was brought to me ethically with care. The baristas are knowledgeable and friendly and there are occasionally local musicians playing there as well. I'm happy to have a place like this in Peoria and will gladly return as often as I can!

If you like Hipsters than you'll love Thirty-Thirty. It's definitely a cool old corner building. Coffee is a little over priced. The rave about the pour-over, but it certainly doesn't beat a french press. Overall good place.

  • Rish A.

They are a bit "coffee nazi" regarding what additions you can make to the beverage, but that's probably for the best. Their coffee is an art and they don't want people like me mucking it up by dumping 1/2 a cup of syrup and sugar in it. I ordered an iced soy latte and it tasted delicious. My friend had the macchiato, which is what I tried to screw up by asking for it iced, and syruped. It's basically half espresso and milk. Very strong. I probably wouldn't order it myself, but if you are an espresso enthusiast, this just might be your cup.

Love this place! My good friend and I came here tonight to try it out and left very satisfied! It reminds me of when coffee shops first got their popularity in the 90's... First off, this is a true, genuine, coffee shop! The owners roast their own coffee, make their own syrups, & have very talented baristas (who make flowers on your latte like you are in Italy). I had a caffe miel w/ soy milk which was delicious! My friend had one of their coffee's..can't remember the name, but on the list says it has notes of a blueberry muffin..yum! We sat for hours discussing life, love, and everything under the sun (this is what you do in a cool, chill, coffee shop) and felt very happy with our experience. We will be back!

It should be known that I tend to, as a Chicagoan, judge very harshly everything downstate of my fair city. I come to Peoria expecting to hate it, and, with little exception, I do. But it should also be known that I am back at thirty thirty coffee for the second time today. I'm not sure I've ever visited the same cafe twice in one day ever in my life. Such is the nature of their homemade signature syrup, the molasses ginger!!! I've had the latte both iced and hot and I'm still a little bowled over by the intensity of my feelings of adoration. This place has a great ambiance and interior, nice downtown location, blah blah blah... It's all about the syrup, baby. They also do the classic drinks and a lot of pour-overs, it's 'that' mind of coffee place which sort of makes me feel guilty for ordering a flavored latte. But, when I heard they make their own syrups and i heard the words ginger molasses, it was a done deal. A lot of people are ordering the miel latte as well, if I can ever tear myself away from this molassesy, gingery heaven I look forward to trying it. Free parking right outside.

Visited Thirty-Thirty Coffee last Friday, the day after Thanksgiving on a business trip to Peoria. I have a fair amount of perspective on coffee, traveling roughly half of the year, having been to Europe, Central America, and most of the US States. Thirty-Thirty is top notch. I give five stars because of the whole package: FIRST, the coffee is impeccable; not only do these guys know what they are talking about and know how to match you tastes with their selections, they brew a superior product. I had one of the pour-over coffees and the quality was perfect - amazing flavor and intensity; just right. SECOND, the prices are right. Places like this (this amount of coffee savvy, ambiance, etc) in other parts of the country might charge double these prices. No, I'm not saying they should raise their prices - this is Peoria after all. But keep your prices reasonable for a superior product and customers will continue to come back and new ones will come! THIRD, I really enjoyed with the ambiance. The space is fairly spacious with a variety of very comfortable seating options and features lots of wood with character - the counters, several of the tables, chairs. Nice decoration without pretense and some exquisitely preserved brick walls to boot. My only minor complaint in this department was the music was a touch loud, but with several different rooms available, I was able to find a quieter area. FOURTH, the staff here, especially the owners, are great. Inviting, open, friendly, and knowledgeable, they really feel passionate about coffee and about this new space and make new customers feel right at home. Kudos for a job well done, Thirty-thirty. Check this place out if you love coffee and want to support a great new local business! I will be back!

First off, this is a super friendly bunch folks. Second, their coffee is freshly roasted in-house and is really out of this world. Take your time, because it is truly an experience. I always drink it in the cup which is the best. And of course they pre-heat the cups with hot water. Lots of choices in drinks. Super clean and classy environment.

I recently visited thirty-thirty on a trip to Peoria. Now in all fairness I can be a bit of a coffee snob. Was the coffee I had the best coffee ever? No. Would I go back? Yes. Now usually I like honey in my coffee as opposed to sugar. However they didn't have honey so I chose the raw sugar. So maybe that's the reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. On a good not though the owner was super cool and very knowledgeable about the beans and the products they were selling. Also the staff was great and knew a good deal about the beans and the roast. I really hope this place does well... I think it will as it was pretty busy when I was there. I like that they had the Jumer's bear in the front. Free trivia... The bear used to be white but Jumer's had a fire and the bear had damage so they dyed him black.

Great atmosphere! Coffee was good, the tea was tasty. I don't think their large coffee size is large compared to most places so I had to have more than one cup. There's no refills or discount for a second cup, so that made it a lil pricey for just two coffees. I'll be back from time to time :)

Best coffee shop in Peoria, hands down. The espresso based drinks are handled with care and the baristas weigh their shots for accuracy! I highly recommend a cappuccino, pour over, or a double shot of both their house and guest espresso (to compare notes). Just as a forewarning, when the shop gets super swamped it can take upwards of 10 minutes to get your drink. It's worth it! Whenever I come to Peoria I always make a point to visit Thirty-Thirty.

I had to be in Peoria for business and boy am I glad I found this place. I was not expecting to find legit espresso in this area... but I did, and it was awesome. The espresso kicked ass. It was rich, chocolatey, with balanced acidity. They served it with a side of soda water and I always appreciate when coffee places are good enough to do this. Very good coffee. I also got a morning glory muffin and a cinnamon roll. Both of these kicked some damn ass. The pastries here are top-notch as well. Service was very friendly. If you're in the Peoria area and need a fix of coffee, this place is the real deal holyfield.

Very cool coffee place! The building is cool and decor inviting. It feels so spacious. The baristas take coffee seriously and perfect their craft. I let them talk me into getting the special latte of the house which has honey and cinnamon in it. It was great! This will be a regular stop when in town. If you live here, you are lucky- go everyday!!

Amazing coffee and even better atmosphere. This is the ultimate place in Peoria to meet up with friends and hang out. The staff are all wonderful people and they book some really great shows, definitely the best place in town to see local & national artists in a super intimate environment. Deserves all the stars!

I love this place! I always come here with my dad when I'm back in Peoria. I like their miel latte, and my dad likes their vanilla lattes. They have very good tea too, my brother got their mate with honey once when I came here with him. I'll always keep coming back to this place and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants some good coffee!

We love Thirty-Thirty. We have sampled most of the coffee and tea drinks and find them all well made and of great value. This is not Starbucks, and this is not greasy spoon coffee. This is coffee made by people who know and love coffee. The only lack I have found at Thirty-Thirty is the loud brash tones coming from the occasional live music on weekends. I understand the acoustic nightmare of old buildings like this, but sometimes the PA is loud, and/or completely unnecessary. Overall, this is one of our absolute favorite hang outs!

This, is what a coffee shop should be. This is one of the better jewels that the Peoria area has to offer and is a fine example of the third wave coffee scene. While they can come off as a tad bit pretentious, especially to someone whose only experience is limited to grandma's Maxwell House, truck stop coffee, or mass produced factory coffee houses such as Starbucks, they are actually very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to educate. They micro roast all their coffee there fresh every few days, (I have never bought beans there that were more than a couple of day off roast), and they are usually a real nice light roast level, a nice tan color, probably right around first crack, but not quite city roast. I would guess right around the caramelazation temperature. Their coffees generally have a really clean bright finish with lots of fruity, lemon, and dried tomato overtones. I'm not real cognizant of their entire menu as I generally get a straight pour over. They utilize several different pour over techniques depending on the size you order and all the baristas are knowledgeable, skilled, and all cups are weighed for both coffee, and water. The bar is large as is the seating area with options for singles, large groups, private room, or couches. It is a repurposed industrial type space with tall ceilings, wood floors and lots of Windows, giving a huge open feel. They have a comprehensive selection of proper coffee making paraphernalia available for purchase. Oh, and they have an eight foot stuffed American Black Bear at the back side entrance. One last note to make is the espresso. While the shots they have pulled for me I felt have been a wee bit on the bitter side (personal preference), they are not only excellent, but come with a shot of soda water to "cleanse your palate" between sips; true purists! Once you experience that truly perfect cup of coffee, you will never be the same...

Amazing. The coffee, the service, the recommendations, the location. All of it. If you want a big-city feel in a coffee shop, here's your spot. Don't pass up trying the miel.. It NEVER disappoints.. hot or cold. The seasonal drinks are usually outstanding as well. They do have a small menu - but that just forces the focus of the baristas' talent on the drinks they do offer. My only reason for 4 stars is the hours. Morning is great - but the 8pm closing time is sometimes rough. I am a night owl & I spend many evenings sitting in coffee shops til 9 or 10 on weeknights.

Excellent espresso and interestingly decorated coffee house for hanging out. The only thing is you'll end up smelling like roasted coffee because the roaster isn't completely separated from the seating areas (but that's not necessarily a bad thing...)

Love love love this place! I've been here twice in the handful of times that I have visited Peoria and the qualit yof the coffee is amazing. I also love the hipster ambiance and the friendly employees. I feel like this place could be in the middle of Portland, Oregon. Wish I would have tried the miel latte but I like my coffee black and it didn't need anything added. Keep up the great work!

The coffee is, of course, phenomenal. Everyone knows that. What you might not know is that the tea is awesome, too. This is one of the only places I've ever been that actually brews different teas differently in order to bring out their best flavor. They don't just plop a bag in scalding water and hand it over - they actually monitor the water temperature and brew time, and give it to you when it's done - a perfect cup every time, and no soggy hot tea bag mess for you to deal with. :) The front area closer to Main can get very strong-smelling in the afternoon when they're roasting beans, but I happen to enjoy that. If you don't, you might want to avoid sitting up there at those times. And the hours are kind of disappointing for a night owl like me. But this is still my favorite place to hang out when I'm in the neighborhood :)

A co-worker recommend this place as the "coffee drinkers coffee shop" (she now regrets the recommendation). It started off well enough - cute place, line moving quickly, and I was already making plans to come back for an afternoon and evening coffee. I make my way to the front to place my order 6 shots of espresso over ice. The kid at the counter looks at me blankly and says 'we don't do that'. What!? You make espresso drinks- but you 'cant' (won't) make the drink I'm asking for!? This is the opposite of what most people would call customer service. Clearly this is a policy that is lorded over the employees as every time I asked if they could just pour 6 shots of espresso over ice (minimal effort drink here) the response I got was I don't want to loose my job lady. I have to wonder about a place that would actually fire employees for accommodating a "less water" drink request "to protect product quality". Lets talk about the drink quality: on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give this drink a 2. It was FAR FAR to watered down for my taste, and only pushed forward the more bitter flavors, vs smoother nuances of the coffee bean. And honestly it had the potential to be a 10+. I can tell the beans are quality beans and roasted with love and attention and at peek flavor. So way for the love of christ would you water down this blessed nectar to what amounts to coffee flavored piss? It that really the quality your looking for? I wasn't. With a very heavy heart I must tell you to take your coffee needs to Starbucks. It's burnt and tastes like ash tray but at least it's coffee and fairly consistent, and not a cup of dissatisfaction and disappointment surrounded by faux hipster attitude.

This is definitely the best coffee shop in town. The pour over method makes a great cup of coffee and they have excellent lattes. I love their iced lattes. The line can get long here during peak times, so plan ahead. Service is always friendly. My only complaint is I wish they had more food options. I work nearby and would probably come here more often if there was a bigger variety of food. In fact- if there were bagels, I would live here.

The coffee is good and this review will not debate that. What this review is about is the staff, their knowledge and their attitude. I visited one evening with my wife on a cold March weekend. The shop was closing in 30min and we had walked from the convention center to the shop. When I arrived the door was locked and as I looked in the young barista shook her head giving me a no signal. I responded by pointing at my watch and then their hours posted on the door. She looked disgusted as she emerged from behind the counter and unlocked the door. It was warm inside, the decor was really good with coffee art and other similar accouterments on the walls. It was a nice place. We asked about their coffee. Apparently we had 2 tired and frustrated employees who wanted nothing more than to finish cleaning and to leave. We were cold and had heard great things about the coffee, we even said as much anticipating a fantastic coffee experience and hoping for something akin to Intelligentsia. WRONG. These ladies wanted us gone and repeatedly said the were just closing up. Unfortunately for them, I wanted coffee. To which one of the ladies relented and made 2 cups. The coffee was okay, but nothing great. Perhaps at this moment our palets were tainted by the rudeness in the air. I asked a few questions - was the coffee fair trade or free trade, what was the brewing temp, describe the flavor notes or how they roasted their beans. Each answer was an IDK. Too bad - Apparently there is no reason to return. Thirty-Thirty Coffee does not care about the enthusiast or the cold customer.

Great Coffee shop. The employees are kind and the coffee taste great. The decor is neat, and it stays pretty warm in the winter time. I can't ask for anything more. I usually get a pour over coffee served black . I tried the Ecuador blend. Really good flavor with no bitterness. REALLY good. My wife recently had their Banana-rama cappuccino. Tasted awesome, not overly sweet. They also have a some sweet bakery items. All good, but nothing Only thing I could complain about, and it's a minor complaint, is the location. It sits on the corner of an intersection. Once of those streets is a one way. So depending on what direction you are coming from, it can be a little inconvenient pulling into the parking lot. Would be nice if the parking lot had a second entrance on the opposite side. But again, that's minor and not completely in their control. I have been here multiple time and will keep coming back.

Thirty-Thirty is hands down, THE best coffee I've had anywhere. Period. Finito. This space is beautiful, located in a historic building at the tip of downtown Peoria. Thirty-Thirty Coffee's offerings are nationally ranked! And their coffee is being infused into special batches of Left Hand Brewing Company's milk stout. How cool is that? While coffee doesn't have the same kind of "rock star" appeal as, say, beer does, Ty and company definitely know their craft. I remember when he worked at a different place on the NW side of town, he'd always talk about the art of coffee roasting, and how it made all the difference. What I perceived to be coffee nerdery before, is now clearly a passion he's had all along, and it shows in the work. The staff is hip, the place is great for gathering, and it's become a staple of downtown. Say hi to Minus the Bear on the way in, and prepare yourself to be blown away.

Beautiful little macchiato with a different-in-a-pleasant-way flavor (smokier?) than most espressos. Even got some latte art in the cup, although that means I got a little more milk than I typically prefer in a macchiato ... but we're splitting hairs here. Distinctive espresso, trendy and comfortable atmosphere. Did I mention you get a little glass of seltzer water to go along with your macchiato? When I asked about it, they said it was intended as a palate cleanser. Classy move, Thirty-Thirty.

3030 is pretty rad as far as Peoria goes. The atmosphere/clientele that has developed there is sometimes a turn off, but they have great drinks and the staff are really, really Great. Especially Trey. Everyone loves Trey.

Good place to meet up with friends and gets quite busy throughout the That is a good sign that this place serves decent coffee! I think that the drinks here are better than a comparable chain establishment. My rating is based on my experience of sitting here for two hours and the 12oz latte. Overall, the staff are super friendly and not bring from Peoria...visiting here would be a safe bet. Cheers!

I've been coming to Thirty-Thirty since they opened in 2011 and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly, interior is very chill and relaxing, and the drinks are awesome! If you ever have any questions regarding anything coffee related, ask one of the baristas. Each employee is very knowledgeable in their craft and are always willing to chat.

  • Stacey L.

Wow. Thirty-Thirty handled a crowd with ease and served up some of the most flavorful, expertly brewed coffee I've ever tasted. They are friendly and willing to explain the differences between origins, roasts, and brewing methods. I can't recommend this place enough!

Went in for a hot chocolate, waited 20 minutes and the barista was extremely rude. I felt like they thought they were so cool, but it's not cool or fun having to wait for 20 minutes for a small hot chocolate. It wasn't like I didn't hear them call it out either, I watched the entire time. It was busy, but it is still unacceptable. Never going back.

It's what coffee and tea should taste, smell, and look like! Kudos to you for knowing how to roast and make drinks the right way! I really enjoyed the whole atmosphere and setting. The live music, giant life-sized black bear, physical location, fixtures and furniture pulled the whole look together. Plus, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Thirty-Thirty Coffee, you'll be on my list of excursions from now on when I visit Peoria!

I love Thirty-Thirty. It's really the best coffee I've had. The atmosphere is great and it's a good place to work if you can manage to get a table. My favorite is the cafe miel, but the latte is great and they also do a very tasty hot chocolate. They roast their own, so you can definitely enjoy the coffee in your own kitchen your own way if you don't want to try something they have to offer. This place is a local gem. Occasionally, they'll serve Katic pastries in the morning, but don't count on it. They're usually gone by 11.

Finally, a really good place to get coffee in Peoria, Illinois. I spend a lot of time here....the coffee and tea is great, the baristas are nice, and the atmosphere is amazing. A great spot to hang out with friends or get some work done.

These guys make the second best Chemex-brewed coffee in town (second only to mine). Kidding, of course. One barista was actually kind enough to give me a tip on pourovers. I hear so much about the pretentiousness of this place, although I have never experienced it. No, they will not make you a diarrhea mocha fart chip crappuccino (even if you say please), but Thirty-Thirty understands that proper coffee beans (aka ones better than Starbucks) don't need to be drowned in a sea of syrup to be tasty. Their miel, Chemex brews and cappuccinos are all delicious. The ambiance is great for studying and the beans are the best in the area. Check it out and don't let the marks of "pretentiousness" turn you away, because I and several others who visit have been greeted with nothing but kind Midwestern hospitality. Give it a shot, coffee lovers.

I live in San Francisco and am accustomed to some crazy antics when it comes to baristas and hipster coffee shops. This place takes the cake. Baristas need to remember that they aren't serving a fine tasting menu prepared by a chef with years of study. While I enjoy sitting down and enjoying an espresso drink out of a real cup as much as the next guy, sometimes a person is on a tactical caffeine mission. If a customer is willing to give money for a cappuccino to go, take the money. A latte in my case would have broken my fast. The least this shop could do for the patrons in this depressing town is to cater to their out of town customers, who I am sure give them a fair amount of business. I don't care how supposedly good (the quality is average at best in reality) the coffee beans and brewing techniques are, I will not be supporting these pompous people again.

There are four things I really love in this world: bears, block windows, beards, and coffee, and Thirty Thirty has all of these things. I had a cherry stout latte and it was the best coffee concoction I've ever tasted. Seriously. Love the decor and the brew. The wait was a little long but so worth it. Best spot in Peoria.

I visited this place today and now really wished I lived in Peoria... if only to go to this coffee shop everyday. Yeah, I was that impressed. The space if great for studying with couches and tables for whatever your study needs are, and the drink I got - the miel latte - was also awesome. Plus, there is a stuffed bear on display. Pretty cool.

With a love for coffee and experience working at Caribou Coffee for a little while I started out 2014 with the mission to visit all of the coffee shops in my area. After visiting a few, I thought why not write reviews and share my thoughts on each of them. So here we are... without any further ado let's dive right in to my unbiased review of Thirty-Thirty Coffee. Location and Ambiance: Location was solid, and ambiance was great (loved the bear). Coffee: I'll get right to the point, the coffee was really delicious! I went with a group and they did a great job explaining all the different options to the whole group! Staff: The staff was super nice, and very knowledgeable. In summary, definitely stop by! Its worth a trip. :) Thanks, Connor Brady

Hands down best coffee in Peoria. Employees tend to be coffee snobs but I don't mind. While their coffee is outstanding, it is a particular flavor of coffee and not the only one that exists. As much as I hate to admit it, sometimes the burnt flavor of a Starbucks coffee is what I need. That being said, Thirty-Thirty has a unique acidic taste that is very well rounded. They will offer most drinks to-go except their espresso which they have so much pride in that they will not sell it to go. I prefer the Red-Eye coffee which they always frown at me ordering...but since the customer is always right, I don't care what they think. They also have a limited selection of pastries. The shop is a fun place to have a small work meeting or just to enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, it is the best coffee shop in Peoria.

Neat location in an old building. Good, comfortable space. They roast their own coffee, and the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they only have light roasts, and my husband is a medium/dark roast person. I followed the crowd, and had the Iced Meil Latte, which was delicious!

Going on a third visit in two days while on sales calls in the Peoria area. Excellent find and thanks to Yelp. Reminded me as far as the coffee and looks of Madcap Coffee in Grand Rapids. Very hip place in a kinda of sleepy area of downtown Peoria with a slightly darker decor and younger staff than Madcap. A beautiful building outside and in where they did a fantastic job of keeping everything for the most part the original factory look - tall lofted ceilings with exposed brick and a modern industrial vibe going on with lots of big windows, thick sturdy wood tables, a couple of booths and some coaches and chairs. This place was also surprisingly huge with many areas to sit. A wide variety of clientele from professionals to students to locals and arty/hipster types. The place is loud and they play their music a little louder than most places - but they also had a "quiet room" if you needed a little more solace. Yes, if you stay at this place long enough with the roasters in basically the same room - they're off in the corner in a little room with a door that's always open - you will smell like you took a dive in the coffee roaster itself. As another reviewer said, "not necessarily a bad thing though." Excellent and friendly service and was impressed how they were always maintaining and keeping the place clean. Another reviewer commented that this place lacks much of an assortment of food which I agree and was kinda bummed out as well - about an assortment of 6 muffins and some danish - I'm not sure what I was hoping for like maybe some protein bars, oatmeal and/or a simple sandwich? It didn't ruin my experience not impact my review. They do what they do best - coffee and that's why you should go.

My favorite coffee shop in Peoria! Thirty-Thirty is a hip, modern, and relatively upscale coffee shop that offers great tasting coffee and pastries. During my visit I ordered a cappuccino and some raspberry pastry. From my experience in Peoria, this was the best tasting coffee I've had in the city. The seating area was vast and WiFi is available so it's also a great place to come and read a book or study.

Very nice shop, friendly folks and they make a mean cup of whatever you want! Only bummer is they don't really have any decent snacks to go with. No biscotti. No muffins. No health choices just some slimy rolls and cookies from a local place. Partner with a local healthy bakery and you'll add to the bottom line as well as bring more smiles to your customers. Last thing you want is people leaving to go get a bite rather than staying for another capp or miel.

Cheers!

Wonderful coffee shop in Peoria, though it feels like it belongs somewhere else. Lovely tea, good prices, great employees. Used to frequent for work meetings and definitely one of the things I miss most about Peoria! Spiced apple chai is a must:)

Great spot-chai teas are delicious! Cinnamon rolls and muffins are great as well. Love the atmosphere and the staff is always very friendly. If you visit Peoria this is a spot you need to check out!

  • Stacey L.

Awesome place. My wife and I have our daughter at OSF and Thirty thirty is a great find in Peoria. The coffee is roasted on site and they have a few methods of brewing that you can choose, I prefer Chemex Great find great coffee.

Amazing coffee and even better atmosphere. This is the ultimate place in Peoria to meet up with friends and hang out.

Good cheap coffee, customer service and decor. The giant bear up-front is freaky but the art on display is really cool.

Can hold its own against any shop anywhere (sorry to my Austin and NY favorites)! Get the pour over or aero press and don't put anything in it. Dan, Ty, and the crew import and roast quality beans from around the world and know their stuff!

When you want coffee done right, this is the place to go. A great place, with a crowd of all ages. If you are lucky you can even catch live local talent performing on the weekends. If you drive by early in the morning you will probably see me with a cup of coffee walking to work at the hospital next door.

Finally, a really good place to get coffee in Peoria, Illinois. I spend a lot of time here....the coffee and tea is great, the baristas are nice, and the atmosphere is amazing. A great spot to hang out with friends or get some work done.

  • Steve S.

I don't have anything to say different than what David T wrote. I also had the pour over coffee. It was the best coffee I've ever had without a doubt. The ham and cheese croissant was also fantastic. I highly recommend this place.

Love it! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the baristas are fun and knowledgeable. It's obvious that they love what they do. It's refreshing to have excellent coffee served by someone with a smile, rather than a shrug or a frown. Thirty-Thirty is worth the trip downtown for the best coffee (and tea) in Peoria!

thirty-thirty Coffee Co. has it all. Delicious, high-quality coffee, an amazing atmosphere, and a staff that actually knows what they're doing and is equally friendly. It's refreshing to find a place that doesn't compromise on quality, taste and presentation just to save a buck or save time. The staff is passionate about coffee and love what they're doing and it adds to your coffee experience. If you're wanting a place to study, meet a friend or read a book and cozy up with an amazing coffee then PLEASE!! give thirty-thirty a try.

Rolled in from out of town and trusted fellow Yelpers to find good local coffee. This place is a hit. Friendly clean great service and amazing coffee. I tried the miel with almond milk. Holy smokes I'm in love. Free wifi and comfy surroundings put thirty-thirty on my regular joints list.

As a Seattelite, I wasn't too sure about this place, but a friend insisted. Had just a drip coffee and was very impressed. I highly recommend trying their single origin from Costa Rica :) Environment was warm and inviting and was a great place to catch up with friends.

Neat location in an old building. Good, comfortable space. They roast their own coffee, and the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they only have light roasts, and my husband is a medium/dark roast person. I followed the crowd, and had the Iced Meil Latte, which was delicious!

This place is one of the few places in Peoria that has almond milk. This means I can have all my favorite coffee drinks again. Atmosphere is urban. The art is local. And sometimes they have great live performances

    (4)
  • Jennie C.

Excellent espresso and interestingly decorated coffee house for hanging out. The only thing is you'll end up smelling like roasted coffee because the roaster isn't completely separated from the seating areas (but that's not necessarily a bad thing...)

  • Emily S.

Great spot-chai teas are delicious! Cinnamon rolls and muffins are great as well. Love the atmosphere and the staff is always very friendly. If you visit Peoria this is a spot you need to check out!

High on pretentiousness, low on quality. After a couple sips of the ice late, considering tossing it in trash.
