Just what I was looking for. Great pizza, they definitely don't skimp on the cheese! Garlic cheese bread was also delightful. Staff was very pleasant. Will definitely come back when in the Chicago area.

Service is always good here and generally not a long wait. Pizza is very inconstant, it can either be delicious or burnt to a crisp and almost inedible. Seems if they are busy the quality of the food goes down.

We Lay it on THICK! - - - Their tag-line says it all. Beggars is one of my favorite thing crust pizza options because they simply pile on the toppings. Most places try to skimp out on the topping to save money but not at Beggars. I've never actually eaten here so I can't speak to their atmosphere, but I can tell you that their pizza is awesome!

Wow! I wish they had Beggars Pizza in the NW surburbs. We stopped by to get a large cheese pizza while in the area. I love this pizza. It has lots of flavor and it is very cheesy. Yum! The large size pizza was a little smaller than expected, but it is excellent! Come north and sponsor the Cubbies too! :P

Pizza was better than expected. Went in to try the deep dish slices but got there after 3 pm and apparently 3 pm is the end of single deep dish slices. Traveling alone so didn't need a small pizza to myself. Opted for the thin crust sausage slice. Very good flavors. Good amount of cheese and sausage topping. I would love to go back one day to try the deep dish.

I'm not 100% sure this is 5 stars all the time. It was 5 stars for me though. We ordered a sausage, garlic, spinach and extra mushroom thin crust the other night. It was amazing! I can't believe I have never been to this location. This is definitely one of my main pizza places now. They put so much cheese on it. Love it. They get extra points for being friendly when I walked in to pick up. We ordered it really late and I actually didn't even get there until a few minutes after closing time. The staff was still really nice and helpful.

Being from Phoenix, we don't usually do deep dish or Chicago thin crust. I have to say, Beggar's was one of the best I've had in both categories. It's also a great place to relax and watch the Hawks while having a cold beer from their nice selection of brews. I will go back if I'm ever in the area.

Delicious pizza....ridiculously HIGH price. $31 for ONE family sized pizza...crazy...only order on payday!!! :-)

Not good. Stopped in for a slice for lunch 30 minutes after they opened and I swear they heated up old pizza from last night. It's the only thing that can explain why pizza that was only put out 20 minutes ago was dried out and tasteless. Do yourself a favor... If you're in the mood for Beggar's, get it from another location.

Always love a Beggars Pizza whether we order one or I stop in for a quick slice.

So I walk in to pick up a pizza and find myself talking to some high school kids that work there. Apparently Rick and Sandy just broke up because Sandy cheated on Rick with Matt. I wasn't ready for all this gossip so I stepped outside for a breath of fresh air while still waiting for my pizza. I walk in the second time and Rick gave me my pizza and told me to have a great day! Although the gossip was lame and the kids suck that work here. The pizza was ok..... I like pizza hut better!!!! Staff is all stuck up and think they are big dawgs or something. Although I don't like this place its convenient since I live at the super 8 motel next door. Go for the gossip not the food.

Beggars more like cheggars there is way to much salt on my pizz not enough spicy ranch dressing and the side dip tasted like my great grandpas face it's disgusting then I saw this guy in there that smelled like a hobo rubbed on him then he pooped his pants! EW! Then the worst part was at the counter was my step dad garret! EWW!

Excellent pizza, wings not so much. Seating decent for the location. Loyal to the community and accommodating for teams.

Took the family and some friends there for dinner a few nights ago. Ordered the appetizer platter and a couple of pizzas. Service was okay, started strong but as the meal wore on our server paid less and less attention to us. And the place was virtually empty, only 2 other tables were occupied. The appetizers were basically the frozen kind you buy at Sams Club and the meat raviolis tasted freezer burned. Our pizza was bland and not what I was used to from Beggars. The food quality has definitely dropped off from years past. Combine that with the fact that it is some of the most expensive pizza around I don't ever need to go back.

My family and I have been here many times. The pizza is good, not great. The restaurant area is, well, seems as though someone bought the building and started making food. The bar area is smaller. I will say we always have a good time, the beer is always cold and this is a nice family joint to have dinner and not break the bank.

Good buffet with a nice thin crust, though not a very impressive crust, the good comes from the loads of delicious cheese on it.

We got a pizza here last night and it was awesome. Our family has always liked the pizza. Its a little pricey but worth it. I always use a coupon.

I have been coming to Beggars Pizza for years!!! This last time was a great experience just like everytime before this. My aunt and I came her before our Sugarland concert, well actually before our hotel room was ready to get a few drinks and then meet up with friends to eat. We sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and fast. She let us know that they had pitchers of beer on special for $5.00, can't pass that up. We ordered a pitcher and then it was time for us to check into the hotel...boy was I sad. We ended up coming back the next day to eat, since I talked about the pizza pretty much all night my Aunt said now she had to try it!! We started off with curly cheese fries, they were huge, spicy and hot!! The three of us did not finish them so we could save room for the pizza. I got a small 10 inch mushroom pizza. There pizza is the cheesiest pizza I've ever had....I LOVE IT. The mushrooms were not fresh, I was kinda bummed about this, but still really good. They are a littttttle pricey for their pizza, but I think they get to be when it is this good, they also have coupons if you are planning on going there, sadly we werent so I didnt bring mine. If you have never tried it, you gotta go!!! I cant wait tilI I'm back in the area to get some more!!!

Been ordering here on and off for awhile and today we ordered for delivery and the pizza had no taste whatsoever...bland, chewy crust and the ingredients had no flavor at all..we are usually impressed with the amount of cheese they use, but not today...will be sticking with our neighborhood Cobblestone from here on out!!

Best pizza in the area, horrible customer service, seems like mostly high school kids working here. They have the worst buffet set-up ever, scary salad bar, soggy pasta and fried food bar and one of those rotating pizza warmer display things. The pizza is hard to get because they skimp on the crust for the buffet, very droopy pizza.

I have been eating Beggar's pizza since shortly after the original one opened up on Western Av in Blue Island. I have ate at the mokena restaurant since they opened also and have always been a big fan, but somewhere along the way the Mokena location started using lesser quality ingredients. I had a Italian beef last week and was amazed at the quality of the beef. I would compare it to low quality deli counter beef. When I picked up the food I also noticed they have the Barilla pasta sauce logo next to their pasta selections in the pickup area. What kind of pizza/Italian restaurant uses jar sauce?? I know times are tough but come on Beggar's it's time to step up your game or you've lost a longtime customer.

We live in Tinley, lots of choices for good pizza, but few have the consistency and flavor for Beggars. We make the trip for the pizza, and it's still piping hot when we get it home. Plenty of ingredients, 4-5 slices can fill you up. Normal order for our family is a large sausage and mushroom, and a medium sausage, mushroom, green pepper, and onion. We tried a special pie for a Blackhawks game, roast beef and giardiniera - what a change, and what a great flavor. Dining in is a good experience as well, but get there early, it get packed pretty quick. The price is fair, but we almost always use a coupon anywhere we go, including at Beggars.

This is the first time that I have eaten in here and probably the last. It was pretty nice inside and quite empty. The pizza is the only thing that I have ever eaten from here. But I was hungry and wanted something a little quicker. That didn't happen. I ordered a combo with a side of mushrooms and my buddy had the taco burger. It took longer than a pizza to come out. The ladies that come in after us got served first. When my sandwich came out the waitress brought me a little cup of raw mushrooms? I said excuse me it was probably my fault! I wanted the fried shrooms. She came back with the same cup 5 minutes later, but they were sauted in oil? Hence the fried that I asked for! So I had to speak a little slower, I want the Fried Appetizer Mushrooms! Ohhh! She came back when we were almost finished with our meal and said that everyone was making fun of her! The beef was really good. The sausage was a bit dry. The taco burger was a pass as were the late to the party shrooms. I did not see that she charged us for both the wrong and the right mushrooms. I'll stick with the pie's to go!

Is it good pizza? Hell yes! Only problem is is that I dropped $40 for a pizza, 3 drinks and an appetizer. For 3 people? I don't think so.

we've ordered from here at my office, and the food is pretty good. not the best pizza I've ever had (I have some local favorites), but still yummy. expect a lot of toppings, especially when it comes to the cheese.

On the way to the Jimmy Buffett concert we decided to stop for a pizza and we're glad we stopped here. To start off the place was spotlessly clean...a terrific first impression, secondly we were greeted by Jackie with a big smile and a welcome. Soon we had our drinks and mozzarella sticks....everything was great with the exception of the Mecum car auction being shown on a TV not viewable from our table. What happened next was Super Jackie sprang into action and had the manager change the channel to accommodate my request. It only got better from there....the pizza was excellent...service was great and even signed up for their rewards program to boot. We will gladly return!!

After a yen for a chicken pizza led me to the TRAVESTY that is Wooden Paddle Pizza a few weeks ago, I figured I'd give ANOTHER neighborhood spot a shot. Couldn't be happier that I did. Pretty generous toppings on a decent crust, what more could you ask for? Even the teenyboppers behind he counter were polite and professional (good pizza makes EVERYTHING seem better, doesn't it?).

My husband and I have been fans of Beggar's thin crust and gluten free pizza for a long time now. Last month we hired them to cater a large party for us. We received so many compliments on the food! It was a huge hit. We ordered over $700 in food: lasagnas, baked most, garlic bread, sausage, Italian beef, and family size pizzas. The portions were bigger than advertised and they even gave us a lot of extra garlic bread for free. The order was delivered on time and very hot, and the delivery guy helped us set up. (They don't charge for set up, and delivery is only $3 no matter how huge the order!). I have zero complaints about this location. Thanks again- you guys made our party a huge hit!!!

I have a Beggars Pizza near me in Alsip that I usually order pizza from. This location is near my work, so of course, the boyfriend and I decided to go here for lunch. I'd heard from coworkers that they have a lunch buffet and thought we'd find some vegetarian options since we do not eat meat. I was wrong about that. They had a half pizza of cheese up there and we'd probably have fought each for the whole half to ourselves. So we sat and just ordered a pizza of our own. I should add the buffet was really, really small. But so we got a thin crust (I was on lunch and didn't have time to wait for deep dish) with giardiniera and mushrooms. The waitress said it'd take less time because they weren't busy. But it took almost exactly 30 minutes. Oh well, we ate fast and asked for boxes and the check while we were still eating. The waitress took 15 minutes to bring the check over, so we were a little annoyed about our experience. Overall the pizza was good and we'd probably avoid here for lunch time (unless we order in advance).

For some reason, the pizza made at this location doesn't compare to the plethora of pizzas that my family has gotten from the OF location, but it's still lives up to the Beggar's name.

Good pizza place near my home. You can order to pick up or dine-in. Service has always been good. If you order a deep dish, prepare to wait 45 minutes.

The pizza is good and I always enjoy it, but I made the mistake of ordering their buffalo chicken wings and was it ever a mistake. I had a pick-up order of wings to go, after trying them after I got home I thought that they had somehow how must have been a mix in the kitchen, the wings where so salty that I could not eat them. I called to complain, the manager apologized had said the will make another order and get them out to me ASAP, which they did, however the second batch was just as bad as the first. When I called back again they said sorry, but did not offer to refund my $20. Bottom line is, I would recommend the pizza from Beggars, but stay away from their chicken wings.

If you love pizza, and you love toppings this is your place. Beggars lays it on thick! I see some bad reviews and I laugh, didn't you understand that this place puts a lot of sausage, cheese, and pepperoni on?? Heck, they flat out tell you they do! No other pizza in the area even holds a candle to this place, especially the deep dish. We have eaten everywhere, from Ed and Joes, to San Fratello's and nothing is as consistent as they are. Are they pricey? You better believe it, but if you want the best, you will pay for the best. Only reason why I would give 4 stars is of the price, they do have coupons, but even after coupons it is still a nice dent in your wallet. We drop almost $40 a week on this place for my family. Support this place as they are one of the only ones actually putting out great pie in the area not like these pretenders like Nancy's, Giordano's, etc.
