Ah Hinsdale.............how the other half lives. As I sit in their Starbuck (I typically would not review such a place, but a few things stand out, so what the heck.) This historical village is part of the National Register District as of 2006 and was founded in 1871 (I think). At 4:30, the village is a flutter with activity.....kids heading home from school.....folks that work in the city getting off of the Metra....about 1 cop driving by every 10 minutes.....mothers and baby carriages abound and more Cougars and MILFs than you can shake a stick at.......yes, I know......I'm a pig, but hey, I'm a man....aren't most of us at one time or another. The starbuck is like all the others.....plenty of seating, standard menu, tile and hardwood floors and enough caffine to keep you going through any PTA meeting this village could throw at you. The town has plenty of parking, but a lot of it is metered, but here is the trick.....it is dirt cheap, but a bit weird....the meters I parked my car were directly across from the Starbucks by the rail road tracks and had only a 30 minute limit, but it only costs a nickel?!?!?!? OMFG....I don't think I've seen a nickel meter in years, but the really funny thing is that you can put in a nickel, dime, or quarter, but you still only get 30 minutes? WTF? I guess exact change is an issue in this place, but who cares at a nickel per 30 minutes. Hot coffee, cheap meters, MILFs and Cougars.......what more could anyone ask of a village?

Surprisingly one of the more friendly Starbucks that I've been to. They are quick and they smile. Thats good enough for me. The only downside is the obnoxious amount of little kids/high schoolers that come in during morning and after-school hours.

I've never experienced such a rude manager than the one I experienced around noon today. Unfortunately I can't comment on my drink/food as I had to leave and go to a different Starbucks. Worst. Experience. Ever.

Not one to rate a coffee shop, but this is one of my favorites. Busy and still on key with the drinks! Also, Hinsdale IL is a nice little place to cruse out too.

Great central meeting spot in Hinsdale! Staff is friendly and welcoming. Baristas are not the fastest compared to other Starbucks.
