I love this place! Not fancy food, but a great value! 2 weeks ago got two dinners, their Halibut Special and their Corned Beef and Cabbage Special, $6 and $6.50, including a choice of potato for fish, (boiled potatoes for Corned Beef) and soup or salad. To get out of a restaurant with Tip for two dinners under $20 and no Senior Discount! Love their breakfasts, great little diner!

I have breakfast once a week and enjoy. Every one knows each other. Don is the ultimate host. Karen and Kim are great as is Ricardo.

This is the best breakfast you will get in Freeport. The service is also great. Karen in the best. Try the Albanian potatoes! I get them with ham.

The breakfast food that we ordered was bland and my hash browns were a bit over cooked. The coffee was horrible, like it had been sitting on the burner all morning. The service was adequate and friendly. There's definitely room for improvement.

I'm sad to have to write this update, since I honestly love eating here. However, things changed at Oasis and not for the good. The fresh hand cut fries have been replaced with what appears to be frozen fries and the traditional diner burgers have been replaced by frozen patties. Very disappointed in the direction they have decided to go. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

My boyfriend and I came in for dinner, but I was feeling like breakfast food, so I ordered a fried egg with hash browns. No complaints here - everything tasted great. My boyfriend's steak sandwich was another story, though: the steak was dry and tough, served on white bread (really? No bun?) with a side of bland fries. We thought we'd end the meal on a good note with a couple pieces of pie. Because in my ignorant, romanticized notions of a small town diner-y place, they make their own pie and it is always delicious. Nope. Wrong on both counts. The waitress didn't even attempt to hide the fact that the pies were store-bought, since she took them out of their boxes right in front of us. The pies (peach and cherry) were not very good at all. What a waste. I would certainly come back again for breakfast food, but I probably wouldn't venture into the dinner menu. P.S. - Cash only! P.P.S. - Not into the middle-aged creeper leering at me from the corner, thanks.

Very simple American diner decor..but decent food for the price. Burgers under $3 and steaks around $12-14 ( includes soup or salad). Good value for money and good food.

Under average dinner. Don't go out of your way.

I only come to Freeport once a year in September. I've been eating here once a year for about 7 years. I've had all meals- Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is simple, and always very good.
