Not my favorite place to eat. Expensive for what you don't get and the quality of food just doesn't seem to be where it use to be years ago!

I HATE Taco Bell food and it is barely my last choice on earth.....I am very picky with my Mexican food but I can stand by Chipotle because the food is pretty good. What ever you get:tacos, burritos, bowl (everything minus the tortilla) is packed full of food. You get to choose to have a base of cilantro lime white rice, pinto or black beans, variety of meats, salsa, cheese, sour cream, and lettuce. Guacamole is extra**

The food used to be good till a few of us started getting stomach aches after eating there. Hopefully you don't go when the one girl who thinks she's the manager starts refusing to hear you. She needs to be put in her place and learn her job description. Stop making customers feel unheard when they ask to speak to the manager. Don't make managerial decisions if you aren't one! Glad for the one guy who is a manager there. He's the Mexican one.

I used to get the Carnitas bowl here or the Carnitas tacos or burritos. They were good but I would have to sit there after a while and pick out all the fat blobs. It was pretty gross. I asked them the last time if they could give me just the lean pieces and the lady did that, she pushed all the big jiggly fat out of the way and just gave me the lean, but to even have to ask her to do that I thought, wait a minute. It just keeps tasting saltier and saltier like the first reviewer said too and after the last experience, I just don't go there anymore, I think everyone in our family has had their fill of Chipotle.

I Love Chipotle, who doesn't? As someone else said, this location is pretty busy, due to it being near NIU's campus. Luckily, even though it is busy, the line moves quickly and I have always been able to find a place to sit. The food is consistently good here and I cannot say that about every Chipotle. This past Saturday, I went here for lunch and it was the best Chipotle I had eaten in a really long time.

I eat there about 5 days a week. Even with a line, they move quickly. I enjoy the all natural food selection. Guacamole isn't bad for a "fast food" type restaurant.

Its just ok, nothing special about it. Staff friendly, when they are paying attention. Just simple and plain inside, ok at best Food is ok.

I can't complain about the quality of the food. Believe me, it is so nice to be able to count on consistent quality from a restaurant. The price and service keep this place from getting 4 stars. The food is simply too expensive. I can't in good conscience spend $10 on such simple food on a regular basis. The portions are way too big. Would love to have an option to have a smaller portion at a reduced price. Also, there is always the same problem every time I order. When I order tacos to go, I prefer to keep the shells separate so that they don't get soggy by the time I get home. For whatever reason, this always causes controversy. Sometimes, the employees look at me as if I've asked them to split the atom. Sometimes, the employees will outright refuse to pack the shells separately, and I have to talk to a manager. I was given the explanation that they don't give out the shells because they think that people are using them instead of the chips that are sold separately. #1, thank you for assuming that I'm trying to rip you off and, #2 you were about to give me the shells with the stuff inside them, JUST PACK THEM SEPARATELY!!! Why is this so hard? Sometimes I think about going, but then I envision the argument I'm going to have to have with 2-3 employees in order to get separate shells, and I just go somewhere else.

I haven't had chipotle in months after they raised their prices, and lowered their quality but after getting a gift card for Christmas I was forced to use it. Upon walking into this location the first thing I observed was overflowing trash cans with garbage on the floors. Once I got my order I instantly tasted cold chicken and semi warm rice. My girlfriend found pieces of fat all over her chicken. Chipotles quality has changed and not for the better.

I am obsessed with Chipotle. I get annoyed that my portions are larger when they are slower. That is about it. Otherwise, it is Chipotle. Yum.

LOVE chipotle. This location can get really busy at lunch because it's on NIU campus. But I have always experienced really great service there and the employees are very fun and nice.

Was in this location on Nov. 2nd and the manager on duty Nancy was really rude to a elderly customer. She was super inpatient and rushing him thought the line.

I like burrito bowls. They make me happy. Thank you Chipotle, for making me happy. :)

Their portions SUCK. I asked for a little bit of extra chicken and he charged me for DOUBLE MEAT, also, the rice in my burrito bowl was not even sufficient for my 2 year old nephew to eat. They weren't very friendly either. I didn't make a big deal because i have more important things to do than to deal with an incompetent employee who is living his sorry ass life making minimum wage. I will however make a quick call to corporate as this isn't the first time it's happened. Of course, this will be done as and when i get time.

I go here way too often. Fast, good-tasting food on the go. Only downside is sometimes they leave the food out for a bit too long.

Worst Chipotle I have ever been to! The staff is slow, and don't seem to know what they are doing most of the time. The manager is rude and sassy. The tables are always dirty from food that has been sitting there for probably hours, and the trash cans are always overflowing as well. The line is always ridiculously long because of how slow the staff is. The last time I was there they were filling online orders instead of serving customers in line for 10 minutes at a time the line did not move at all. When I finally did get to the front, my food just sat on my burrito for ten minutes while they filled other online orders (serve your in restaurant customers first!) by the time I actually was able to sit down at a dirty table, my burrito was falling apart and my steak was cold. This is by far the worst Chipotle around.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
