I've gone to this location a couple of times. They need a bigger parking lot... Can I fault them because they are so busy? Methinks not. Everyone seems to want Chipotles when I want it. Hence, they are often busy. I enjoy going to Chipotles, because it is "fast food", but without all of the grease and stuff that isn't really good for you. The servers are generally pleasant, but you can spot the newbies. They are stressed during pike times, but you should know how crazy it gets if you applied for employment. Hopefully, they will get used to the craziness - delivering the order, while being pleasant to the customer, with five other hungry customers waiting for that individualized service and care.

I don't understand the problem with some of these workers here. Gave this place 2 chances. Both times got very disappointed. Why are workers so skimpy on the ingredients? I'm sticking to the Oak Lawn chipotle where they care if you come back. Worst Chipotle ever. Some of the kids there are so unprofessional I feel sad for who ever owns this place because it isn't going to last long...

I would say the Chipotle was very good. The staff greeted us when we walked in. The wait was not that bad 5 mins or less. It was hard to order over the extremely loud music. The food was what you would expect from a Chipotle. And it was very filling. My fiancé who was against coming here ended up liking the place. The chips were stale and or under cooked but everything else was cooked well.

I was really excited that there was finally a chipotle near me. when i heard it finally opened i decided to have dinner there tonight. first off, it is pretty small for a chipotle, and the seats are not separated from where the line forms to get your food making this potentially problematic. my burrito was not well put together it split completely down on one side and was loosely wrapped so the whole thing came apart. it did not taste bad- it was just sloppily made. and the restaurant was dirty- i had to wipe all the rice off a table i could find that was not clustered together so close. and the condiment stand was under stocked and the garbage cans were over flowing and covered in stacks of trays. i know they just opened hence why i gave it two stars but hopefully they will get it together soon or else i will not bother with this place anymore.

some of the staff are pretty rude. i asked for extra cilantro, which any other established chipoltle should have just given it without asking questions. she refused to put it on. they get 2 extra stars because when i asked the cashier if they ran out of cilantro, she tried to rectify the situation by offering cilantro on the side. which baffles me, why would they be stingy about giving out condiments. im pretty sure the employee who refused to give it out didnt have to cut it. i was pretty furious about that and didnt want to deal with them anymore, so i stormed out of there. i really like that chipoltle offers the sofritas and fresh vegetables close by. but it appears that the staff needs some attitude and friendly customer relations training as soon as possible.

Let me just say that I'm over Chipotle. And I used to be a huge advocate. I don't feel like the quality is the way it used to be years ago. This particular location has let me down time and time again yet I continue to go back. The sofritas (tofu) taste like chili and not something I want to put on my burrito bowl. I've also had chicken from this location and it was horrid. I had to pick it out because it was either too fatty or undercooked. Either way, I didn't feel safe eating it. Also, I don't like cilantro but I usually can't taste it at other locations because it's finely chopped up. At this one, they don't chop it so it's like I was eating cilantro salad instead of a burrito bowl. On all visits, the food is never as hot as it should be. Needless to say, I won't be back. To this Chipotle or any others. If I go back, it will only be for guac and chips. And I doubt that will even be before the year is out...

Obviously I love Chipotle, I eat here usually once a day. Today I was in line with Thaddeus, one of their managers. He bought me my lunch and we had a nice conversation about my favorite restaurant chain! Thanks Thaddeus!!!!

Don't eat here. Every single time I go here, there's a problem. Last time the food was ice cold, and I live 7 minutes away from the location. Thought I'd give it another chance, and it was my mistake. Once again, the food was cold once I got home, but this time, the rice was barely cooked. I literally had the rice cracking under my teeth as I chewed. Had to throw it out. Cook your rice throughout and don't sell this garbage to people! Really makes me sad, since I used to work for Chipotle, and I know these aren't the standards the employees should exhibit.

Let me start off by saying I LOVE Chipotle. Every other location I've been to has been consistently awesome. I've been to this location three times now, and every single time has been bad. The first time, my food was cold, and the line was OBNOXIOUSLY slow-moving. The second time they ran out of chicken and steak at about 8:00 PM and not only was the line almost out the door, there were about twelve people seated, holding receipts, who were waiting on their food and would need to be served before the line even began to move. When I finally did get my burrito, the steak was so raw I could barely chew it. Today it wasn't too busy at 3 PM, but I walked into a line of about 5-6 people and see that they are out of steak and carnitas and neither one is cooking, there is no chicken except for what was just put on the grill, and the barbacoa is just about gone. When I finally get to the front of the line, the girl taking my order (who moves like she's downed about a half bottle of valium) asks what I'd like, and then immediately starts staring into space and asks me to repeat myself. She, by the way, gave the same level of attention to every person in front of me as well. After I asked for steak she informed me that "We outta steak" and stared blankly at me. I asked her what she DID have and she said "Chicken." I asked for a chicken burrito so she SLOOOOOWLY sauntered to the back and came back with a fresh load of chicken. She loaded up my burrito, passed it on and immediately started having a full blown conversation with the chipotle employee who was now behind me in line ordering his lunch, even though an additional 5-7 people were now in line, and the person who she passed my burrito to was trying to ask her a question about my order. Oh, and my rice and cheese were ice cold. I feel stupid for going here three times expecting anything different. There were a few employees who seemed to care. The girl who was working the register and the guy who finished my burrito were both friendly and attentive, but the ignorance and complete lack of motivation displayed by 50% of their employees is outweighing the better efforts of the other 50% and that's enough for me to never visit this location again.

I just read the bio on Chipotle's Friday And have been to several including out of Illinois. I wish the founder of this company could see how bad this Chipotle's is I'm sure he would be as disappointed as I was. The music was so loud you could barely hear anything, the staff was so slow it took them at lease 20 minutes to wait on 3 people. They showed no interest in good customer service. I asked if the manager was there and they said yes, and wanted to know if I would like to speak with the manager. I said no because If the manager was there it meant that this was the norm for this site. I really needed this restaurant because this meant that I would not have to go so far to one of the best places to eat but, if this is the way it's going to be then I'll just have to pass on this one.

Zzzz zzzz oh sorry I was napping in this nasty long ass line. Staff is slower then molasses in January. I swear every time I'm. In here they turn the speed down a notch. Food is okay, service is turrible. But them steak burritos keep me coming back. All in all if you have a half hour to stand in line to eat good food, come to Crestwood Chipotle.

If I could give this location NEGATIVE 5 STARS I would. Horrible service. I have visited this location upwards of 5 time each visit regardless of time of day we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for multiple items to be restocked (15 min on chicken, guacamole rice and so on) I get it can be busy but EVERY TIME?? I'm not talking busy dinner or lunch rush every time either. Most of the time I drive out if my way to visit the Tinley park location because their service is always wonderful. Ps even when you wait for them to restock the food you wait for dint expect great quality. Waited 20 minutes for steak only for it to be overcooked and tough and then another timr waiting for rice then received it undercooked ! Just don't bother.

  • Vicky K.

Smaller portions than the orland park location. You will definitely need to ask for extra rice or whatever else they decide to jip you on that day. They often run of our products and will have you wait for a fresh batch of whatever. I love fresh but you shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes to get food at a place like this. Every time I have been here they are interviewing a new person. Maybe all the new employees are why their portions are not up to par? I don't know, but it has to be taken care of. Either way, I love chipotle burrito bowls!

I love Chipotle. I aspire to own a franchise location one day. So that I could eat the food whenever the hell I want. This is the worst damn Chipotle I have ever been to. And I've been to quite a few different locations. The Chicken was slimy, and probably undercooked. 0/10 will not be back.

Well, I see I wasn't the only person who left this location disappointed. The barbacoa was a watery, sloppy mess. I don't know how food coming out of a "steam tray" can be below room temperature, but mine certainly was. The employees seemed like they were lost, and had never heard of these crazy things we were trying to order right off of the menu! My wife went in recently to purchase a gift card for somebody, and the cashier had to get somebody else to ring it up. After this super-special gift-card selling employee rang it up, my wife gave it as a gift to somebody. The gift card recipient called her the next day to tell her there was no money on the card! Sure enough, my wife had to go in and explain what happened. They didn't act the least bit surprised, and didn't apologize for the issue, just gave her a proper gift card.

Totally disappointed! We had cold food, even complained and got a second bowl that was cool. Slow service--food sat out while waiting for toppings and for cashier. She stepped away several times while we were in line. We had to remind them to make the margarita. Just overall a bad experience!

Horrible staff, reviews are correct loud/ignorant but those were other visits at night and did'nt personally bother me as much as this recent visit. I got there at 11am walked in the door walked up to counter and was told to leave because they are not open? Why was door unlocked if you are not open? And yes I was escorted out the front door. Who tells their customers to leave? Ive been to other Chipotle's (Orland Park) before they open and you just wait in line until they start service but they dont kick you out! There was a line of people outside and he tells them we are not open we open at 11 one customers points out its 11:01am he says well were opening late today. Rude and very bad customer service went down the street to get real mexican food at el gallo tapatillo on 137th and cicero they were glad to take my order and money their food was very good too. Too bad I used to like Chipotle oh well. Finally - Not that everyone with them is rude but Chiptole if you are going to hire people with tattoo's on their face and or necks what do you expect?

The Employees are not very kind. When we asked an employee to wipe down a table for us, she acted like we were bothering her. In reality there wasn't a clean table to sit at. Food in general is sub-standard Mexican, no matter what they say, and very pricey.

  • Gary H.

Preach on Dan B!! The staff here is ri-goddamn-diculous. During a recent visit, they were being very loud and obnoxious in the back. Mind you, chipotle's "in the back" is exposed to the customers. And don't you dare come here right before they close (which to this location means 30 minutes prior) because they'll be out of guacamole, fajita veggies, and 3 of the meats. Me likely the guacamoles!! The only reason I gave this location 2 stars instead of 1 is because... A) I'm a nice ass guy B) chipotle is good food dude

    (2)
  • Jackie T.

A lot cleanlier than other locations i have been too. The only thing id have to agree with is don't go an hour before closing ! They run out of the ingredients and i even heard the one worker say this is the last of the chicken and I'm not making anymore so everyone can order something else , mind you there had to be like 11 people behind me in line i felt bad . Staff just needs to be more considerate .

I have been to other Chipotle's that did not impress me, but I really enjoyed our time in this one tonight. As per other comments on this location, yes, it is small, but no smaller than some restaurants I've seen downtown. I liked the communal tables; it may be a bit avant-garde for a restaurant here on the southside, but I thought it looked inviting. The aluminum covered table tops, leather stools and industrial style gave it a contemporary feel. American alternative rock played in the back ground encouraging conversation between myself and my daughter. The food, (we split a taco dinner - steak, chicken & carnitas) we thought was really good for a chain restaurant. The veggies were fresh and the meat was seasoned well. But the chips were fresh and the guacamole was not over loaded with onions and garlic to drown out the avocado flavor (a pet peeve with me!). One down side is that they did not ask us if we were dinning in and handed us our food in a paper bag. Will visit this location again, maybe even try it for take out since we know they have bags!

This is the worst experience I have ever had at chipotle. The staff is completely incompetent. After waiting in line for 10mins to order a burrito the employees had the nerve to skimp out on all the ingredients, and to top it all off the food was cold. I will never step foot in this chipotle ever again.

    (1)
  • Beth R.

The staff is the worst! The food is ok, The one in Orland is just so much better all around!

    (2)
  • Patti B.

This location is a lot slower than most. The staff is always waiting for the next station to keep up. Also, it seems that they hardly ever time things stocked out correctly. I am constantly having to wait for rice, meat to be done, something. In any case, they start your order and then it sits there waiting for the item to be prepped/finished so they can serve it. I asked for a fresh bowl once after it sat there waiting for ten minutes for the chicken to be done and cut, and all I got was a bunch of eyes rolling because my bowl sat there getting cold and wanted a warm one. Super close to me, which is why I go sometimes, but if I have the time, I'll just go to the next one.

Welcome addition to the area - it is consistent with other Chipotle locations that I've been to. The food is great and they keep the flow of people moving pretty smoothly through line. Not as busy as the one in Oak Lawn, which is nice. Take advantage of the "online order" they have a parking space designated for it and you can get in and out pretty quickly!

The worst service of any chipotle! Always out of vegetables and staff is not trained!!!!! The do not like to wait on their customers!!!!

  • glenn d.

This is not your normal Chipotle., where you're in and out with food you can eat. This place is brand new, but it's no excuse for the inept staff. They weren't trained properly, and if they were, well FIRE EM. After waiting in line behind Cassanova,(sup baby) who didn't know if he wanted a burrito or the willingly attentive burrito folder, two people walked in and cut right in line at the counter, and it seems that they pre ordered by phone or fax??? Anyhow, when my burrito was finally at the end, the folder destroyed it, then asked if I wanted it double wrapped. I didn't, so she proceeded to dump the torn one into a new tortilla at which point I said thanks anyways and headed for the door. Why would I want a double wrapped burrito? Why is this restaurant even open for business? Where did they recruit for employees, Ringling Bros? This isn't your normal Chipotle.

I love how patient they are with my grandmother when she orders. She is hard of hearing and talks into the glass counter instead of over it. They are great! Never messed up an order and I've been here 4 times so far. One girl while she was on her lunch break answered questions for us.

    (5)
  • Kara S.

The worst service ever!!!! If you are on your lunch break do not rely on this place for anything! Nothing is ever ready how do you not have any chicken or steak ready during lunch hours? Their line is extremely slow and they have the nerve to have attitudes, not to mention that they are extremely stingy with condiments. I love Chipotle but this location need some work.

  • Elizabeth M.

I despise this chipotle so much....I waited in line 10 minutes to get to the front. Then waited another 5 full minutes to get my burrito finished up. Meat was dry and old. My brother complained several times about his burrito being cold. Never again will I go here.

    (1)
  • Khamie W.

This is by far the worst chipotle I've ever been too. The employees don't take the job seriously. Majority of them are under age so they cannot make margaritas. The food is made very sloppy . And to top it off they are beyond rude. We waited 15mins in line because 4 ppl were on break and the two working we're doing everything alone. The place always has dirty tables and to top it off last night was the last straw! When I watched her lay steak and chicken in the same container.

Went to this Chipotle location earlier this evening after a nice workout at the gym.. Wanted a little more heat and burn than I had at the gym, but not too much. I tell the chick piling the fillers and sauces that I didn't want too much spicy sauce. This clown ladles at least a half a damn cup of the shit on my food. When I tell her it was too much, this deaf dingbat says incredulously....because SHE'S the one eating the food, "That's too much?!?" Told her "yes" and that I wanted a new bowl. She sighs, because how dare I be so specific about how I want MY FOOD prepared.. She walks over to prepare another bowl. But with the shitty ass attitude displayed, I decided to spend my money elsewhere.. Adios! This is the second time the employees here have given me attitude because they fail to LISTEN to the customers, because they're bending their ears to hear the side conversations of their co-workers. Funk this Chipotle and their bad apple employees who should be relegated to the kitchen, instead of interacting with customers. If you go here, scream your orders loudly and pass on the spicy sauce. Peace..

Worst Chipolte I've ever visited. Visted this place multiple times during lunch time and they never have all the ingredients including meat. Service is bad because it's ALWAYS understaffed.

What's with the bad reviews? I went to this Chipotle during my lunch hour. I received great service, great food, and was in and out in under 5 minutes. Great job!

Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from. The staff greets everyone that comes in. Good food, good service.

I faxed over a 9 person order on 1/24 at 11:47pm to the above location. I called shortly thereafter to verify receipt of order. They informed me that they would not be able to accommodate the 12:15 pick up time and told me to come at 12:30. At that same time I informed that I need individual totals for the 9 orders but wanted to pay with one credit card. They told me it would not be an issue. When I arrived at 12:30 to pick up my order I was not given the individual prices for the 9 orders just the grand total. That took 15 mins to complete when that was finally accomplished the 9 order were not boxed and I had to wait an additional 5 mins for that to happen. None of the bags contained napkins or forks. I finally walked out of your store with my cold food at 12:50. When I called and spoke to Byran Murillo - General Manager and explained the situation I was told what did I want him to do. We have been a customer of Chipotle for several years and have never experienced such poor customer service as I have today at the Crestwood location. I can honestly say that I nor the other people that ordered today will ever go to that location again. I am totally dishearten that one location has tarnished our idea of your restaurant.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
