Today was just an ok breakfast , I think there is a couple different cooks that cook much differently than each other, I wanted grits, they were very starchy and wasn't cooked right, normally when you stick your finger inside the bowl the grits are NOT suppose to stick to your fingers , your finger suppose to come up empty and milky. The Denver omelet was dry, good in a way cause it's not oily but too dry to eat , but when your hungry sometimes it sometimes it doesn't matter My female waitress is always nicer than ever and has a great attitude to make me not write a 1 or 2 star review But I think the cook today must of had a bad day. Please watch our new show in 2 weeks called Yelp disasters with me visiting existing reviews I have done and how the owners are complaining about my reviews of there So Call good food , when it really tasted horrible , my guest will be Gordon Ramsey and he will jump in after my review and agree to these owners and tells them how it should be done. This place is amazing! I just moved into Cicero and tried this place on my bday for a quick breakfast. This place has the best French Toast I have ever tried!! Their bacon is spot on and hashbrowns yummmm....I have tried their grits twice but they are just OK (it's no Waffle House kinda grits here, man I wish we had Waffle House in Chicago...but that's another review) anywho, this place is a must try. Don't be fooled by the outer appearance, it's whats inside that counts :)

Greasy spoon in a seedy area. Lots of really stellar reviews brought us here after a hawks game. I wanted something decent at a later hour so I hit this place up. I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality given a) location - lets face it Cicero is not known for safety b) appearance - its small, bleak looking, and unassuming c) prices - the prices on the simplified wall menu are pretty cheap so I was fearful it was another "steak n' egger". As it turns out this place is actually of decent quality and is a good late night stop in the OPRF adjacent area.

Without a doubt, some of the BEST french toast I've had in my entire life. Bacon wasn't too crispy or too soggy, and the scrambled eggs with cheese were awesome, all around great breakfast. Hell, anything you order here at any time is great. I already want more french toast.

I looove United Grill for its large portions and hit-the-spot, simple greasy fare, all at a really reasonable price. My boyfriend I have become regulars for brunch. We usually share the #3 (3 eggs, sausage or bacon, hash browns, and toast) plus a side order of the rib eye steak. We always leave super full and super satisfied!

I live right around the corner from this place and have gone there to eat at differing times very often throughout the years. In short: I love it. And the more you go regularly, the more the employees get to know you! Its really a great place with friendly staff. I will not doubt that you will come across very many people from all corners of the Chicago area but its refreshing to have a little place in Cicero so diverse and great. That cheeseburger special is to die for!

I have been living in the area for about a dozen years and had never been to this place ever. Until one day about 2 years ago my daughter tells me her and some friends went to this place for breakfast after a party. I then decided to try it out OMG this place is great love the breakfast YUM it is a little greasy but it is great food for decent price. I would recommend this place.

I love United. Yes it is just a simple diner but an inexpensive way to fill your tummy if you are in the area. My dad has been coming to United since he was a kid and is now a family tradition. Sure, the business has changed hands since then but the quality has stayed the same. Simple good cheep diner food 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Yes, I am the person who wants to go out for breakfast after drinking all night the Wednesday before Thanksgiving or on New Year's morning, and thank god for this place because it's always open. I often get the grilled cheese and hash browns but the eggs are good too. It's a typical greasy spoon diner, offering a typical diner menu and decor. It's a little gritty around the edges and in a Hispanic neighborhood so I think there are a few Mexican food choices on the menu as well. I very much enjoyed sitting in a booth early New Year's morning and watching an 8-piece mariachi band in matching velvet costumes sit down for some food at the counter. The price is right, the service is fast, the food coats the stomach, and there is some convenient angle parking on the street.

YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY THEM! in the morning is best.. and with ice cold milk.. oh god this place is good.. only weird thing.. is last time i ordered some white dude kept staring at me as i was eating.. like if i was going to do something when i was clearly alone.. but no big deal. food is amazing.
