Mmmmm. . .. Bloomington's best Pad Thai is HERE? Yup Very tasty Pad Thai, and the Japanese noodle not too bad either. Finally a 2nd place, in Bloomington, worth returning to for lunch. A wide variety of noodle dishes, and soup and sand combos. You order up front, then either sit down or take out. Fast food - maybe, but it's sure tasty, and tastes good for you. I'm impressed!

If Noodles and Co. is an option, I would be willing to try it again. I had the pulled pork mac and cheese and thought it was notable, since I had never had that combo before. The potstickers were not hot, but had good flavor.

Love this concept and the place. Every time I have been there, the staff is very friendly and makes it enjoyable. I am a pasta lover so it's fun to have all those options! Quality of the food is GREAT.

Love Noodles! Got in on the free salad and pay it forward tshirt today! The deal was the 1st 50 people got the deal. This place got 50 people through the line in under :30! The new backyard bbq salad was terrific.

Good basic place for quick lunch or dinner. Menu is kept fairly limited and divided into three styles - Asian, Mediterranean or American with 4-5 variations on each style. All dishes consist of some type of noodle or pasta with vegetable and meat/fish/protein add ins costing a few dollars extra. I tend to prefer their Asian inspired offerings over the others. It's pretty much a fast food place so decor is utilitarian but not industrial. Think more Panera than McDonald's. Entree plus drink will run $8-10 or so. Seating options both inside and out.

Love love love their Mac n cheese!! That is only thing I usually get there. Hot and good! Quick to order and quick to get food. Best to eat there as doesn't stay warm enough to get home.

Clean location, busy parking lot, good food and friendly service. I really like the penne rosa with the parmesan chicken. The Bangkok bowl is really good too.

For fast food, about as good as it gets. Fresh ingredients cooked to order, and healthy. Reasonably priced compared to other noodle options in town (e.g. Thai food) - Small entree (which is plenty of food) is $4.25 + $2 for meat + $1.50 for drink. Contrary to latest reviewer, I get the Bangkok Curry every week and it is very good (and under 350 calories w/o meat). Pad Thai and Japanese Pan Noodles are also good, and under 350 calories. They also serve wine and beer, so makes for a nice casual dinner.

I usually get the pad thai here but got the summer bbq salad today because my GF passed on the Summer Salad T-shirt to me so I had a free Backyard BBQ Salad! I don't get salad out often but this salad was very good! It had bbq chicken on it and came with fresh corn cut off the cob that was really sweet and had a coleslaw dressing on it. I'd get this again.

Friendly counter staff both times I've visited recently. I'm a pretty picky eater, and they were both very accommodating. Restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the food came fast and fresh.

I finally tried this place for the first time today! It wasn't quite as good as I was expecting. I tried the mac n cheese because I had heard a lot of good reviews. Homemade is much better! My husband got an indonesian peanut sauce dish that was pretty good. Not enough sauce for my preference, but I am known to go overboard on condiments. The taste was really good, perfectly heated.

This place is crazy fast, I've been here twice during the heart of the lunch rush and man do they have it down..., a merger of fast food and a sit down place they are really quick w/delivery of your food as well as taking your dirty plates and garbage away for you. I've had the Wisconsin Mac and Cheese both time and it is ummmmmm good, I recommend the parm-crusted chicken w/it too... I recommend this spot if your in a rush and need to carb up!!!

Noodles & Company is one of our favorite places to eat for lunch or for dinner.. The staff is always pleasant and busy. They have a pretty good mix of menu items, including American favorites, Oriental, Italian, other season items from time to time. They have noodle-based entrees, rice-based entrees, and even soups, salads and sandwiches. My wife likes the beef stroganoff, I LOVE the new Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. So much, in fact, that it's all I've had since they came out with it! The restaurant is situated next to Veteran's Parkway and is pretty easy to get in and out of. The dining room isn't huge, but is right-sized for the clientele that frequent the place. At this restaurant you order your food at the counter and they give you a number to place on your table. When your food is ready someone brings it out to you. The food is always hot and fresh, and it comes out surprisingly fast. There are also no trash cans in the dining room. Instead a staff person will come by after you leave to clear your table. It's a great place to eat if you want to try something new. There are even a few tables so that you can dine outside in the warmer months.

Really good food for a very reasonable price. I usually get the whole grain tuscan fresca. I love that they have lots of healthy options.

Darn good. I had Thai hot pot and it was excellent. Wife had Japanese noodles that were excellent too. Definitely recommend this place. It's good for those of you that have kids as well. Went back a second time and the Pad Thai was not very good.

Always nice people behind the counter. They had a slight issue with my order and the manager handled the situation graciously and promptly before I even knew there was a problem (I placed the order and they didn't start making it right away). I'll be around here more often.

Noodles and Company is great! We went here on a recommendation from a local Bloomington citizen. Basically, I love curry, so I always get the Thai Curry Soup. They also have an option of tofu which I am also a huge fan. The combo is nommy and a mere 7 dollars. It is fast food in the best possible way. I heard their italian pasta is underwhelming, but that their Indonesian Peanut Saute is amazing. So stick with the Asian noodle dishes and you should be good. They let you customize it any way you want. I travel with vegetarians and this is essential for them. In the Midwest, with their meat and potatoes, it is great that we have some option for them that isn't a salad or a veggie burger. The only bad thing is I wish they had more seating, it gets especially crowded at lunch and dinner of course. Also that they don't have one in San Francisco. Hopefully someone out there will start one!

I seriously love Noodles & Company. The only reason I give it three stars is because there honestly aren't that many options on the menu. But for a fast food type of place, it's decent. And who doesn't love pasta?

Love it! They have American, Mediterranean, Asian food, all prepared as you wish. If you don't like it, they will make you something else! The prices are competitive you have 2 sizes to choose from. You can add extras to your dish, such as chicken, tofu, greens, bread so it make fresh to your liking. I have the pesto or beef straganoff! The staff bring your food and they are friendly and can always suggest a dish. I make a trip from Peoria to come because, well i love it!

A chain place that serves typical chain food. I had the Thai Curry soup. It was bland. I had to add a couple tablespoons of sriracha to make it to my liking. My one girlfriend had the Udon dish. Good seasonings, but I don't like Udon. My other girlfriend had a Mushroom in a white sauce dish. It was also okay. I totally geeked out at the chop stick adapter thingie to allow easier use of chop sticks for the chop stick challenged. That was the highlight of going to Noodles and Co.

Very pleasantly surprised. I used to see these when I lived in the Midwest, but was always turned off by the generic-sounding name and logo. Loved the Thai curry soup (added tofu). Excellent, fresh, tasty ingredients.

Noodles & Company is one of my favors! I love their Pasta Fresca and wife likes their Japanese Pan Noodles. If you are watching weight, bangkok curry is really good choice for you (only 480 cal. for regular size). The only reason I didn't give 5 star is because I think it's slightly pricy.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
