Stopped in for dinner as I was traveling on business and staying next door; for the money, got a good value and the staff was attentive. It met my needs and I will return.

Well let's just say I left the place full. It's your typical run of the mill, everything comes with beans and rice type of place. The staff was not very friendly and the food seemed a bit pricey for the area and the fact that it's mostly warmed up mexican food on a plate. I was in town for business but next time I will avoid this place and make the drive to campus for some Chipotle.

While staying at one of the local hotels, I checked yelp and found a couple of places to try but based on the current reviews I tried a pizza place that was really busy so I headed here rather then wait. I wasn't sure what to expect. I have to say I live in So. Cali. where we awesome Mexican restaurants. The food and drinks rival most anything here. I sat at the small bar and ordered a large beer within a moment of sitting down. Large frozen glass in front of me immediately. Chips and salsa filled in seconds. I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas, rice and bean. Came in very short order and was 5 stars. Hot, fresh, and tasted great. My only issue is I ate way too much. The bill was more then reasonable ... Too cheap really, a bargain for sure! We all have had bad experiences at places other love, I get it. Try this place and hopefully they are spot on. They were for me. 5 stars earned.

Went to this restaurant today and received some the worse service I've ever had. There were 7 of us and at least 1 part of all our food was wrong. When we asked the waiter what happened he proceeded to tell us that we ordered wrong instead of taking blame for his mistake and trying to fix his mistakes. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CUSTOMER BEING ALWAYS RIGHT??? Myself and my colleagues will never spend our hard earned money in this crap hole again.

Used to eat there a lot, on West market by Walmart and by k mart, they charge me for two teas, because they said I drink a lot of tea, I said I thought it was free refills they told me you drink a lot of tea? then I went to both places by Walmart and Kmart I had the card 12 meal was free, very rarely ordered off the lunch menu, they told me that all I could order from lunch menu for free lunch, the food was good service lot of times they never return back to table you always had to raise your hand and flag them down, for the onnce they took my tea glass to refill it never returned, I got the feeling I was troubling these waiters to eat their. Yeah and the cards were the same for both places, but used two different stamps, They finally told me can't use the same card for both places that's okay there are plenty of places to eat in bloomington/normal

The food was ok. I had the chimichanga. It was a little oily and the beans were runny but had good flavor. The lunch service was fast and the prices were reasonable.

No stars!!! This place was awful. Crabby curt waiters. No offer to refill coffee that tastes like tea. Chicken tacos that come without lettuce, cheese, sour cream, but do come with grease soaked flour tortillas, and bland tasteless rice and beans. My husband's chicken was gross also. He is too nice to complain about it, but no one asked if the food was ok anyway. We should have known when we saw a sign on the cash register saying" no refunds on food or drink." along with ten thousand other hand scrawled magic marker signs. Really, no stars!

Not a fan at all. Went in with my family, told to seat ourselves, then after waiting for twenty minutes we had to go and ask if someone could come to the table. When we finally got the food, I was not impressed at all. My food was only lukewarm and pretty tasteless. I got the trio plate that came with a taco, a burrito, and an enchilada. I could excuse poor service, or subpar food, but when we get both in one visit, you lose a customer. I definitely will not be returning to this Fiesta.

Good: Dos Equis on tap. Beyond that: Nothing good. Empty on a Wednesday night, tasting the food told us why. Boring! A thousand choices, all of them lacking in any originality. Everything I had was tasteless. But the Dos Equis was terrific.

Food-wise I have never had anything bad. The fajitas are good, the quesadilla verde is my go-to dish. I prefer the rice over the mushed beans. Half off Thursday Margaritas are always a hit, though please note, you cannot use a coupon if you are also getting the half off margaritas. My one complaint, especially with this location, is the service. My coworkers and I came here and everything came out at a snail pace. Waited forever to get our drinks, then waited to place our order, then waited even longer to get our food. I think we would come to this place more often if the service was more attentive.

The food was actually pretty decent but the service was sub-par and I really felt like I had to fight to get some service. There were four waiters and we were waited on by all of them. I wasn't even sure who the hell to tip. We started off with some carne asada tacos on corn tortillas and some extremely bland guacamole. It had no tomatoes, onions, or lemon juice. It was like a green paste. The salsa was not salsa. It was a "mild" sauce. The chips were not homemade, which I hate, but they did come out hot and fresh. The carne asade tacos that we enjoyed as an appetizer were really good but didn't come with any sour cream, tomatoes, or pico de gallo. It's almost like we had to ask for any toppings on our food. My husband (like usual) ordered the chile rellenos with two enchiladas and a taco which he immediately forked over. (He hates tacos, WHO hates tacos?). He said that the chile rellenos was the only good thing on his combination dinner plate and that the enchiladas were covered in a horrid tasting cheese sauce which made them almost inedible. I ordered the chicken and steak quesadilla which was actually pretty darn fantastic. Of course they added a ton of onions and peppers so they could cover up the fact that they didn't want to add a lot of meat, but it was flavorful, hot and I would order it again, sans a thousand peppers and onions. They have a nice selection of bottled beers, margaritas, kids specials and some .25$ candy for the kiddos by the front door, but I probably won't be back. The service or lack thereof was pretty awful. Come on, Fiesta...step it up and kick some waiter butt!

Will never eat at another Fiesta again! I found a rock in my refried beans. When it was brought to the attention of the manager, I offered to pay the whole check. But knew I would never come back. He accused me of planting the rock, but said he would give me a discount anyway. If nothing else, I was over charged for the meal. I have never been so angry or disgusted with a restaurant before. I would rate less stars if that was possible.

service if HORRIBLE. One person in our party order the special, the people making the food did not know what the special was and neglected to make that order our food came out but his did not and then out waiter informed us they did not know what the special was our waiter then had to leave early so we all tipped him cash and then closed our tickets when we were done. A couple days later I check my bank statement only to find out that someone had wrote in the tip column an amount that I did not enter. If you like terrible tasting food, horrible service, and a wait staff that will steal your money then feel free to eat at fiesta, if you like good tasting excellent service I recommend los potrillos, or el porton

Had the spicy shrimp diablo and thought it was very good. Service was slow, left sitting in the booth so long I had to stop another waiter and ask for service. It was a slow Sunday night so they weren't at all busy. If I went back Id have the same dish.

Read a lot of so-so reviews, but had a nice meal here. Ordered Shrimp fajitas; they came out promptly, hot and delicious. Very generous portion, could have probably been shared. No complaints.

I have reviewed the one of the other Fiesta restaurants in town and this serves the same food as the others. This is the newest Fiesta in town which is probably why it is so much nicer than the others. You'll get free chips and salsa when you sit down and the service is very fast. You'd think that you'd need to budget more time for a sit down meal but we usually get our food within 10 minutes of ordering.

The food is always good, the wait staff is not always that friendly but you never have to wait for a refill , and serve a really good margarita

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
