This place is a miniature version of Fast Eddie's. Cheap shrimp and great pizza. They only take cash in the kitchen, but you can use debit in the bar area/restaurant. They have outside patio seating and on the weekends sometimes they have a band. Big screens everywhere, one could watch Nascar, hockey and baseball. Drinks were reasonable and tasty. A great old wooden mantle piece in the showcase in the restaurant/bar area. I had the peel and eat shrimp and fried dill pickle. Enough said I sound like I am from the country.

We have visited this place many times over the years and the last few times were more and more disappointing. Tonight was no different and probably has made it were I won't go back. 1. Sat for 10 min no one came by for drink orders. Had to go to the bar to order 2. No shrimp 3. Ask for plates bigger than the tiny ones that they have for condiments. It was too much of an inconvenience and could not be fulfilled. 4. Had to pay 50 cents if I wanted sauce with my chicken tenders. 5. My daughter'a burger was cold. 6. No one ever came by to check on refills. I don't expect an A+ service at a dive bar on a Sunday night. I just expect some type of service even if it were bad service. We really got no service at all. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because over half out order was hot and correct, the bathroom was clean, the dining area was clean and it wasn't crazy loud.

Lunch was disappointing. Really? You won't give me lettuce (we can't give you any) to put on my mediocre cheeseburger, even though you sell salads? Stand here to read the menu, there to order your food, then over there to pay?

Used to be a regular there until I got food-poisoned on their wings. Also, the staff doesn't want attractive young women in there apparently (probably because they're pissed off that they don't look like that) and several times I went in there with a date, they'd act snobby toward us, go overboard with carding us, etc. And 40 minutes to get a burger and fries??? I guess we stumped the damn chef with such a complex order. Go to Schatze's. Better food, better service, and they're actually friendly there, what a novel concept...

I've been going to Cutters for about 15 years now and know the menu and prices better than most places. The food is very reasonably priced and they have a great beer selection for Belleville. If I were to label this bar, I would say it's a neighborhood bar with lots of regulars. If you're looking for quick, cheap lunch/dinner OR want to get a group of family/friends together for some drinks on Saturday night, go to Cutters.
