This really is the best fast food option out there. This place is really clean. I love the chicken burrito bowl and salad where I order double beans, fajita vegetables, chicken, red tomatillo and mild salsa, lettuce, and then a HUNK of GUACAMOLE (T PAIN SNAP YA FINGERS...DO DA STARE?). Or should I say...pass that guaaacccamollle. If you understand that reference, you graduated from HS between 2007-2010. They have a shortage of pork right now at all locations. This doesn't concern me since I usually get chicken or steak. Eating here makes me so happy. I remember in high school I could pound two burritos with rice, beans, cheese, and sour cream. It probably was about 2000 calories. There's a reason I used to be 225 LBS. of chunky! Now, I am 175 lbs. and am obsessed with Chipotle. I've been getting it for my lunch, snack, and dinner since my apartment flooded. THANKS NEIGHBORS! I want to stuff my face with guacamole. heap, quick, and somewhat healthy. Go to right down the road from where I live. I don't need to drive on Rt 59 to get there! THANKS OBAMA!

I feel like this location is always really busy. That leaves little parking in the already cramped lot and little to no cleaning of the restaurant or upkeep during dining hours. Although everyone is really friendly and the service of food is fairly quick, they could use an extra hand to man the restaurant area. Chipotle food is always good but I'll continue to whine about the price of guac. It goes up every time I turn around, so I started to boycott. Although it's so damn good. #firstworldproblems

Very disappointed in my experience last night at this location. My burrito bowl was wrong. The portion size on EVERYTHING was half that of other locations. I had to ask for more rice & corn, and should have asked for more meat. When i got home, i noticed a lack of flavor in my food. The smokiness of the chicken was nonexistent. The rice didn't have it's normal salty tang and the tomatoes almost seemed watered down. Lastly, the customer service was bad. The ladies behind the counter seemed clearly annoyed. Not sure what the deal is, but i will not be going back to this location.

I am a huge chipotle fan and have been at this location a number of times since it's near my house and close to the shopping centers. Their service is great but the last few times I have noticed their portions are about half the size as other chipotle. I always get the burrito bowl and can tell easily that it is no where near how other chipotle make it. If their portions were normal I would easily give them 5 stars but because they charge the same amount and hold back on the servings I have to give 2 stars.

The steak bowl salad with brown rice and fajita topping was tasty. Top it off with a dash of chipotle tobasco sauce gives the salad a nice kick!

This location is by Meijer. The parking is just terrible on weekends, but since we like the food we put up with it. We went on a recent Saturday at around 3 pm and were surprised at how many people were lined up. Very clean, good vegetarian options, fast staff assembly line, and quality food served fast. We especially enjoy the extra hot sauces and lemon/limes at the silverware/drinks area that top our meals nicely (particularly the chipotle Tabasco sauce).

We decided to give this Chipotle another chance, being summertime everyone likes to enjoy some great food outside. Unfortunately yesterday's visit was another disappointment. Last year my boyfriend and I stopped going to this location after an unforgettable experience on the patio. As we ate our burrito bowls outside there was a female employee at the table next to us possibly on a break. She was smoking and talking on her cell which was rude and unappetizing considering she took up a whole table that more customers could be sitting at. On top of that she was spitting on the ground which got caught by the wind landing on her uniform. Gross. We gladly travel the extra 10 or 15 minutes to the Naperville/Plainfield Chipotle next to Five Guys. The employees are always upbeat and welcoming and never stingy on the portions. Great service. Yesterday trying the Fox Valley location again, they gave us what looked like 8 little cubes of chicken and when we ask for a slight bit more, of course we were both charged extra chicken. Other reviews on waiting for ingredients that are not ready is accurate. Will not be returning or recommending this location. The 2 stars was a stretch for a convenient location.

Worst Chipotle Store ever!!!! They over charged my bill. I ordered 4 steak burritos and they count 5. The manager said that was my mistake because I move the order to the table. Well, I paid for the order and just realized it after I sat down. I'm supposed to be the one that got upset, instead of her. In the middle of finishing our dinner they closed down the drinking fountain without any warning. Then, they start flickering the light to make their customers panic and finished their food fast. (it is not even 10 PM yet) There were about more than 10 people that are still trying to finish their foods. We love going to Chipotle but I guess not at this location. Workers at this location is extremely lazy plus supervisor/ manager support that lazy workers. This happen tonight (11/27/2013 @ around 9:30PM). Hopefully they will replace the manager soon.

Yum! I tried the barbacoa burrito today, a must for pork lovers and a "eh, maybe" for chicken fans. I usually get the chicken, but a few times I've gotten some dry and fatty chicken in my burrito. The barbacoa has a lot of flavor, but I was in a deep, deep food coma after I finished. Not for the light lunchers! Staff is friendly and gives you extra if you ask. Extra cheese, please! And no extra charge! The guacamole is my favorite, and the chips has a nice salt/limey flavor. Not like oversalted Tostitos. Watch out - this parking lot is cramped and gets hectic during lunchtime and table space can be limited. Be prepared to take your food to go.

This location of Chipotle needed some help: - no barbacoa prepared - no ice in the pop dispenser - most of the tables were dirty - the burrito didn't taste that great because the chicken tasted like it had been sitting around for a while I haven't had Chipotle in 2 years; based on this trip, I haven't been missing anything. The only reason this isn't a one star review is because I know Chipotle to have been good in the past so I know there's potential in there, but all the same I'll try Qdoba next time I'm in the mood for a burrito.

Been to this location several times. Food quality and service is always top notch. The most recent trip threw me a little though. It was really nice out so I decided to eat on the patio. There was one other customer out there sitting adjacent to me. I'm eating away at a delicious burrito bowl and then two Chipotle associates come out to the deck to sit down and have a meeting. I can over hear the discussion about critiquing another associate's leadership skills and development. About 2 minutes into their meeting, railing about another co-worker that just doesn't get it, the "leader" of the discussion lights up a cig. Me and the other customer on the patio are downwind and get blasted with continuous smoke mid-meal. Yummy, Ammonia flavored mexican food! I try to look over to give them the "eye" and they're completely oblivious. After a couple more minutes of the "leader" smoking and talking the talk about leadership, they stand up to go back inside and the smoker flicks his cig butt into the parking lot right in front of the store. If you want to have a smoke on your break, all the power to you, but don't do it around your customers that are eating their $9 burrito. And at least throw your butt away responsibly. Have some self-awareness and class.

Heck Yes, it gets 4 stars. It's delicious. The staff here are super fast burrito makers so the line moves quickly. they don't skimp on the toppings and are quite friendly. The place is always clean and I believe most of their packaging is recyclable and made from recycled materials.

Okay--I am obsessed with Chipotle. Next door is Panda Express and I can't even look at it because how can you even compare!? I get the burrito bowl with the healthy chicken, black beans, little medium and hot salsa, sour cream and cheese. I also get a large tortilla at the side. Already hungry! It turns out to be $7 dollars something..and it's close to 1200 calories so I only eat half and save half for the next day. Fast service...can be busy! BUT SOOOO Good. My favorite lunch time spot.

I love chipotle and my love has grown since they recently added brown rice to the menu! I can now indulge and not feel bad about it. The place is super clean and the staff is great. They work quickly when there is a huge line and give you a ton of food. I've never had a problem with them screwing up my order. I guess I'll give props to the new staff for always getting my order right. The food is amazing. I love the burrito bowl, it's not as messy as getting the burrito and the ingredients are super fresh. Awesome place to go get a quick bite to eat.

I've been to a couple of locations for Chipotle and I like the food. I stopped in here last night for a quick dinner. I ordered a chicken and black bean burrito, chips and guacamole and a small drink and it was $11.50. While I liked what I got, and I did save half for lunch today, I think that's quite a lot for one person for one meal (even though I'm making mine into 2)...This is in comparison to what I usually spend at other "fast food" places. The service was great, and the wait was short, and the tables were clean. The chips were fantastic! I like the guacamole and the burrito. All in all, I will come back (though the parking is ridiculous as mentioned) but it probably wouldn't top my list because of the cost.

I used to go to Chipotle all the time back at home and this was the first one I've visited in Chicagoland. I must say that I was slightly disappointed. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite crowded. The parking lot was a pain. It's too small. I can't imagine how busy the parking lot would have been if it was actually lunch time! There was no line when I got inside but there were lots of people grubbin'. I thought about getting my usual salad but I was craving carbs so I went for the bowl. I watched as the server scooped up the rice and it was unusually clumpy looking. She tried her best to unclump it with the big spoon but failed. It was still in clumps when I sat down at home to eat it. Another big thumbs down for the weird looking corn salsa! Maybe it's cause y'all use white corn over here instead of yellow corn, but it just looked really pale and unappetizing. It also wasn't as spicy as I'm used to. I was extremely sad because that's usually my favorite part. At least I got my small plastic container to take home some chipotle tabasco. If you haven't tried it, you must! The bowl filled my tummy, but not my soul. I'll have to try one of the other dozens of Chipotles in the area.

This is going to sound really weird but...this Chipotle is our favorite! I've eaten at the one in d-town n-ville, the one on butterfield in lisle, the one in bolingbrook..Always disappointing in comparison to this one. So here's what I say, if you said you didn't like Chipotle, try this one! The food there is always super super fresh, much more so than the others I mentioned. It's probably the high turnover, but it's really worth it. The guac is always great & fresh. Everything except the flour tortillas are gluten free. I always get..xtra blk beans, no rice, xtra veggies, medium tomatillo salsa, easy cheese, easy crema(sr cream) & guac. Then I eat it with tortillas at home, you can easily get 4 or 5 tacos out of it. Anyways, try this one & see if you like it better. Also, please notice this weird phenomenon: when going into Chipotle, Panda Express smells great, after coming out, it smells so gross..Yummy mexican sensory overload? I think so.

As much as I love Chipotle, I can't give this location more than 3 stars. The parking is overcrowded during lunch rush. The people working give really small portions compared to other locations. I had to ask for double chicken in my burrito just to get it equal to the norm for most other locations. The "assembly line" was really slow and disorganized. By the time my order made it to the register they lost track of the double-chicken (which partly made up for the small portions). The location on Diehl is much better. Despite the irritation with the parking and people, the food was as good as ever.

I'd give it five stars but there's a lot of new employees now and they don't make my order the way they use to. It still does not stop me from going once per week

Hand Down best new quick serve restaurant in the past 20 years! Neo-Mexican served Sub-way style. OMG I get so pumped up when I start thinking about it. The burrito bowls are great and the Guacomole is even better! Let me give you a recommendation for your Burrito Bowl: Easy Rice Black Beans Chicken Corn Salsa Mild Salsa/Fresh Tomato Sour Cream Cheese Guacamole Eat it! You LOVE IT!

This is my third go to spot for issues related to constipation. I have no idea if it's the salsa or the chicken, but it never fails that I am speeding back to work. The food actually tastes good when going down, but I would like it to stay there for at least a few hours. I am not alone in this observation.

No lines early on a Sunday, but the girl working the line was super rude and stingy. After I called her out on giving me less guacamole than if I had ordered it on the side - she scooped it out of my bowl with some other things that got stuck to the guacamole and after seeing it was less - THREW OUT the container and put guac in another container! So rather than giving me the amount of guac that I'm paying for they would rather throw out a container and the stuff from my bowl to prove I was right!!! RUDEST, dumbest way to run a business... Is the staff trained to scoop with diva attitudes???!! Do not go here!!!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
