Update: I spent some time back at home in Seattle. Came back to Moscow for a visit. I amend my statement. The Breakfast Club would get 5 stars in the city as well as in a small town like Moscow. This place is even better than I remembered! I ate here twice in three days. Loved it both times. Good food and service. I managed to order the wrong thing and the server was able to get it exchanged - I really appreciated that since I was the one who ordered wrong! It's also been through a renovation since I was there earlier. A nice facelift on the place. All in all, I will be sorely missing the Breakfast Club. This place is the best!

Super good food! Only reason they lose a star is there is often a long wait

A great local place to get breakfast and lunch. They have all the traditional favorites and some interesting variety. Fairly priced for generous portions. It is very comfortable, not too casual, and not at all pretentious. It's packed on game days so get there early!

Their bacon is what DREAMS ARE MADE OF (I hope you dream about bacon, too). So crisp and so yummy; crumbly like a leaf at the end of autumn. Ha. Poetry about bacon, what is better? I usually get the Eggs Benedict, the huckleberry french toast, the chocolate chip pancakes, or the oatmeal. All are BOMB and gluttonous and wonderful.

It is great fining a local joint serving delicious food and being able to avoid the chain breakfast places. Food here is outstanding. Service is good. It can be a bit noisy when busy but I don't mind that at breakfast, after all this is not a formal dinner.

I visit Moscow a couple of times a year and always try to schedule my travels to enjoy breakfast at The Breakfast Club. I discovered it by accident several years ago. I am a huge fan. They have all the normal breakfast items and several unusual, but tasty, items. My personal favorite is the huckleberry zucchini bread french toast - no syrup needed! You get a generous portion for the price. It is sweet enough to remind you it is a breakfast treat, but not so sweet that you feel like you have to stop eating before the entire plate is cleared. Bacon is very good, sausage is good, too. Coffee is hot and plentiful. Service is pretty good considering it is mostly staffed by college kids in this college town. If you visit the Moscow/Pullman area, stop by. I do not think you will be disappointed. I will definitely stop by during my next trip! Go Vandals!

Good food, good service, good prices. We arrived early (8:15 am ) on a Sunday but only had to wait a short time (15 min). They considerately have self serve coffee for you wait. Our table had Greek Omelet,Idaho Gold Potato pancakes & a stuffed biscuit gravy egg dish (can't remover the name).

OK, so I was in love with this place, but have fallen out. While I still REALLY like The Breakfast Club, those that have gone with me recently have not. It is difficult to want to discuss the good breakfast we just had when others are complaining.

Absolutely wonderful and I plan to come back here often! They were packed and the service was still perfect. Our server was Ahmer and he was so friendly and nice. Always had a smile on his face and willing to work to make my mom's order more began-friendly. I ordered the blush mimosa and the French toast Benedict. It was so delicious!! I recommend pushing all the hash browns into the hollandaise sauce and mixing everything together. The prices were really reasonable and the mimosas were $4.99 but huge! Everything was worth the price and the atmosphere was fun and friendly.

I wish we had known about this place, this is our new favorite breakfast spot. It's worth the drive from Pullman. great service, very full breakfast menu and a full coffee bar. The food was very good

Fabulous! Ordered the avocado, egg, red onions, sprouts, tomatoes, bacon sandwich. Out of this world good. Also order the huckleberry zucchini bread, even if you can't it in now. That one is a must! We'll be back!

I I was very disappointed with my hard eggs yolk broke and flat hashbrowwere to over done I really felt like for the price the portions were small The service was great and love getting a text message when my table is ready

What a menu! Great food, but very large portions. You might want to split a breakfast. Happy and friendly service, including a real barista for coffee. We waited 30 min on a Saturday, but worth it. Farmers market just out front on Saturday. What a treasure in Moscow!

This place is a solid 4 1/2 stars. We recently visited Pullman for the first time to witness my baby brother graduate from WSU Mothers Day Wknd. Since we stayed at an adorable farmhouse in Moscow on the way home we decided to grab breakfast before the long drive. I of course Yelped to find a place to eat- however my parents new this place well so this is where we decided to eat for Mothers Day Brunch. The wait for a party of 12 was of course long- 1 1/2 hrs - which we didn't mind. They provided coffee outside for those waiting. Once seated- the food didn't disappoint. They provided fun doodles for the kids to keep themselves occupied and they were quick to take orders since we all knew what we wanted. They had excellent service- from the front door to the servers- they were all friendly and you could NOT sense any fluster or irritation although it was super busy. My husband and I both ordered "The Breakfast Club"- which essentially is a croissant with bacon, egg, cheese and ham, salsa- with hash-browns. Bacon was crispy, eggs fluffy, cheese melted just right. The hash browns had just enough amount of crisp to them. We also ordered a side of waffles to split and they were tasty, light and fluffy with just the right amount of powdered sugar. Their mimosas were on point with the perfect amount of champagne and oj. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed out meal here. If this place wasn't 6 hrs away- we may consider a return- but being a mom to 4 young kids- i don't foresee a return to the area sadly- but if we do- you bet we will come eat here.

Average diner food you can find basically anywhere. The bigger tables are great, but avoid being seated at the small tables or you'll be praying that your plate doesn't fall in your lap. Also, they recently raised the price on the veggie omelet which was off-putting. My suggestion: try the breakfast at Bloom over this place. Far better quality food for the same price.

  • Valerie H.

Food is fantastic, service was quick. Never had to ask for refill on hot water for tea. I had the burrito with no hash browns and gravy on side. Hub had stuffed biscuits and gravy. Coming back should we pass this way again!

  • Geoff A.

No better place on earth for breakfast. My personal favorite is the Country Style Benedict (biscuits and gravy with sausage). Their country gravy is perfect, and the hash browns are cooked "just right". This place is always busy, and with good reason.

  • Jason S.

Nothing but good things to say. Prices are reasonable, portions are large, my three meet omelet is for real not some half a attempt. Vandal hot sauce very good; glad someone uses something besides tobasco. Didn't freeze us out. Coffee is good. Staff is friendly and professional.

The best brunch place I think in Pullman and Moscow. Try their pancakes.

  • Serenity H.

The cinnabun pancakes are to die for. Such a cute place to have a date, great food and good serving size for the price. Plenty to choose from, and although there tends to be a wait, they will text you when youre table is ready which is sooo convenient.

The last time I ate here it was several saturdays ago there is typically a 1 hour wait when students are in town. We had to wait 30 minutes to be sat at a small table that was uncomfortable to sit at due to the fact there was hardly any room for our coffee mugs or food plates. The service was awesome, quick and there was always refills on water and coffee. I had the country skillet and my fiance had his usual dish and we were both happy. The food is delicious it is not a fancy place it is casual and very upbeat now. I saw past dissapointed reviews I recommend trying it out again if you haven't been back since 2014 or 2013. The only thing that bothers me is that whenever you dine with only 2 people you can't ever get a booth. My fiance and I always have to sit on these hard chairs while people with children get dibs on the booths. I wish they would remodel and make all the seating with booths, take out some tables so it is more comfortable and not all about cramming people shoulder to shoulder.

I've had a few terrible experiences at this place which is a shame because it seems to be one of Moscow's steeples. Ordering to go is an awful idea, they usually forget the sides and the food is generally cold. It sucks when you're so excited to get a delicious breakfast but then it turns out cold and half of what you paid for isn't even in the bag. Over this place, definitely trying Bloom.

  • Jack G.

Everything a breakfast should be. Quick, with good service, and the meal was excellent. The huckleberry zucchini bread was especially good. The menu had many options to choose from and everything we had was great. Will definitely come back for more!

You may have to wait a bit for a table, but it's worth it! Plus, give them your name and cell phone # and check out some of the little shops nearby. They'll text you when your table is ready. I think they under price their food. Based on price alone, I expected smaller portions, but you get very generous servings. Because of this I tend to order different items (half order of their breakfast favorite - eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast AND their apple pancake - topped with cinnamon apple sauce and honey cream cheese). The huckleberry zucchini bread may sound odd, but it's a must-try. I take some to go. That and I love the Vandle Sauce. If you like hot sauce, try it. Then take a bottle home. Bonus: Bar none excellent service every time!

Not just a good place to eat but an icon of downtown. Probably the only place in town left that has that north idaho diner feel. Wonderful food fast service, family friendly but also somehow stately. Daily specials vary from the zany to the classy to just simple comfort food but all done with an eye to quality and large portion sizes.

From the moment my group walked into this quaint eatery and asked for a table for eight...and they smiles and said sure, I knew good this were to come. They did not disappoint! My challah French toast was very good and the bacon was the best I have ever eaten. I even tried some famous Idaho huckleberries - awesome! I really wish it wasn't a couple thousand miles from home. Go there if anywhere close by for breakfast

Very good breakfast and GREAT COFFEE! Had the ultimate veggie omelet. Came with tomatoes and I'm not a fan but they were minimal and overall it was GREAT!

We stopped in on a week day morning and there wasn't a big crowd. Staff was super quick to us and it took us awhile to settle in on eats. I should have tried something a little more adventurous, but ended up with just eggs and some pancakes. There wasn't anything special about my meal, except the pancakes were huge and I could only finish one of them. The person serving us was friendly and efficient. I'll have to pop back and try this place again but order something different next time.

Delicious breakfasts here. I really like their omelette and their eggs Benedict. It's always a wait at this restaurant for sure, but for their flavorful hot and filling breakfasts it's totally worth it. The staff are super friendly and it's the interior is very quaint and welcoming. A must try if you're in Pullman or Moscow.

Ok, we went here for breakfast during Mom's Weekend at WSU so every place had a long wait time for seating. We put our name in the list and they said it would be about 45 minutes. Sure enough at about 45 minutes we got a text saying our table was ready. We were able to get some window shopping in at the many surrounding shops while waiting. Once we got seated our waiter was great, our omelets were fantastic. In the end the wait was totally forgotten about as our complete satisfaction with the food and service took over.

Lively breakfast place. Yummy eggs benedict and hash browns. Delicious coffee. Friendly and welcomming staff. Wonderful place to chill on a Moscow morning before checking out the farmers market. Although wait is long, scrumptious food is worth it.

My family and I love this place. Super friendly staff, magnetic boards for drawing for the kids, and excellent food. It's packed every time we go and there's a reason for that. Delicious!

After visiting the Farmer's Market during our first ever visit to Moscow, we didn't know where to eat. A local told us to give this place a try. We weren't disappointed. They definitely have some good breakfast options. My wife got their Green Eggs and Ham (a pesto-based creation), the kids had some chocolate chip pancakes in the shape of a bear, and I had a good traditional eggs benedict. We did have to wait a bit, because it's a popular place, but they will get your cell phone number and text you when your table is ready.

Extremely average breakfast food and service. I hate to sound like a total snob (and now that I've said that I will sound like a snob). But I LOVE breakfast and I hail from Portland, OR where we take our breakfast VERY VERY seriously. That being said when I am looking for a new place to eat breakfast and I see 4/5 stars I am going to try it out pronto. My boyfriend and I went here a couple months ago on a weekday mid-morning. There was no wait. We were seated at a cozy little table and I was happy to see cute chalk signs with specials hand-written out. The staff, I had noticed were all gathering together around a computer station and gossiping about switching shifts and whatever else. Then we waited... after waiting a bit to get water we heard the specials and ordered coffee. This again took quite some time to get to us which I didn't understand considering it wasn't busy at all. Our server was a younger guy and seemed new to serving so I didn't mind the slower service. Once we finally ordered and recieved our food I took a bite into my huge breakfast burrito and was.... underwhelmed. You know when you eat something that is a mixture of a bunch of different foods and all the flavors should stand out but don't. Thats what happened. It just tasted like pepper-egg mush. Once I added a little hot sauce it was definitley better, however once I looked around at some other people breakfasts I was wondering if it was possible I just made a wrong choice with the burrito. That all being said this is why I gave The Breakfast Club 2/5 stars instead of 1/5. I will definitely come back to give it a second chance and see if I recieve a better experience.

Consistent, well priced and delicious. Avoid weekend mornings if you don't want to wait because there is no where else to eat in Moscow.

This place is packed! Food is reasonably priced and big portion. Servers are very attentive. Love the biscuit/gravy and Belgian waffles I ordered, so fluffy! It's worth the drive to eat over here as none of the Pullman's breakfast restaurants are good.

One of the best breakfast spots in the inland northwest. Creative omelettes, and always something new on the menu to try. And free coffee if/while you wait. Legit, check it!

I love the Breakfast Club! Second time eating there, the line was very long but they got us in much faster than expected. I love the text notification that your table is ready. The food is fabulous and the wait staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant when in Moscow. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's always so full you have to wait outside. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in town!

Lori and Kevin Clary did it right with the Breakfast Club. The place is clean, reasonably priced, and the food is good. They've been going strong for fifteen years or so at this point, and never fail to attract a crowd. The price is right, they get the best raw materials available locally and from suppliers willing to deliver to Moscow, ID, and train their wait staff and cooks well. They acquired Pete's over in Pullman not too long ago and renamed it Birch and Barley, and I expect that to be just as good. It ain't haute cuisine, just good solid fare at a reasonable price.

I have only eaten here for breakfast, though I hear they also serve lunch. The breakfast is the best around. They have stuffed biscuits and gravy which is biscuits cut in half with eggs and bacon in the middle, covered in in-house made sausage gravy. When I ate meat, this was ALL that I ate. However, now that I am a vegetarian, I chose their greek omelet and the ultimate veggie omelet, both of which are FANTASTIC. The prices are reasonable, especially if you order off their specials menu. The service is usually really quick and the atmosphere is homey, like grandma is cooking for you. I met the owner in one of my hospitality classes at WSU and he is a really great guy, with a great business plan. If you are ever in Moscow in the wee hours of the morning, this is the place to stop!!!

We got there around 9 am on a Saturday. Apparently it was also the University of Idaho's Dad's Weekend. We had to wait about half an hour or so outside for a table. They do have a table setup outside with coffee and water though. It was pretty busy and once we were seated it took a couple minutes before our waitress came over with water but after that she came by regularly to collect our drink and food orders and to check up on us. The food didn't take too long to come out. I got the Bavarian omelette and my boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy dish. The omelette was okay. It came with hash browns and zucchini bread with huckleberries. Might I say the zucchini bread was delicious? And you can't really go too wrong with hash browns. The biscuits and gravy dish had egg and hash browns in it and seemed like a good choice. The gravy was pretty yummy. The atmosphere was pretty neat too, the ceilings were high and what I assume to be ventilation was covered nicely in wood. The place was pretty bustling but not too loud. It was easy to hold a conversation. The seating was a combination of booths and tables. One thing that was slightly annoying was that where the servers put in the orders and did a lot of things was one of the main thoroughfares to getting to your table and it got a little congested. After we were done, the waitress dropped off our check and we paid up at the front. Easy peasy.

I came here this time for their lunch/sandwich menu and got the chipotle bbq sandwich, and my friends got the mushroom burger and omelettes, with a red pepper bisque mmmm!! Other times I came here for brunch foods and I would typically list off what delectable items I ordered, but honestly, everything here is always so darn delicious!! I come here again and again and again... and I always leave a very happy camper. Just a fair warning though, you can't avoid the carbs and it's sooo delicious! (oh, screw the diet!)

We came at a perfect time, on a perfect day. No waiting. Started our breakfast adventure with mimosas all around. I got the classic mimosa which wasn't too bad, but i could tell that the champagne was of the cheaper type. My friends ordered the party mimosa which comes with oj, cran, and grapefruit (i think) juice. That tasted better than mine. For breakfast I ordered the platter, warning it's for bigger appetites! It comes with: two thick slices of bacon, two German sausages, two eggs, two biscuits with gravy, and two alka seltzer for indigestion (kidding)... Oh and you get to choose from their delectable huckleberry zucchini bread, or toast. Obvious choice there. Oh and since I was going all out, I asked to get my hash browns deep fried... Best. Decision. Ever. Breakfast was so good that it beats anywhere Pullman/ Moscow has to offer. My friend had their cinnamon roll pancakes, and OMG... They were delicious! Too bad I ate my entire platter, or I would've finished her pancakes too! Service was awesome, and I have no complaints whatsoever. Keep up the good work!

This is your standard breakfast joint. Problem is, everyone and their dog wants to eat here on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The food is a little above average and hits the spot after a rough morning spent regretting decisions made the night before. Try any of the Benedict options. Their hollandaise sauce is killer.

I am not a breakfast food person...not at all! So I was skeptical when I first went to the Breakfast Club so many years ago. But the food here is AMAZING! They even offer lunch food! I am never let down when I go. I like the Main Street Stack, Eggs Benedict, and the Huckleberry Zucchini Bread of course! They have pancakes as big as your face, and cinnamon rolls to satisfy even the fiercest sweet tooth! The service is great, the atmosphere is cozy and warm and they open early enough that even the earliest of birds can stop in before work! I now love in Seattle and miss this place dearly! I have tried very hard, and although I have found other breakfast/lunch places, none compare to The Breakfast Club!

This was the first place I ate when I came to Moscow and it became a huge part of why I love the place. Great food, great portions, reasonable prices, and upbeat and friendly staff make this the best restaurant in Moscow. Only drawback is that it can get pretty crowded and often, on weekends, people have to wait. However, the resaurant provides free coffee for those who are waiting. Could not love this restaurant more!

When you're visiting family in a small town, this is the sort of place you want to go for breakfast. It's uncomplicated, no-frills diner food. We went here twice for breakfast while in Moscow. Both times, our servers were prompt and friendly. The place has a pretty standard diner feel--lots of booth seats, simple decor--but I never hold ambience against a restaurant as long as it's clean and the food is good. You're probably not going to get anything here that will blow your mind. Obviously, I didn't have a chance to try everything on the menu, so I can't speak definitively about that, but the food I had was average. That said, it's bacon, eggs, pancakes, omelettes, eggs Benedict, etc. Standard breakfast fare. I was not overly thrilled with the zucchini bread. I thought it was a bit dry and meh, but it's a quick bread, so I wasn't expecting it to be incredible. Otherwise, though, the food was well-cooked and everything was as it should be. One member of our party got the steak and eggs and was very pleased with his meal--apparently, they cooked the steak just right. Another person got the basic eggs Benedict, and they said it was okay. Not incredible but nothing to complain about either. Overall, I'd say that if we find ourselves in Moscow again, we'll definitely come back. Nothing wrong with your basic family-friendly diner.

Visiting from Seattle. Decided to try this place on a whim. It's really hard to screw up breakfast fare and thankfully, they don't. Although I am putting my big-city reviewer hat aside, this place still measures up to some of the uber cafes in Seattle. In our first visit, we tried their buttermilk pancakes, potato pancakes, and an eggs Benedict. All dishes met or exceeded our expectations. The pancakes were of decent size and fluffy albeit unspectacular. You must order either the real Vermont maple or the huckleberry or other flavored syrups because the house brand of flavored corn syrup is one of the worst I've ever tasted. Don't ruin your breakfast with it!! The potato pancakes were quite good. A nice blend of cheese, potato, onions, & bacon fried to a golden brown. Their regular hash browns were also well done. The eggs Benedict was tasty and the sauce did not kill it or cover up anything that deserved to be. The bacon was also good. Our server was obviously a student and he was attentive, friendly, accurate, and a pleasant addition to the meal. The ambiance and entire wait staff were excellent. Everyone was smiling, friendly, attentive and on top of things. I suggest you give this place a try. We will be going back tomorrow to confirm our first impressions.

A new friend that I met in Moscow took me here for breakfast as he said it was the best place in town! I got the zucchini-huckleberry french toast dish and it was AMAAAAZING!! Finger lickin' good, I tell you. I don't even usually like french toast, but this was different. I recommend it if you stop in here. The reason for 4 stars - the interior/decor of this place is so outdated and I love going somewhere with a cool atmosphere...this really missed the mark on that. Second reason, there really aren't a lot of options if you don't like eggs and you don't eat meat. But I guess I can't really hold that against them since I ended up with a delicious meal.

I love to go out for breakfast more than any other meal and have been to hundreds of restaurants across the country and in other countries for that matter. I would have to say that my green chile and poached egg breakfast over jalapeno cornbread was the best meal I've ever had at a breakfast restaurant. The food is delicious, and the portions are appropriate (not gigantic). I have been back twice and look forward to passing through Moscow in the future to stop there again.

The BEST breakfast in Pullman or Moscow! The zucchini bread is ah-mazing; the BEST cure for a hangover is the stuffed biscuits & gravy. I guarentee you will feel 10x better after eating that! Don't waste your time with Old European (nothing special and expensive for what you get) or Tam's...venture over to Moscow for the best! We still go here everytime we go back to Pullman for a game.

The Breakfast Club is a must-visit when you come to Moscow! Diverse selection, large portions, and hearty meals are what this place is known for. While it is not uncommon to find a long line and 45 minute wait when dining here it is well worth the wait. A warm family-style atmosphere is both snug and welcoming when you come in the door and the friendly staff and bustling business make it a fun place to have breakfast any day of the week.

Who doesn't love breakfast? If you can find such a person, he or she just might be a terrorist. This restaurant will satisfy your early-morning cravings and is a staple eatery of downtown Moscow. I've never been blown away by the food, but breakfast is more comfort food for me than something to make my loins tingle. Don't get me wrong, it's delicious, just not 5-star worthy. Be ready for a wait if it's a main-event college weekend, but other than that the line is usually acceptable.

Mildly lost in Moscow in the morning, it was breakfast time before taking a trip out back West by noontime. Out of all of the (mostly closed) spots around that Friday morning, it indeed seemed that The Breakfast Club was gonna be the best bet for, well, breakfast. Cue pangs of hunger as we enter the diner, it was time to indulge in the breakfast classics. Different permutations of eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, hash browns, and so forth, weaved their way through the menu. Favorite items were in boldface font, always helpful for those who need a bit of orientation. I went for the country-style omelette, something much like a biscuits, gravy, and sausage dish, served with hash browns. It was a good version of this dish. There was sausage interestingly cut up into the gravy, the meat wasn't integrated into the gravy like you'd expect. But it was more of a curiosity, as the gravy was very good, especially with a dash of the Vandal Pepper Sauce at every table. Service was good, the food came out much prompter than I expected, which is a good thing. The room was open and cozy, and overall, it was a nice little breakfast. Not bad at all.

I remember when the space the Breakfast Club now occupies was the Nobby Inn, which was a semi-swanky (for the Palouse anyway) restaurant, if only by virtue of the fact they served veal cordon bleu and Nick the bartender knew how to mix up a mean martini. But that was then. Today, it's a casual breakfast/brunch spot that seems to be doing quite well for itself based on the handful of visits I've had the pleasure of making. It still feels like the old Nobby Inn due to the fact that they didn't really change anything about the interior other than turn the lounge into additional seating. The service has been hit and miss, I suspect due to the staff being primarily students from UI or even Moscow HS during the summer, but the servers have been friendly and apologetic over things like long-empty coffee cups or forgotten toast, so it's largely forgivable. Food-wise, it's what you'd expect from farm country with lots of heavy, rib-sticking options like pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and chicken fried steak. You will find lighter options as well, but I think it's hard to wrong with good country cookin'. The Breakfast Club probably tends to stand out given that the only other real option for diner-style breakfast is Shari's, but at the same time it does deliver on solid, substantial breakfasts with fast and friendly (if occasionally inaccurate) service.

Typical morning place to enjoy breakfast. My in-laws live in Moscow so I frequent everytime I am visiting the town. We enjoy this place simple because the menu is reliable and good eating. I love the pancakes and the egg breakfasts. I had the eggs, hash browns, and ham plate yesterday and all of it was good----greasy---but good. I wish they would use Idaho fresh potatoes for their hash browns....but it's still good. The lunches are good too. I had the best cheeseburger I've probably ever had in my life here. Flame broiled, thick, and a great bun. The fries are also very delicious! I had leftovers for the next day. Good prices as well. You won't leave hungry!! The service is really friendly, and prompt. The staff was decorating for Christmas yesterday morning and everyone seemed tickled with Christmas spirit. Not much atmosphere besides booths and tables, but it's a popular place! Get there early!

After hearing amazing things about The Breakfast Club since I moved here, I finally had the chance to try it out today. I really wish I was hungrier when I went, but all that was on my slightly-hungover mind was the leftover thai food in my fridge at home. So I ended up getting an immense amount of coffee and a caramel nut roll. The roll was quite tasty, and cheap as well ($2.79). My dining companions both got The Platter, which looked amazing. Tons of food that they raved about. Everything on the menu looked delicious, and I cannot wait to go back here to try more things. The service was nice as well. They stayed pretty attentive and my coffee stayed full even though the place was packed with hungry after-church-goers and hungover college students.

This place is very popular, main reason being because there is no other place for a home-cooked Breakfast in this area. Expect to stand in a HUGE line, OUTSIDE. Their Service was good, the scrambled egg and country fried chicken/biscuit were good, but nothing special about them. They have their famous zucchini bread with homemade jam that comes with almost every meal, which I actually enjoyed more than my meal. I would go there again but not stay if there was a long line. I did like their cozy atmosphere though.

There are only a few breakfast options in town, but The Breakfast Club is definitely one of the tops. The weekends are crazy. The wait to get a table is usually about 10-20 minutes. That's just kind of standard so expect it. It's a rare lucky day when you can walk in and be seated right away. This is especially true when the Farmers Market is happening. Expect up to 30 minute waits. The service is ridiculously FAST! There have been many times in which I have ordered my mocha and breakfast at the same time and breakfast is served up so fast that the mocha comes to the table second. Usually we are unable to get through a game of backgammon by the time breakfast is served. I highly recommend the Kitchen Sink (egg/veggie/hashrown scramble with sausage gravy) or the Country Skillet which is chicken friend steak, egg, hashbrowns and your choice of bread. I suggest you go with the huckleberry zucchini bread. It's fantastic! Our one complaint is that the coffee is pretty weak.

Great food with local flavor! Prices are as cheep as, or cheeper, then the other chain "breakfast joints" and the portions are big. Only complaint is that is should be open all the time! If you plan on going on the weekend, be prepared to wait especially during the farmer's market or if school is in session.

This was decent. I had the potato pancakes and they were good, not great. The omelets were better. The huckleberry zucchini bread was good for a few bites but cloying thereafter.

We went for food here on Saturday around 1pm, it was really full but the staff rushed to get us seated. Our server didn't take long to help us out. She said that she could accommodate my food to make it gluten free. My wife got a fruit bowl and some eggs. I got The Homestyle (2 eggs, hash browns, sausage links and gluten free toast). It can be crowded and a little loud, the staff are super nice though and it is a fun place to eat.

Really the only place, thus the most popular place, to go for breakfast in Moscow. On a weekend morning, be prepared to wait for a table, which usually isn't that bad. They have coffee outside for you and you can mingle with your group or date. I do try to avoid it on Saturday's though due to the Farmer's Market. The food is fantastic, from unique omelets, potato pancakes and the french toast benedict. Always great service, lively atmosphere and a fair price for a very filling breakfast. Good morning Moscow!

The food was amazing, and despite being packed the service was fantastic. Be prepared for a long wait, but you won't be disappointed.

LOVE this place! super warm and friendly atmosphere. DELICIOUS menu. try the Monte Carlo ;) everything is really yummy. portions are generous. i always get a to go box. and its blasphemous not to get the huckleberry zucchini bread!! the only CON is that this place is so darn good, there's usually a line out the door on weekends..but they do provide you free coffee as you wait!

Moscow lacks a really good breakfast place. The Breakfast Club is a local standard, and for that, it deserves respect. The only other real full-service breakfast restaurant is Shari's (the less said about Shari's, the better). However, I have to say that aside from the popularity of TBC, the food really doesn't stand out. I wouldn't say I've ever had a very bad meal, but I've certainly never had an excellent one. The eggs are uniformly tasteless. The pancakes are standard-issue. The omelets are so dry, they have static electricity (and no truly good omelet can be dry). The sandwiches are all fine, but again, they don't stand out. Sides are all decent -- get the regional and seasonal fruits, if possible. If you don't mind the 15 minute drive across the border to Pullman, check out the far superior Old European restaurant on Grand.

The Breakfast Club has turned into the Breakfast Flub. This little eatery in the midst of poor quality food and service that permeates the Palouse, was an oasis for big city expats. What Happened? The pancakes, now "made from scratch" or so I was told, were inedible. I felt like Chevy Chase trying to eat the bone dry turkey in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, The patron next to me also sent his back. Not only that, the slab of ham that used to be a nice thick cut, now comes from, what it seems, a package of paper thin Buddig sandwich ham. All these items, and the eggs, came out on coffee cup saucer sized plates. The food was everywhere on the table and not on the plate where it belonges. What happened to the large ovals? This was not entirely a surprise. As consistent patrons every weekend and more for eight years, we have noticed a gradual decline in quality and service for the last few months or so. My wife's favorite of pesto eggs and ham went from a scrumptious plater of food to a skimpy saucer of tidbits. Obviously there has been a shake-up at the B.C. and unfortunately not for the better. Now we have to travel to Franks in Spokane or the Satellite Cafe for a decent breakfast, coffee, and better service all at a better price.

This place has better-than-average breakfast. Be on the lookout for a long wait on weekend mornings, but you'll see that there's a good reason for it.

Considering it's one of the only places in Moscown for breakfast, it's not horrible. It's just not good. Service is fine. Food is fine. The zucchini bread, however, is fantastic. I'll keep coming back, just for that!

I'm revising my review. Since my last review where I complained about the food not being hot in several visits, we went back today and everything was very tasty and arrived piping hot. The bacon is delicious, the scrambled eggs were tasty, my husband loved the eggs benedict and my sister really enjoyed the french toast. Even the hash browns were just right. I'm glad that they seemed to make a special effort to get it to our table before it had a chance to get cold. I'm glad I gave it another try because we like the atmosphere and it's such a convenient place for breakfast. No waiting on Monday around noon.

Here, here! The huckleberry zuchinni bread is absolutely awesome! I stopped in for breakfast before a job interview at the U of I and wasn't disappointed. I had a spinach/muschroom omelette that was very good, although I've been spoiled by the Original Pancake House. The huckleberry pancake that accompanied the plate was also good, but not great. The service was wonderful. Nice, friendly and attentive. When getting up to leave, the table next to me received three plates of food that was absolutely gorgeous. One looked like a pile of huckleberry french toast. I don't know what I was thinking of when I got an omelette. Their specialty seems to be dessert for breakfast, which I'm certainly a fan of. Anyways, I got the job, I'm moving to Moscow, and I'm looking for a place within walking distance of the Breakfast Club! **Update After a year in Moscow, The Breakfast Club is clearly the best restaurant in the Palouse. I go here at least twice a week. Gotta love it when the wait staff knows your name. To the menu. Sure, if you just order and omelette, eggs, bacon and toast, it's going to be a little bland. You can get all of those things from your fridge. But venture out and try their specialties and you won't be disappointed. Favorites include: stuffed biscuits and gravy, green eggs and ham, the monte cristo sandwich and any of the skillets.

The Breakfast Club is my #1 breakfast stop. I try to go every Sunday morning...and luckily I get up early and am there pretty much when they open because after that the lines are long. I have tried several of the omelet dishes (always with the huckleberry zucchini bread!) as well as some of the chicken-fried steak + eggs dishes, but the dish I get most often and recommend is [excuse me while I look around for any cardiologists looking over my shoulder...nope...not around] the french toast benedict. It's a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich made with french toast and smothered in hollandaise sauce. Service has always been good, coffee has always been kept hot and filled up, and the atmosphere is in line with its food: pretty darn nice.

I am definitely a repeat customer of The Breakfast Club. I've tried many things, my favorites being The Platter and their French Toast. The food is always tasty, the service is great and the place is clean. They're usually running a wait list on Saturday and Sunday mornings, so make sure to go with plenty of time. It is worth the wait and super tasty. Oh, one thing, I don't recommend their steak and eggs - not worth the money when other menu items are much better.

Yum! Be sure to have the potato pancakes. Walking by these guys every day, I always end up drooling at the specials as I go past.

A favorite of my wife's, so we make it here a few times a year even though we live in Lewiston. The service and food were still very good - though not excellent - during our last visit earlier this morning. The pancakes are ginormous. The waitress could be have a little brighter when it comes to very small children (we had to ask for a cup with a lid and a straw as opposed to the small glass she offered our four and two year olds). However, the waitress was very attentive, cheerful, and accommodating. Our order came surprisingly quickly and everything was just as we ordered. Easily my first choice for breakfast in Moscow.

As the naming convention states, this is a great place for breakfast. [Methinks it's been a Moscow, ID staple for over 10 years now... could be wrong, though.]

Its good food, the service is alright, they are insanely busy. They are open only early in the morning which is a pain, and it has a line often enough. At a college town it seems like bad business to market to the early bird college student...kinda rare.

I spent a couple of days in Pullman, WA, and people said that there's only two places for breakfast; this being one of them. I was pleasantly surprised by the creativity in the menu. They also make a point to use the State berry, the Huckleberry in quite a few of their dishes. I had the peach vanilla french toast, and the huckleberry zucchini bread with some beacon and eggs. Food is great, service is awesome. Definitely a WSU/UI standard.

I really LOVE the food here! I have never had a single thing that was not amazing. Its like going to eat at someone's house that is trying to impress you with their cooking. HOWEVER, they try to cram as many people as they can into their restaurant, way too many wobbly tables and uncomfortable chairs, and you get the sense they would like you to hurry up and move on so they could get another customer in your spot. Eat their food, but get it to go.

What an inventive menu! Brunch/breakfast is one of my favorite things so I was pleased at the variety of this establishment's restaurant. From their huckleberry zuchini bread you get with some breakfasts, to their green eggs and ham, to their innovative omelets and other breakfast options, this place was great. The omelet we ordered was a tad overcooked and the has browns were a little undercooked. But everything else was fantastic! Great service, pretty big place so the wait isn't too long.

Another rare gem I found in Moscow! I absolutely love this place. I ordered the biscuit and gravy and mmm am in love. It was superb. I can't wait to go back and order another breakfast dish.

Large portions, tasty food, reliable, friendly wait staff, great for a large party, families, booths, comfortable. The huckelberry loaf is a delicious alternative to toast, or an addition! The omelets are huge and tasty. Their specials are always inventive.

I've been here a few times and haven't been terrible impressed with it. The food is good, not great. Overall it's a decent experience but not worth waiting in line for (which is pretty well guaranteed on a Saturday or Sunday morning).

Moscow's best breakfast place. Always packed out on the weekends. Has a decent menu - the French Toast Benedict is a fav, and "The Platter" is great if you're really hungry. I prefer the Olde European in Pullman, but the Breakfast Club is a Moscow landmark.

Some damn good breakfast/brunch. It's always packed, but worth the wait. And the staff do a pretty good job, considering how slammed they usually are. Both basic and not-so-basic breakfast fare, all very well prepared and not too expensive. What more could you ask?

This is almost always where we eat the following morning (who am I fooling? Noonish) after partying in Moscow. I've never had a dish I didn't like, the coffee is fresh, and the wait staff is chipper and responsive. Make sure you get the huckleberry bread (we usually bring it home with us when we're done). The portions are usually adequate, and I don't think I've ever left hungry. Note that there's usually a line, but it's definitely worth it. Expect to pay around $15pp with coffee and OJ and a tip.

I do really like the Huckleberry Zucchini Bread and over all the food is decent. It's just not very original. I would love it if they served home fries, and just more scratch food. It seems like a lot of the food they serve is probably from mixes or prepackaged.

If you're looking for breakfast staples like eggs and pancakes, the Breakfast Club is nice and had a pleasant, casual atmosphere. Made the mistake of ordering oatmeal and instead of getting tasty steel-cut oats, I got lumpy sticky cafeteria oatmeal with dry brown sugar. Idk. Also, how can you be a breakfast joint and not offer mimosas?? Other than that, friendly service. Will return next time I'm in Moscow.
