I REALLY like customer loyalty programs - and Starbucks has it! The Star Rewards Program, in fact, even has a Bonus Special right now! If you puchase an item with your registered card, after 2pm, you will get an extra star! After every 12 Stars at the Gold Level (30 stars within 12 months), you get a free drink or food item! There are many other benefits such as a food or beverage item for your birthday; auto reload; and free refills; so just register your card and get going! This location is at the Windward City Shopping Center - near Foodland, Ross, First Hawaiian Bank, and McDonalds. It's a very convenient location and visible from Kamehameha Highway. It's easy to meet people here since another advantage is the free Wifi and easy parking. I have to thank Li (again) for getting me into the Starbucks groove. Mahalos, sis! ;)

This is definitely one of the better starbucks on the island. The workers are always so friendly and if you come here enough (pretty much everyday like I do) they'll get your name and order down in no time. Like any other starbucks, they are always busy during the morning rush. Try to avoid 7:15- 8:00am because that seems to be the worst time to come unless you enjoy standing in a line wrapped around the store. The thing that stands out to me the most is that this is the ONLY starbucks I know of that thinks of the customers first and automatically does each item as a separate order so that we can get our well deserved stars (and get our reward earlier!). Most places just get annoyed when you ask them.. I mean, if I'm buying 3 macchiatos, a muffin, and a breakfast wrap, that's just ridiculous if I only get 1 star for a $20+ order!! Haha but that's just me ranting.. The only reason I would give 4 rather than 5 stars is that sometimes there can be some pretty shady people just hanging out in or around the store. I've definitely been here on occasions where I am pretty sure the person next to me is experiencing delusions of persecution while yelling that the officers are after him.. Yeah.. But for the most part it's safe here. :P Edit: Some of the newer baristas seem a little more grumpy in the morning.. And they don't automatically do the multiple scan thing.. Hopefully they learn from the older workers.

Windward city starbucks will always bring a sense of home to me. This place is where I earned my first real paycheck. This place is where I learned how to be a great manager. This place is where I grew up. It hasn't changed one bit since I left almost 10 years ago. The customer service is always on point and I love starting my day off with a tall caramel macchiato.

Let me first admit - I am a starbucks whore. I love starbucks, and like most folks - can't get enough. I frequent the windward mall starbucks almost every day, and the employees they are always very sweet and helpful. My order is usually the same, as I order for my daughter and myself (and sometimes my husband). I've never had a problem - my experiences have always been pleasant. Fast-forward to this morning: my daughter and I went to a new location, as we had a function nearby. I order our usual, along with a Christmas ornament. The cashier prompts me to scan, and I do. Then she prompts me to scan again, for my second drink! And finally, she rings my ornament separate. She must have seen the look of surprise and incredulity on my face, because she sweetly explained that she did it that way so I could get all of the stars I deserved!! I was so impressed with that small gesture (that meant so much to me - stars are precious!)... Thank you to that phenomenal starbucks barista. You really made my day, and I will always remember this pleasant experience whenever I see my new ornament in my tree!

I asked for a Java chip light and after 4 attempts and 20 minutes of waiting they got it right. I didn't walk in asking for some crazy off the menu item but boy did it feel like I was imposing when I told them for the third time it was wrong! In the end the drink was right but the "1 star" is for the non apology I got after waiting that long. I walked in to avoid the drive thru line but it was like I was put on the back burner because at last 8 cars came and went while I waited and when I walked in no one else was ordering!!!

This is my favorite Starbucks location on the Windward side. It is located at the Windward City Shopping Center and there is lots of parking. I often come here to do homework since it's quieter than other locations and there are lots of places to sit and study. The baristas are quick and friendly and I haven't had any problems with any of my drink orders here. They close pretty early at 9:30 and are open til 10 on Saturdays.

I came on my lunch break & it took about 20 minutes of my time. There were about 5 people in front of me & the line was getting longer & longer. I almost didn't come in, but thought it shouldn't be too bad. The girl at the counter was nice (she has a hawaiian name), but the amount of time I had to wait was ridiculous. It wasn't only me who seemed to be bothered by it. By the look of some people's facial expressions you could tell they were irritated. On top of the long wait the girl making the drinks messed up on my order. She had to dump it out & make a new one. I've been here before, but more so in the afternoon & never have seen it that busy. I'm just hoping that maybe it was because of the time I went in. At least the girl was nice :)

Good coffee, friendly people. It's a chain restaurant, so don't expect anything unique. But this location was clean and had smiling faces and fresh tasty coffee. Can't ask for more than that :)

I dont have to say much about this place since its Starbucks, but I will have to give them 5 stars just for having a drive thru. When is town side going to have one??

The Starbucks is awesome you can be guaranteed that this cup of coffee when you go in there will be the best cup of coffee you will have the girls will always remember you if your regular and you can count on it being the best cup of coffee you have. Guaranteed to be Starbucks standard

Very friendly and excellent staff. The staff is very knowledgeable about their recipes. The store manager Kimberly has a excellent staff. She's very friendly and always has a smile for you. She and her staff are awesome!

I always enjoy the service at this Starbucks. I like the long table they have set up in the middle of the Starbucks, a kind of communal table like a throw back to rustic. My frappachino has been made correctly each time and the baristas have a friendly smile. I would like to see more options in the desserts it seems they are gone fast.

Starbucks Drive-thrus are few and far between. It's pretty awesome that the second one I've ever been to was here in Kaneohe. The baristas here are nice and there are an ample amount of tables, outlets etc. Parking is also plentiful, as they share a big lot with Longs, Jamba Juice, Teddys and Petco. This is your typical starbucks. Cofee, Tea, sandwiches, salads, muffins etc. If there is anything to complain about, it would be that sometimes, drinks are not made as quickly as usual because they are busy making drinks for the drive thru. But it's okay, if I'm in a rush, I'd just use the drive thru too! By the way, it is now 10 star dash season!! Sign up on your starbucks account to participate in this glorious scam! Lol. If you collect 10 stars before the 28th, you get $5 added to your starbucks card. :)

This location is at the Windward City Shopping Center. It is clean and not usually too busy. Even when there has been a line they are pretty quick to fill orders. There is a good amount of seating, though I was disappointed when they took away the comfy chairs. It's a smaller location, so be prepared for louder background noise if you're meeting someone to talk. The bathroom is usually kept quite clean and well-stocked as well. There is another Starbucks in Kaneohe down across from Windward Mall that has a drive-thru if you are in more of a hurry.

Mmmmmm my favorite is Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with caramel walls and drizzle. Oh yeah, don't forget the yummy whipped cream. Delicious!

I was in Kaneohe and needed a quick caffeine fix, I was about to order my coffee from McDonalds (gasp! I know but I was in a hurry..) when... Laaaaaaa and behold I see a Starbucks around the corner!! I walked as quickly and gracefully as possible to Starbucks to order the new vanilla macchiato. I tried it first at the ward location and absolutely fell in love with it, so I had to have one today. I walk in and the place is fairly clean and there was mentioned of a wet mop smell from previous comments, but thankfully there was none of that when I walked in. When I told the barista I wanted a vanilla macchiato, he told me they were out!!! I was actually surprised they would be out of stock. Since it's a new feature item, all the syrups to make it should have been their standard needed products.... Or so I would assume. Anyhow, needless to say I changed my order to a Caramel macchiato instead. The wait wasn't long, which I appreciated and the coffee tasted like what I'm used to from Ward's location. So why 3 stars: Minus one star: could not provide me with the drink I wanted that's the new promo item Minus one star: I was not greeted with the friendly service I am used to at all other Starbucks locations Would I come here again? Yes I would. If I'm ever in Kaneohe again and I need a caffeine fix I will be visiting to grab some java, but next time I will try the drive through for hopefully, faster service!!

I chose one star because I ordered a bacon artisan & when I ate my sandwich, there was no bacon or cheese in the artisan. I couldn't even go back because I had already left Kaneohe. Thanks Starbucks Kaneohe for my egg & bread.

So they are all very nice and friendly at this Starbucks, like most Starbucks. What I really like is that they are quick. And they rang up each of my drinks separately so I could get more reward points. What I don't like... Well more often than not, my cup feels lighter than other locations, like they don't fill it up all the way. Even when I say not room for cream and shit. Also my Chai Tea Latte tasted weak and actually aspartame-y at the end. I love chai spice. Though this could be bc I usually get the venti which I assume they use two bags for.... This is assuming they use bags and not the chai latte mixes that you can buy at the store.

I think of all the starbucks this one has the best crew members ever. They're all funny and loud, love it! Plus this one stays open a lot later than the other one in Kaneohe and it has way more tables and chairs, so great for studying!

Monday @ 6pm, here for a meeting with friends Oh my god! I am in love with this starbucks!!! Plenty of parking in the front. It was pretty empty being the fact that its after work rush hour and Foodland is right next door. It was pretty empty and tons of seating available. No one standing in line. Absolutely no one. So awesome! I ordered the usual skinny vanilla latte and it was great! I plopped down and waited for friends to arrive. The music was great and the ambiance was great, there wasn't that much noise from people sitting in surrounding area. we were there for an hour and it was awesome. didnt need wifi so idk about how strong the connection levels are.

I worked as a barista at this location for 3 years before transferring to the main location on Ward. I was so excited to hear that this location would be going through a much needed renovation. The smell of this location resembles one of a wet mop. It's a shame that even after the renovations (which I must say were beautiful) it still has that distinct wet mop smell. The baristas on the night shift are always pleasant and quick.

This is the Starbucks I normally come to when I do a day trip out to Kaneohe. It's right on the bus line right when you get into Kaneohe. I do agree with the other Yeeps about this place. Then again, most Starbucks' baristas are always cool about their patrons. Nowadays, I try to stay away from buying @ Starbucks, but come to know Starbucks as a place to just hang out, read, work, and just relax from the hell that is life. I love to use their free wifi and free electricity to charge my iPhone. And of course, at this location, free restroom use too. Just got to know the code. I know I sound like a mooch, but I have been a Gold Level member for Starbucks for at least a 1 1/2 years before trying to escape before doing any more damage. This place has also a drive-thru! I noticed this before, but didn't think much of it at the time. The ambiance is quiet to moderate noise, so you can do whatever you need to do here. Sometimes, people do talk loud, so its best to just tune them out and put on your head phones if need be. Whenever I come here (or any Starbucks), I feel a sense of belonging here, so I now come here when I am in the area or just any Starbucks to just chill out and be. Some of my best ideas come from just zoning out at Starbucks, so that's worth alot. (Aspiring novelist). :) Overall, this Starbucks is great - especially when they have a crazy drive thru operation. I'm sure it gets alot of use during the morning rush hour for sure! Highly recommended. Parking wise, they have a smallish parking area, but you can always use Windward City Shopping Center as your go to parking, if you need additional parking space. Then again, use the drive through for a McDonald's effect. Service is always fast and expedient, even though there is a long line. It is well worth the wait for great coffee. A+

Stopped by here while I was out for a drive. Knew they recently renovated so I was pretty excited to see how it came out. Overall pretty nice. A lot less small tables and much more bar type along the windows and one big table for students and their studies. I'm usually a big fan of SB because generally the baristas are friendly and greet you. But today was a big downer. There were 2 baristas and when I walked in, they didn't say anything. They just looked up and stared at me for a bit and went back to whatever they were doing. They weren't helping any customers so they weren't busy. I was half expecting a simple greeting or smile but, nothing. I smiled at the cashier waiting to take my order and he just kept staring at me like, "ughhh another customer." After I ordered, I used my SB app to pay for my drink and sat on the side to wait. They didn't call out my order when it was done so it sat for a few minutes while my frap melted. They could've atleast said something considering I sat where the counter wasn't fully visible. I eventually went up for my drink and the other barista just says blandly as I grab my drink, "have a good day." No smile, no thank you, no nothing. Pretty disappointed. All the other SB I usually frequent are nice and professional. Maybe its just an off day for them but none of the baristas seemed to be friendly at all. Its just a place to get your SB fix and dig out.

I frequent this Starbucks everytime. I love this Starbucks. I've been coming here since October '98. I love the coffee. I love the service. I love the. atmosphere and the barista/os are so kind and very detail oriented. I've never gotten a messed up order. And even if I did, the coffee would still be a great one. I'll be coming back again.

I'm a college student and I'm always looking for a place to study. As someone who built up their starbuck's gold membership on the Windward side of Oahu, I can honestly say that during the semester, starbucks is my second home. This starbucks is my favorite starbucks in Kaneohe. Even though there isn't as much seating as the starbucks across from the mall I prefer this location simply because of the staff. This starbucks has never gotten my order wrong and always have friendly customer service. My only wish is that they had more seats and stayed opened later.

It's just been renovated. I really like the location. After shopping at Ross it provides for a convenient stop to get a ice cold drink before heading home. Also, the workers/staff are super friendly as well. The side walk is getting renovated so you do temporarily have to walk around to get in which is kind of annoying but their drinks are so good, I don't mind.

Whenever I walk in here, I always feel a sense of welcome. The staff here are all so friendly and cheerful. I think i've only encountered one person who I felt shouldn't have been working there just cuz she didn't seem to fit in, but eh, she was okay. I like how their bathroom is coded and is always clean. Service is friendly and quick and makes u feel like you want to keep going back there every day.

There is a reason Starbucks has become a household name. Excellent coffee and GREAT Customer Service. I'm always here for my Vanilla Iced Coffee but I keep coming back for the people and atmosphere. Free Wifi, available seats, and nice view of Kaneohe. Drinks are made quick and the food is always fresh. I don't know what I would do without this place....Probably just make myself a crappy cup of coffee!! Although there are other Starbucks that offer the drive-thru service, this one wins for efficiency and accuracy. Not one wrong drink or slow service. Staff is always friendly and I will be coming back here as often as my schedule allows!!!

Awesome Awesome place. Never surprises me that everytime I go to this Starbucks and all Starbucks for the last 13 years, i am greeted by name and they already know my drink. I can't say enough about the friendly staff at this location. Oh by the way, they have the best turkey and swiss sandwiches anywhere. I know it sounds funny, but they really do.

My coffee is ALWAYS tasty when I go to this Starbucks. I don't come here often even though it's the closest one to my house. I think it's because I usually study at the other Starbucks. When I do come here, I do enjoy my experience. The workers here are always very friendly when I order. The baristas that hand out the drinks are also very nice and say, "Thank you" whenever I've been here. I would definitely recommend going to this Startbucks.

Why is this Starbucks worthy of five-star status? Because of the drive-thru my friends! When I used to live in Kaneohe I was blessed at one point with having the only drive-thru Starbucks in Hawaii right around the corner from my house. When you have two kiddies a drive-thru makes life so much enjoyable! I wish every Starbucks had a drive-thru attached to it. No unloading, no rebuckling and no whining! Order up your coffee at the drive-thru window and pick up your hot, fresh venti non-fat mocha and drink up! For those of you who would prefer to venture inside by foot this is a family Starbucks with lots of couples who come in to read the paper, Longs shoppers who need a caffeine fix and occasional study groups. Never really packed which is nice because you can always find a seat!

Service today was better. Last time must've been a fluke (crappy service). Got my order right and only waited a few seconds at the window for my coffee.

This is by far my favorite Starbucks location. I've been a customer at this particular Starbucks since opening day and I have also worked here less than a year ago. The crew at the Windward City Starbucks are amazingly efficient in drink quality and customer service. This is NOT the drive-thru location Located next to Windward Mall.

Just a point of clarification here... sounds like a lot of people are reviewing the other Starbucks in Kaneohe, the one with the drive-thru and that's across the street from Windward Mall (more or less). Yeah, that one is pretty junk, and I may review that one another time. This Starbucks at 45-480 Kaneohe Bay Dr is in the Windward City Shopping Center, does not have a drive-thru, has a smaller interior than the other one, and is oh-so-much better. Why? It comes down to service. The crew is always smiling, always friendly. No matter how long the line is (and this line does get long), and no matter how stressed you know they must be, they never come across as distressed, and as the customer I never feel like I'm being pushed along so they can help the next number in line. They do take great care in making people feel like people, with many regular customers known by name, face, or at least by their beverage of choice. And for those that aren't regulars, they'll cheerfully take a moment to explain their menu and the ins and outs of the different brews and add-ons, like shots, syrups, etc. As far as the size of this place, yeah, it's definitely one of the cozier Starbuck's that I've been to on this island, but I wouldn't say that it's too small. There's still an adequate amount of space to sit, enjoy your coffee and read or get some work done. May have to wait a few minutes to get your choice spot, though. But the overall feel here, despite the traffic, is pretty laid back and easy going. I think the pleasant staff helps promote that feeling. The parking lot at Windward City S.C. is usually a hot mess, but fortunately the side where Starbucks resides isn't as bad. Parking on this side of the center is usually easier to find, as it's far from the anchor tenants and major driveways. Sadly, no drive-thru (again, that's the other Starbucks, up the road by the mall). A drive-thru here would make this shop a 5 star experience for sure, but the service alone carries this place pretty far. -r-

    (4)
  • Edward Tj G.

If you have read my other reviews, you would have noticed that customer service is important to me. I don't mind waiting for a good product if there is a reasonable reason. But I was the only one in the shop (12/18) and it still took 15 minutes to make a mocha and they got it wrong. There is no reason to go here when Hawai'i has so many coffee options. This is a coffee shop fail.

I've been coming here to study and I have my selected favorite baristas. Ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte no whip.. Came with whip. I didn't say anything though I try not to be a pest. I sat down to study for a few hours (I really enjoy studying here.) after I ordered a sweetened green tea to bring home to my husband & it was unsweetened. That was disappointing. Other than that one rare occasion I would recommend this Starbucks. Everyone has a bad day. BTW: Bathroom code is the area code.

Here's the deal. If you want your business to be successful, it starts with Customer Service. You may have a cool logo and the prettiest display, but it doesn't automatically put you at the top. Walked in on a Friday night around 8:15pm. Pretty massive display of Starbucks mugs in the center of the store and on the tall shelf. Even at the counter. Okay, sold. You got me again, Starbucks. I decided to get the Waikiki city mug. There were no other customers in line, so I was the only one standing there with my husband. Before I proceeded to ask her how much the mug was, it would've been nice if the blonde girl asked the typical questions: "Hi, how can I help you?" "What can I get you this evening?" "Let me know if I could be of assistance." Nada. Nothing. McDonald's does a better job at that! She scanned the mug and told me the price. "Do you want it?" I replied, "Yes." I handed my payment to her. She gave me a receipt and pushed the city mug closer to me. Now the next question you would typically hear is, "Would you like a bag for that?" Nope. Nothing. Actually, wouldn't a bag for this mug in a box be automatic? I thought to myself, maybe it's because Hawaii decided to do away with plastic bags (even though Starbucks uses recycled brown bags) and instead of asking, maybe she thought I'd pull out a reusable bag. "Thank you," she said. I continued to stay at the counter so I could transfer the brown cover on the box from the bottom, to the top, to prevent the mug from falling out of its place, since I had to carry it out like that. Shouldn't the hired staff be doing his? It was a bit challenging. It wouldn't budge for a good minute. But, she continued to stare instead of offering if she could help. I finally got the cover to move and slipped it over the top. She then asked, "Would you like a bag?" Really?!? Sure. Thanks for asking. Thanks for helping out. No, I don't want a drink with that. No, your pastry display no longer looks like its appetizing. I'll take my future business somewhere else. 1-star because the app won't allow me to Post/Continue without one.

starbucks kaneohe across from windward mall.....what a disappointment. i ordered a hot chocolate that took over 15 minutes to make and everyone who ordered after me was getting their drinks. when i asked them if they were working on my drink they said "oh shit what was it again?" after i told them that i ordered a caramel hot chocolate they told me that they have to grab caramel from the back and that they have plenty of people in the drive thru right now. so after an additional ten minutes i finally get my drink. no apologies for the wait. nothing. zip. oh and there was this other guy that was waiting for 20 minutes and pointed out to them that they had forgotten his order. at least they made his drink immediately and gave him a free drink for the next visit. pretty sure i'm not coming back here. thats how irritated i am at this very moment. which sucks cause they're usually pretty on it when they have a decent crew. todays crew is what was wrong. they had only a handful of white as white can be white boys. the one at the register was extremely slow and originally rang me up for the wrong drink and had a difficult time finding the button for the correct drink. the second one had to continuously ask the third how to make each and every drink. last but not least the third guy who finally made my drink with no apologies after the ridiculously long wait. and to add to my final irritated mood as i'm sitting here writing this, some random guy asks to sit by me on this little two topper. yeah, nope. that is not okay and way in my personal space dude. creeper. okay enough venting. i'm out of here pretty sure never to return, at least not when these guys are working.

I visit both Starbucks in Kaneohe very often since they're both close to my house. I like the setup of this one though, parking is sometimes terrible, the stalls are kinda small and it's a pretty busy lot. Staff is really friendly, and quick, although sometimes the line is crazy.

The service is great, and there's that small-town feel at this Starbucks where everyone knows everyone. The only problem was seating. Unfortunately my classmates and I came in and another group had already taken over the large booth. Thats OK. I still got my strawberry and creme and it was delicious!

This is one of the better Starbucks I've experienced on the island. The baristas are friendly, the overall vibe is pretty laid back. A lot of folks come here to read, study, hang with friends, or kill time. Unless you arrive during a rush, it's not too noisy. Unlike some of the downtown locations, they offer a bathroom for their customers! Kinda makes you want to order a bigger drink if you're going to stay awhile.

  • Sara T.

This is hands down the best Starbucks I've been to on Oahu. I came here almost every other day for 2 weeks with my study group during finals, and it was a great place to study. Not only does it have a convenient drive-thru, the inside has a lot of tables, including a large one for bigger groups, and the staff is great. And of course, the free Wi-Fi is one of the main reasons we chose to study at Starbucks. We were offered free samples of pastries and new drinks about 2 or 3 times, and when I ordered drinks or food, they came out quickly and accurately. It's clean and the bathroom is very decent. If I'm ever in Kaneohe again, I'd definitely return!

The staff here are really very friendly, unlike 98% of the "baristas" I've seen. It's nice to go somewhere and get real customer service instead of annoying ironic hipster type attitude. They also always have the damnable oatcakes from Honolulu Baking Co. that I always crave when I'm back at home.

Love this location! They are so, so nice and very efficient. I study, work, and read there and always feel welcome and appreciated. I don't like the drugged out, scary guy who yells obscenities in there sometimes but the staff has asked him to behave or leave when they notice he is bothering the other customers.

Not often do I rate something less than a 3 star. But that isn't to say this Starbucks was terrible, but the "Meh, I've experienced better" is quite fitting. I thought the interior had a bad smell, which is really hard to say/do when you're in Starbucks. Other than the menu, this location left much to be desired. It was quite loud. The service was 'a-ok' they can have 3 stars, so maybe this location should have a 2.5 rating from me.

I love the fact that they open at 4:30 in the morning! On days that I actually make it to work early, I usually make a quick stop to order my venti caramel macchiato, non-fat, no foam, stirred, a fruit cup and NO line at 5am!

this Starbucks was AWESOME!!! PLENTY of seating, the music wasn't blaring, and the temperature was just right. perfect combination to be able to get some work accomplished. they made my drink to standards, service was quick and friendly, bathroom was clean, basically an awesome experience. AND....drum roll....DRIVE THROUGH! technically i didn't experience the drive through myself but the fact that it has one is pretty darn cool. great spot to get some work done when i'm on the windward side.

Starbucks across the street from windward mall~! I usually get my coffee after work (I know kinda weird) My sweet tooth kinda pops up at night.. Anyway I decided to get my coffee before work for a change, I go through the drive through because well.. I'm lazy haha anyway I ordered a venti iced caramel macchiato layered with soy milk.. I go to the drive through and she handed me a mixed venti iced caramel macchiato.. She stopped for a second and realized I ordered a layered one. No big deal, I'm not the one to grumble or complain about anything :) I was just gonna take my delicious drink and head to work but she insisted I waited~! She apologized about my drink again .. calls her manager?! He comes to the window and apologizes also :) and hands me a "on the house card" for the next time I go there, I thought that was pretty damn awesome! They really do take care of their customers! Their nice attitudes and awesome service really made my day!

I got this crazy idea to detox from coffee as it got to the point where I could drink a venti americano and fall asleep with the almost empty cup still in my hand. I would have 3 large cups (I don't know what a single serving size is even when it comes to drinks) before some people even made it to the office. I LOVE coffee. So when I eradicated it from my system for over a week, I made a deal with myself that I'd allow one cup on the weekend...Needless to say, I was super excited for my treat this morning as I arrived in a sleepy haze at Starbucks. I ordered my standard Americano, NO ROOM for cream and when I got my order, my drink was, at best, 3/4 full and lukewarm. Then the barista was trying to use me as a messenger to a random customer that ordered before me to tell her that her cappuccino was "dry". WTF. Do I look like a secretary? (Technically, I am but it's Saturday!) Luckily for Starbucks though, they're the only game in town. If you want a cuppa joe anywhere else in the vicinity of Windward City, your choices are 7-11, Chevron or Mickey D's. Starbucks, you win. See you next week.

This Starbucks is one of the best on the island. Plenty of seating, terrific staff and tasty drinks.

I must have gone on a day when the stars weren't aligned because my service was sub-bar. Usually the staff is very friendly and courteous. This time was the exception. The gal taking my order looked at me and said: "What would you like?" Very un-Starbucks. Not even a smile or a twinkle in her eye. My Grande Americanco was good but would have been great with a friendlier cashier.
