SOOOO YUM! I had the Traditional Acai Smoothie, and the chicken salad wrap. Yum I don't know why I never tried this place before. I can't say about all the other things, but this place seems quite popular so I'll most likely be back, they have so many choices for such a small location.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally decided to today. They're supposed to open at 10am but at 10:15am they still were not opened. Shopped at Longs to kill time and came back at 10:45 and finally saw a worker open up the doors. If you've eaten acai bowls from Blue Hawaii or Diamond Head Cove or Jewel or Juice you won't like the acai bowls from here. Their berries are frozen!!! Come on, you can't serve thawed out frozen fruit on acai bowls. The other places have healthy add-ons like bee pollen and this place does not. Also, just to warn others who might want to use their Entertainment Book coupon for a free menu item when another menu item is purchased their acai bowls aren't considered a menu item for some reason? even though it is on their menu! They should really clarify it on the coupon and I thought it was very misleading and shame on them for that. Plus the worker even admitted that the words on the coupon are misleading but did not seem apologetic. All in all I left not wanting to come back. Misleading coupon, lackluster acai bowls, rude worker, and they opened 45 minutes late.

4 stars for the EXCELLENT MENU. I was surprised the first time I came at how many healthy choices there were and how I could eat everything because Im a smoothie fan and dont eat beef or pork which they dont even serve. The food and drinks are decents and nicely sized! The only downer is Its hot because of all the freezers, Its small, Hard to sit down coftorably and there short staffed so the wait at times can be rediculous. But the menu itself is worth the wait! Oh and a plus that they take cards with out a minimum purchase!

Walked in and ordered the black milk tea and suddenly I've found my new favorite bubble drink place. The bubble texture is perfect with soft chewyness and adds sweetness to the drink. They have a dairy free option which helps a lot for the lactose intolerant like me. The owner was very friendly but most of all the price is 10-20% cheaper than the other places in the area which makes it a bargain. Finally I can afford my daily bubble drink!

The best turkey chili I have ever tried! I get it almost every time I come here. Also try their snow ice, it's delicious.

The are too slow. Waited for 10 or more minutes for a chicken curry and parfait. People who came in after us were served before us. Wtf?

Bubble Berry is located in the Windward City Shopping Center (the old Zeus Juice). The selection is awesome and service is outstanding. Frozen yogurts are always great and flavors change. My personal favorite is the acai "Berry Bowl" I get it with soy milk, nutty granola and honey all over. When I'm ordering the bowls for my family I'll call in ahead of time (b/c it takes some time to make) and they will have them ready for me when I arrive. In this economy, it's great to know there are business who actually appreciate your patronage and know how to show it.

Good stuff! Been here a few times in the past couple of months. The Acai bowl is so ridiculously huge that I almost didn't finish. I highly recommend the Super Bowl. The parfaits are great too, with a wide variety of toppings to choose from. Haven't tried the wraps, but I heard some lady saying nice things about them while I was there. Overall, great experience and will definitely come back.

Several people had raved to me about this place when it used to be called Bubble Berry, so I wanted to check it out for myself. It was OK, but didn't live up to my expectations. First, don't even bother with their regular food. It was promisingly healthy and fresh, but each thing I tried fell flat on flavor. I tried to order a bubble tea, but they were out, so I got an acai smoothie bowl instead. It was really watery, and a lot smaller than I expected for the price. I was the only customer, yet I waited forever for the lone employee to come take my order, and it took much longer than it should have to fill it. All in all a disappointment. Maybe they changed owners when they changed names? If you're in Kaneohe and looking for this sort of thing, MJ Cafe in Windward Mall is a much better bet.

Name change. Now called berry fresh cafe instead of bubble berry. Credit card transactions for purchases of $5 and above. Now serving pitaya smoothies. Great acai bowls, better than lanikai juice in my opinion. Also yummy smoothies like strawberry wow!

Best acai bowls on the east side for sure! Service is a little slow but all of the food items are worth the wait!

For nearly two years (or more), my husband and I were loyal customers. Some months, my cravings were so bad, we'd visit two or three times a week for a strawberry bubble drink or an acai berry bowl. The owner was occasionally terse, but nice enough to welcome us back. She remembered our orders, and of all the acai bowls I tried in Kaneohe, theirs was the best by far. Somewhat recently, the prices increased. I was okay with that. I could understand. Occasionally, I'd feel gypped when the owner would put just one hole in my punch card when I should've gotten two, but I chalked it up to several unfortunate but honest mistakes. But the last time my husband and I ordered the acai bowls, we were given smalls and charged for regulars, and the acai was watered down and unenjoyable. She saved a few bucks by taking our patronage for granted and ripping us off. (Also, it did not help that Berry Fresh Cafe was so frequently boba-less!) We were so disappointed, and we decided not to return again. My husband and I discovered that at the same price, we could get a consistently tasty and even more satisfying acai bowl at MJ Cafe in Windward Mall. Try the Rio Bowl! Staff there is welcoming and generous. Sorry, Berry Fresh. We had a time.

This place is awesome. Because the deserts are good and the workers are super nice!!! We came in at closing and the workers were still nice. Very unusual in the smoothie business. We will definitely be coming back for more taro boba and shave ice!!!!!!!! And one boba can feed 2 people! 24oz.

This place was formally named Bubble berry but now changed to Berry Fresh Cafe to advertise they have food as well. They have a lot of food choices, acai bowls, gelato, wraps, hummus plates, and salads. Great variety and healthy choices. Threy support local gelato makers and support local farms with some of their products they use. Really good people too, very welcoming with a big smile and great service!

I am absolutely smitten with their halo shave ice. It's made of shaved soy milk, filipino halo, beans, and topped with coconut ice cream. OOOOH MYYYYY!!!! I get this every time I go. Very ono, and the only of it's kind on the island.

The size of the acai bowl has changed dramatically since first opening. The flavor is good but they compensate for a lack of acai with an exorbitant amount of granola so the bowl will still have the appearance of fullness. I'm sitting here right now and have been waiting for my smoothie for over 10 minutes. I also waited for my order to be taken 5 minutes prior to that. Spending over 15 minutes in this hotbox (with no AC) is not worth the product although it is adequate in both value and quality. I'd rather go to Jewel or Juice on Wailae, worth the extra distance for their speed and friendliness. The girl behind the counter doesn't seem to know what she's doing although I've seen her here since several months ago. Well I just got my smoothie, 25 minutes later... the taste is ok, it's a little watery for my liking. I like thicker smoothies. Maybe too much apple juice or something. I went ahead and paid the extra dollar-something to add mango, and I can't even taste it. If you're going to charge someone extra for something, make sure you put it in maybe??? All things aside, I continue to come here because it's conveniently located for windward residents and the prices are much more reasonable than jamba juice. The owner is also usually very nice, she just seems stressed today in particular.

This time, went there at 7PM and the doors were locked. The sign says they close at 9 and there was a lady inside who saw us looking in and trying to open the door at 7PM. 2 Hours before they are supposed to close. She ignored us. This is the third time in a month that I've visited this place and they have not been open during their stated business hours. Not a smart way to do business. What a shame.

I wanted a small snack because I had to go to a big dinner in two hours, but needed something light to hold me over until then. I got the cheese melt and an iced lemon tea. I paid about $4.50. The cheese melt was basically American cheese melted inside a whole wheat bun. Nothing special and definitely nothing to rave about, but I was content because it was just enough to hold me over until dinner. The iced lemon tea was not good, but I was very thirsty. It tasted like some kind of medicine. The service was good though and the workers were nice, so I would consider coming back here to try their desserts, like the acai or parfaits.

Absolutely incredible! Love their food, love the service. It may take a little while and sometimes they're out of chicken salad or other food, but it's worth the wait and picking something else off the menu turns out to be just as good! I moved off island but whenever I come back to visit, this place is on the list of must-go-to.

Located In Windward City Shopping Center, just behind 24 Hour FItness. They make THE BEST acai bowls on the island. You have a choice of having your Acai blended with apple juice or soymilk (for creamier taste), then Nutty, Crunchy (the most popular), or Regular granola, with Honey, & Bananas to top it off. There are also options to have berries and yogurt added. The acai is thick (not watery like most other places) and yummilicious. It comes in one size (relatively large ..it can serve 2)...my sister and I always share it. There are also lots of other goodness served there: vegetarian chili, wraps, smoothies, yogurt, cakes. They just extended their hours: 10am to 9pm. Service is always great. If they are busy and you have to wait a bit, sometimes they'll be extra nice and give you extra bananas :).

  • Nicole U.

I had an acai super bowl and it flat out sucked. The only tasty thing about it was the ice cream, but if I wanted ice cream, I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN ICE CREAM INSTEAD. The coconut got stuck in my throat and did not taste good at all. The acai was ok, but they even said it's frozen and not fresh. The place is poorly maintained and the two ladies working there at the time were very unfriendly and seemed to want us out of there as quickly as possible. Overall, bad food and poor customer service, DO NOT BURDEN YOURSELVES AND COME HERE.

There is so much to chose from! I haven't tried everything, but so far I had the vanilla frozen yogurt, strawberry cheesecake parfait, turkey chili, hummus, protein shake, and they are all yummy!

This place is AWESOME. I'm here at least twice a week. They just relocated from Kailua and have the very best of everything. From healthy frozen yogurt to Bubbies Ice Cream, you name it they have it. They even have frozen yogurt pies and cakes. A perfect alternative to regular ice cream cakes. They always have at least six different flavors of frozen yogurt and the flavors always vary. Then you have a million and one different toppings to choose from. The best part about the frozen yogurt is how healthy it actually is. It's made with fructose and is all natural. My personal favorite is the Snow ice, either the Cheely Mango or the Green Tea Mochi is awesome. Then you have amazing Acai bowls and smoothies. They are so good and the portion is just right. You can even choose your choice of granola too. As if this weren't enough, they have the best smoothies that are out of this world. I recommend the K-bay. I think everyone on the windward side should try this place out. The best part about it is that you can sample just about everything in the store! :) Did I mention that the service is awesome too?! It just doesn't get a lot better than this place.

Awesome little place! Great variety of treats to choose from and they even have vegetarian and soy alternatives. The place is clean and the menu board is easy to navigate. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I ALWAYS stop by this place when I go to the windward side.

Off the side of American Savings Bank and Foodland, Bubble berry is literally dead center of Windward City Shopping Center. You're going to have to be blind to miss this place, although I must admit, I've seen this place almost everyday driving back home from starbucks, and only yesterday did I stop by and give it a shot. A friend of mines from the mainland was utterly shocked when I said I couldn't remember the last time I had a bubble drink, and therefore started my quest to find some. So before heading back home, I decided to stop off at bubble berry. I must mention, the parking SUCKS. One lady decided she was not only going to take my parking stall, but to park like an idiot, only to eat her McDonalds, really now? Thankfully my bubble tea made it much better. The staff are very friendly, especially the lady that helped me. She let me take my time, and didn't get annoyed when I didn't know what I wanted. Eventually, I ended up getting the black milk tea, with tapioca balls. Thankfully I was the only one in there, so my drink was prepared in a jiffy, but when she gave me my drink, it was in an oversized cup, definitely not made for the drink. And it didn't fit in the cup-holder, and quite frankly, I looked like an idiot drinking out of it. But whatever. The flavor was strong but yet very good. Every drink you took the taste of the black tea would instantly hit you, but fortunately you were left with a very subtle taste. Anyways, bubble berry round 2? I think so!

This is a small healthy cafe, formerly known as Bubbleberry. Okay, so I do have very mixed feelings about this place, but I probably won't stop coming here. The owner is sweet but extremely blunt, and i'm okay with that. If you're easily offended, you may have a problem. Pros: The food is good. Simple, light, refreshing. And the price is pretty average if you ask me. They do seem to have healthy options, which is a nice break since you don't find too many of those in Hawaii. I personally love their feta veggie wrap and turkey meatloaf. The acai bowls are actually pretty good considering that's not their speciality, and i'm a tough cookie when it comes to acai bowls. Right now i'm hooked on the pitaya moothie, I seriously get one EVERY TIME i'm there. Cons: The wait can be a problem, and it's always hit or miss. Sometimes there's a line, sometimes there isn't. They do seem a bit under staffed, but they hustle and I appreciate that. I don't really have any other complaints, except this one incident with the stamp cards. I only needed one stamp to get a free item, and I ordered 4 items. So one item should have filled my card, and the card should have covered a second item (which was the cheapest, and qualified.) Doesn't that leave me with 2 more stamps? So I asked the woman ringing me up, and she was insistent that I wouldn't be able to get 2 more stamps. What frustrated me was that I didn't understand the reasoning, especially since they were full priced hot plate items. But I wasn't about to get into it with someone over something so silly, it was just unfortunate that the owner wasn't in that day. If you want something good and good for you to eat or drink, definitely give this place a go. Just make sure you're not pressed for time. I bring my friends here all the time, especially after hiking/beach days, and they've all loved it!

Absolutely delicious! This place is a hidden gem. Fresh ingredients, fast service and tasty food. The chicken salad sandwich and wrap are fantastic! They add diced apples to their recipe and it's a nice twist. I also recommend the Thai Chicken Salad and the Thai Peanut Chicken Wrap. They are filling and satisfying. Ask for a punch card. Buy 10 menu items $4.95 and up, and 10th is free. The food is good, and that card comes in handy.

Each time I come here, they are always training a new person, usually a girl, and they always look very flustered. It also takes a while to get your order. I am visiting home and decided to drop by just for old times sake yesterday. I ordered a banana smoothie with lychee jelly, and got it after waiting a while, which I didn't mind, since I knew the worker was still new. But then there was no jelly in it. I didn't complain, because I didn't want the girl to get in trouble and it was only 50 cents for the jelly. They have a really delicious looking menu but I'm always put off by the atmosphere of the place and never stay too long.

The bubble drinks are really good. I like the milk tea and Thai tea. :) We came here twice though. Once they ran out of the boba, and both times they took a long time to make the drinks that we ordered. The women who work there are not the most smiley and friendly people. When we asked the woman to order the bubble tea, the woman told us a little abruptly that they just sold out of the boba. No "sorry" or other options...just a "we just sold our last boba" with a not so happy look on her face. At least they have good drinks. :P The windward city parking lot is a difficult parking lot.

The lady told me before I ordered that this was a "real fruit" smoothie blended with ice and that it would be slushie-like. When I got it I asked her if this was the passion orange bubble drink I ordered and she said "yes, it's like creamy slushy." Smh! First, this is nothing like a slushie. It looks and tastes like a powder smoothie. Second, idk what the round cover is for cause she didn't even fill it up to the rim of the cup. Lastly, she mixes the smoothies with ladles she keeps uncovered on her counter. And let me add that she was so rude to her elderly employee. Scolding her in front of customers. Never going back here.

Very delicious and healthy foods and drinks here at berry fresh cafe. I especially like there salads and wraps. The best ones that i have tried here are tbe mandarin orange salad and the chinese chicken salad both of which are very delicious. I also had the hummus wrap which was very filling, delicious and tasted very refreshing. My very favorite thing to get whenever i go is the lychee bubble drink which they make out of a real fruit blend. I absolutely love it

I got a honeydew bubble drink with no bubbles. The lady who rang me up was super nice and friendly. The bubble drink was alllright, towards the end you can feel the powder they use to make the drink. I couldn't finish it all cause the powdery texture was overpowering. I think next time i'll try something else like a real fruit smoothie.

This place keeps changing names every time I go here. This is like the third time its a different name. But it's the same owner. Anyways, looked at the menu and pretty much the same, but i saw Pitaya. Decided to try it out. Got a regular size around $6. It was pretty good. So this is how pitaya smoothie taste like. It wasn't too sweet I think. But blended just right. My first pitaya was a good experience, so nothing to complain about for now.

Pretty good bubble tea place. I got a 24oz taro lychee bubble drink which I really liked - the combo was very tasty and refreshing. And they blend it like a smoothie which is a plus. The bubbles were soft and sweet. The regular milk tea flavors (powdered) are $4 and anything with fresh fruit is $5. I didn't have a problem with service.

I do have to say, I expected a little more from Berry Fresh Cafe. Interior is nice, their menu display is great, with pictures for every item on their menu, which was appealing to the eye, including the bright and cheerful atmosphere inside. However, the workers seemed the opposite. Upon entrance, the cashier just stared at us googly-eyed and without a word, left us to go to the back while we were looking behind her at the menu. Finally, an asian worker came out, and I ordered the berry fresh acai, small. It came out to over $7. Portion was small, strawberries were mushy,& whatever little acai portion there was, was very watery. I could've gotten better acai and a bigger portion with better freshness at Blue Hawaii or even Jamba Juice. Their pictures were certainly nice, but the reality just didn't live up to what they make it seem. In my opinion, it was certainly overpriced for its quality.. Only difference is that they offer kiwi, compared to the usual I go to, which does not, but I would rather save a bit than to have less-than-fresh fruit. Upon leaving, we thanked the cashier and the asian girl who took my order, and we were given the same silent blank stare. I felt like such a bright looking place was taken over by zombies! However, if I ever do make the trip down to Windward Centre again, I would like to give them another chance and try their sundaes or snow ice. Better luck next time? :)

Took my daughter here for the first time. She wanted bubble tea an we couldn't find a place in kailua so we went kaneohe an found one!!!! They are super nice here an are pretty quick with making ur drink. They do get busy. We got a punch card an for every 10 punches u get a free menu item. I like that idea ;)

All their bubble drinks and smoothies are awesome! They use fresh fruit and the price is right for the size. They have tons of options. Big bright menu with pictures for everything. I've yet to try any food items but they've got salads and wraps and sandwiches. When I went in today there were five or six other people in there, only two ladies working. It seemed to be that one was the owner or manager and the other woman was being trained. I had to wait a while just to order. I got a pitaya smoothie which I was very pleased with! (: Don't get acai bowls here. The woman before me ordered one and it's so small for the price! Everything else looked good though. You can even get gelato with toppings too, sundaes, snow ice, coffee drinks. The atmosphere in there unfortunately is kind of lame. It's very small and they have boxes and rubbish inside in plain sight. And it feels awkward since it's so small. You just sit there and watch the workers hustle around making orders... They don't even have any music or anything. Id suggest they turn up the tunes or get a television. Despite that, I do really like this place and will be back.

  • Nicole R.

Every time I go here they NEVER have what I ask for. Half of their menu is always sold out or they didn't make it. Why would you have a menu that has items you can't order? It doesn't make sense. Then when you finally find something available to order they take forever. They really need to fix the menu and customer service.

    (1)
  • Lisa G.

Service was a bit slow because high volume of people came in around the same time. Also think a new person in training. Other than that customer service was great and my bubble drink hit the spot!

Ive read such varying reviews on this place.. being my 3rd time here and now with a new bame i figured i better chime in.. firstly.. the place is clean and bright! The girl behind the counter was super nice and friendly even helping me pick something new.. tried the lychee bubble drink.. AWESOME! Great flavor.. real lychee blended nicely.. ive had the pitaya drink.. really ono!and a salad before. It was decent! (Lol.. i rarely eat salad so decent for me is really good!) Needless to say.. i will be back! Mahalo for having great service and an awesome attitude!

The outside, not that appealing. The inside, pretty much the same, but don't let that stop you from enjoying this place. I had my doubts, I did. I was ready to be disappointed with my Thai Tea bubble tea and smoothie, but I was proven wrong. I was in the mood for a bubble tea, and the $3.95 price for one was pretty darn good. I had NO idea how LARGE that was going to be, 32 oz, y'all. THIRTY TWO OUNCES of delicious bubble tea. It was made into a frappachino/smoothie texture, which was weird, but I sure enjoyed the heck out of it. My son wanted a smoothie, and he requested that it be peach and banana. That wasn't on the board...well, the lady making the smoothies said "No problem. He wants just peach and banana, we'll do that for him." Uh, kickass! There are lots of other items here besides teas and smoothies. They had ice cream, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, salads and I saw a menu for party trays at a very reasonable price. I'll totally come back here the next time I'm in the mood for something cold and sweet!!

This place literally kills me... So much potential but it just falls flat. The menu is way too vast for such a location. Salads, hot dogs, bagels, sandwiches, smoothies, boba drinks, acai bowls, wraps, yogurt, etc. Usually this wouldn't be a problem, but with being understaff and having such a small location... they really should pick just a few items and focus on that, Acai bowls, smoothies, gelato, boba would be perfect. Potential, yes so much! If they focused their energy onto just a few items instead of the crazy menu this place could be amazing!! The place is also in need of a remodel, it can be a cool hip hang out place for all the high school kids if it just had a bit more pizazz!! OKOK..on to the goods... I ordered a regular super acai bowl on a Sunday morning (they only had one person working) and I was appalled when I was given a tiny little bowl.. Did I really just pay 9 dollars for this teeny tiny little thing? Now it was pretty good, but come on!! For a few cents more I could've gotten an acai bowl twice the size at jamba. I'm all for supporting local businesses but don't be so stingy!

I don't post bad reviews unless it was really bad. Sadly, this place was a big disappointment for us. We decided to go check it out today after our hike. Upon walking in the girl asks us what do we want. We looked over the menu and finally decided we wanted some food first and then maybe a acai bowl or smoothie. The girl then replies by telling us she can't make anything on the menu except smoothies. She can make a salad, wrap, or even turkey chili because her manager is not in. We also overheard her saying that to a person on the phone. I'm of sure how you can run a business and have a menu with a lot of delicious looking food. While having the only person working there not be able to make any of it. We were very disappointed...they could've made more money today. But instead they just wanted to make smoothies...very sad

My husband and I stopped by after dinner one night for their acai bowls. They're really good. However next time I'll skip out on the vanilla yogurt, only because I'm not a fan of vanilla. -1/2 start for the price of the bowl -1/2 for the strong smell of bleach when we walked in. I think more ventilation should do the trick.

Best bubble tea around! They get the bubbles right every time, not too soft, not too hard, perfectly chewy. I tried their Pitaya smoothies, which was a little on the sweet side. Lots of parking. I camped out with my computer and did some work for about an hour and everyone that worked there was super nice! Looks like it's a family owned business, which is so sweet! Their menu of drinks, food, and dessert look pretty healthy so I'm planning on taking the kids to try out their food next! They also have a call ahead curbside pickup service which I'm going to take advantage of sometime! Really cute place! No wifi, so bring your own.

I came here with my friend and ordered the 24oz Pitaya smoothie. The drink was blended to perfection, very smooth. It wasn't too sweet either. This was my first time trying a pitaya smoothie, I hear that it's a tending item now. The price is very reasonable for the size of the drink. It was pretty big. The shop was clean. The menu was big and the options were listed clearly. The staff was pleasant and courteous. If I'm ever in the neighborhood, I'm probably gonna get one of these again! :)

"Welcome to Bubble Berry!" That's what the owner says to each person that walks through her doors. She may not say it with a smile or a lot of enthusiasm, but I give her props going through the motion each and every time someone walks in. It's not the best on the island but it's a great place to go for yogurt, a smoothie or bubble drink if you're in the area.

I have seen this place for years but never stopped in until I noticed the sign that said "Bubble" outside. Craving a bubble drink I went in for the first time about three weeks ago. Hands down I had to say they were the best on the windward side. But unfortunately I have to give this place only two stars because on each of my three attempts to get a bubble drink after my first visit they never had bubbles!!!! WHAT, NO BUBBLES????? Come on folks.....I've cooked tapioca for bubble drinks and it keeps for a long time. Make a huge batch. The first time I was told that she was short staffed and it would take her a few hours to cook, the second time I went when they opened and was told that they don't have bubbles when they open....usually around 11:30 they have bubbles, then the third time (today around 12:30) I was told that they were waiting for it to come. My suggestion if you want to try here....call first.

I'm not even sure I'm reviewing the right place... Okay so I've been to this shopping center quite a bit and have not been in this place... until Thursday (3/28)! Before going in, the first thing I saw was a poster advertising the iDcard! So I thought I could use it for our bubble drinks... Sadly, no can! I looked at the paper-size menu that was at my eye level and didn't see honeydew as an option so I tried "Mocha Chiller." It's alright. I don't know after a while it started to take on the characteristics of ice cream. They also have a crate of apple bananas on one of the tables. Are they for sale? I didn't ask. At first my friend and I were going to sit at the tables with stools but I saw a picnic looking table with fold up chairs and migrated there after we had ordered. It took a while for our drinks to come by though only one another was there before us. Our drinks came in one size and the cups... they were BIG. ( yelp.com/user_local_phot… ) For $3 - 4 that's a good deal. We stayed there for an hour or two because we were studying. No one rushed us to leave.

Not very good. I noticed that the inside was not clean. Fingerprints on the coolers. Floors grimy. The taro chips I bought were very stale. The peanut butter shake was OK, the chai was bad but the worse was the kale cooler. After 5 mins it just wasn't right. Threw out the whole thing. Anyway I won't be patronizing your store again. Not to mention that they NEVER have halo halo topping! Lol ack!

My friend, Debbie, introduced me to this place. I always drove by but never went in. Am glad she suggested going here because I discovered a new world of yummy healthy food! I feel less guilty about eating acai bowls, kale coolers, salmon patty, and cranberry apple salads...not to mention snow ice and turkey chili! Next will try pitaya smoothie! The owner was very nice to me and my friend, Lisa. ..gave us samples!

Not normally in Kaneohe, but we came out to mini putt at Bayview, and it was a HOT HOT day so we searched for smoothies on yelp and decided on Bubble Berry. Unfamiliar with the windward city shopping center, it took us a while to find out that they changed their name to Berry Fresh Cafe. The menu looked great with many options for drinks and food! We all ordered smoothies. The smoothies were okay nothing too special. But very long wait. There were only two workers and the lady taking orders was very blunt and not very friendly, but did try to work fast. The girl making the orders also tried to work quickly but had too many orders. I think they need more staff, especially on the weekends. Overall, we satisfied our smoothie crave, but will probably find another place next time were in Kaneohe

All I can say is that the service is terrible and slow.. and the people working there seem so grouchy and one of them was talking to someone instead of serving us and FYI I wanted the haupia mocha but they said they had no haupia then next day tried again and no haupia so my opinion take it off the menu..

One of the few places on Oahu that gives you the option to get your bubble tea over ice rather than blended together like a slushee! I hate the "slushee bubble tea." The bubble tea itself was very sweet, but the tapioca pearls were amazingly soft and chewy. Perfectly cooked bubbles, so i'm a fan! I will probably request for less sugar next time. This will be my go to place whenever I want a bubble-tea fix.

Always fresh and tasty! Also the friendly service sets them apart---esp when the owner takes the time to befriend customers

I love there Acai bowls, but the last time I went I got a small berry bowl & the size had decreased a lot! The price is also pretty high. Their service is VERY slow, I usually call ahead but that is inconvenient if I just wanted to stop by quickly & grab something I recommend MJ Cafe in Windward Mall if you are looking for a good Acai bowl

  • Philip C.

The wait was long. Staff not the friendliest but my smoothie was okay. Got the mango one. Do recommend. Nevermind. It's too thick. Don't go unless you're desperate!

The first time I went I got the snow ice bowl with bananas and strawberries and it was amazing. Every time after sucked. I went three times and each time they couldn't do the snow ice. One of those three there was one girl working and she said she wasn't trained on it and could only make a fruit smoothie or acai bowl out of their very large menu. The other two times it just "wasn't available". Then I go tonight and they were closed an hour before closing with no sign or note. I won't be going back.

I love this place! My fave spot in Windward City Shopping Center. Kaneohe really needs more health food options, like the ones the BF offers. Berry Fresh (formerly Very Berry Cafe) gives consistent service. Mostly friendly, sometimes rushed. I love the Pitaya smoothie. Super refreshing and not too sweet. I also love their Veggie Feta wrap. Its clean and simple and only $5. Although their items can be a little pricey, I think they are worth it!

They have unique snow flavors with fresh fruit. My family and I got their cheely mango and their berry banana . Both were excellent. Great for a hot summer day. Customer service was also top of the line. Not sure if the lady that helped us was the owner or manager but either way she was very attentive and was eager to know how our first experience was. No doubt about it, we will be back.

Wonderful fresh smoothies. I love the Kale Cooler. The owner and employees are so friendly and inviting. The super acai bowl was so delicious and unlike other ones I have had and they have a killer menu of other yummy treats.

I love how I can get boba without having any dairy, including non-dairy creamer! I have yet to try any of the food, but always come to get boba after my trip to Foodland. The prices are good and the boba itself is just the right texture and not a ball of rubber like other places.

Lots of options and a good location. The food is good and healthy and there is a frequent buyer card. Its not fast food so expect to wait for your food due to the fact that there is usually only one or two workers there. Good way around that is the curbside option they have. The staff is friendly but very assertive, you almost feel like you are being rushed. Good healthy food option.

I finally tried something other than their acai energy bowl... call it boring but I hate to be let down so once I find something I really love I have a hard time ordering something else because I really don't want to be disappointed! That being said, the only reason I ordered something in addition to my usual is because I brought a boy and for whatever reason if you suggest an acai bowl is a meal to a boy, you get one stupid look! One of my girlfriends has been raving about their salmon patty sandwich for months so we went with this. They are running a special now where the sandwich comes with a free pineapple ice tea. The sandwich arrived, thoughtfully cut in half for us as she noticed we were sharing. The patty was thick, juicy and came on a toasted whole wheat bun with lettuce and tomato and a secret sauce - we spent a good amount of time debating the concoction, it was creamy, a little salty and the perfect complement to the tender salmon. Unable to guess we finally gave in and asked - they make their own ceasar salad dressing. The owner was so nice and even offered samples of their turkey chili! I was so involved in enjoying that acai bowl to the last drop I didn't even notice it was already 20 minutes past their closing time. In fact, I didn't even notice until we walked out and I caught a glimpse of the closing time on the door and the moment we walked out she shut off the lights :-0! She was so nice to not kick us out! Now that's what I call the Kaneohe kindness!

A hidden gem. This place would match great in Kailua or Kakaako but it's placed in the middle of Kaneohe Shopping Center, behind Ross. Great place to find great drinks and healthy sandwiches. Staff is very pleasant. My friend and I ordered the Bubble tea, it's made with real fruit so it tastes great. My sister got the Fruit Slush, but is just as good as a pure smoothie. They also have acai bowls and snow ice. The owner of the company also gave us free pasta salad to try, great customer service.

One night while we were out with friends, I got a craving for bobba tea. Someone recommended Bubble Berry so I looked it up on google maps made my way to Windward City Shopping Center. While there, we got lost trying to find it and after asking a bunch of people walking around, find out its because they had changed their name to Berry Fresh. We finally get there and I order a milk tea with bobba only to find out that they ran out of bobba and all of their jellies except for lychee. The lady tells me that it tastes really good together and so I decide to try it...turns out it's not the best. Additionally, she gave me a blended drink when I had wanted just a regular one over ice but was not given the option. Additionally they advertise that they accept the iDcard but when I asked about it, they wouldn't accept it. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

They are now called Berry Fresh, not Bubble Berry, but I don't know if that change can be made to this Yelp page. I always come here with my bf to get their Super Bowls (acai, granola, kiwi, strawberries, banana, coconut shavings, honey, and vanilla frozen yogurt) ! Soooooo delicious!!! You can get a choice of the acai blended with apple juice or soy milk, crunchy or nutty granola, and with or without the honey. If their yogurt machine is broken, they give you vanilla ice cream, instead :DDD A lot of people are complaining about the service, but I think their service is waay friendlier than other family businesses in and around Windward City. The owner remembers our orders and she always welcomes us back and asks us if the food was okay. To people who are having trouble with deciding, she'll recommend various items. The service is a little slow since they often have only 2 workers to take orders and make the food, so be prepared to wait. They have cute tables with high stools, but a few are a bit rocky. One thing they could easily improve on is give dine-in customers the option to use real bowls and utensils and not styrofoam ones. Berry Fresh is a great place to stop in for a smoothie or acai bowl!

First of all, the cashier was staring at me and my friend when we were deciding what to get. It was our first time here and obviously, we would take a while to see what we wanted to order. But she just continued to stare at us, like wanting us to hurry up or something. Can't you mind your own business and do some other work instead of like, waiting and staring at us (seems to me you really want our money). Since I was kinda hungry, I didn't order any desserts but instead the chicken curry hot plate. I did not get what I paid for. It was basically 3 pieces of tiny chicken with 2 carrots mixed with some curry/celery and a very small scoop of rice FOR $6?! Wtf. I should have went to L&L or something, at least they gave me my money's worth. There was also a salad in some small container which tasted okay but there was some weird orange stuff in it that I didn't like. But since I was hungry, I ate everything but wasn't full AT ALL. Maybe I should have gotten some dessert here, which is what they are known for but my friend got bad service as well, plus they didn't use real cheesecake in her parfait. So we aren't coming back here again. Too bad, I wanted to try some of their other stuff but eh, guess not.

DO NOT GO HERE. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT IN THE SLIGHTEST. I WOULD GIVE IT 0 STARS BUT THAT'S CLEARLY NOT AN OPTION. I went to this cafe yesterday with my sister. I've only been here one other time and I remember what I got (some strawberry parfait thing) not being that good and way overpriced. The establishment was (and still is) very messy and cluttered with boxes and just a bunch of random crap. But, my sister wanted to check it out so I decided to come with and give it another go. We went in and she ordered an acai bowl while I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and a peanut butter shake. We waited for almost 20 minutes for our food which was kind of irritating since we thought it was unnecessary for a drink, bagel sandwich and a bowl of fruit to take that long. We then went back to our car and ate and both of us thought the food was pretty good. It was a lot better than what I got the previous time I came. While we were driving home and finishing our food, my sister mentioned that she felt like throwing up and she didn't know why. The whole day she felt great, but right as she was finishing her acai bowl she started to feel nauseous. When we got home, my sister got very sick and now has food poisoning because of the Berry Fresh Cafe. I'm guessing it's because whoever prepared my sister's food didn't clean the fruit or utensils correctly. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will make sure that anyone who wants to check this place out knows how I feel. I will definitely not be coming back.

I had the garlic cheese toast and it wasn't the best because it was just a piece of cheese on a bagel. However, the cheese quesadilla was very very good! :D We went here because there was no parking near where we wanted to go. [Subway] :( So... Overall this place is good: not the best.

Roaming around a shopping center on a boring day, especially when you don't know the area, can spot you a few gems for good food and snacks on a pretty ordinary day. One of them is Bubble Berry. They have a multitude of snacks and drinks to savior your fantasy, but the thing that caught my eye was the smoothies. They had a banner outside the property, which had advertised their neat smoothies. Good thing I was kind of full from having an XL Pho from Little Saigon earlier in the afternoon. Coming to Bubble Berry was like the dessert I needed, without having to go to Cold Stone Creamery - if I couldn't help it. Their smoothies are pretty good, compared to Jamba Juice. A bit better in taste, but I can't say that they're better than Lanikai Juice though. I noticed that they don't put ice in their smoothies, which was interesting, but the taste wasn't vastly different or diverted from the actual intention of the smoothie to have ice in it. They also have other stuff to sell, like sandwiches and salads, so you can have a complete meal at Bubble Berry - if you wanted. The service was great and I would totally recommend this place, if you are in the area. Sometimes, the order can take longer than it should, but it was worth the wait. They informed me about the frequent buyer card, but I declined since I don't come up here very often. Hell, I don't even live in Kaneohe to take the advantage. Maybe next time I should though. Every bit adds up to a reward or two. The parking situation is ample, since Bubble Berry sits inside the Windward City Shopping Center. Staff was friendly and I had a good time here. I will be back.

I love going to Bubble Berry. I always call ahead, otherwise it will take forever which is why I took off a star. I always get the acai bowl with apple juice, crunchy granola, and extra honey. The bananas are apple bananas, which is why I like the apple juice in the acai, they go together well. They also have a stamp card if you go there enough, which for 10 stamps, you get one free. I've also had the Turkey Meatloaf, which is obviously reheated in the microwave when you order it, but its pretty cheap and its supposed to be healthy. It comes with a side of rice and free pineapple ice tea, which is delicious. The menu is pretty large, but since I feel the need to call in everytime I order anything (I've waited too long too many times), I always get the acai bowl. It's too addictive and delicious!

My friend loves to stop by and get a smoothie from this spot. I love getting frozen yogurt. The staff is friendly and cold foods always taste good on a hot day. I want to try their healthy plate lunches but I'm always torn when I see their neighbors. One day I will.

I love their hummus wrap w/feta. They also offer a Portobello mushroom burger w/feta that I want to try next time. The smoothies are delish, and they have all kinds of desserts to quell the calls of the damn sweet tooth that just won't shut up. Chocolate dipped banana w/sprinkles....yuuuum!!! ***Suggestion: Call in your order if you know what you're craving. This place gets quite busy, and the wait can be long depending on how many staff are on-hand. (808) 235-3292.

Like other people said, this place takes a long time to make your order. We had to wait 15 minutes for our smoothie. It was hot in there, either the AC was broken or they just don't have any. However, with that said, I still continue to go there because it tastes so good! They even have coupons on the entertainment book website.

I would call it what you expect from a sandwich/smoothie place. Acai bowl- good, but my bowl was 2/3 of the way full. The crunchy granola was very good. Mandarin salad- good, fresh ingredients, but nothing special. More like lettuce with the toppings on top rather than a mixed salad, you mix it yourself. Salmon patty sandwich- per my wife, totally average. Peanut butter protein shake- excellent, super good peanut butter taste! If you live in Kaneohe you don't have to drive to Kailua for Lanikai Juice. But if in Kailua, get your smoothie there.

Snotty cashier was my first bad impression. She had to take money out of the tip jar to give me correct change. Then she slapped it on the counter and didn't put it my hand. She was also yelling at the other lady working telling her how to make someone's ice cream. I ordered iced Thai tea with boba. It came out blended. I guess they assumed I knew it would come out blended, but I wanted mine liquid. So they never asked me. I was infuriated. She ended up adding more Thai tea to "dilute it"

They make a really good turkey chili. I usually get it with brown rice and comes with salad and a complementary pineapple ice tea. They also make really good acai bowls that's a meal on it's own. I prefer mine with soy milk, but apple juice is another option. Extra honey on the granola please...

Just my luck to discover this spot...for those of you who are familiar with Kailua, Bubble Berry has taken over the old TCBY. I was driving back from dinner, and saw that the sign had changed, so we decided to go in and take a closer look- and let me tell you that all of you out there will be glad I did!! Bubble Berry is almost an exact clone of the Fro-Yo Bar in Honolulu. They carry the same delicious fat free, low carb, no sugar frozen yogurt known as "Only 8" since it has only 8 ingredients (safe for diabetics etc). BUT it's better (dessert wise, maybe not so much healthy wise :) Primarily because they have a MUCH larger selection of delicious toppings from fresh fruits to cookie dough to cheesecake bites and even yes- MOCHI (my personal fave). Pretty much any delicious topping you can think of to make your super healthy fro-yo not so healthy after all. Plus they also have delicious bubble drinks in multiple flavors- which is awesome since it was previously hard to find Boba in Kailua. They also have "snow ice" which is that stuff that is even finer than shave ice (melts in your mouth like snow) that you can get flavored, with a snow cap, with azuki beans, lychee aga...the list is pretty much endless. Now if all of this wasn't good enough- they also carry multiple flavors of Mochi Ice cream from Bubbies, so now you can get the delights of Bubbies right in Kailua!! Last but not least they were super nice and pretty much let us sample whatever we wanted (which was everything:) All in all an absolutely delicious dessert experience- which I would highly recommend to anyone in the area. The only negative is that they haven't changed any of the kitchy neon TCBY decor which could really use an update.
