This location is fairly new to the QKC mall and was a nice addition to the food court since no other place in the immediate area serves this type of food. The central Maui area is very weak on foodie needs! Currently I come here only for the chicken katsu. I have yet to try other selections on the menu as I'm a bit apprehensive of their cooking style, and have favorites at other businesses. ATMOSPHERE: It's a takeout counter with mall food court-style seating. FOOD: Chicken katsu - Huge portion! It's about 3 or 4 fillets, 2 scoops of rice and mac salad. The batter is tasty and not oily, and the mac salad is pretty good but not the best I've had. The katsu sauce is too sweet for me. I use a store-bought sauce at home which is darker and saltier. SERVICE: Food service is quick and staff are friendly. OVERALL: Big portions, and competitive prices.

This location is within the mall food court. I would say its very similar to the L&L I go to at home in California. I had the Kahlua pork plate with one scoop of white rice and macaroni salad. The pork was tasty but was mostly cabbage. I know cabbage is cheap but I ordered the pork so you should actually make pork the star and not just have filler. The rice and macaroni salad were standard. Definitely just okay but its about par for food court food.

Very good food for the price. When you go there, it takes a little bit to cook, as the food is not pre-cooked. I have had nearly everything on the menu and notice a difference in taste from the other central l & ls. Plus the portions are really huge and can sometimes cause Hawaiian paralysis! If you want a good meal for the price, this place is much better than the other food court options. Trust me, bbq chicken, katsu, curry, etc., all very good and worth it!

Normally a big fan of L&L restauants. Thus location though, needs some help...not necessarily in the food, which is usually pretty good, but customer service...where very little exists. And while you can't 'expect' customer service at a fast food place, this one lacks it altogether. Six of us standing in line, one girl at one of two refusters, one guy cooking and two female workers going back and forth from front to back. At first I thought they were working till one came out to talk to her friends, didn't even bother to look at any of us. When paying for the food, the girl drops the loose change and bills in my hand, allowing several if the coins to fall on the counter. Without any hesitation, she looks past me and asks the next person, "Can I take your order?" Sounds like I'm griping but this visit lacked any true interaction...it actually felt like I was bothering them by ordering.

I literally threw my entire "healthy garlic ahi" plate away! The ahi tasted old, cucumbers were picked last year, lettuce was brown. Brown rice - you can't screw that up. Tossed it jn the trash and opted for Maui Tacos instead. Ahhhh - much better! $12 down the drain.

Ohh baby!!! L&L's are pretty consistent. This specific store was above most of the others. The Kailua Pork and Lau Lau plater sent my tastebuds into orbit. Everything was fresh and seasoned to perfection. My only regret is that I was too full to have a spam musubi :) There's always tomorrow....

This is probably my favourite food court food. It's reasonably priced, good-portioned, and made-as-you-order! Unlike other food court chains in the mall, it takes a bit longer because they grill your food as you order it to keep it fresh. I had the garlic mahi mahi, "healthy" option - loved it! :) Their #1 BBQ Mix is great as well if you like meat. Juicy chicken, well-seasoned beef. Nice service too! We got a few cups of ice water. :)

The seafood mix wasnt great. Everything was deep fried in a ton of batter. Maybe other things are better. For my $11 Im wishing I would have gotten food from panda express which is sad

Yum! I shared a katsu curry bowl and a kalbi plate with my sister, as we were trying to fill up our stomachs before heading to the airport that night. The curry had a kick and the don katsu was crispy and moist and delicious. The kalbi was well seasoned, though there was a lot of fat in the meat. Prices are decent and they give a generous amount of food. I loved the plastic Chinese soup spoons and the fact that they had both sriracha and garlic chili sauce.

I ordered a simple BBQ chicken rice bowl. I was the only one in line and it took them nearly ten minutes to make it for me. Maybe they prepare their chicken fresh to order? Okay, I can live with the wait. The rice was mushy and tasted like it had been sitting in a pound of melted butter. The chicken was whatever, and definitely wasn't super hot (there goes my fresh to order theory.) I wondering if it's just a location issue? Because everyone has rave reviews of the L&L on Pi'ikea.

I love the food but most I all I love the service!!! I know most of the staff and they are awesome!!! Trust me, I used to work next door to them :) I recommend this L and L instead of the one on Dairy Road in Maui Marketplace. This one in QKC is wayyyy more better food and service!
