My Friend's Place is A-Ok, as Yelp says. The sandwich was okay, if a bit expensive for what I had. My lady loved her chicken salad, though. She's not writing the review, so I'll stick with three stars. The staff was friendly, in spite of my dithering and floundering around trying to decide if I wanted anything at all. This place is very poultry-oriented and I don't eat poultry. There were maybe two options for sandwiches that had meat other than chicken or turkey when I went. The Reuben was no longer on the menu, but the guy told me that I could get the turkey Reuben. Um, no, thanks. I stopped by while out running errands during lunch and there was a steady flow of customers, so maybe I expect something different than the typical Roswellian sandwich eater.

It's a place. Was there during a slow down and the food took a while to be made. I'll try again during a rush and see if they are better at the speed. The burger OK. Worth a try.

Great find! I am surprised the reviews aren't better. Their pastrami sandwich was the best I've had in years. The sauerkraut was cleverly placed in between the meat. My husband had breakfast. And we shared a walnut brownie. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff, and good food. The health inspection on the wall even showed they received 100%! We will definitely eat here again. My only complaint is that they use Styrofoam cups instead of paper (bad for the environment).

As a loyal customer of 7 years I must say that today I was quite dissappointed in the customer service or lack of that i received. I find it quite difficult to run a business when you requre a minimum credit card transaction especially when my frequent visitor card was filled after my 10th visit. Since there is a 5.00 maximum purchase on the frequent visitor card and the drink i ordered took me over that max by 1.00 i was unable to purchase a beverage because like so many of us I didnt have the cash in my wallet. As a business owner myself the correct way of handling this would have been to throw in my beverage seeing as though I had just filled a frequent visitor card.

If you are in a bind and need a place for a quick bite...okay, I guess. Food is fine, nothing special. Decor is outdated, and it just feels medicor inside. The cost seems high for what you get too. For $7.00 you can get half a sandwich and soup, but i would rather pay $8.50ish at Panera or ABC and get a better quality meal and larger cup of soup. I would go the extra 5 minutes up to the Forum and enjoy a better meal.

Took wife here @ noon before going to art class at church. Made the decision to go here because Wendy's was slammed, Chick-Fil-A was wall to wall with SUVs and khaki slacks, and Grouchy's was, well, grouchy. Not a good decision process:"Hey, let's go where it's LEAST busy!" She ordered half tuna salad on wheat, broc/cheddar soup & dwink combo. I picked BLT pita with slaw and dwink combo. I will have to say my food was quite acceptable and deserved 4 stars. But.....wife's tuna salad was just tuna and mayo, as far as we could tell, schmeared betwixt two half slices of wheat bread. The taste and texture was like eating fish flavored mousse. I know it's a matter of preference, but adding a little relish, chopped onion, and boiled egg to the tuna salad recipe would've made a real difference. The soup? It was fine, but it was literally a cup, as in small foam container. Two good schlurps and it's empty! Wife insisted on 2 stars, so the average is 3. Badda bing.
