Fresh local ingredients and an amazingly talented chef. A bright spot for Augusta! I ate here twice while visiting friends. Fried chicken breast was perfect, miso glazed eggplant was to die for and butternut squash was amazing. My friend's burger was melt in your mouth. This is a place you must try!!!

Went for breakfast. Diner atmosphere. Veggie omelet and pork hash were good. Weak coffee. Cold unbuttered toast. Basic breakfast menu. Waitress was not very knowledgable about food.

It's good. Farm to table. We went there for lunch and had the grilled pork chops with peach and jalapeno chutney, with two sides. The chops were wonderful. The sides just so so but all in all a great place to have lunch for a reasonable price. Service was quick and the server was friendly. I will definately go back next time I am in the area.

I've eaten here a handful of times and have never been disappointed. The chef and his staff are super friendly and I always enjoy my meal..
I had high hopes for this place but my food was almost inedible. I got the Coca-Cola braised pulled pork which did not seem like it had been cooked in Coke and it was so fatty I could only eat a couple bites. I got the cheese grits for 1 of my sides and they pretty much tasted like water and were lukewarm, and had just a little bit of shredded cheese on top; not exactly my idea of real cheese grits. The only thing that I was able to eat was the asparagus which was 1 of the veggies of the day. That was pretty good and cooked just right. My boyfriend got the meatloaf which he said was just okay, the rice and gravy which he said wasn't that great, and the green beans which he said were quite good. So basically, if you want some veggies this place may be safe to go to but not really for anything else. They do offer loaded hot dogs for pretty cheap and those are hard to screw up so that may be safe as well. Another weird thing was they had french onion soup and soup of the day on the menu but they no longer offer either; apparently they now only have a bowl of $9 duck soup, the name of which the server could not pronounce. The inside was kind of a cool ambiance though, I'll give them that. Oh the last thing, when she took my plate which clearly had all the pork and grits left on it, she didn't ask if anything was wrong, offer me something else, or even acknowledge at all that I had only eaten the small portion of asparagus. That's not great customer service in my opinion. Eat at your own risk!

Made my first visit today. I got the pan seared steak. Very lean and tender, very good. I also had sautéed mushrooms. They were partially burnt, but i like mine like that. You may not. I also had eggplant grilled in olive oil. Very yummy, if you like olive oil. My family enjoyed their meals, and proclaimed it will be a repeat. You will have a wait for your food. Its a small place and very popular for lunch. I plan on trying the breakfast soon. - We finally made it to breakfast. They had the best bacon I have ever had. It was very smokey, and I loved it.
