We were a party of five that ate here for lunch on 3/07/2015. Our server was very good and got the order accurate and served up relatively fast. The food was delicious, I personally got their appetizer platter with stuffed mushrooms, chicken fingers and calamari, with a great house salad. This the 2nd I've eaten here.

I took my family there for lunch. The breadsticks were hard, the soup was so spicy we couldn't finish it. The kids Ravioli was too sweet and it only came with 3 raviolis. That might be ok for a 4 year old but not a 9 year old. Not what we would expect from Olive Garden.

This is a very good Olive Garden. I bring the family regularly and the orders and service are always right. One time I did take-out and I thought they shorted me on alfredo sauce. One call and their service manager mailed me a $15 gift card.

First of all just know it saddens me to write this review. I have been coming to this Olive Garden for years each time walking away saying wow with a smile on my face. The meal began was wonderful as always. My GF and I were seated promptly and the Waitress was nice and friendly. We both ordered the "never ending pasta bowl" and it was amazing. I could not imagine having enough room for a second bowl especially after the bread sticks and salad. This time my GF found a black hair at the bottom of her bowl of noodles. She has red hair. I notified the waitress and she in return notified the manager Ashley. Ashley apologizes and replaced the dinner bowl and offers my GF a free dessert. As for me, the confidence had already been ruined. This is a 5 star restaurant and I am very disappointed.

First time here. The name sounds better than it is. Took my mom here as part of her birthday. She didn't like it. Mom said the soup was cold. The grilled chicken was thin and burnt black. Nothing like the menu picture and nothing close to a hearty portion. The garden salad was mostly cheap iceberg lettuce. Rolls plain tasting. Mom described the food experience here as "shallow".

Poor service. Low quality food that is not actually freshly prepared per the server. All the servers are wearing frowns and the table side service is dismal at best. This used to be a nice place. Don't know what happened to this place since it opened in 2006. I witnessed staff drinking from paper cups at the beverage station and then place the cup (where their mouth was) back on the actual dispenser. I will not be coming back. I waited 6 weeks to write this review. I called and spoke to the "Manager" and he promised that he would address the issue and be sending me gift cards to regain my business. Neither happened. Skip it and go to any of the good restaurants around. Not worth your money or time.

To be honest, there's really not much I can say about a pretty average Olive Garden. Pretty sure that most people using Yelp have once visited one of these establishments. This Olive Garden does have a newer feel than other Olive Gardens I have visited. The layout is nice and there is a bar up front, so you can wait for your table while enjoying a beer, cocktail, or wine. There was a wait on Friday night during the summer (i.e. not as many students around). The good again was good, but pretty average for an Olive Garden. I had the Tour of Italy, which was a huge portion. The Lasagna Fritta was pretty good, but also a pretty large portion for an appetizer.

Was very delicious, very short wait time, party of 2, waitress was by several times, almost got annoying she was there so many times. Prices were reasonable, and paid at the table, left tip on new machine.

This is your classic Olive Garden. The biggest problem is probably that the line can get really long for dinners and there's not enough waiting room inside. Well, I guess the real problem is enough people in Athens think Olive Garden is a fancy restaurant to go for dinner. I'm not trying to snub the place, cause the food is good, but I can cook half of what's on the menu myself! Overall review: standard

There has been a huge change since I was there in September. We normally have spaghetti and meatballs. On this latest visit the spaghetti was outstanding and cook to a tee. The meat sauce was rich and meaty and the meatballs were totally acceptable. I'm very pleased to see the change.

Server was friendly (thus earning my 2, rather than one star). But, service was slow. Salad for 3 people had one slice of tomato and one pepperoncino. Coffee was served cold, had to ask for another pot of hot coffee. Entrees were dry, looked like they had been microwaved too long! No parmesan cheese even offered for the entrees. This was the worst Olive Garden I have ever been to. Will never come back. Expected much better from Olive Garden.

I absolutely love Italian, and I would love to rate this restaurant higher, considering I love so many of their dishes, but I can't. After many times of disappointment in the years they've been here, I was completely fed up while dealing with To Go. The order was placed over the phone, and I was told it would be 45 minutes for Pick Up. I arrived at fifty minutes exactly, expecting my food to be ready. Then I see the line. A MASSIVE line. So, I wait. And I wait. And I wait. 15 minutes go by and the line has barely moved. Please keep in mind, there are two managers standing near the To Go area doing nothing. And I'm not exaggerating when I say nothing. Another customer, obviously as fed up as I was asked why they couldn't check anyone out on the two extra computers and get us moving. They gave no answer and continued to stand around. An additional 10 minutes later, I finally get to the front of the line. So, 45 minutes to prepare the food, 25 minutes of waiting time, my food has to be ready, right? Nope. I had to wait, even longer to get my food. Before leaving, I asked if either manager was the general manager. I was told no, that they'd be in the next day. So I called the next day and was told I would get a phone call back. Three weeks later, and guess what? No phone call. Don't waste your money. And more importantly, don't waste your time.

First off, I have never been to an Olive Garden that serves bad food. The food is always good. Olive Garden has kept consistency with this since opening over a decade ago. My preference for this Olive Garden is during the week in the day when there are hardly any customers there. The weekend is too populated due to Olive Garden being one of the few good and affordable eateries here in Athens.

Man this place is great. This honestly has to be the best Olive Garden around. Super clean and very good food. Fast service and kids are not a problem.

I usually go to local restaurants but i decided to try out the Olive Garden about a month ago. We showed up on a Friday night around 7:30 and where seated around 8:45. We ordered are food in plenty of time so we could make a 10:30 movie only to have out food forgot about. We waited for about and hour and 15 mins. when the waiter finally came over to our table and tell us our food was made but never delivered to our table. So they remade out dishes and the manager came over in the mean time. The manager was very nice and paid for our meal and gave us a free desert. We missed our movie but our dinner was free so I everything kinda worked out. I wouldn't go back, not because we had such long waits but because there are better local Italian restaurants in Athens that are around the same price but the food is 10 times better.

It's Olive Garden. Food is alright but very pricy for what you get.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
