I normally abhor large chain restaurants like this, but, aside from the throngs of suburbanites flocking to stuff their faces, I was actually impressed with the food. I've eaten at a Bonefish previously, just not this one. We called ahead for reservations and they let us know that because we were eating during prime grazing hours that there might be a 15-20 minute wait...which there was, but at least they were honest up front. The bar was packed and I had to stare down the matriarch of a family of five for our hi-top. It was awful, but I prevailed. We were seated in a relatively short period of time and had out orders ready in a couple minutes. The waiter, every bit of 17 years old, was somewhat impatient, but I don't think he spit in our food. And he kept the drinks coming for the entire enjoyable experience. The bang-bang shrimp IS really good, despite the hype. I think that I won our little contest of "who got the best thing" with the $14 grilled chicken with artichokes, goat cheese, green beans and cheesy mashed potatoes. Mom had her favorite fish (not sure what it was) and my GF got the pecan-crusted trout with different potatoes. Everything was tasty and we had plenty pof food to go around. If I hadn't finished my meal, I would certainly have taken it home. I almost feel like I broadened my horizons a bit. Since my mom loves this place, I'm sure we'll go back.

One of my favorite restaurant chains. We were seated right away on a Friday night. What is the odds of that? Service was super. Bang bang shrimp was good as usual. Coconut shrimp was a tad over cooked and was comp which was nice. Spicy tuna bowl was very good, although they ran out of rice and gave me broccolini instead which I am fine with. The grouper could be a little fresher but was still good. Our bill for 2 was around $65 which was reasonable. Overall, our dinner experience was very good and will come back.

Everything tasted great. Everybody on our party of 8 wiped their plates clean. I had the seared ahi on mango salsa with potatos au gratin and a passion fruit mimosa. Thanks to our servers for a great service. We will be back when we go back to Georgia.

Well, there are good things to like about this place. The service was very good. The bang bang shrimp was pretty tasty, though pretty fried. The drinks were great: tried a watermelon cucumber martini, raspberry Collins, and a mango martini. All delicious. Food was decent, but not spectacular. I had the Chilean sea bass, and husband had the lobster. But nothing was unique, or stood out so much that I felt I needed to come back, other than the drinks!

At the suggestion of my friend there was another stop at a chain restaurant Bone Fish Grill. There we had a couple of drinks and snaked on appetizers. Everything landed in that nothing to write home about category. Server was helpful yet inexperienced.

I've eaten at this location several times over the years and have always had a great experience. The place is very well laid out with nice decor, it's a little dark inside but that adds to the feeling of romance unless you go with a dude (if you are a dude), but it's not so dark you can't order. They have a very good selection of liquors and wines and the bar is large and well stocked, nothing you order isn't on hand. The menus are thorough and easy to decipher, and everything sounds great. Service has always been very good at this location, even on a busy night. There was one time I felt I waited a big long to order, but the drinks are always refilled quickly and the food is prepared in a timely manner for what you order. Obviously if I ate well done steak I'd expect a long wait, but nothing I eat is ever cooked past medium rare so I don't have to wait long. The food is also very good to great, depending on what you get, I had salmon one time that was just a touch overdone, but still very moist and flaky, steaks are always cooked right on and tender to cut, juicy, and full of flavor. I'm surprised to see so many bad reviews here, maybe people are going on off nights, I've always been on the weekend when they're in full swing.

I don't understand why people flock here. The seafood dishes were overdone. The salad was limp. I waited for 30 minutes for a pickup order that was supposedly ready. When I got home I find that they left out two side dishes. Save time, money, and grief... eat elsewhere.

Wow ....We had 8 friends dine at the Alpharetta location and we were blown away. Service was outstanding and the food was a 10. I was surprised by the reasonable prices. I thought of Bonefish as a high end white table cloth place. 7 of us had the Mahi special with a lobster sauce. Plus 4 different appetizers, tuna, shrimp, calamari and clams. I highly recommend dining at Bonefish. Ask for the owner Jeff Donalson

Have eaten at Bonefish Grill many times and have never been disappointed in the food, service or atmosphere. The Bonefish salad and dressing is great, the Bang Bang Shrimp is a great starter and the Fish (Grouper, Trout and Sea Bass) is fantastic. Highly recommend this restaurant.

YUM! I've only been here twice and now, Bonefish has made it to my list of fav restaurants. They are primarily a seafood place, but if you're not really into eating scallops and shrimp, then there's a great fish selection. I had the crab cakes (holy, they were fantastic!) and sides of mashed potatoes and jasmine herb rice (both were excellent). We had bang bang shrimp for appetizer - the sauce is to die for. The portion is perfect and surprisingly very filling. I would have given 5 stars, but the service could have been better. I'm very glad that this place is less than a 10-minute drive from where I live, so I know I'll be back for more!

  • Gabriel S.

Really good food, Great Staff and very fast and clean. There could have been a bigger fresh fish selection for the price and the portion of fish I got for $25 was pretty small. Overall great menu and selection. I would go there again.

Great food, great service! I have dined here several times and it is always a consistent "go to" for a great seafood meal! However, the place fills up fast so if you don't like waiting get there early.

My husband and I just left Bonefish. It was the WORST meal I have ever had there. We used to go all the time (weekly) We have not gone in months. It Fathers Day. They have changed the menu since our last visit. I ordered a filet Med and mac& cheese (new menu item) The steak is raw & chewy. The Mac & cheese has mushrooms in it. The side vegetable had a bad odor. I could not eat any of my dinner and will not be going back.

Third time visiting Chain seafood spot - last time. Ambiance is nice, but the food just isn't up to par.

Food was great, waiter was not real up on the menu items or quick to take care of our table seeing as how slow it was on a Sunday afternoon. I think it was a weekend job for him, any way, atmosphere was good, lunch was about $50 so kinda pricey for fancy salads.

  • Kayleigh D.

I absolutely love this place. Tonight we started with the bang bang shrimp, calamari and lobster Rangoon, which was on the specials menu. They were all absolutely amazing. Love the dipping sauce that the calamari came with, it tasted like an Asian bang bang sa

How is it that I've never reviewed Bonefish? Crazy! I've been here literally a dozen times!! I'll make it short and sweet. Service is always, always excellent. We've had a few servers that were less than friendly but they still did their job well. Bar staff is super and very attentive, get them to make you a pomegranate martini, it's heavenly. I would say the weakest link is the hostess stand, more often than not they are not exactly welcoming. I've never had a bad meal here, Lilly's chicken is superb! This past visit one of the specials was a short rib with Marsala. As I told JB, our super spectacular server, I had a very bad Marsala experience a few years ago and couldn't eat it anymore. That sweet man brings our bread & olive oil along w/ a ramekin of Marsala to help me get over my phobia. Therapy at its finest. I gingerly dipped a finger in to taste and it was GOOD. Heck, it was better than good so I ordered the special and was not disappointed. That short rib was probably the best I've ever had, the Marsala a perfect complement. Note to management- give JB a raise, he makes you look good!!! Bonefish gets quite busy on the weekends so go early to avoid the wait. Try the bang bang shrimp and a pomegranate martini on the beautiful patio.

My family and I came here to celebrate a birthday. I couldn't believe that on a Sunday night they were in full-swing. It's a good thing we made reservations. Highly recommend making reservations for this place. I know that Bonefish is part of the Outback chain, so I had low expectations but this place was much nicer than I imagined. Unfortunately, they ran out of ceviche, so instead, we got the ahi tuna appetizer. Decent-size slices of tuna served with wasabi soy sauce and eh...sriracha mayo. The sriracha mayo was already on top of the fish, so if you're not a fan, you probably need to request to have it removed. Otherwise, this was decent. I decided on ordering the rainbow trout with the lemon butter sauce and a side of couscous. The trout was definitely easy to eat since they've fileted the fish for you while still in its skin. At first glance, I thought it was a small portion, especially with the couscous, but it's the right amount. I honestly expected something a little more. Service was decent. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and came back frequently to provide us more bread or water. Overall, the food was just ok. Nothing really wow'd me but it's got better offerings compared to the typical seafood chain restaurants. Service was great but I don't think this is a place worth waiting for.

The bang bang shrimp appetizers are small but quite good, though I would suggest coming during the week. The food takes a bit of a hit during the crowded weekends (Friday and Sat. I have not been on a Sunday ) the Grouper is good. Did not care for the Sea Bass.

Came for our anniversary and was seated quickly. Ordered lobster flatbread for appetizer. Had salmon with mango salsa and fish and chips. Salmon was excellent. Fish and chips were too greasy. Looking forward to desert. Service was excellent. Found $10.00 coupon online and had a gift card so made for a good night

Seared ahi tuna is the absolute best hands down. I have ordered it 50 other places and it is never as good as it is here. The bang bang shrimp is of course a favorite. Pomegranate martini is a home run.

WOW, my husband and I went to Bone Fish Grill tonight. We arrived and sat in a booth and were greeted my the crabbiest waiter ever. He took our order and we waited. We never recieved any bread. The bang bang shrimp came out and tasted like fried shrimp with mayo all over them. Then we waited for out entree to arrive. The manager came over and stated that the rice we ordered with our meal would not be ready for an addition 15 minutes. He insisted we order diffrent side dishes. My husband asked for the corn on the cob which was an additional $1 upcharge. My husband asked him if he would charge us for the corn and the manager stated "Oh, we have too"! WHAT crazy BS! The manager later did take off the $1 but with much complaining on our part. Overall, they are completly overpriced. The food was equivalent to Chili's quality( with way smaller portions) but they feel they can charge Capitol Grill prices. We ordered 2 ice tea's, 2 entree's the small portion( sea bass), and the bang bang shrimp. Our bill was $70.00 There are better place bank for buck with better service.

Being part of a chain, I had modest expectations. I wasn't disappointed. First, it is attractive in a sterile, corporate sort of way. The server was prompt and well trained if a bit too chatty and overly solicitous. The food was typical of a corporate kitchen. The portions were computer designed. The flavored were bland and the presentation simplistic. I ordered one of the evening "specials" which interestingly was already on the regular menu at a lower price. When I inquired about why the special was offered at a higher price, I was told it was because of the special pappardelle noodles that came with it.what actually arrived was a side of overcooked green egg noodles (not fresh pappardelle) that had been mixed with frozen peas and pea pods and too much olive oil...a soggy mess. The fish was so forgettable that I'm not sure what it was, but it certainly was tasteless. Bye bye Bonefish.

If i had to describe my experience in one word I'd say DISAPPOINTED!! Service was very slow at the Alpharetta location (even though the restaurant was virtually empty) plus the food was a complete let down. I ordered salmon and wifey ordered the shrimp po boy. Salmon tasted burned - not blackened, wife said het po boy was bland. Will not be making a second trip.

This place has gotten even worse - service is terrible. Took at least 5 mins before we were even greeted. We were then seated at a table - no silverware. The appetizers came and got cold before we could get the silverware. Daughter's entree had hair in it and we just couldn't get anyone's attention to it. Finally got hold of our waiter - he apologized - we understand mistakes can happen. Daughter's replacement was brought after another lengthy wait. In the meantime we needed a refill for our drinks but no one in sight to place the order. In short terrible experience - avoid this place.

I don't understand how this place does so much business. It looks packed almost every night. We recently dined in and we were not very impressed. Portions are small for the price you pay. I ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos entree. They were mini tacos and not the normal size you get at other restaurants. Service was so-so, they seemed understaffed for a Saturday night.

Wifey and I ate here recently and it was very good. While this is a chain, it does not feel like one when you are there. Wifey had the Grilled Tilapia, mashed potatoes and asparagus. The Tilapia was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The sides were both very good, although I found the asparagus to be a bit soft (Wifey prefers it that way). I had the Scallops and Shrimp...both were cooked perfectly and were extremely tasty. My sides were the green beans, which were superb...for me, they were the highlight of a very good meal. I also had the garbanzo beans...another really good side. Highly recommended...

Oh my gosh where do I begin? I met a couple of close friends here to celebrate leaving a horrible job, but anyway my experience was everything I was hoping it would be. The ambiance is nice, low lighting and a quiet scene. I can't speak on the drinks because I'm trying to get into shape and drinks are a no no right now. I had the steak and lobter special....it was amazing! Steak melted in my mouth. I can't remember the last time I had a great steak like that in Atlanta.

Went for an early dinner. Not busy, seated right away. Had the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer -it was on point, not as spicy as I remember but good nonetheless. I ordered a modified dinner which was two crabcakes, my husband had pumpkin ravioli with swordfish. Delicious, fresh, good quality.

Mmm, softshell crab. Got the email about the limited time availability and after a long day working in the garden we were ready for a treat. Ordered the soft shell dinners and 20 minutes later the manager walks up with nervous grin. Saying they ran out of crab. Huh? Your kidding right? No. Not funny. After 20 minutes? Planned to boycott Boneheads for a year but they volunteered to comp one of the appetizers so we're boycotting for just 6 months. If we knew they were out of crab we would not have come that night.

My husband and I came here for what looks like our last date night before our baby is here and we wanted to try something different and somewhat nice. We read reviews that their bang bang shrimp was amazing, so we got that to start out with. The shrimp tasted very frozen and the sauce was mainly mayo. Gross. The menu was very minimal. It's two pages, one side is all alcohol and only half of the other side are actual entrees. And for the price, you would think you'd get a good amount. NO. My husband paid $20 for a lobster dish that had two small pieces of lobster. So disappointing! The service was minimal as well. Nothing great. If you want real seafood, go to Pappadeaux or anywhere else in Atlanta. This isn't worth it.

This restaurant is part of a chain, but the food is usually excellent. If I could rate the food separately from the service, I would give them a 4 on the food and a 2 for service. We have had multiple experiences of being required to wait for 10-15 minutes before we got a menu. Then very slow service and our food orders coming out wrong. They seemed to have a lot of turnover and we stopped going about 6 months ago. Their employees were once quite happy and friendly, but within the last couple of years seem to be very unhappy (and are different from the employees we used to know). We will try again soon and change this review if things have improved.

Acceptable selection of fish. I like Halibut the best but they said that wasn't in season and recommended the Wolf Fish from Florida as a replacement. It was good but covered up by so much stuff I really couldn't tell exactly how it tasted. The texture of the fish was similar to Halibut and the dish was very good; I just like to be able to tell what I'm eating. I'm the same way with steak... if you have to cover it up with something, there must be something wrong with it. I probably should have told them to put all that extra stuff on the side but I was happily enjoying relaxing with my wife and conversing with our friends while we were ordering. Regardless, the meal was very good, appetizers were excellent (we had the Bang Bang Shrimp of course and some mussels that were very good) and for desert we had Sambuca in snifters. We're not big desert fans. Wish they had a better selection of beers but I enjoyed what I ordered -- a huge 22oz Bastard Ale and then a Sam Adams Octoberfest. Wifey and friends enjoyed a martini for a starter and then with dinner polished off a bottle of Pinot Grigio that was reasonably priced and tasty. We were there at 7pm on a Sunday night. Had no problem finding a parking space out front and were seated within minutes with no reservation. Service was excellent. I'd go again but will be more selective in what I order next time. Just kill it and grill it and leave all that other stuff for someone else.

If you are a fan of fresh fish, then this is a great place for you to go out to have a wonderful seafood dinner! They have a wide selection of fresh fish to choose from. You have many options on how you would like your fish cooked and prepared. They also have quite a few drink specials offered during various times of the week and a decent wine selection. Definitely a great addition to the neighborhood!

I have been to this Bonefish in the past. It is up to the quality of the others and the food is always enjoyable. The prices are about 5% higher than most other locations but are still reasonable. I had the Chilean sea bass with the mango salsa. It was cooked well and had great flavor. Always good and will be back when in the area.

Dined here for Mother's Day (tonight, actually). We only decided to try this place out because we had a gift card....totally let down. Not enough for a one star rating, but close enough. ALTHOUGH if you like bar food, you would probably like this place too. my sister and mother ordered the sea bass. mom said it was super salty. sampled some of their garlic mashed potatoes and it tasted standard. the complimentary bread came out...i dont think they could go wrong with the bread though, it tasted like..bread. What I DID like (specifically): -how they went around to the people waiting for a table still and gave samples of their appetizers, one which we ended up getting (the bang bang shrimp) -their blackberry cocktail with rum....tasty! -their house vinaigrette...tangy without overpowering the taste buds. -bang bang shrimp...although super "saucy," i actually enjoyed it...the sauce was good What I DIDN'T like (specifically): -we made reservations at 6:45...arrived at 6:30 (fifteen minutes earlier) and were STILL seated at 7:05...isn't that reservations are for? -their lack of service...although informative, she lacked the attention (didn't get our utensils, passed our table a few times when we were clearly ready to order, table who was seated next to us AFTER us got their food before us...really?) -got their ahi tuna and DISAPPOINTMENT! half was seared, half seemed overly cooked...and their coating was a bit too much, all i tasted was sesame seeds not tuna -baja fish taco...tasted so bland, wouldn't recommend probably will NOT be going again.

We reserved a seat online and had no wait on a Saturday night. We love bonefish in Florida and had to give it a shot in Georgia. The menu was similar and the food was outstanding. My wife was craving cheese cake and asked our waitress if they had any in the back. She told us they didn't have it on the menu yet so she could try it for free!! Great experience and great food. Can't wait to go back.

Very noisy, average service, and pretty good seafood. I can't say I would go back though. There are much better places for seafood in my opinion, and the service could have been way better.

Don't call ahead because it doesn't mean jack. My wife and I called ahead for 7 PM seating we arrived at 6:45pm and waited 45 minutes only to watch about four other tables of 2 or 3 be seated before us after we were told that we were next on the list. Oh yea and all of those people arrived about 15 minutes after us! Based off of the samplings they provided it probably wouldn't have been worth the wait or money anyway. Other locations may be ok but skip this johns creek location for sure!

More like zero stars for this mediocre chain. We just are here for brunch, and it seems like the comments from 6 months ago are still glaring issues. The kitchen and bar was extremely understaffed, resulting in significant wait times. 15 mins for a mimosa is absurd, and there was no garnish in my Bloody Mary, yet other tables had garnish. Server did not know the menu and seemed aloof. We asked if the tortillas on the fish tacos were flour or corn. He can back with the answer of 'they are a mix of both'. When our food finally arrived after about an hour, I received the wrong item and my wife's meal was undercooked (raw spaghetti squash is not good). After complaining, a manager came over. She made a ton of excuses, such as 'I just got here' and 'we just started brunch service a month ago and it hasn't been this busy'. She offered to comp the bill by 50%. When the check came after running my card, only the food was discounted, not the entire bill. I told the server it was incorrect, and he returned saying they couldn't do more because they couldn't discount alcohol. It's apparent the problem is with poor management that can't schedule accordingly or handle any situations. If you like mediocre Sysco offerings, I guess you should give it a try, otherwise support a local establishment that cares.

Best dinning experience I have had in a very long time. Our waiter was very professional and knew how to provide service. The food tasted great. We were there on valentines day without reservations and had to wait about 30 minutes but that is to be expected. Our waiter knew the menu well and was a ghost. At any moment during our conversation he would sneak in and clear the empty plates without us knowing it. It was very refreshing having good service. The food was well prepared and full of flavor. The portions were also very well sized.

We went for Christmas Eve dinner with my in-laws. I'd only been to Bonefish one other time (in South Bend, Indiana). Our server was exceptional, my food was okay, but it wasn't the best seafood that I've ever had. I ordered the shrimp and scallops and they were quite bland. I found the menu to be pretty simple, and the children's menu was pretty good as well.

Service is horrible. Waited over an hour and still did not get a table, despite others being seated ahead of us. We were told this was because of their "priority seating." Apparently if you call ahead they seat you in front of everyone else. In addition, the bartender took our order and started our drinks, then took and filled four orders while our partially made drinks just sat there. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never go to another Bonefish again.

The service and seafood are fantastic at Bonefish Grill. Try Bang Bang shrimp as a starter, it is great. The grouper and trout are prepared several ways. The desserts are large so you may want to share. The atmosphere is excellent but you may have to wait for a table so I recommend calling ahead for a reservation.

Had a wonderfuk meal at Luciano's Italian Restuarant because of a very rude greeting at BoneFish (aka Bone Heads) and wont go back. Three times we tried to eat here and three times we just left because we just could not get seated (figured three is a charm...guess not). Made a "reservation" for 7:30 pm tonight. Walked in, told the reception guy we have a reservation and he quickly shoved a radio pager in our hands and said "well, its not really a reservation, it is a priority seating. You need to wait with everyone else but you will have a priority over others. If the wait is an hour we hope to seat you in about 20 minutes" We walked 10 feet in to the crowded bar area and noticed lots of people waiting with pagers and no where to sit. Did not take long before we said "screw this" and walked out (after tossing pager right back at the snotty guy). We drove 5 minutes to Luciano's Resturaunt in Johns Creek and were seated right away and had an awesome meal (they even had a special...2 appys and 2 main meals for $30 total!!!!). Service was FAR ABOVE Bonehead's and I will definitely go back to Luciano's. Bonehead People: your simple bland over priced menu of fast food like stuff just is not worth waiting for especially after a rude greeting by some knucklehead at the door. I am going to Luciano's from now on and it is better quality and nicer people!

Having never been to Bonefish Grill before, we weren't really sure what to expect, but we had a coupon, so we decided to try it! The Bang Bang Shrimp is a great appetizer. I don't like really spicy food, so I wasn't sure about it, but it's just spicy enough. Between the 4 of us, we had salmon, grouper, talapia, and a burger (yeah, that was my brother....) We were all very happy with our fish- good flavor and texture. The whipped potatoes were really smooth and nicely flavored. The service was fantastic. We made a reservation and even though several parties were waiting, we were seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly but not overly so.

I went here with some friends, my first time going. I was excited because I heard so much about Bonefish, however I was very underwhelmed. The only thing nice I can say is that he outside patio seating is fabulous, but that wasn't enough to distract me from the poor service and not so great food. Our waiter checked on us twice in the 2.5hrs we where there and the location was NOT busy at all. We had to have waiters from other tables to grab us water or tell our waiter to come get us refills. For as much money as we paid for dinner/drinks, service should have been way better. The manger's sorrys meant nothing to me--we still paid a full tab..wont be going there again. if I could give a zero I would. My friend enjoyed the bang bang shrimp, which I guess is there signature dish but everything else, was bland.

Not bad. But not great either. The crabcakes were pretty good, but far too small and somewhat bland. The accompanying remoulade was spicy and flavorful but it tatsted like it was adding another 500 calories to the meal!

My love affair with this chain continues.... After being introduced to it by my husband in Orlando (where we went twice for dinner), we hiked up GA 400 to this outpost in Alpharetta. I needn't have worried because all was well. Fresh bread and Bang Bang Shrimp (a must) started the meal off. I had their special, the Kobe beef burger. I know, a red meat dish in this mostly seafood resto? Yup, and it didn't disappoint! The burger was huge - no way to eat that sucker like a lady, so I scarfed it down! Nice, big, juicy patty with lean and flavorful meat, charred to perfection. Their "special sauce," whatever it was, made the whole thing sing. Hubs had his usual, the seared ahi, which had a slightly different presentation, but it was still yummy. We capped it off with the brownie. Oh.My.Gawd. This version was even better than the one in Orlando. Super smooth, nicely heated, with a generous amount of whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. It was perfection. We promptly drove back home and fell into a food coma. PS - the one star deduction is for service. I think our waiter was really overwhelmed with a few bigger parties he was tending. It really should be more like 1/2 a star deduction.

I don't think I've written a review for a chain restaurant. Mostly because I think reviews help independent restaurant owners improve and I'm not sure how many chains are reading Yelp reviews. I'm making an exception because the gluten-free menu here is so good that I have to let other people who need good gluten-free dining options know about this. For starters, the gluten-free menu is extensive. It's not some after thought printed on an index card. Great salads, appetizers, entrees, and even dessert (almost unheard of on most gluten-free menus). We started off with cocktails and can I say that we had the BEST Cosmopolitans we have EVER had? I know that seems weird. The wine selection was very mediocre so that's why we ordered cocktails but wow! I had 2 and my husband had 3. Luckily, this restaurant is right across the street from our neighborhood. ;) We had Edamame (nothing spectacular but good) and saucy shrimp from the GF menu. The saucy shrimp was really good. Surprisingly good. For entrees, the 3 of us (me, my son and daughter) who are GF ordered the following: scallops and shrimp x 2 and I had the Chilean Sea Bass with mango salsa, rice and seasonal veggies (carrots). I would like to think I loved everything so much because my expectations were lowered but, no, everything was delicious!! For dessert, we tried the creme brulee. While it wasn't anything out of the ordinary, it was good and again, nice to have because most gluten-free menus don't include dessert options. The service is also worth mentioning. We were seated promptly and our server was both friendly and attentive. Given that I've now had to move one of my former favorite local restaurants to the "not gluten friendly" list, I'm happy to have found this option. It is seriously delicious and even if you are kind of a food snob like we are, if you are truly allergic to gluten or have Celiac, this is a restaurant worth trying. I promise you won't be disappointed. Okay, maybe the atmosphere could be a bit better but other than that, the food is great. We will be back.

Nice restaurant with a great atmosphere - esp the back porch area. I had salmon salad w/asparagus and it was good. They push their bang bang shrimp -- it's fried and covered in some kind of tangy mayo sauce -- and this is their signature dish. The fish is kinda pricey.

After our hard to break bread came out we realized this place was empty on a Friday but it still took us 45 mins to get service? The Hypnotiq martini's came with amusingly entertaining glow sticks, but not enough to hold us over THAT long. What may have kept us from leaving was the fact that the waxed floor was so slippery, it was something of a game to watch the servers try to maneuver between tables with plates in hand. On the plus side was the very well seasoned scallops, and Chimichurri sauce worth checking out.

Even though I only had appetizers and drinks, it was all very good. FOOD: We started with the complimentary freshly baked bread and olive oil with pesto and sun dried tomato. It was hard to stop eating the bread. We had the BangBang Shrimp, Mussels Josephine, Coconut Crusted Shrimp, and Crispy Calamari. I think this place is known for their BangBang Shrimp since a lot other people ordered it too. The crispy shrimp coated in a spicy cream sauce(came with chopsticks) were tender with a touch of spice. The mussels were cooked in a garlic, basil, and lemon wine sauce which was great to dip the bread. The coconut shrimp was coated in fried coconut which was very tasty. The calamari was drizzled with a Thai sweet sauce, which is okay. I prefer my calamari with marinara sauce. The apps and drinks were all very good.

Great location and atmosphere. The food was perfect and the servers Jason & Brittany were very friendly and helpful with selections. Very personable servers and staff. Definitely a keeper in the short list of favorites. The location was very busy but the service was on point and very enjoyable.

Bonefish always comes through. When other chains fail and scrimp, you can count on Bonefish for good prices, well prepared and original food. They didn't disappoint this time either. Of course we did an order of the Bang, Bang shrimp which came out hot and crunchy. I found the soup (though the wife didn't like it) to be very rich and flavorful. Always a good choice when you want fish.

Yum yum! I love me some Bonefish Grill. Great menu full of fish, meat, and fresh ingredients. My personal favorite is the salmon topped with the pan asian sauce. And I always make sure to go at least once while they have the seasonal succotash. You can't go and not try the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer -- spicy and delicious. It's a little pricey, but it truly represents the "you get what you pay for" mantra. Great service, great food and a nice atmosphere. Totally worth it.

Delicious seafood and fantastic martinis. Bonefish has a welcoming contemporary atmosphere with an attentive unobtrusive wait staff. We started off with the Bang Bang shrimp: terrific but it has a kick. The winter white Cosmo is fabulous. It has a great balance without skimping on the vodka. For dinner I had Lily's Salmon which is just like Lily's Chicken but with salmon. As a side go with the mashed potatoes instead of potatoes au gratin. Adding the house salad for 2.50 is a great choice. On a weeknight dress is primarily business casual.

BONEFISH...... What happened to you? My wife and I have dined at Bonefish in every state we have lived in over the past 7 years and have been eating at this location for the past 3 years. We went Monday Jan 20, 2013 and they have changed things, small things but noticeable. Just one for example. THE BREAD, since when do i need to ask for my bread and why does it come out on that nasty little white plate. the baskets are much much better, the bread gets cold so fast on the plate and they must have a few new servers because the service was not the friendly service we are used to and we were there at 6:30 not even close to closing time. This experience has my wife and I rethinking this location. If this location is under new management they should rethink their strategy.

Ever since I bought my house in Alpharetta 3 months ago, I have been in awe by the crowds that religiously flock to this restaurant on a daily basis. As a matter of fact, my realtor used this restaurant as a selling point when showing neighborhoods in this area. On a random Friday evening, the wife and I decided to try this "Mecca of suburban dining". I called around 10am to make reservations, I was no fool. I have seen the packed parking lot and refused to be a victim. When we got there, there was no parking to be found in front of the restaurant. We had to park in an abandoned lot. No worries, we had reservations. When we get to the door, there was no room to set foot inside. After about 2 minutes of "jostling", I get to the hostess counter to check-in. I was politely handed one of those "light-up" coasters, and told that I would be seated in 20-30 minutes. I told her that I had reservations....Apparently, reservations don't matter here. We decided to wait as we just knew it would be worth it. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp, which was pretty decent. My wife ordered a fish plate which tasted right on par with something from Red Lobster. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai....which is probably the worst thing I have ever eaten. It tasted like the cook poured a cup of sugar on top of my noodles. I asked the server to take it back and ordered a Kobe Beef Burger, knowing that this would be hard to mess up. Surprise, the burger was awful, and actually had bones in it {O_O}. I think that this place only gets business due to the lack of competition in the area. If you are in the mood for seafood, skip this place and go to Red Lobster....you will save $50 and won't have to deal with ridiculous crowds.

Bad service. Waiter told me they were out of beef after everyone else had their food and they asked me to order something else. Then they brought me the original order and didn't say anything other than "oh well we had enough." Another guy at the table got a very rare burger when he ordered well done.

I hate to bring down the rating of this place but I got to tell you, I did not like this place as much as the other reviewers did........I heard really good things about this place so I was very excited to go there. The restaurant is very nice inside, clean but a little too loud for my taste almost like a sports bar.... We ordered the bang bang shrimp for appetizer. While it was good, it tasted just like the peri peri shrimp they serve at the Bone Heads. Except you pay double the money here for it being served on a pretty plate. Our entree of fishes while they were good and fresh, were nothing amazing. For the money, I would much rather go to a nice restaurant and get something better or just go to Bone Heads. (God, I wish they were in Gwinett!!)

Nothing but good things to say about this place. They are open late on the weekend. They take reservations (not that you need them late). The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Our drinks were refilled regularly and more wine was offered when our glasses got low. We had the shrimp app which is apparently a signature item. It was friend shrimp with a spicy sauce. YUM. I got the grouper with mango salsa. Doug W got the group stuffed with crab and shrimp and other goodies. My sides were seasonal vegetables (which needed a bit of salt) and potatoes au gratin. The au gratin was very cheesy in a good way. Left feeling extremely pleased with the whole experience.

I've been here twice and both times had an excellent experience. The food is quite good, I've had the Bang-Bang Shrimp both times as an appetizer and you can't go wrong with em. I've had the ahi -tuna entree which was done perfectly and grouper imperial which was wonderful. I enjoy the decor which is nautical but classy, and the service has been good. The first time I was there was for business and we were there around 7, the place was very busy and loud and I had to strain to hear my colleagues. The second time I went with my wife and we got there at 9:30 and were seated right away and could have a conversation without yelling, so if you're going during prime time make a reservation and be aware of the noise factor. All in all a fantastic place for seafood, enjoy!

My husband and I went here for our Anniversary and were very disappointed in the service. It took forever for our waiter to come to our table and take our order even though the tables next to us had already gotten their appetizers. He didn't refill our water either so we were really getting upset. After waiting fifty minutes our food still had not come out, even our salads! Meanwhile the table next to us was already paying their bill. Our waiter came to the table and asked if our food had arrived and we sad no so he said he'd check on it. We then saw him waiting on two other tables instead of ours so we had enough. We left and won't be coming back!!

One of my favorite restauarnts in the area. Great service and great food. If you get a nice evening, have drinks and appetizers on their large covered outdoor patio. Fish served in different styles, and all other foods on the menu are top notched. Can get busy so make reservations.
