As far as fast Chinese food, this place is pretty good! They are quick and efficient! Always get the order right!! The portions are large so the price is pretty good!

Excellent customer service, fast delivery, and it was hot and fresh. I am very picky when it comes to Chinese Food and this by far taste like authentic Asian food and I suggest the shrimp chow mein fun, omg it's orgasmic.

We placed an order for delivery, for the first time at China Garden last night. We ordered Seven Stars Around the Moon and Chicken Lo Mein, Egg and Shrimp Rolls, Teriyaki Chicken and Crab Rangoon. The food arrived fast and hot! The portions were large and delicious... not salty nor any detection of MSG. I look forward to dining in next time.

Ordered delivery on a Friday night at 6:30 and was told it would take 1 hour. An hour and 40 min later.... -General Tso chicken was very sweet...more like honey chicken. Tasted good just not what we ordered. -Egg drop soup was a flavorless broth with rubbery chunks of egg -Crab Rangoon seemed like it had been fried several hours ago. It was very chewy! -The vegetable lo mein was very good once reheated. -We received a won ton soup for free as marked on the container. Nice gesture but it was not very tasty either.

China Garden is my neighborhood Chinese carryout place, and they certainly do an adequate job with Asian-style fast-food. You'll find China Garden in the Publix shopping center at the intersection of N. Dale Mabry and Linebaugh Avenue in southern Carrollwood. They sit right next door to Tijuana Flats Mexican restaurant. China Garden has a large and diverse menu with a wide variety of lunch and dinner specials. Most folks are phoning in their carryout orders, and they'll sit at the few tables inside the restaurant while waiting for their food. I seldom see anyone actually eating at these tables. The folks here are very friendly and accommodating. They'll customize the sauces and adjust the level of heat in their dishes to meet your needs. What I especially like is the fact that they'll slip in free appetizers or free soup depending upon the size of your carryout order. This is not the best Asian food that you can find in town, but they are certainly fast, inexpensive, and tasty. Just what you need on a sloppy, rainy night!

Decent Chinese food. Good price good chicken teriyaki and the crab ragoon is good I like the kung pao chicken pretty decent. It's better than most other place around.

Had the pupu platter everything was freshly made and very tasty. We have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant. Very pleased plus it close as well. You will not be disappointed.

I live down the block from this place and in the area I would say it's the best in the area. They always have fresh good tasting food. Nothing out of this world but very good and satisfied also friendly service and they always get the order correct which means a lot.

I was craving Chinese food as one often does and needed to take care of my fried rice fix. My wife and I saw the reviews on here and decided to check it out. We decided to get a take out dinner special, which for the two of us, included a quart of Won-ton Soup, Honey Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken and two egg rolls for 20 bucks. When I got there, I felt how heavy the bag was and thought I had picked up someone else's order. When I got home however, it was my order, just A-LOT of food! The soup had about 6 big Won-tons in it and the serving size for the chicken orders was massive. We could have fed six people with all this food. And we were not hungry an hour later! But if were, there was a ton of food left over! I will say that the food was good, however the egg rolls were not my favorite... They just tasted more greasy than anything else. We will definitely be going back!

Solid Chinese place. Actually, it's the only solid take-out Chinese place in the area. The quality of the meat and vegetables is great and everything is cooked really well. I now have a go-to quick Chinese place in Carrollwood. I would recommend calling your order in ahead of time as they get very busy around lunch. The order online feature on their website is so slow that when I placed the order and arrived 15 minutes later, they had not received it. It's through a third party vendor, so it's much quicker to just call.

Just ordered delivery from here. Pu Pu Platter and general tso chicken. Was honestly the grossest and worst tasting Chinese food I have ever had in my life. Not one single item tasted like anything resembling food. The egg rolls tasted like they were filled with rotten cabbage and there was a large puddle of oil beneath by chicken...which was completely flavorless. I threw away $21 and am still hungry. I just tagged them in my phone as "Do NOT Order". I'm so grossed out.

I called in a large order, late on a Saturday night, and was treated by courteous and friendly person. They took the large order told me to expect delivery to take anywhere 45mins to an hour. At 45 mins on the dot the order arrived and was reviewed with me by the delivery driver. everything was there as expected with a bonus pint of shrimp that was marked "free." the food was hot, fresh and delicious. All my friends asked that I share the phone number to China Garden, so that in the future they could order or visit them. Great service and food! Love the Shrimp in Lobster Sauce as well as the Shrimp and Sesame Broccoli... Mmmm :0)

Very good Chinese takeout/delivery. We ordered the beef with black bean sauce that was very tasty, the beef with broccoli which was very fresh and good, the chicken with garlic sauce which was the best we've ever had, and the house special fried rice which was very fresh and seemed less unhealthy than other places around Tampa. Would recommend trying them out when in need of good and fast Chinese food.

Grab lunch from here about once every other week. The lunch special is a great deal at $4.75. Your choice of meal, with pork fried rice and egg roll. Large portions, too. If you order spicy, you will get SPICY. Definitely more of a take out place, not a date place.

Not the best but not the worst. I had the C19 combination platter - chicken with string beans. Comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. The chicken was in thin strips. I prefer when the chicken is more medium size pieces.

China Garden is the best bad-Chinese-take-out place in Old Carrollwood. We order from there at least once a week and it's consistently great bad-Chinese-take-out. Fuck Panda Express.

It was pretty good take out chinese. I would NEVER eat there though. No A/C and barely any room, not unlike most take out places. I had the General Tso and was pleased. I will go here again when I get the chinese food itch.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
