This is the best Chinese Food in Tampa. The food is very fresh and delicious. The taste is the same as I ate in China.

Very disappointing. Fried rice tasted like left overs and crunchy noodles for the won ton were stale. Bad fortune for those expecting decent Chinese food.

Quick takeout Chinese food. I've been here twice. I haven't been disappointed, but I haven't been completely satisfied either. The crag rangoon is really good. a little sweeter than i'm used to, but good. Their egg rolls are really yummy, but a little too greasy. They also don't do a very good job of trimming the fat off of their boneless spare ribs, which results in a lot of gross chewy pieces. I definitely won't be getting those again. In the future i'll probably stick to the rangoons, egg rolls, and shrimp fried rice.

Easy to order from mobile meals, convenient. However, the crab Rangoon had hardly anything in them and were sweet. The bourbon chicken was awful! It smelled like wet dog and had a horrible taste. Chicken wings were good..... can't get passed feeling like I was tasting sweaty armpit combined with wet dog meat! Gross. ... never again!

I had their scallops never again, and then they over priced me for me to be not satisfied with the food but the people that work there was very nice.

This place is always busy. I'm not one to frequent strip mall type Chinese joints on a regular basis, but this place is just too affordable and too tasty to pass up when we don't want to cook dinner at home :) We've been here at least 5 times. We've tried a few dishes, all have been very tasty. They'll customize anything you want to taste which is a huge plus for us (spice lovers here!) Our favorite dishes are the special veggie fried rice (they put a lot of veggies, the most I've seen in any fried rice I've ever ordered). We also usually get the Singapore rice noodles with shrimp and/or chicken. Everything is made fresh fresh to order. The people who work there are super nice, and there is even a place to sit outside while you're waiting for your dinner. You can even eat inside the restaurant I think if you want. We've always ordered our food to go.

This place is great if you're looking for an affordable lunch on the go. For 6 bucks you get a generous portion of meat, an unreasonably large portion of fried rice and a soda as long as you get there before 3pm. I always get the bourbon chicken or the sesame chicken , depending on my mood. The bourbon chicken is made with strips of dark meat with caramelized onion and mushrooms, all swimming in a sweet and savory bourbon sauce. The sesame chicken is lightly breaded and not too sweet, served with steamed broccoli. The pork egg rolls and wonton soup don't disappoint, either. Skip the flavorless duck sauce packets (what the hell is that supposed to be anyway?) and ask for a small side of their warm sweet and sour sauce. I give China City 3 stars because it's not worth the price after 3pm.

I think this place is awesome. I really wish the lunch specials came with an egg roll. But I'll get over it. You will not be impressed with the ambiance, but you will be with the food, and that's what matters to me in my neighborhood Chinese place. And I'm seriously not trying to be racist, I promise I really am not, but every time I drive by this place I can't help but notice a bunch of Asian ppl. You KNOW you're in the right place if that's the case! The have an authentic Chinese menu as well as all the Americanized favorites that keep me coming back! I wish the rice you get with the lunch combos was better, kind of boring and dry, but I'll get over that too. Check it out!

I keep going back---only b/c it is the only Chinese takeout place near my house, but every single time it disappoints. The fried rice is soggy and flavorless and sits in a crockpot all day until served, any sort of fried chicken dish (General Tso, Sesame, etc) has soggy breading and little to no meat, and the Lo Mein has no flavor. For the Lo Mein, fried rice, and Mu Shu Pork I think the only seasoning they use is soy sauce. Where is the flavor??? Even the egg drop soup, which is a takeout stample, is watery and bland. I don't know how a restaurant can produce such mediocre food time after time, but they have achieved it. Also, the owner(?)/guy at the front counter who is there more often than not, calls be 'Lady'--not cool.

I picked up food here recently and quite frankly this is by far the worst Asian cuisine that I have ever consumed. The General Tso's chicken lacked any resemblance of what you typically get at other places and was so tough that I now have a permanent issue with mastication (only being slightly hyperbolic here). The egg rolls tasted old - kind of like they were fried hours before I ordered them. The noodles were so oily that I thought about saving some for my next oil change. What a disappointment considering there are not many other Chinese take out options in the area. I cannot think of anything positive other than being able to conveniently order online.

Pleasantly surprised...it's a take out place but has authentic Chinese which is actually pretty good...except maybe a little too salty (for my taste) but will definitely come again (and ask to go easy on the salt). Glad to see another place in New Tampa with good authentic Chinese !

Went in to grab some egg rolls & chicken fried rice. Ready quickly, tasted pretty good. Place was super busy.Guy at the counter had a bit of an attitude, but probably because they were busy.

The people there are super friendly always greet us with a huge smile. The chicken fried rice is probably the best thing there, the other orders I am too crazy about

An 【undervalued authentic restaurant】! Good Chinese cuisine means totally different for Chinese people and American guys. If you choose from the authentic menu, you will be surprised why this restaurant has not been more famous! Things worth trying: 剁椒鱼片,干锅大虾,酸辣粉,热干面, and so many things to explore!

I always go here for quick Chinese food. It is good quality and always super yummy. The owners are actually friendly and always chit chat with me about school and work. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving budget friendly "Chinese" (Chinese-American style) fast food.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
