Sunrise has needed a new sushi place like this. I love it here. I have gone here many times before and it has been good. There is good quality sushi and the service is good. But recently I went here and was eating when I turned my head and saw another table taking a plate of the conveyer belt, take off the cover on top and then put it back. They repeated this several times. The sushi was good but knowing that I might eat something that was touched by other costumers is uncomfortable.

I have been here many times, while it seems good prices once you start adding little plates it will get a bit expensive considering that you are in the middle of a mall.... I do not believe those comments about the water, I assume health dpt does their job so I would not worry about that.

Surprisingly good sushi in the middle of Sawgrass Mills Mall! Great quality, quick and painless. Very simple system, u can try many different plates for a reasonable price!

If you are craving real, gourmet, fresh sushi, don't come.. The prices are average, the selection is ok, and the taste was moderate.. I mean, it's in the middle of sawgrass mills, what else were you expecting? Other than that, it's really just ok. The portions were tiny, so if you are eating w/a family, stay away. I liked the fact that I had something decent to eat at this mall, without having to leave the forever 21 store..

Let me first tell you an amazing deal for sushi, if you wait until 10 pm all sushi's plates cost $1 dollar. The volcano was my favorite, bittersweet taste.! The service is not that good, some waiters are super nice other ones are not. But if you get the deal for 1 dollar its worth every cent.

This is probably some of the best mall grub out there. I had some sushi and the lovely and original beet and avocado salad. It was a little crazy and my bill was messed up but it was definitely worth the stop.

Warm sushi. Not great tasting. The miso soup was watered flavor. Will not eat here again. All the sushi are not kept cold. There's no time on them. Who knows how long they sit in there. Hope I don't get food poison. I do not recommend this place to any one.

I love Sawgrass Mills Mall (once I have found parking) I love the idea of a sushi conveyor belt restaurant in the middle of the mall! The dishes are well displayed and tasty. You can walk by, look at the dishes, pull up a chair and enjoy. Diners can also order off the menu.

I went here today with a friend, it's located in the Sawgrass Mills Mall if you're coming from the Target entrance, going past the section with Ben Sherman, Levis, Express (the top stores I go to lol) and what is this sitting almost in the middle of where the Dippin Dots used to be? SUSHIGAMI! For those unfamiliar with the kaiten (conveyer belt) sushi concept, sushi is placed on different colored plates (which represent varying prices) which by way of conveyer belt (duh) move throughout the dining area. You're given a menu and on it is a legend which indicates whether something is spicy, cooked, vegetarian, must be ordered via your waiter/waitress, and what color represents what price...ranging from $3.00-$7.00 The nigiri (sushi) I believe are all two pieces each. I had the squid, yellowtail, and for sashimi I had four pieces of albacore in ponzu sauce. Each had some garnishes like jalapeno, yuzu pickle relish, etc. My friend had a roll 4 pcs, (I forget which), edamame, yellowtail nigiri, inari (fried tofu with what looked like spicy guacamole) nigiri. As for the quality...I think you pay more for the concept and convenience. Not gonna lie, I'm biased because I get free sushi elsewhere and I've had melt in your mouth sushi in NYC. As for a quantity/quality/price evaluation, that's up to you to decide against what other sushi place you normally frequent. Personally, if I had my regular places for sushi, I'd go elsewhere. If I'm in the mall though, I'd go for a quick bite. That said, I like the different garnishes and variations on the sushi/sashimi. The service is quite helpful too.

So I made the huge mistake of coming to sawgrass mills on a saturday... what a zoo. After an hour of fighting through seas of roller suitcases and seeing the lines to get into the luxury store I needed to eat something fast, quick, easy and delicious. I have been to conveyer belt sushi places before and I usually get overly excited and eat too much but I tried my best to stay calm and plan out my meal. As we approached the huge bar in the center of the mall we noticed every seat was filled, pretty good for 230PM. We waited about 3 minutes and a spot opened up and a waiter sat us right away with menus, soy dish, and chopsticks. As the plates go buy you can look up to see how much each color costs. i ate mostly light pink ($5) and dark pink ($6). The best part about it being so busy is that you know everything is fresh. Why this isn't the best sushi I've had by far: 2 people, $48, 15 minutes, full bellies, was pretty good statistics, also the waiters were super nice and its fun to watch the action of the chef's working away.

So at first I was waiting for about 5 minutes to even be noticed in line. When I asked for water with lemon I got a lime and then it took about 5 minutes for someone to notice me again in order for me to place an order. I did not know how the restaurant worked. So I ordered 2 rolls that I thought would be cheap. The sushi is pretty good. So I thought everything was good right. I was charged more than what I thought the bill was going to be. Mind you no one explained anything about the process so when I'm telling the waiter that I didn't know all he tells me is I'm sorry and does nothing else. It is because of the slow service and their failure to inform me on how things work and their prices that I will most likely not be coming back here. I feel like they only wanted the money. I am just disappointed.

Sushigami, oh how I love it! Before this placed opened, we would go to the mall and walk by with anticipation! Once it opened we were so excited! We checked out the menu, and were turned off by the prices. I have a family of 4, and we love sushi! I know we'd spend a fortune if we all ate there on empty stomachs. So I put it off. Until one day my brother-in-law suggested we try it. Why not, the kids were in school, it would be just me. I'm so glad I went. The sushi is so fresh, so good! I love the concept of the plates going around and being able to see everything right in front of me before I decide what I want. I've taking the family since then, and we were able to all have lunch and not spent toooooo much. I still think paying $7 for a plate with 4 pieces of sushi is a little nuts, but sometimes it's just worth it!

Great spot for a quick bite to eat. I loved the rotating sushis, you can just grab them and not have to wait for service! Very convenient for on the go people.

Service was slow and the beer was warm. I told the server and he brought me a bucket of ice??? I didn't have time to wait for it to get cold so didn't touch it and was still charged. Not a big deal but I am not used to having to chill my own beer. The sushi is good and the selection plenty and we will go back cause we love the sushi mover that constantly sends delicious sushi straight to our table.

  • Sarah G.

very overpriced. I was also disappointed in the selection they offered. The udon soup with shrimp tempura was bad. The shrimp tempura was very greasy and the udon noodles were rubbery. They gave us water in plastic cups, weird for a sit down restaurant. The place wasn't busy at all but the service was still slow. I did like their tamago, but that's about it. I wouldn't eat here again. I left hungry and felt like I wasted my money.

Loved it! Took my wife for shopping in Sawgrass mills last week, and since we are both Sushi lovers, we ware very Pleased to see the new addition to the Mall. We was seating very nicely by the nice host, who gave us a short but informed information of how the concept works. We tried variety of Dishes from the Moving belt, that kept bringing us fresh and tasty Sushi and more. We also ordered the Tomato salad that was awesome, and a special made Friend Chicken Roll that was Great as well. the service was nice and professional, and when we ask the shift manager a question he took 10 min of his time to explain us about the company and the Sushi. we also Had a couple of cold Saki and they also served cold beers witch was decent for a nice Shopping day. Overall We really enjoyed the experience of Sushigami , and will defiantly stop by for more in our next visit to Sawgrass mall. its defintly a place to chill in the middle of a hard shopping day! Thumbs up ! A++++++++ Ed & Ana Plantation , FL

The concept is great, the food is good, the price is a little high. The service has been bad the two times I visited. Really bad. The best things are the shrimp or salmon tacos. Great value for either of those items.

I was finishing up my Christmas shopping at Sawgrass Mall and decided to stop by for a quick bite. I felt like I spent more time waiting for the sushi pieces I ordered than it did for getting all the presents for my and my husbands family. The waiter was attentive and sweet, but it didn't make up for the wait time, and the extremely small portions for the price. I could have probably eaten everything that was on the conveyor belt and still feel like I could eat a full meal at Texas de Brazil. The sushi was okay, but nothing to write home about. Well, now that I think about it, I could have probably written a note to my parents, sent it via homing pigeon and received a reply all while waiting for my order.

Sushi Gami offers a great unique experience and a lot of happy faces. The food is awesome! I really advise visiting, I never liked sushi before I ate here and it really enlightened me.

What a great concept and a great way for people to come to your restaurant with the moving conveyor belt with the food moving around. We sat down, each picked a plate and started to eat are sushi, as I watched the food go round and round I started to wonder how do they keep track of how long the food has been on the conveyor. We asked the waiter and he said "are chefs are specially trained to notice bad food". I was shocked at his answer and realized they have no way to know. We paid our tab and walked away in shock on how this place can stay open and not guarantee food safety. Save your self the food poison and skip this place.

Finally we have "kaiten sushi" in FL But not so fresh and start $3.00 ~ is not reasonable Original kaiten sushi start $1.00 ~ normally. $3.00 plate sushi at this place are usually $1.50 another kaiten sushi place It's expensive

This is a total rip off! Do not go there! No service, sushi is way overpriced and the quality is worst than Publix. This is a gimmick at best. Avoid with a 10 foot poll!

Fresh sushi and very friendly. Fast service and great selection. The perfect spot for a quick bite and off you go. I won the yelp giveaway for checkin I to yelp. There is a carousel that brings all the different priced plates ranging from $3 to $5. They make the sushi in front of you.

Surprisingly decent sushi for mall food. Small portions so getting full may be a little pricey. Great concept! Friendly service.

  • Adam S.

I would give zero star If I could, the food is soso but a "fancy" price . And always be careful with the receipt , they had two drinks which we didn't order and brought back another receipt with a wrong calculation with added 10 dollars to it. The manager came at last but with a bad attitude! I'll never go back again nor any of my friends

A rotating sushi bar is such a cool concept. They have a good selection to choose from. The salmon tacos were on point. But damn the service was just horrible!! They have a bunch a 12 year old kids running the place. When I finally got my check I asked the girl who dropped it off who the server was for the section I was in and she said that it was her, but not once did she stop by to see if we needed anything!! I had to ask the bus boy for water, wasabi, ginger and a cappuccino. As a server you should always make it a point to greet your table, check on them periodically, make sure the guest is taken care of. I made eye contact with this girl several times while I was there and not once did she come by, of course not until it was time to pay!! Not only that but I watched a guy and his kids get up and leave after sitting there for 10 mins and not being greeted by anyone...... Avoid the white girl with dreadlocks!!

Finally, Sawgrass Mills Mall does have some flair of sushi. A kaiten sushi! I loved the sushi rolls, was not bad at all. Taste was surprisingly good. The area was so unique and very much like origami design. (Sushi+Origami=sushigami) Definitely, great grubs for sushi lovers. Best part Forever 21 is right at front! It just gets better after shopping at that store. Peace, Love and sushigami.

The conveyor concept is a great idea for a quick bite while shopping in Sawgrass Mall. I tried the spicy salmon taco and liked the fusion taste of Japanese and Latin American cuisine. I have eaten at many conveyor sushi restaurants, and sushigami is so far my favorite.

My husband and I, including our 16 years old daughter had decided to stop by Sushigami to get a quick dinner since we were doing a little shopping late (2 hours prior to mall closing), on Monday 5/19/14.... It looked good and everything and plus, my husband wanted to try out a new place that looked interesting. It taste fine, but there were a lot of imitation seafood, which is normally bi-product fish, from various fish that you wouldn't know - unless you read the actual ingredients. The very next morning I woke up to get ready to go to work and my eyes were swollen just like Will Smith, from the movie, "Hitch". I immediately took an allergy pill, because I didn't want to go to work looking like that!! It took awhile for the swelling to go down... But thank God it didn't get worst where I had to be rushed to the emergency room!! My husband and daughter were fine - thank God!!!!.. I would have to say if they were both affected as well, I would have to sue the establishment, for cross-contamination of food. The workers there did not clean the surface effectively when preparing the food. They had mix other fish (tuna, white fish, etc.) products with other fish (salmon) into the sushi. Very careless!!! I had sushi before, many times but at a well-known establishment and didn't have any affects on myself whatever so ever. My family and I will never come back to this establishment again and take any more risks!! Too dangerous...

Decent. Sushi goes around in a conveyor belt and is priced by the color of the plate. They continously make fresh sushi for the belt. If you don't find what you are looking for, you can order things from the menu. Most of the good items tend to be light pink/pink which is the most expensive plates ($5-6), which comes with 4 pieces. Really basic rolls like a simple salmon roll will come with 6 small pieces, i think this was a purple plate ($4). It sounds super cheap, but I usually end up spending around $40 for about 4-6 plates (most have 4 pieces per plate ) with 2 sodas & tax and leave kinda hungry still. Located in front of Forever 21 in Sawgrass Mall.

The sushi was delicious. We went here 10mins after they open which was 11:30am. There wasnt any sushi on the conveyor belt beside california roll. More sushi started rolling out soon after. The price is a bit high for only 4 pieces of sushi. Each plate contains 4 pieces of sushi. The plate is color coded for the price (light blue is $3, blue is $3.50, pink is $5, red is $6). The waiter was nice and attentive to our needs. I like the concept of the sushi on the conveyor belt but I don't know if I feel comfortable coming here toward the end of the day because I wouldn't know how fresh the sushi are. My rating is actually between 3 & 4 stars.

I'm a firm believer that towards the end of the night a food establishment should always give good quality food and service as much as possible. Having been at the other end of the spectrum getting closing work and side work done as soon as possible is also an important point at the end of the night as well. My daughter and I were looking to snag a bite to eat after a long day of work, school, and a "make up" shopping trip since we were to busy yesterday to get her shopping completed. If I would have known it was an hour before closing time we would of definitely just got across the mall and went home. But tired, thirsty, and starving we made a pit stop to Sushigami where previously we have had a great time. Service was a little slow in Sushigami's defense I think the server was new. My three year old and I had to use the restroom and the whole time after that the server was trying to pull the check like we weren't going to pay. Some of the items that were labeled spicy actually weren't. This place is awesome with a few things that you don't have to missed out on than if you were to go to an actual sit down sushi establishment green tea, saki, mochi, and even ramune. The plates range in price depending on the color and of course it's always fun due to the conveyer belt running throughout the seating area. Awesome location next to Avenue three and in front of Forever 21 and a bathroom close by which is a must at Sawgrass. I'm sure another trip at the sawgrass will land us at Sushigami just now we know NEVER go towards closing time.

For someplace that is in a very busy location inside the mall and where they don't automatically put in a tip, they are quite inattentive. The buttons seam not to work and the servers and management don't look people In the eyes. It's service 101, keep eye contact and continuously scan your area for peoples indications that they need something. It happens every time we come here. If it weren't for the quick access to the Californian rolls for our boys, I don't think we would stop here everyone we are inside sawgrass.

Loved the convenience and ease with which I could select what I wanted. The sushi and rice were fresh (not Morimoto, but far better than I had expected) and I thought the prices were fair. I'll definitely be back next time I am at Sawgrass. As an aside, I think they a technology similar to this (saw it in Japan a few years ago): youtube.com/watch?v=aNbT…

After shopping and enjoying a nice afternoon at Sawgrass Mall this sushi restaurant sits in the middle of the mall. It's unique setting and conveyor belt style deliver your sushi on little plates while you sit and enjoy lunch. They offer different types of specialties that you can have made to order. The wait staff is friendly my only complaint would be that they're not as attentive as a traditional sushi house but then again you're in the middle of the mall and it's all about convenience. Overall it was a great experience. It was our second time having lunch there- the sushi is good and taste fresh. It's got a nice ambience that allows you to people watch and enjoy the surroundings.

Sushigami is an okay place to have sushi, but it's definitely not a destination. And while it's neat that it's in the middle of the mall, it's also a bit concerning to me because raw rolls especially need proper handle and care. That being said, I tried two kinds of their cooked rolls (2 plates), and though I was told it was freshly made because it wasn't on the conveyor belt, they weren't even luke warm. The rolls were okay, but to me, it wasn't much better than what I could get at a fast food Japanese place / in the fridge at the supermarket. Service left a lot to be desired, since it took them a while to notice I wanted help/a drink. Then it took them a while to figure out that they promised me my check. (No offense, but this is self service--there are only 2 things you could have messed up on.) With tip, it ran me about $15. It's a little expensive for the quality you receive (because you have to tack on tip for a taste you could have easily gotten from the food court), but it's still in the line of a normal sushi roll. I guess you could try it for the experience, but honestly it's not that novel to have something rotating around you. The only advantage that I really find from dining here is the expediency (no waiting unless it's not on the belt... then a little waiting) and the ability to try more kinds of rolls due to the smaller portion sizes.

Went to Sawgrass mall last weekend for a quick shopping fix and saw this funky cool sushi place right in the middle of the mall. It's all stark white, modern booths and the place was pretty crowded so we had to try it. We've never eaten at a Sushi restaurant with the little conveyer belts going around and it was so cool! No waiting for a chef to make what you want, you can just grab and eat! The plates have different colored rims which indicate the prices so it's pretty much fool proof and it was really yummy! The plates ranged from about $3 for a basic 4 piece roll to $8 for a more gourmet one. It was really cool! The one thing I will say is that since you are sitting basically in the middle of the mall with shoppers walking by at all times, be prepared to be stared at. Don't get self-concious when you drop that roll off your chopsticks because 50 people just saw it! :) All joking aside, it was a cool experience. We went with our 8 month old son and it was great because you could get in and out quickly. We will definitely be back!

Food was fresh delicious and actually quite good for sushi at a mall. I'm not usually one to eat sushi just anywhere. I like the different selections of sushi and plates on the conveyor belt at the sushi bar. The menu is simple and also diverse. This is a great idea to have in a mall. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pricing was not too expensive either just right for sushi at a mall. Thumbs up. Keep up the good work sushigami!

While taking my aunt and uncle visiting from the Philippines out to Sawgrass mall to shop, we were looking for a place to have our "merienda" (Filipino for "snack-time"). In front of Forever 21 was this big area with sushi rolling through a conveyor belt. Ah, so this is what Sushigami is. Ranging from $3-6 are color-coded plates of sushi and appetizers. Since this was my very first converyor-belt dining experience, I was initially in awe of all the sushi going around. Although I've had better sushi, I was glad my family seemed to enjoy the experience as well. What makes this place unique from other sushi places I've been to (aside from the obvious sushi-in-motion concept) is that they offer taiyaki, which is a Japanese dessert that is in the shape of a fish. It's usually a cake filled with red bean, but this taiyaki I had had strawberry sauce and ice cream. I've always wanted to try taikyaki so it was a pleasant treat to end my dining experience at Sushigami. Overall, if you want a quick bite, I say it's a good spot (just know the better plates are in the upper end of the price range so it's easy to spend $12 on 2 plates of sushi of 3-4 pieces each, so you might as well look into the full menu if you want bigger dishes), and I recommend getting taiyaki if you crave a sweet treat. I've yet to try out the full menu, but I'd come again if I want a light lunch.

I had a terrible experience today at sushi gami. Health inspectors should check this place out ASAP but I will get to that in a moment. My visit started with me sitting at the bar I looked through the menu deciding what looked good and saw that yellow tail was on the menu. I ordered a Ramune and waited for it to roll by. I saw a few items that the menu said you had to ask the servers go by but not the menu Item I wanted. I told a waitress that I hadn't seen any yellow tail and she said that it was a made to order item. I started to say "but the me-" and was interrupted with "yeah our menu is stupid" I asked for an order of yellowtail and grabbed a California roll while I waited. When my yellowtail arrived I was super excited to have something fresh made just for me. I took my first bite and the rice was dry and the fish was warm and had a rotten taste to it I automatically gagged and spit the piece from my mouth into a napkin and called over the waitress "this is disgusting." I said "Just bring me my tab I want to leave" another waitress said to the other to get the manager. The manager Jonathan came over I told him the issue and he took the yellowtail off the bill and told me he would talk to the chef and he assured me "all of our fish is refrigerated" which I sort of doubt after my experience. He told me to come back and ask for him next time and he would take care of me. Two hours later and I am at home dry heaving. There will not be a next time for this place. I will not be risking my health further.

Surprisingly good, fresh tasting sushi. Friendly service and doesn't really get faster than having it cart around right in front of you. I have two complaints, one is, that even though the fish tasted good, the avocado was clearly already turning and brown. Also they don't put their whole menu on the turn table. They only had like 5 different sushis rotating around, and of course they are the more expensive ones. They are willing to make it for you, but it defeats the whole purpose of shopping and dining on the go. I'd like to see more options rotating around. Iv been meaning to try this stop for a while and glad that I did, will do this again next time I'm here

Think about it! This place is located in the middle of a mall. There is no running water and these employees have no access to water to wash their hands! I went to this restaurant the other day. It was just convenient since I was at the Sawgrass. First, the waitress asked me what I wanted to drink. I responded water. She brought me a bottled water which I had to pay for $2.50. I didn't mind paying... But, she should have asked if I still wanted. The gyoza was deep fried. In their menu, the gyoza looked like pan fried of even steamed, I asked the waitress "Are these deep fried?" Because if I knew they will serve me the deep fried gyoza, I didn't order it. She said "this is what we have!" and turned around. They do not want to hear your complain. They just put things on your table and turn around! The service is terrible! We also ordered udon. I don't understand how somebody even can make udon so terribly! I am Japanese... and this place makes us look bad. These are not authentic Japanese food. The waitress checked up on us once...asking how we are doing. I was kind of making my face trying to show her I was not happy. But, of course, she didn't care. She didn't want to talk to me. I will never go back to this place. The publix sushi is much much better than this place!

First time. It's actually pretty cool to try out. I just never really tried it before even though I'm at sawgrass all the time and also because I don't like sushi. This is literally situated right across forever21 in the middle of the mall. Mostly high chairs for seats and probably about 3 of 4 booth seats. You sit anywhere you'd like and get started. I really love the concept. You grab whatever you like from the conveyor belt that goes around. Food already made! No waiting on no one. There's just something mesmerizing I guess about food placed on different colored pastel plates on a moving conveyor belt. Looked like a mini sushi factory. Felt like I was in a real life Japanese food and time management game. The color of the plate signifies the price of the food. I personally thought the prices were pretty affordable and reasonable. Ranging from $3.00- 6ish. Their most popular one was the crab salad sushi. I had it and it was delicious. You can't miss it. It's like a mountain of shredded crab "meat" and stuff lol on top of sushi. Overall it was cool. definitely encourage it.

4.5 stars!! I really, really like this place a lot. This is my go to place when I want a quick Sushi fix. What more can you ask for fresh Sushi going around on a coveryor belt and the plate are priced according to the color of the plate. You really have to take your time and order wisely because what seem like a cheap value can add up to be a pretty pricy meal, or you spending more than you expected real fast. I have been here three times and I usually stay under $20 and leave pretty satisfied. Not only do they have the rolls going around on the belt, but they have a full menu of soups, other rolls, desserts and small entrees. If you want good sushi, fast and willing to brave the chaos at Sawgrass give this spot a try. It is located in the center of the Mall across from Forever 21. So if you go in near Bed Bath and Beyond I think it is you will be close to spot.

Great concept for a mall, because it's so easy if you're in a hurry or just want a snack rather than a full lunch (but a snack that's healthier than a pretzel or slice of pizza). My first instinct was that the small plates were overpriced, but a plate of sushi here has 4 pieces for $3 - $5.50. A full roll at a restaurant would be double that portion, and if you doubled the price $6 or 7$ would be pretty standard for a basic roll. So, not a bad deal. The rolls piled with crab meat and fish looked like a generous portion. I tried the veggie roll and a California roll, both were average. You can also get edamame, soups, salads and gyoza made to order. My only concern with this place is how long the sushi is sitting out, and if the staff has any way of keeping track of this. I couldn't find any time stamps or other indicators on the plates. I reassured myself that the turnaround time in a busy mall must be pretty fast, but I hope they have some type of system in place. Even though the food didn't blow me away, I thought it was a great option as far as mall fare goes. I'd love to see this concept expand.

The sushi goes round and round... Round and round all through the town(sushi train tracks?) This is a quick and fast way to get sushi at sawgrass mills mall. Compared to the food court sushi, this place is amazing. The food court sushi looks blue/purple (yikes) The first time I saw the sushi going along a train track concept in VA was a few years ago in Tyson's mall. It's a good concept only if it's a super busy restaurant. Sawgrass is a very busy mall with people fighting over parking spots so of-course this place is able to continuously make fresh sushi every few minutes and you don't get luke warm sushi which is going around the train tracks the whole day. I have tried many of their sushi rolls. I like them, I only wish the tuna's quality was better. Maybe it was the wrong season or something but it didn't taste as good as the other selections. Look at the menu so you know which rolls are coming down the track. The plates are color coordinated which correlates to the price from 3.50 to 7 dollars a plate. Most of the good rolls are in the 5-7 dollar range. It's a decent price for sawgrass mills food option range. However, 4 pieces in each plate will make you want to get multiple plates and you will feel more hungry then looking at a 8-10 piece roll plate in regular sushi restaurants. By the time my friend and I left, our plates were stacked high and we still went for dessert after. Yikes, we really could eat the traveling train sushi.

Love it...it's great for short attention spans, instant gratification, small tastes of different types of sushi, and of course, people watching. The plates are color coded, for $3-7 per plate, 4 pieces of sushi per plate. I did start getting a complex though, when the plates started to stack up and people started staring. The high volume of people on a weekend at Sushigami is key...I wouldn't want to get conveyor belt sushi otherwise. You can also order from a menu, but what's the fun with that when there are dishes moving past you constantly?

Cute little sushi spot inside Sawgrass Mills Mall. It's right by Forever 21 & It's Sugar. I love that the sushi is prepared and you can pick from a conveyor belt that moves it along past your table. They don't put out most of the rolls or sushi plates, so you have to look through the menu and request the dishes. The sushi is really good and fresh considering it being mall food. However, it's pricey! Prices vary and are indicated by the different colored plates that the sushi is served on. It can add up but still a fun experience. Be sure to try the tuna tataki, masago & you can't leave without getting the Mochi!! The mango and red beam are a must.
