This restaurant is amazing. There are so many positives, I am not sure where to start! The food is amazing! The restaurant is very, very clean. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. The owner came to our table, introduced himself and asked how we were enjoying things and if there was anything he could do for us. The ambiance was great- nice decor, comfortable booths, bollywood hits playing in the background on a TV, but on a nice volume level. The buffet was very clean, well stocked, and everything on it was very fresh. We had both, fresh nann and doses brought to our table. The price was great too. 10 on the weekend, and 8 I think during the weekdays. The shopping center it is in is a little run down, but don't let that put you off. This is some of the best Indian I have had ( and I have had it in several countries).

Everything was excellent! We had the Channa Bhatura, Kadai Paneer, and Paneer Tikka Masala. We will definitely return for the weekend buffet.

wow that all we can say. unexpected delicious food. had the GOBI 65....dreaming of it all day and will go back in a few days to get some more! I don't care for buffets so I will probably only go in the evening when they do menu service. service was attentive and it show the owner really cares!

Good Indian Vegetarian find. Good Indo-Chinese and South Indian options. I guess will be here often to avoid Woodlands crowd.

Very flavorful vegetarian food. I had the Chettinad which was delicious. The naan was very good as well.

Real Indian home food combined with professional and courteous service. Vasan ( the manager) provides professional, and friendly service , which is backed up with the delicious vegetarian food and a truly good chef . Closer than this you can not get to India ! Can't wait to try their Sunday buffet.

Place is awesome, the menu doesn't describe the food but the waiter helped us find what we were looking for.

    Good indo-chinese food

Seriously the tastiest Indian place in broward county, quality like woodland but more of a indo-chinese selection. I love this place! If you love Indian food definitely worth to check out. The people who run the place are extremely hospitable and nice also.

This is a buffet style restaurant. We have been here several times already and it never disappoints me. The service has always been good. The price is extremely reasonable for the quality and variety of the food. They always bring bread with the food, naan and dosa. My favorite plate is the paneer in red sauce but everything is good. This is a very modest place, nothing fancy. Sometimes they have special buffets with a lot of variety. We went on father's day and we tried many different dishes. Even if you are not a vegetarian you will leave this place with a full happy stomach.

Hung jury, so I'm calling for a retrial. Not the most salubrious of locations, at least not late at night, but we'll definitely give Krishna another go - especially as I had ordered a take-out on the recommendation of work colleagues, whose opinion I trust emphatically. My order was ready on time (about 20 minutes), and it was hot and tasty - I just didn't love it (too much sauce, not enough veggies). I'll get a recommendation on the menu from my work colleagues next time. And, now I know where it is (opposite Chuck E. Cheese's, heading east on W. Oakland Park Blvd), I won't miss the exit (twice!).

Solid heat. In my belly. Full I am with much happy. Chilli pakora is not for the feeble or those on meds. If Mongo needed a place to sweat, he would go here. The location is on a sleepy strip mall but does a good job. Price is reasonable for portions but having a full dinner for $20 is better than you can say for a lot of other 'chain' places.

This is best place in authenticity for Indian food. I ordered dry manchurian and paneer dosa. Both were delicious. I can't wait to go back there. The owner was nice he gave me many spoon and fork to go with it. This is a 5 star in all respect.

Krishna's offers a phenomenal dining experience. A well kept place with exceptional service, I would highly recommend trying the vegitable Chettinad. This unique tomato-based curry is loaded with spice and causes a flavor-filled explosion upon consumption. The dosas are an obvious must-have, as well. Both the mysore masala dosa and rava dosa are stellar options (a serving of potatos sheltered in flour based wrapping). Also, the gobi (cauliflower) take your taste buds for a delicous ride. If the meal leaves you feeling drowsy, be sure to try the Madras Coffee. This is a delightful caffeinated beverage and makes for a great note to end a savory meal on. Can't wait for my next visit.

No longer doing weekday lunch buffet. Food is good, would like more spice. Wait staff is friendly and do a great job. Would be 4 star if they kept the buffet.

This place was great! It's hard to find a good Indian place but this is one of the best I have been to. Nice big place and friendly staff. The naan was amazing! Hot and fresh. The curries we got were all so different - we tried a spinach one, an eggplant one, a vegetable one, etc. Each one was unique and tasty. They served them with both white and yellow rices and offered lots of different sauces to use with them. The kitchen was blaring club music which we could hear, but at least it sounded like they were having fun ;)

I would have given this place a five, but the service was slow and not as attentive as I would have wanted. they were still friendly and it wasn't so bad, but I wish I would have been checked on more often (I actually needed things from them). It was a Tuesday night and there were maybe five tables, so there really is no excuse. Also, the naan took forever to come out and it is traditionally meant to be eaten with the main dish. I had to wait Other than this, this place is a MUST GO. Some of the BEST Indian food around. In fact, I drove 30 minutes out of my way to try this place and YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED with the food. They have an absurdly large menu of all vegetarian Indian food. The variety is excellent, and the food was just fantastic. If you're a vegetarian,'or just want a good hearty meatless meal, come and check this place out. You will love it, and will likely have leftovers. But be aware that you may have to get up and ask for things if they don't have enough people on staff.

Krishna is a powerful god who apparently manages to evade Yelp's mysterious review filter. I therefore visit this restaurant with some trepidation, not quite trusting the many glowing reviews it has garnered. But I figure, I haven't really had bad experience with vegetarian Indian... in fact, I think I have an unfounded belief that people who run vegetarian restaurant are just nicer and better folks... While this restaurant is relatively new, the furnishing and furniture are definitely old souls who have witnessed many reincarnations. The plaza it is situated in is rather derelict, and the restaurant itself looks worn and tired. I went in for lunch at around 1:30. There is a pretty good selection of dishes: some chutneys, salad, soup, fritters, several entrees like cabbage mutter poriyal, paneer tika masala, gobi chili and saag, starch like idli, white rice and biryani, and several desserts: carrot kheer, rice pudding and a cranberry puppy (hush puppy with cranberry?! - I would much prefer gulab jamun.) The dishes are delicious, full of flavor and spices. The saag looks greener than what I usually see, but I also detect more spinach flavor, so I suppose they just cook it not as long, and I can't say that I prefer brownish vegetables to this. They bring to your table freshly made dosa and naan as well. Service is not bad, owner and waiter came by a few times to see how I was doing, and empty plates are whisked away fast. My only complain is that when I went in there were several dishes that were out, including the sambar, which never got refilled. Hence the bump from 4 stars to 3.

Our favorite Indian restaurant, love the variety of dishes, we use to go to Woodlands quite often but ever since someone recommended Krishna Vegetarian Indian Cuisine to us, it has become our favorite, a bit spicier, just the way we like it, and the waiter that served us Kumar was very attentive.

They had this sweet and sour vegetables dish that sort of turned my vegetarian life upside down. I had to make sure there was no meat in the food. Everything was so good. Cozy restaurant and hidden gem in sunrise.

Best Indian food in South Florida, hands down. All vegetarian South Indian food like Woodlands or Udipi but better with more variety. The Saturday buffet is amazing.

Try the signature Channa Bhatura! I had the Kadai Paneer and tried the Paneer Tikka Masala which pairs great with the Garlic Naan! Absolutely delicious and the owner was very informative and helpful as to what dish I would like best! Thank you for a wonderful experience, will definitely visit again!

First time here and all I can say is WOW!!! What a find...vegetarian Indian food, and it's GOOD! Had the lunch buffet, really great selection. Don't be fooled by the run down strip mall it's in, or the no frills interior...the food is incredible. Ant wait to bring the family back for dinner!

Soo good! This was the best Indian food I've had in a long time. I had the aloo sag and the baigin bartha and both were very good. I was thoroughly impressed with everything at this restaurant - we will be going back often.

This evening my wife and I ordered a takeout dinner from Krishna indian restaurant. I did not give a tip to the cook as I thought i was just picking up food. I regretted it so much and I kept on telling my wife about my mistake. I will make sure to stop by again to correct my error. We ordered idly and Rava Dosa- the South Indian veggie food. I must say there is no other restaurant in town that can prepare this food this well. There are three types of chutneys and I must sincerely congratulate the cook for making them so perfectly. As a matter of fact, I haven't eaten such chutneys in the US, in my past 15 years of dining experience in the US. There is an authentic South Indian restaurant in India called "chutneys " and that is the only place I know these kind of chutneys are prepared. So, if you are a South Indian foodie , you will know what I'm talking. The food quality is also measured by the chutney- the dipping sause.. For sure the food in this place is out of this world.

Very good vegetarian restaurant, I almost come here every weekend. The price is fair for the quality of the food, will definitely recommend it to everyone. I think this is the only total vegetarian Indian restaurant in the area.

Went for the sunday lunch buffet..have to say the variety n choice is good BUT quality is not as impressive. Service was SLOW....they took forever to re-fill items in the buffet. Not impressed with the taste either....Woodlands their biggest competitor is way better in terms of taste, service overall quality.

Came here on Sunday for Father's Day Lunch and it was absolutely chaos. They have a decent spread for the lunch buffet and it is also decent priced at $11/person. Food- The food is good. I can only comment on the buffet items - the gobi manchurian and the panner makhani were extremely delightful however, I can not recommend the malai kofta (too sour and not to my liking). I just wish they could've had maybe some appetizer items in the mix. Their gulab jamun was fantastic. Another positive thing about the buffet is that they'll bring fresh naan to your table. Service- Nonexistent. I almost feel like they didn't expect to have such a packed house on Father's Day so they very few waiters/bussers/whatever their title maybe, were rare to find it. It took way too long for them to refill any item that was running low in the buffet. Getting water or even some napkins required me to ask 3 different employees, something I find completely unacceptable. The whole idea of fresh naan at the table is genius and will bring in lots of customers. but that's if you can get naan in a timely manner. I was already done with the a serving of the entree by the time the naan came out. From my understanding, this restaurant has only been open about a month? Not quite sure. That being said, I can only hope they see the flaws in their idea of the buffet and make changes accordingly. The owners are very nice people and they have a great thing going here but they NEED to make changes to the way they operate their buffet. I hear the dining experience for dinner is a lot better. I will definitely give this place another chance in the future. The food is definitely good and very cheaply priced compared to other Indian restaurants. The way I see it - if they get more help then this can definitely be a successful and pleasant experience for both the ownership and it's customers.
