Great, right across from Amtrak. Owner is friendly and accommodating, I asked for basil duck even though it wasn't on the menu and he made it. Soups and appetizers are wonderful Highly recommend!

I have been back several times, and each time have ordered something different (couple different curries, pad thai, and thai lomein). Everything has been good and the portions are fair. I have amped up the spice each time I have come, and have now been upgraded in the eyes of the staff: I no longer need "White Boy Hot", I now can handle "Thai Hot" level. I am using quotation marks because it's an actual quote from the server.

How can the previous Yelp ratings be so far off? I dropped in for the lunch special at 1130. There was one other customer seated and another standing at the bar talking to the staff. The restaurant was quiet as a funeral parlor. I was not greeted and it was several minutes before I was offered a menu and beverage. The lunch special was spicy bamboo with pork and a salad. The pork was very over cooked to the point it was tough to chew. The dish as a whole was average but nothing that would entice me to return or recommend it to others.

I ate here for lunch a couple of weeks ago at the suggestion of someone and it did not disappoint. Plenty of authentic choices, extremely friendly service, & very very delicious. I will definetely be back again soon!

I hate to leave this kind of review, but I was really disappointed with my experience. I'm shocked that I had such a bad experience. The reviews for this place made me expect something a lot better. The Location: Parking is pretty tough in this area. It's located behind the Winnie Palmer hospital, and it doesn't have a parking lot. We ended up parking on the street in front of the building. It's free to park there after 6pm, so that wasn't a problem. The restaurant seems like it's mostly a take-out spot. The interior was very sparsely decorated and not very nice. However, it was something that I could overlook. However, there's no ambiance. The Service: A woman greeted us and acted as our server. She seemed very nice, and didn't hover. The interior is rather small, so this was a feat. She brought us waters in miss-matched cups that look like something you would find at a garage sale. The menu was a bit small, and they didn't have a ton of options. The entree's came with rice. I ordered a massaman curry, and my husband ordered the sweet and sour chicken (not really Thai food, but it was on their menu...). Things started to go downhill pretty quickly once she brought the rice out. We each got a large serving of white rice that had been pressed with a mold into a heart shape. That was pretty cute, but tangled into my husbands rice was a long black hair. It was really obvious and the woman didn't even notice. This wasn't a great start to the meal. Both of our entrees were very small. I love spicy food, so I ordered my massaman curry "thai hot." It was barely spicy. They seemed to notice my disappointment and brought out a tray of curry paste and red pepper flakes. I got to add my own spices, so I guess that was nice. However, the massaman curry just wasn't good. It tasted like they cooked the chicken and the vegetables separately from the curry. My husbands sweet and sour chicken was also not good, and had a weird sauce on it (thin and definitely not sweet and sour). The portions were also very tiny for the price. The bill ended up being just under $30 for two tiny entrees and no drinks. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant and I would not return. If you do come, I think you should definitely not go for dinner, and only do "to-go."

Located at Sligh Blvd, behind ORMC, directly across from the Amtrak Station. I've had this place on my list to try forever, but I'm not often in this part of downtown Orlando around lunch time. (They close at 3pm) Service was prompt and friendly; I was able to get in and out quickly for my dine in lunch. They had a brisk takeout business and also some sit down business on my Thursday lunch visit. Everything from curries and whole fish, to duck being ordered. Lots of visits from the surrounding hospital workers. I went basic, Pad Thai, medium and veggie spring rolls. Nice portions for the price, good spice on the Pad Thai at medium. Nice protein & sauce to noodle ratio. I'll be back to check out their curries and other offerings the next time I'm in the area.
