If you want a mediocre slice of pizza for $5 dollars this is the place to go. Beware of ordering just a single slice with one topping as this can run you up to $5 dollars per slice. Was annoyed at the cash register when I paid but thought - maybe it's going to be great pizza - Nope. Wouldn't come back. Also $3 dollar limit for debit/credit cards.

Great pizza - bad location. Order delivery and you will be happy! Crispy crust, great flavor on the sauce, good prices!

The service in this place is terrible!!! They got our order wrong after waiting for 45 mins and then we had to wait for 15 other people to get their orders before they even bother to make ours! 1 hour and 20 mins later nd still NO DAMN PIZZA!

We ordered baked ziti and pizza for our party. Food was delivered on time, hot and delicious. Price was reasonable. Their pizza is the best in the area. Highly recommend.

We had a large pepperoni pizza and didn't finish it between four healthy eaters -- it's a good size! Delicious, though, and the crust was good. The staff was friendly and the tables were clean. It's also pretty cheap, I'll definitely be going back!

Reminds me of the old-school pizzerias I grew up eating in, when I was a child in NYC. Have yet to come across a pizza restaurant anywhere, that is as original and worthy of traditional Italian-Americana style and decor, as is Pisa Italian Pizza. In a society today full of frivolous franchises, serving the same reprocessed and chemically engineered food hash renamed in ever so creative forms, bundled with a cheap smile and an even more nauseating price tag; one really wonders how the owners of Pisa Italian Pizza have endured so long without ever compromising their food quality and reputation. It is a stand alone mom & pop shop, & a woman that looks to be someone's mother works alongside the owners, a kind and very hard-working couple. Needless to say, it definitely shows in the character and flavor of their food. I have eaten in much higher priced locales and ritzier places throughout Central Florida, that wouldn't even come close to the quality of food this couple puts out in their modest pizza restaurant. The pizza and its ingredients are, how should I put it, untouchable.....The crust and dough used are obviously hand made, hand tossed, and hand baked in their ovens. Prices are excellent as is their lunch special, which includes two slices and a refillable soft drink for less than $6. They offer pizzas in all sizes, daily specials throughout the week, hand-made lasagna (not store bought & heated), pasta, ziti, salads, calzones, and sandwiches. There is ample seating, even a back corridor with additional seating for when large groups dine in. The news run on a tv in the corner, and there's even a vintage arcade towards the side of the dining room. I hereby proclaim Pisa Italian Pizza as an American institution, having withstood the test of time for over 20 years of continuous business, in the ever-changing city of Orlando, FL. Their restaurant should serve as a true reminder and demonstrative model for young people out there, in how and why a business should be opened and operated; in exemplifying a seemingly long forgotten universal creed, of uncompromisingly delivering an exceptional product & service at an affordable price will not only garner a sustainable business but the unconditional respect of the community it serves. I respect Pisa Italian Pizzeria and tip my hat to its family of owner-operators. You represent what this country used to be, and unfortunately no longer is, due to incessant greed, centralization, corporatizing and corruption which have made it ever more difficult for small family-owned businesses to survive and get by.

Pizza might be OK here, dunno: the "service" was, uh, bizarre? Walked in, two people sitting on opposite sides of the restaurant, not facing each other, one texting, one watching TV. Probably the owner operators? Neither acknowledged us when we came in. After standing near the door awkwardly for a bit, the dude did look over, made eye contact and grunted before going back to the telly. We smiled and slowely backed out the door. Very weird.

I had the Calzone special and it was really good! The dough was nice and thin and cooked golden brown! The sauce was great tasting. I would recommend eating here to everyone!

I don't get the hype. I tried the lasagna and the spaghetti with meatballs on 2 different trips. The food is bland. The spaghetti sauce taste like it came out of a can and the meatballs had very little flavor. They nickle and dime you which I can't stand. Why can't they just raise the prices by 50 cents so they don't have to look greedy and cheap by doing this? A co-worker from New York said they love this place because it reminds them of food they use to eat in New York. No wonder they live here now.

Great little store-front pizza place. Hand tossed dough, really close to NY style with great toppings. No flash, owner operated and pac man while you wait for your slice or za. Enjoys!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
