It's a Perkins, not a place I would come for lunch or dinner, and if I did I would most likely order breakfast, came here for breakfast it was right by our hotel, I'm from NYC and we have the best diners, I know that no place is like home and the food wouldn't be the same. I ordered the French toast with eggs & bacon, everything was good, the coffee was okay, if and when I go back to Florida I would come again for breakfast.

Very clean. Food good. Coffee was fabulous! Service was exceptional. The omelettes are perfect her never burned or overlooked. Prices are also reasonable.

Though it was very busy on a Sunday morning at the peak of tourist season in Orlando, Ms. Bobby (our gracious server) ensured the service was excellent and timely! To match the service, the food itself was an excellent representation of home-cooked breakfast; the portions were very generous, very flavorful, and carried that 'homey' feel an IHOP or Denny's couldn't hope to imitate. Though busy, the atmosphere was relaxed and smelled of freshly baked pie (sorry, if that's not your thing). In addition to the freshly-brewed coffee, refills were made promptly, and our food didn't follow not too long after being seated . It wouldn't be a complete visit to Perkins without getting something from the bakery, and that we did. We were informed of the buy '3 get 3 free' muffin deal (the cheaper deal), and got a variety of muffins along with a slice of lemon meringue pie as recommended by my fellow yelpers lol so I can't wait to get home and try these delicious morsels! Bottom Line: Get there earlier to ensure less waiting, but even if you do wait, it's definitely worth it. Everything on their menu is worth a try and I'm positive you won't be disappointed by the food or the staff. I'll reiterate what other yelpers have said before: try the lemon meringue pie! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sat for 15 minutes with no service at all. And there was an ant crawling on my menu. Not coming back here

Our experience was great! Our server, Dawn was knowlegable, and funny. She was also thoughtful. We had our pies to go (couldn't handle after our turkey dinner and BLT), and she bright back a to go cup for our drinks. The place was clean and pleasant.

When it's after 10 PM... and your food options seems limited to the likes of Denny's and IHOP and Steak-N-Shake, etc... Perkins offers a step-above those limited menus. Perkins has some great home-style cooking dishes, and a wide variety of food options... and they are open 24-hours-a-day at our South Orlando location. Also: their bakery goods are amazing: the best lemon meringue pie I've ever had, and their fruit pies (apple, wild berry, etc.) are also delicious.

Although I was ill-advised to come here for dinner, I decided to ignore those fair warnings and try it anyway. I was in town for work and had become accustomed to dining alone. Luckily for me, Perkins wasn't having a busy dinner rush, so I could save my "table for one" bashfulness for another time. I had the chicken pot pie with a salad for dinner. Check out my photo! It was delicious and well prepared. Crispy edges with a steamy, creamy interior. Yum-o! The salad was crunchy and fresh but the dressing was a bit on the slimy side (maybe needed a little stirring). I was going to get a "fresh" pastry to bring back with me to the hotel, but flies found there way in somehow. Plus, there was a limited variety and at 6p I highly doubt its freshness. The pot pie was good, the service was A-OK and it was a short walk from my hotel. Convenience and a good meal choice = satisfied experience.

Perkins means breakfast so I'll take it easy. The wait time at this particular Perkins on any given Sunday is 25-35 minutes. The place is jammed up and everyone seems to be in a rush. The wait staff are all running back and forth and that's were customer service crash and burn. On my recent visit, I waited close to 10 minutes for anyone to take the drink orders. That was after waiting 30 minutes to be seated. Once my coffee showed up, no utensils or anything to stir my coffee with. I had to use a straw to get my morning urge going. The lady was very friendly but too busy attending a whole section on her own on such a busy morning. Once the order for the meal was taken, things smoothed out. The food arrived quickly and all was said and done. My Granny's Country Omelette with buttery wheat toast was like always, delicious. Fresh, huge, and satisfying. It was worth the wait but I will think before doing it again at this location. Too busy in the morning.

My oh My where do I start? My first time visitng Florida. It was late my flight got in around 11pm. This place was still open around midnight. Went in and the place was completely dead. We were the only customer inside so of course we were seated right away. I am usually not a picky person when I'm hungry late at night. Not sure if I was tired but right when I look at the utensil I wanted to walk out of the restaurant. I try to not pick at the disgusting utensil. Order my food and 4 out of 5 items my friends and I order. The appetizer was the only thing pleasing to eat. The burger was horrible, the steak was worst than frozen entree, the country steak was overcooked. All the side trimming that came with our serving was like cafeteria food. NEVER AGAINNNNNNN!!! )=/

When the parking lot is mostly empty there's a reason. What a dump. They sat us at table that had not been cleaned yet. The staff and server were very friendly. My salad was wilted. My chicken sandwich was lousy. It's too bad, the Perkins we ate at outside of Lake wales fl. was very nice.

Quick and very friendly service. If you're looking for a good bite to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner then this is the place nothing fancy here just a good family environment with decent food.
