We did not know what to expect going into this pizzeria. I will tell you this, ORDER the breadsticks!! They were unreal!! Loaded with Parmesan cheese with oil, yum! And a nice red dipping sauce. The decor is casual and you can seat yourself until a server takes your order. Oh ya, try the pizza too; its good. Would love to a place like this in my neighborhood.

Visiting here from The Charlotte, NC area. This pizza is so good, but the breadsticks are the bomb!!! The best garlicky, buttery, with Parmesan cheese, that we have ever had on breadsticks! My sons make sure they get their fair share of those yummy things. This is the third time visiting for a late night dinner this week. They are open until midnight, even during the week. This makes Flippers a deliciously affordable place to eat after leaving the amusement parks. Ambience is casual. So come here and be comfy. There is some outdoor seating, and a large inside dining area. Large groups and small can be accommodated. Salads and wings are available, too. They are good, but not as good as the pizza. Highly recommend to come here weather visiting or living in the area. Also offer takeout and some delivery services and some locations.

This was some really awesome pizza and wings! I've been meaning to write a review for this place and took forever. We placed an order for this pizza joint after taking a break from Magic Kingdom(it rained on us). Our pizza and wings was ready within the time they gave us and it stayed hot until we reached our resort! The pizza (cheese melted just right) and wings were delicious! I am surely going to grab a pie from the Flippers franchise next time we are in Orlando!

We read the reviews saying this was the best in the area, we were very disappointed. Flavor was lacking, did they even use herbs in the pizza sauce? And while pizza is naturally greasy, to be swimming in grease is to extreme. The crust was soggy. The breadsticks, while a great texture also lacked in flavor. We ordered a cheese, a California classic with feta added, and a traditional campania, along with two orders of breadsticks, the total was $75 and that's without a tip for the delivery. I'm willing to pay good money for a good food, but I hate spending more for something that could be beat by a cheaper option. One positive, delivery was prompt and it arrived very hot.

Delicious pizza delivered right on time! If you plan to get a "personal sized" pizza...be warned...they are big enough for two

Food was excellent and manager gave us discount because the delivery was a little Late. Highly recommend

Antipasto was great, THE BEST breadsticks I've ever had and honestly the best pizza I have ever tasted the dough is amazing and the sauce is perfect. I got half margarita and half cheese. TO DIE FOR.

We ordered take out from here twice. The service was great and the pizza and salad was good. Being from NJ I wasn't expecting much but I would totally recommend this place.

Came across this place in a shopping center right near our hotel. Went in and were quickly greeted by staff. We were led to counter where we could place a to go order. Before we ordered we were advised that all food is made fresh and to order and would take about 25 minutes. We acknowledged and ordered. We had the campania and margarita my pies. We are completely bias being from ny and enjoying pizza there... but this pizza was very good. Price was not out of thos world. Staff was so friendly overall. We were waiting for the order and a waitress had us sit at a table to wait and even though we were not dining in they checked on us to see if there was anything we needed.

Delicious pizza. We ordered carry out and had a meat pizza, bread sticks, and a salad. 30 bucks for all of it. After paying 75 for two cheeseburgers and 8 dried up chicken nuggets at the magic kingdom this was a very welcomed site. When Picking the food up the place was clean, service quick and friendly, and they offered plates and plastic ware since I was going back to the hotel. Will remember this place in the future if we come back.

Best pizza ever! I go to school in California and every holiday when I come home- I HAVE to order flippers pizza! My favorite is the "Bianca" with Alfredo sauce has a base or the "four cheese" pizza. The brick oven gives the crust a rustic and wood-fired taste that is unparalleled by other pizza places! When in Orlando- eat Flippers pizza!

I remember when Flippers was just a local little spot near Sea World- the closest place that delivered pizza to my apartment. One store. That was it. Now they have 13 locations in the Orlando region plus two in the Tampa area. Flippers Lake Buena Vista It's been too many years to count since I last stepped into a Flippers (there are none considerably close to my current address), however, my parents insist this is the best pizza in all of Orlando. This says a lot because they are from New York City where good pizza is found on every corner. The one complaint I have living in Florida is the lack of decent pizza so when a New Yorker says Flippers is good, well, I guess I have to give it another chance. First of all, the Flippers I knew was just a counter with a few tables, more of a carry-out or delivery type place. We walked into the Lake Buena Vista Flippers and I realized I have just stepped into a full service restaurant. Though not fancy, a little more high end than the days of old. The menu consists of appetizers, flatbreads, salads, pastas and specialty pizzas- something for everyone. The pizzas even come in 4 sizes, the "my pie" which is 10", followed by a 12", 14" and the largest is 18". There were four of us in my party and we all ordered our own "my pie" pizzas- which was perfect since we all liked different things on the menu. First up was the Quattro Formaggio- a cheese pie with mozzarella, provolone, romano and asiago cheeses. The most simple of all our pies and it was very good. This pie was simple but not plain and flimsy like cheese pies of other places in Orlando. The crust held up to all the cheese and it wasn't greasy. Our second pizza was the arugula and prosciutto pizza, only minus the prosciutto. Again, yummy without the grease. And delicious. Third, the veggie pie with Flippers' Fiery Chipotle sauce and no cheese. Spicy and quite tasty. Our last pizza was the Sonoma without the cheese. The pie was piled with artichoke hearts, broccoli, spinach, sundried tomato pesto, fresh oregano and sea salt. When a pizza is topped with a bunch of veggies, you really don't miss the cheese. Overall, Flippers was great and totally accommodating with our dietary needs. We loved it and left full and happy. I was impressed. I won't let so many years pass by before visiting again. I would say for a pizza place, Flippers is pretty top notch.

This place was DELICIOUS! We came around 2pm on a sunday and it was just us and another couple eating, so it was a nice and quiet lunch. The pizzas are made to order so it takes them about 15 minutes to make, but we'll worth it. We ordered the meatballs for our appetizer and they were juicy and flavorful. We ordered a medium pizza and a Alfredo penne pasta to share. The penne pasta is creamy and savory and the pizza had a very healthy amount of toppings! Our waitress Brianna was excellent! She's very well attentive and charismatic. She genuinely provides remarkable customer service. We will definitely be back! If you're in the area, be sure to come here! And ask for Brianna!!!

I don't get what the hype is all about. It was pricey for pizza, the slices were small (a large did not feed my family of 3 and we even got some wings) and it tasted OK at best.

Love the calzone (add pepperoni!) and it tastes similar to the Pepperoni Roll at NYPD Pizza down the street. This was an absolutely perfect hangover food. My boyfriend loved their veggie pizza as well. My only beef with them is that we received a pizza menu from them in the mail about a month ago since they are about a mile down the road and their online ordering system still says they don't deliver, so I have to call--but that's okay, I prefer to call sometimes anyway.

Walking distance from the Hyatt Grand Cypress hotel. Right outside the road to downtown Disney. Really good thin crust pizza in this strip mall location. Just to the left of Moes. Also had a few craft beers to choose from. Waitstaff was very nice too. So tired of hotel food and we didn't have a car. Crossing the highway was well lit and had signals. Pizza was very good and fresh. We had a sausage and green peppers. There are a number of Flippers pizzas in the area but this one was not listed on Yelp so I added it. They deliver too. We walked past a Pizza Hut and a pizza uno to get there

This is probably the worst pizza I've ever had. We picked this place based on the Yelp reviews and it's close proximity. We order a large cheese pizza, a large half cheese and half Hawaiian pizza, a caprese salad, breadsticks, and a chicken pesto sandwich. It was around $50. We ordered at 7:20.... Our food finally arrived at 9:40. It's a little under FOUR MILES away. After waiting almost two hours the driver calls us to tell us that his phone is about to die and that he's still another thirty minutes away... Ok, really? And then when asked he said our food would probably be cold. I will give this place props for the customer service after I called to speak to a manager. The manager was very professional and compt our entire order because: 1- it had been over two hours 2- the driver told us it would be cold 3- we have to walk to the front of our complex to get all food deliveries so when he could no longer call us because his phone was about to die we had to wait at the front in the cold for the "estimated time he'd be there". My roommate and I walked to the front of our complex and as we got to the security house my other roommate who had given her number to the driver called to tell me the driver said he would be ANOTHER 20 minutes. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. When we finally got our food: The caprese salad was all over the place and soggy from the tomatoes sitting so long. The chicken pesto sandwich was completely falling apart and had tomatoes when specifically asked to have none. And the pizza and breadsticks were not only cold but the cheese had congealed. Absolutely disgusting. We understand its Valentine's Day and traffic is ridiculous but don't take a huge order around Orlando and not drop off the closest place first. We will NEVER order from here ever again.

So as a traveler, I often see places that tout 'best' or 'greatest'. When I saw 'serving the perfect pizza, I was certain it is not a perfect pizza. I am happy to say I was very wrong!! Great find here so close to Disney! Greek salad was also perfect!

Enjoyed the pizza. Staff was approachable. Good option if not looking for a large chain option.

Service was awesome! Breadsticks are a must to order! Great atmosphere! Wish we had one of theses in California!

Decent pizza with mediocre sides. I was really hungry, so I ate every bit of what we ordered, but the pizza was definitely not the best I've had.

  • Stephanie S.

Coming from NYC, I was skeptical, but Flippers exceeded expectations. The phone & delivery service was friendly, helpful, and prompt. The traditional pizza had a thicker crust than what I prefer (my guess is that the thin-crust Neapolitan style would be more to my liking), but the crust was chewy & flavorful, the sauce had zip, and the toppings were generous (we had mushroom & meatball). The house salad would have benefitted from some mixed greens, instead of romaine, but the house-made vinaigrette was delicious. If you're staying near Nickelodeon or WorldQuest (which is where we were), this location will deliver. I strongly recommend them.

We felt like staying in for lunch so, after calling the front desk, Flippers came with an outstanding review from the staff. With the claim of authentic Italian style pizza and quick service (the restaurant is 8 minutes away) we ordered an extra large (16inch) pepperoni pizza. The gentlemen that answered the phone was very pleasant and stated we would enjoy "the best pizza ever". After paying via credit card, he stated we would receive the pizza in no more than 45 minutes because we were so close. We hung up at 4:29 pm. At 5:43 PM, the driver called and asked me to meet him downstairs to get the pizza, to which I obliged. The driver was short on pleasantries but passable. After bringing the pizza back to the room, we opened up the box expecting to find a piping hot pizza... We did not. It was warm at most. HOWEVER........ Though the pizza was warm, it was an incredibly tasty authentic Italian pizza. I wish it had arrived on time and possibly hot would be nice too.

Everyone told me pizza near Disney was bad, I saw the good reviews for Flipper's and we got take out one night. The pizza was pretty good, not too thick not too thin. A little doughy. sauce and cheese were OK. Overall they were OK pies, but the margherita had WAY TOO MUCH oil on it - and it didn't taste like a nice evoo, thick and oily and heavy. I think there was an option to get a thinner crust and i probably should have opted for that. If we go back to Disney I would probably check out Flipper's again.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY!! I waited almost 2 hours for my order and live 5 minutes away! I had to call to remind them of my order and they assured me it was fresh and on the way. Delivery guy literally came running 10 minutes later and delivered cold pizza and pasta. If I spend 28 dollars on food....it better not be cold. Taste was ok, pizza was oily and pasta ruined by congealed cheese that had gone cold for sitting 2 hours. Will never eat here again. Papa John's is much better, quick, cheaper, and delivers HOT food.

I kept hearing rave reviews of this place on the Disboards and consider myself a bit of a pizza snob, so I had to try it. After a day at Animal Kingdom, then swimming for about 3 hours at our hotel, we were hungry, but not in the mood to get dressed up and go back out. We decided to order takeout pizza. I placed the order online and it was very easy to do. The pizza was just coming out of the oven when I walked in the front door. The inside of the restaurant was much nicer than I expected. I definitely see us coming back here for a sit down meal. They have a large and varied menu, but seeing as we just ordered a large pepperoni pizza, my review is strictly regarding the quality of the pizza. The crust was fresh, well seasoned and had just the right amount of "bite." The sauce was amazing - it is rare to find a chain pizza place with a sauce as good as this. At one point I bit into a small piece of fresh garlic and, for me, that sealed the deal! The sauce was no so processed and laden down with sugar that you couldn't taste the tomatoes! It tasted very fresh. The pepperoni seemed to be of high quality and the cheese was delicious as well. I originally felt that $15 for a large 14" pepperoni pizza was a bit pricey, but after tasting it, it seemed like an amazing deal.

Horrible service. Server NEVER refilled our drinks. My boyfriend had to go and refill them himself at the counter. Pizza was bland and salad was just ok. So many other great places to choose to eat at in the Crossroads Plaza, don't waste your time here.

I picked up my pizza. It was delicious! Very good service when I arrived and left. The ceasar salad and pizza was awesome. We had 1 pepperoni and 1 spinach but my family thought the spinach was better. Also make sure you order the traditional pizza crust. Thank you Flippers my family was happy!

I actually had a bad experience here. First off they didn't warn us that they were way behind and understaffed prior to taking our order. Then they lost our order. In all fairness they were having an off night.(waitress in training, too many orders, etc.) So, why 4 stars? Well, when I finally lost my temper( hour or so later) and complained the manager put our order in right there on the spot, personally, and gave us our pizza free. Very professional. And let me say this is gooood pizza. Not the best I've ever had but darn close. If I could do 4 1/2 stars I would. I highly recommend this place. Just check how busy they are...

It's clean and the service is ok. However, the food is something that you'd get from a grocery store and microwave at home

Great crust. Great sauce. Great toppings. I recommend the traditional crust with the sweet Italian sausage and pepperoni. Delicious!

On the update, after a second email to corporate noting my disappointment with their lack of follow up I did happen to receive a note back from the VP of Operations. He was very nice and apologetic even offering me a credit at this location. I will not be returning to this location, even with credit, but did find his response appropriate, I just wish it would have been a little more timely.

The food wad pretty good and the service was quick. I'm from California and we have some great pizza places so it was nice to find them. Got tired of the theme park food and steak houses around.

Great service! The pizza was freshly made instead of frozen from a box! Beyond what I thought it would be! Try the carni pizza and Sonoma pizza! Both were off the charts! I will 100% be back

Conveniently located right outside of the Disney resort. Went here for a little more affordable friendly price than going to downtown Disney. Their pizza was good and worth every bite. The service was good. Was a little confused whether I had to order first then sit down but figured it out. Just find a seat and a server will hand you menus and take your drink orders ASAP.

We just finished our Bacon Double Cheeseburger pizza and Bread sticks. It was the best I've had in a very long time. We were told that it would be 45-60 minutes for delivery but we received a call from the delivery guy in about 20 minutes saying he would be at our hotel in apprx 5 minutes. They most definitely exceeded my expectations. I would most definitely recommend

Really good pizza. Nice taste/texture to the dough. Had the Bianca (a white pizza). Really nice. Another diner had penne pasta with Alfredo. Another the BLT. All were good. Had the garlic bread for appetizer which also was pretty tasty.

Great pizza and friendly servers. We ate here last year and decided to visit again. We had lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and it was good. I don't usually eat crusts, but here I do. We actually had a second visit here this trip. We were trying to find a place to eat on Friday, but everything had long waits. So we called in to get a pizza for pickup. On the way to pick it up, we decided to see if we could eat there as it would not be easy to get drinks and eat in a hotel room. They were very understanding. They got our drinks quickly and brought our pizza out. Will definitely eat here again.

The pizza here was surprisingly delicious! I've had bad experiences with pizza down south but Flippers was excellent. My family got a margherita specialty pie and a sausage and onion pie. Both we great. Service was great too. Fair prices. 5 stars.

Omgee, why is this place so delicious? I had a Italian Club sandwich and it was unexpectedly delicious. I couldn't believe how good it tasted. It was ham, salaam, pepper, prolong cheeses, etc. I expected a food sandwich like the Italian BMT at Subway. But it was a hot sub. The bread was toasted, the meat was cooked. If my mouth could eat my favorite song - that's how heavenly it felt to eat this sandwich. This food was undeniably delicious. I love it undoubtedly.

The pizza here is to DIE for. I think this is some of the best pizza I've had outside of Italy (actual Italian pizza belongs on its own heavenly plain, clearly). My friend who lives in the area steered us here after a disappointing outing to Downtown Disney. It was a great recommendation - I only wish we had one of these at home, because now I seriously crave this pizza. This location is in a large shopping center, a hidden gem tucked amongst many chain restaurants and fast food joints. We came on a Thursday night and there were only a handful of other tables besides ours. The restaurant itself was very clean and cozy, with the requisite Italian scenes on the walls decor. Service was prompt and friendly. Their personal pizza is a great value, probably the best option at this place. You get your own oversized-plate-sized pie (about six slices - more than enough to make two meals out of, at least for me!) for about $7. Toppings are additional, but they have a wide variety of unusual toppings to choose from. I tried a cheese pizza with grilled chicken and really enjoyed it. The crust was buttery and just doughy enough and probably the best part of a pretty tasty pizza. If you're looking to escape Disney property food and chain restaurant hell (and even if you're not), this is a great place to do it. You won't regret it.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I didnt like this pizza. The thin crust was still too thick. The cheese was very heavy. I got a small veggie and subbed out different toppings. I think I got 4 or 5 toppings. My partner ordered a 2 topping pizza and hers cost more than mine. It would have been nice for the waiter to mention that she could sub ingredients on one of the special pizzas.. The salad was good and the price on that was right( 3.49). I've come to realize Orlando( except for disney) is a pepsi town. I brought over a diet coke from Moe's next door.

Decent pizza, but having grown up outside of Chicago, I have a tough time with anything other than legitimate Chicago-style pizza. This was not, but then they weren't trying to be, so I can't knock them for that. We had a thin crust pizza, half with Italian sausage and half with tomatoes and basil. It was all right, and far better than what is offered down the street at Disney. Our server was a skinny little tattooed brunette. Very funny and witty. She was great and got us in and out of there quickly. We left happy.

Went for lunch with some co-workers. We only had an hour because one of the guys had to be back for a meeting. We got there at 11:00, so it wouldn't be busy and we could get in and out. We were actually the only table for a bit. We placed our drink order and our regular order as soon as they came. So basically, right away. And the pizza guys at the oven jumped into action. Little did I know... I assumed they were our small personal pizzas since we were the only ones there. We sat and sat and sat. I realized that they were working on a phone in order. These guys were truckin'! Each time they put another one in, I kept thinking, that has to be our order. Nope. This was getting ridiculous. And by this time, there was only one other table and they didn't get their order either. After 30 minutes of watching pizza after pizza be made and packed up, our waiter finally came over and apologized saying they had a $1400 order come in. So.....? We're no longer important? Gotcha. He went to the pizza counter himself and got our order pushed out. I had all of 10 minutes to eat mine. Which I could only eat 1/3 before I had to box up the rest and take back to the office to finish. The guys didn't even chew their food. I knew they wouldn't be feeling well later. The pizza itself was good, but service is the reason for 2 stars. I can't imagine what would happen if that order came in while they were busy.

This is our late nite stop for pizza, after DisneyWorld. We typically call from the parking lot of the Magic Kingdom and place our order. By the time we follow the GPS to Flipper's our pizza is ready and waiting for us. We also find a place for a bottle of wine too. During this drive our child usually falls asleep, which means more pizza for us. We go back to the hotel and have a nice quite dinner. I would not say it is the best pizza but it definately fills our void after a long day of amusement park fun. It has become a tradition just like Disney and we look forward to stopping here again in the future.

5 stars for a pizza joint! Hubby desperately wanted pizza on our vacation and I looked up a few places on Yelp here. Flippers had 28 reviews and sounded pretty good. We walked in and sat down, reviewed the menu, and decided on one Traditional pie and one thin crust for our party. The thick crust was out of this world. Coated in garlic butter, I think. Yum yum! I got the sweet italian sausage on half and it was. So. Good. I didn't taste the thin crust but my MIL enjoyed it but the husband said the thick crust was better. We got a chef salad for my daughter and it came with two big rolled up slices of meat, thick pieces of tomato, and chunky pieces of cheese. Highly recommend Flippers pizza!

First, remember that 3 stars means A-OK, and this is what that was. Three stars doesn't mean a "C" like in school! The pizza was decent, the wait staff was friendly, and the location convenient. Clearly better food and value than anything at Disney, so if you're at Disney and feel like pizza, take your time to leave the property and come on over here.

This Flipper's Pizza is in a shopping center just outside one of the main entrances to Walt Disney World. I wanted to write this review as a "Thank you" for handling a bad situation about as well as it could have been. This happened last night. My daughter was dog-sitting a friend's chihuahua, so when 4 of us decided to get something to eat, we had a choice of either fast food or someplace with outdoor seating. I am on a low-carb diet, so I needed someplace that could serve a salad with grilled chicken. Flippers has a few tables on the walkway outside of the restaurant, so it seemed to be a good choice. They provide full table service to the outside tables. The menu had a good choice of options, with (of course) pizza being the main focus. There were a lot of options for pizza toppings (including artichokes, which I love on pizza), but my 3 kids (ages 24, 16, 13) chose the 14-inch triple pepperoni pizza, while I had my salad with grilled chicken. The kids also got some bread sticks. The waitress came outside with our drinks on a tray . . . and dumped them all over me and my 13 year old. It was obviously a mistake. She was very, very apologetic, moved us to a new table, came out with lots of napkins to dry us off. She then went in, came out a few minutes later and told us our entire meal would be free. I expected some kind of discount, but not the entire meal free. That was well done, and it certainly put us in a forgiving mood. Plus, the poor girl worked her tail off trying to provide the best service possible. After the way this was handled, I would not hesitate to go back. The only thing that might have been better was that the manager should have come out to apologize as well, but that was minor. As for the food, I was quite happy with my salad. It was a good size, with the veggies very fresh. The kids really liked bread sticks and the pizza, too. The Pizza had a thick layer of cheese and looked very tasty. The only complaint might be that there was a little too much oil in the dish with the bread sticks, causing the last two to be a little oil-soaked. We were appreciative for the good customer service gesture and the good service to make up for the mistake. I left a pretty good tip, about twice what I would have left if we had had to pay for the meal.

"They Call them Flippers! Flippers, faster than lightning, No-one you see, is better for meeee, And we know Flippers, lives in a world full of wonder, Flying there-under, bringing pizza to meeeeeeee! " Okay let me stop. Because their service wasn't faster than lightning. It was fast enough however, and thats why I am even bothering to give them a review. I usually recommend pizza places to guests at the hotel, and when they ask me about Flippers I usually don't know what to tell them about their pizza. That all changes today though, because for the first time in my Jamaican Canadian history, I was able to enjoy some of their tasty pizza. My Coworkers all decided to pitch in for a pizza today and Flippers was the company we decided on. Since we are a hotel I believe we got a discount. It was about $10 for a Large Triple Pepperoni pizza. The pizza was delicious. The crust wasn't too hard or too doughy. The tomato sauce was tasty and the cheese was good as well. The only downside is that the pizza is on the greasier side of the scale. It was definitely a delicious pizza though and I wouldn't be afraid to order from them again.

Very good pizza and cooked to perfection... Love their use of fresh ingredients especially in their tomato sauce for the pizza and the serving utensil for the pie...nice touch. The deluxe had veggies, sausage and a moderate amount of pepperoni which didn't overpower the pie with salt and sodium nitrites. Surprisingly good and located in the Crossroads Shopping mall @ Hotel Plaza Blvd. Open until 12 midnight on a Thursday..Yes it costs more than Pizza Hut but it's worth it..I wish there was one in Miami Beach...

Great pizza around Downtown Disney and great price for a tourist area! I use to live around the area and to find a place that doesn't charge extra just cause its a tourist area is great. Had the pesto tomato basil bread and california pizza. Both were great a filling!

On our first night in Orlando we sought out some simple fare to get us through the evening munchies. We'd seen a Flipper's near Menchie's Frozen Yogurt and decided to give it a whirl. So glad we did! The pizza is delicious, with plenty of options for toppings and specialties that'll satisfy pretty much any appetite. They did mess up our Greek salad order but redeemed themselves superbly by taking it off the check without any prompting. Highly recommended!

We are always in search for a great pizza place. We often go to Pizzeria Uno when we are in the Orlando area but the words "perfect pizza" caught our attention. We ordered the Bianca, Big pie and Mediterranean. The crust is tasty and just crispy on the bottom. The toppings and cheese are great quality and the service was great. This place is highly recommended.

This is not the worst pizza I have ever had. The thick, doughy crust didn't taste offensive, the cheese was obviously not spoiled, the sauce was not poor quality, and the meat had been cooked today. But if I could give just one-and-a-half stars, that's what they'd be getting, because we requested no peppers on the pizza, and they didn't listen.

The pizza here is definitely unique. I must have come here during an off time because it was empty at 9pm on a tuesday night. Aside from that, the I orderd the veggie pie. It had a limited amount of tomato sauce, while drenched with cheese. The pizza dough was actually fairly sweet and unexpected. Overall it was a decent pizza.

I used their slick online ordering to get a buffalo chicken pizza and greek salad. The delivery was quick and the salad was nice and fresh with dressing on the side (not soaked like some places). The pizza was pretty greasy for my tastes but lots of flavor and the crust was pretty good. Nothing special but heads and shoulders above dominos/hut/papa johns.

Possibly the best pizza in all of lake buena vista. When I used to live in the area I would come here very often. Even though it's a chain, it's high quality stuff. My favorite would be the quattro formaggio. Never lets me down. After your day is done at the parks, and you've retired into your hotel room, looking for a place to eat... Look no further. Come in here, take a seat, order anything, and it'll be good. Solid. Just what you'll probably need to shake off all that tackiness you've accumulated.

This is my favorite Flippers location. Even after moving to Dr. Phillips I still drive to this Flippers. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They're always sure to offer paper plates, napkins, or any little extras you might need. My only complaint is sometimes they quote you a time about 5-10 mins before your food is actually done. As for the pizza, you can't go wrong with their BBQ Chicken Pizza- yummm! I could eat it every day!

Another family recommended this place to us while we were eating at Ghirardelli in Downtown Disney, saying it tasted just like NY pizza. No, it does not taste like NY pizza! But the pizza was very, very good and reasonably priced for being so close to Disneyworld. We ordered a 12" Philly Cheesesteak with a thin crust. (Whoops! We missed the pepperoncini listed in the menu. We don't like food spicy, so we pulled them out. Kinda annoying and there were sure lots of them! But our mistake.) We ordered Penne Marinara with meatballs and a Caesar Salad. They were both decent. We ordered three fountain drinks. With tax and tip, it was just under $40 for 3 people. We got there around 5:30 PM and were seated right away. It took awhile to get the pizza but we ate salad and watched TV. Every pizza is custom made so it does take time to make and bake. The restaurant was roomy and clean. We would go there again.

I was visiting Orlando theme parks from miami, we stayed by downtown Disney and I was sick of chain restaurants And I was craving for an Italian thin crust style pizza, the front desk agent suggested flippers ... As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the Server, told us to seat anywhere we liked. Very friendly girl. Apparently she was the only server cause it seems its mostly a takeout pizza place. The rest it's a Cozy place, not a big deal. But a decent select on wine and relatively cheap. Order a bottle of chianti, some wings. The pizza arrived..Amazing, best pizza ever had..better than in Miami.(rustica, archies, spris, cassale's) We order half of the cheesesteak pizza and half of Italian meats. The pizzas was superb and the server was super attentive.... I really recommend flippers pizzeria.

We were visiting from Seattle and wanted a night in with a reasonably priced pizza. The front desk at our hotel recommended Flipper's and boy were they right on! They've got a great sweetness to their crust and a buttery taste to their cheese. Oh, and their breadsticks? Best I've ever had! They said 45 mins for delivery, but it was 30, fast too! Highly recommend Flipper's for a good pie in Orlando!

Quite disappointing after reading some positive reviews here. Pizza Hut is much better. Period. Seriously.

This is a tale of two reviews...after my first visit to Flipper's, I was ready to write the most scathing, derogatory review I have ever written on Yelp. We were on vacation at Disney, and I went to Yelp to find the closest reasonably rated pizza place within striking distance and decided on Flippers. As many of you may know, many Disney resorts are a substantial drive from anything off Disney property. We placed an order for wings, a pizza, breadsticks, and an 8" sub. I make the 20 minute drive to the restaurant, pick up the order, and get back to the room. No sub....majorly annoyed after a long day in the parks. I call and basically demand they deliver it. They don't deliver to my resort. I paid cash so there is no way to credit it back, but if I drive back I can get a fresh 8" sub and they will try to do something for me. And I'm back in the car. I'm seething all the way there, practically writing the first half of this review in my head. I get to the restaurant (again) and THEN SOMETHING MIRACULOUS HAPPENS: the manager is waiting with my sub, the seven dollars I had paid for it, and a coupon for a free 3 topping large pizza. I was absolutely speechless, because it had been such a long time since I had been to a restaurant that actually got 'triage customer service'. Oh, yeah, the Philly Cheesesteak pizza was really good (although I'd suggest they dice the green peppers) the breadsticks were nice and soft and well seasoned, and my wife's sub was a reported thumbs up. Great job, Flippers, I will be telling stories about you to anyone who I know is going to Disney. THAT is how you build a referral customer base!!

The crust tasted like something pre-made from a grocery store at best. It is hard to believe that this was baked in a brick oven. Barely deserved one star but I still ate it. For the price, it just was not a good value.

Great pizza. Their Italian sausage is fantastic. Good crust (so important!). Fabulous lunch specials even on weekends -- so considerate when you realize that most of the area workers are hospitality workers with no traditional weekends! It's also one of the few pizza places in town that can accommodate a large sit-down party. Love this place.

The restaurant is 0.7 miles away. When I placed my order, the guy says 45 minutes. I get my order a little over 1.5 hrs later!!! And SURPRISE!... The food is COLD. I'd also like to say the margarita pizza we ordered was still good despite the fact that it was room temp-- but I can't. I had one slice and lost my appetite. I do NOT recommend this establishment. Stick to pizza hut.

Flatbread was disappointing. Pizza, pasta, and cheese bread was first rate though. Delivered hot to our hotel. Where is my extra BBQ sauce?

Very good pizza. My son liked it too, and he's picky about his bacon pizza. The staff is extremely friendly. Asking all the usual questions of tourists and engaging in conversation while you order.

Surprised how good their brick oven pizza was... better than Bayonne. Their dinner salad was one of the best salads I've ever had too. Great causal atmosphere for a pizzeria.

Awesome pizza and the bread sticks were the best I have ever had. Great pizza at a great price made 9 people very happy for less than $ 55.00

I wouldn't drive across town for this place, but if you are in the area, very solid pizza experience. This is in the shopping center with McD and TacoBell.

I stayed closeby on vacation, and had a craving for pizza. Didn't want to go with the regular Pizza Hut, Domino's thing, so I tried Flipper's takeout. If you like Papa John's, then you'll like Flipper's. I ordered a thin sausage and mushroom, and it was ho hum. Toppings were minimal. Cheese and sauce were good, and crust was very similar to Papa John's. Definitely not the best pizza I've ever had, but in a pinch it seemed adequate.

The hotel we stated at had flippers advertising everywhere, so we gave it a try. The service was great. Very polite on the phone and at our door. The bread sticks were very good! The were approximately as thick as my pinky finger and tossed in buttery garlic heaven. Mmmmm. (Not soaking though) The pizza on the other hand was not as great. We ordered original, hand tossed cheese pizza with green pepper, onion, and pepperoncinis on half. The pizza was disappointingly paper thin. Veggies were under the cheese, which i do not particularly care for, because they then do not get that cooked, crisp taste. The cheese was mild tasting, not much flavor. The sauce was nice and rich; full of flavor. It did not make up for the lack of flavor in the cheese though. Overall, it was edible. I would not choose Flippers again when we come back to Florida, but would eat it if it were the only option. However, this is America, a land defined by free choice and a plethora of options.

Not a lot to say. I was staying in a nearby Hotel visiting Disney. The front desk said this place was good. I called and ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza to be delivered. They were friendly and polite on the phone. The driver arrived quicker than expected. The pizza was great! The price was reasonable! I would go/order from them again! :)

Great pizza (and lots of choices), very family friendly and the staff is great. Also decent prices. All in all, if your hungry for pizza but don't want to pay the steep price on-site, go here. Its literally just across the street from Downtown Disney!!

This past weekend, we were totally exhausted from our all day stay at Aquatica waterpark and we didn't want to go out to eat. We ordered pizza from Flipper's and all I can say was WOO HOO.. Born and raised in NY, you think man there's no pizza like NY's pizza but Flipper's was very close.. I ordered two extra large pizzas with the Season thick crust; One Deluxe with the pepperoni and sausage and the other half Hawaiian and half pepperoni with cheese. It was yummy.. I ordered the chicken wings and my family of 6 ate everything.. They passed out immediately after eating so that should tell you it was good.. LOL

I'm visiting and tried this place. very expensive for the pizza and flatbread I got. Flatbread pizza was about 4inches by 8 inches...yes it was that small. Pizza was a specialty that was not made right and was missing toppings. The crust was nothing special and the thin toppings slid off. This was worse than UNOs pizza I had last night. Try another pizza place.

If you like fast food, you might think this pizza is ok. As for us, we wont be ordering from here again. After waiting 1 hr for the pizza, it was cold, and not the tastiest pizza. We didnt mind the wait, but we could have done without the pizza.

Really solid pizza. We had the Hawaiian which was really good. Also really inexpensive- I think a medium was like $12 and was more than enough to fill my husband and me. Of course we did have chips and salsa with our margaritas at Chevys beforehand. So maybe get a large if you are really hungry...

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
