High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

I've known about Burgerfi for years, and been to a few throughout Florida. But lately, it has become my go-to spot for a great burger. For about $5, you get a flavorful patty, with a nice selection of toppings to choose from. I always get a single, and load it to the gills with veggies. The burger tastes great without being too greasy. I love five guys, but their burgers always end up being a soggy mess for me. The fries are also good, and you get a large portion for the money. The onion rings LOOK great, but the flavor disappoints to be honest. I think the fact that they slice them so thick makes the batter proportion out of whack...just not enough flavor there. I'd skip them. Yeah, it might be a little pricey if you're getting a double, with cheese, fries, and a drink. But a value meal at McDonald's can cost almost as much, and it's not even on the same playing field. Sometimes, it's good to treat yourself to quality food.

This was our first visit to a Burger Fi and while my friend first thought it was a glorified Five Guys, it's much better than that. Why? The burgers have more flavor, and while they are skimpy with toppings you order, a double burger with bacon, cheese and grilled onions packs taste. We didn't try any of the pre-designed burgers on the menu, rather made our own and were content. We left remembering two things: the fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade and hand-cut french fries. Both were much better than average. In fact, the lemonade becomes addicting after a few sips. The fries aren't greasy and you can tell they are hand cut, rather than frozen and dumped in a frier. Why come here for a burger? It's a fun, laid back place, with great service, it's clean, modern and affordable. You'll enjoy all the burgers, fries and drink selection and while it's a few bucks more than your favorite fast food spot you'll be able to taste the difference.

I freakin' love this place. I love it more when I go to other burger joints and realize how amazing Burger Fi really is... I really enjoy the burgers, atmosphere, location, service, and that soda machine! I'm pretty run of the mill and always get the classic cheeseburger but every specialty burger my boyfriend has ever ordered has looked amazing. Pro tip: the fries come in a huge portion so unless you haven't ate for a week or are a giant, share the order with someone else.

This is the new Burger Fi location across UCF below the Plaza on university house complex. I came here 10 minutes before they closed at 10pm and didn't realize they closed pretty early for a UCF area eatery but nevertheless was impressed with the costumer service by the young man at the cash register. He was happy, upbeat and patient as we decided what to order even though they were closing soon. On to the food- my friend and I both had their vegetarian quinoa burger and oh my goodness it was delicious! This vegefi burger comes with with white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, burgerfi sauce and your choice of bun. I got the multigrain bun and that it was good, not hard like others. Since it's a new location the restaurant is really clean with a modern rustic feel. I will be back! -this time way before they are closing

There are very few places where affordable, delicious, healthy (somewhat), & imaginative food come together and are served in a fun and beautifully modern environment. BurgerFi is all of this! I usually stick to my favorite 3, but I'm planning on branching out on my next visit. My favorite 3: 1. Single cheeseburger wrapped in lettuce (all natural beef) 2. Parmesan & Rosemary fries (Freshly cut fries) 3. Key Lime Concrete (vanilla frozen custard mixed with freshly made key lime pie - unbelievable!) Other items available: Hot dogs of all sorts. Craft beer Aged brisket burgers Breakfast burgers Quinoa veggie burgers And more...

Craft beer! All natural free range beef with no added antibiotics, no hormones. You can taste the difference! I am so impressed, the burgers are juicy and delicious!

This was my first visit so I had no idea what to expect. The place was somewhat busy since it was game day at UCF. We were able to order immediately and I explained to the cashier that it was our first time there. She explained the fact that everything is fresh and cooked to order. All meats are grass fed and natural. I noticed that they use peanut oil for their frying. We opted for the BurgerFi Cheese Burgers, with fresh squeezed lemonade and a combo of french fries and onion rings. I must warn you that the onion rings are gynormous!!! We were given a tracker device and was told to place it on the mat in the center of the table and they would find us. We proceeded to get our drinks. They also have several craft beers and wine available. We waited about 10 minutes for our food which wasn't bad considering the restaurant was pretty packed. Our food arrived and I am glad we didn't opt to get 2 orders of the Cry + Fry (Onion ring and fry combo) because it was enough for 3 people. We opted to get the Parmesan and Herbs on our fries which were freshly cut and fried perfectly. Honestly I could have done without the flavoring as I didn't really taste it. The onion rings are fried in what I think was a beer batter and they were very good. Not too greasy. The burgers were smaller than what I expected. The pictures make them look pretty big but they are about the size you would find at a Wendys or McDonalds. But I have to say that these burgers tasted so good that I was willing to pay an additional $7 for another one....LOL They had great flavor, weren't greasy and were quite filling. Love the potato roll that they come on. Everything was fresh and crisp. As far as pricing goes it was a little steep. For 2 burgers, 2 drinks and the Cry + Fry we paid almost $30. Thats pretty darn steep in my opinion. A family on a budget may want to think twice before coming here. I will definitely be back but it will not be as frequent as I would like due to the fact I am not made of money. LOL!

I try to find a reason to eat here anytime I am visiting UCF. The food is typical of these higher end burger places -- not many choices of food (burgers and hot dogs), but lots of options for those burgers and dogs. French fries are some of my favorites. They also have the Coke "your way" machines, which is nice for lots of drink options. The restaurant itself is not huge, but not too cramped either. There is outdoor seating when the weather permits, and the whole place as an open feeling to it. I am a BurgerFi fan and am always happy to satisfy a burger and fries craving there!

Yummy food, affordable prices, fun atmosphere! The service is fairly quick, even when busy, and everyone who works there seems rather happy to be there. As a wheelchair user, the layout of their tables is not super navigable. The counter and drink fountains are accessible but many of the tables were so close together that any wheelchair user can't get through or around. This limits your seating options, especially when it's busy. However, it's a perfect place for late dinner or ice cream as their open until 11! I'm a fan of that!

Decided to hit here for burgers and more after a couple drinks around the corner at Bar Louie because we thought would get more food for our money here. Maybe not. As a couple burgers, fries and rings did come out to over $22. It wasn't like we went nuts with the burgers or anything, but fries and rings really do add to the overall cost even on just a regular order of each. The onion rings are as big as tires for a Mini-Cooper, so next time I'll just get the regular order combining fries and rings because three will be more than enough and it saves a few dollars. While value was not the best, taste was a positive and the attention we received from both the cashier and the manager was even better than that. Considering we took our food home, the care and packaging was excellent as every single item was in a separate bag and requests for additional sauces and condiments were not ignored. As I've experienced previously with a location in Tampa, the layout of these restaurants are very casual and really work well with the fantastic Florida weather.

Burgerfi is a great chain! They use grass fed beef and really quality ingredients. The burgers are delicious and reasonably priced, especially for the level of quality. Burgerfi lets you really customize the burgers. There are several types of cheeses, vegetable toppings, hash browns, eggs, sauces, etc. You can get really creative. Additionally, you can get the burger with a lettuce bun instead of a bread one. They also have a veggie burger that I've heard is really good. They also serve hot dogs, which are also very good. There are also Coke Freestyle machines, along with beer and wine. Also, their fries at this location are very good. A regular size is a huge amount of fries. I went with my dad and sister and we shared a regular order of fries and had some leftover. They also have onion rings that are also huge. You don't get a ton of onion rings, but they are very large. My favorite burger is the Breakfast All Day burger, but I haven't had anything that wasn't delicious. This place uses humanely raised meat, quality ingredients, and is really good. I highly recommend trying it out.

Definitely my favorite burger in the UCF area! I ordered the BurgerFi double cheeseburger with fries. The sweet whole wheat bun with melted cheese and pickles (I added) were all completely perfect. I was not too happy about the fries. They seemed a bit unseasoned so I added salt, but that did not help very much. I also wish they were a bit thinner and crispier, but I'm sure there are people out there who prefer them medium-sized! Despite the mediocre fries, I will still return to get my favorite burger and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere!

  • Sydney B.

Fantastic, Delicious, and Creative! My friend and I came back the other night, and were not disappointing! The Fries were perfect and came in abundant amounts, the entire establishment was decked out in a way that I'm sure would be approved of by hipsters and sports fans alike, and the BURGERFI branding into the top bun, too cool! If I had to make a complaint about this place at all, it would only be because they didn't ask how I wanted my meat cooked. Everything else couldn't have been better. (The prices could've been a bit lower though.)

Ok so this location is new and I must say I like the ambience here. Very clean and cool. They provide indoor and outdoor seating so choose your taste! They also bring the food out to you which is neat. The prices are alright a single burger is 3.49 which is cheaper than 5 guys alone and you can really taste the healthier fresh taste. The bread is really soft and sweet and it's pretty good. They use peanut oil so you can kind of taste that in their fries and it's pretty good. Their fries were 2.49 I believe and came with a good amount I do recall. Their burger fi sauce is a must. They offer an array of toppings for free which is great. Cheese is a dollar and bacon is like 69 cents I believe. Anyway this place is pretty good. If your looking for a place around 10 bucks and in the mood for that classic burger and fries meal with a healthier fresh twist than try it out! Also they got a special where you buy two cups of wine and get the whole bottle free! I'm sure the cups are like 8$ which isn't worth it but hey lol

Really upset that when I went back in for the first time since being back in Orlando from Vacation I find out they ended the deal they had with my apartment complex. The prices are little too expensive without the deal. Also the guy at the counter was not very nice in the way he handled the situation. Not sure if I will be coming back.

  • John K.

Definitely a cool spot! Great location and cool atmosphere! Everything in the menu is all natural with no preservatives! Nicely done, BurgerFi. They have a decent selection of craft beers, if you're into that thing! The burgers are all great! The Parmesan cheese sprinkled fries are a great side choice! Check this place out! Only drawback is that it's a bit on the expensive side...

  • Beckie C.

The burgers have the best flavor and the service is excellent & fast. Can't beat this place for a good, quick lunch. The craft beer is cold and good too

Awesome place for great burgers! It's not just another all-american burger joint, that's for sure! I always get their BAD burger, or breakfast all day! It has a fried egg, hashbrowns, grilled onions, ketchup and maple syrup! Messy, but great. Also love their seasoned fries! I always get the parmesan and herb fries, but have to add salt though. I personally love Burgerfi more than Shake Shack. Their portions are justifiable to the price!

As a vegan, most places offer some sort of veggie patty "burger" that passes for edible. I can say that BurgerFi definitely has one of the best vegetarian burgers out there, made with quinoa and fresh veggies. I loved the whole wheat bun that accompanied it, kind of sweet in the way that whole wheat is, and it perfectly paired with their signature BurgerFi sauce (mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, paprika, garlic powder.) What really caught my eye walking in here was the enormous onion rings on people's plates. I ordered those as well and they were great. The selection of craft beers is moderate, lots of IPAs which is great for the hipster crowd they attract, but I hate IPAs so I passed. Wines are extremely overpriced at nine dollars a glass when you can buy the bottle at Publix for five dollars. Their custard shakes are cute, but seeing as the difference between custard and ice cream is really only the fat content and not flavor, I'm more than happy to not pay five dollars for a milkshake. The setting and atmosphere is great for Florida as the whole establishment is indoor/outdoor seating, and the doors are just floor to ceiling windows that open up. All in all I'd give it a 5/10 because the food was alright but really overpriced and burgers aren't really a food you can make fancier, only better ingredients, which BurgerFi has. (For reference, I paid seven dollars for my veggie burger, four dollars for onions rings, and three dollars for a soda.)

I used to go to Burger 21 to settle any burger crave, but now that there's a Burger Fi near the UCF campus, my staple has shifted over here. I'm honestly a tad disappointed in the less-than-homely service from the staff, though I think it might be an issue in training. However, the food is what you can expect from the franchise; wholesome ingredients, juicy meats and sauces, but nothing to overload your taste buds, unlike how other places do it. Definitely come by if you've never done it before. Oh, I would like to caution against the shakes now that I think about it. I tried one, but it was pretty lacking.

  • Alex N.

Great burgers, they were the star of the show! My fries, however, were not all cooked thoroughly. The staff handled it great and replaced them! I would go back and try some of the other items, for sure.

This is a brand new spot near UCF. It promises to be full pretty much everyday of the week since it is so close to UCF and right below an apt complex. Other than that the staff seems really nice and friendly and it is BurgerFi... Always good burger and shakes! Five Guys and Burger21 you just got tough competition around you now!

Went here for lunch. The restaurant was busy but wasn't hard to find a table. Everything was a la carte. I loved the veggie burger. It wasn't dry and made with quinoa, black beans and carrots. Delicious. Also ordered the french fries and onion ring combo. French fries were not good and a little limp. Onion rings were better. They only give you three, but they are HUGE and crispy. They also have custard and will give you samples if you ask.
