Returned to try some new dishes and was very pleased. Appetizers Shrimp Napoli was fantastic! The seasoning on the crispy breaded shrimp complimented the charred tomato Napoli sauce brilliantly. I'm not a fan of tomatoes but this dish was delicious. Fried mozzarella ravioli Not quite as great as last time but good nonetheless. Somewhat flat and not as bubble-like as last time. Main course Eggplant Parmesan w/red sauce substitute was excellent and moist. Salmon dinner had a few too many tomatoes but overall good.

The restaurant located in the heart of Dr Phillips area. It's very nice decorated. The food was ok. The drinks need a little work on. The service was attentive but they went over board. It got to the border of annoying. I get that they want to please you but they need to back up a little and allow the guess to breath.

Went here for a business lunch. I had the shrimp campanelle al forno. It was delicious. Others enjoyed lobster ravioli and the chicken caprese. Our server was attentive and we were in and out in one hour. Only drawback was that the bread was a little doughy. I prefer a more airy, sourdough like bread or roll. Also, they only have Pepsi products. I prefer Coca Cola.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice. It has a nice Italian feel to it. Very well designed. The food is average, nothing exceptional. The pasta dishes seemed a bit dry; could have used more sauce. The eggplant parm was good, but the portion seemed small for the price. Staff seemed friendly and prices were ok. Overall not a bad pick if you come for the atmosphere and decent food. Expectations above that will leave you disappointed.

Awesome place!!! It's a sister restaurant to brio. We ordered several things here. I had the peach Bellini. It was wonderful. Sweet and juicy. We ordered 2 salads: the Brussel sprouts and walnut salad and the bravo salad. The Brussel and almond salad was great. I could eat that all day. The bravo salad, although good, wasn't anything special. For a main course I had the chicken caprese. It was delicious, also recommended is the grilled salmon.

Amazing service! Since I'm vegan, I wasn't sure if I would be able to eat any of the meals but the chef was able to help me with the choices and my meal turned out delicious! Thank you Chef James!

Really good experience and our server was awesome and super attentive! When I remember his name I'll come back to post it! Try their Summer Fixe menu! I had their Ceasar Salad which came with the right amount of dressing and was really crisp! Then for the second course I had the Pasta Woozie which was Fettucine with Alfredo sauce, spinach and chicken, delish! I also had the chance to try their lasagna which wasn't on the Summer Fixe menu and it was super creamy, lots of ricotta, awesome! Desserts really where good too!

Usually at bravo the experience is good This time from when we first walked in it off rough.we waited at the hostess stand for a good 10 min before anyone even came up to us. I made reservations since it was Friday night I showed up a little before my time and she said there was a wait of 20 min they were busy. If there was already a wait then why bother make reservations. WE waited and got seated it took maybe 10 min for our server Justin to come over and greet us and take our drink order. I asked if the moscato was really sweet as there are some sweeter than others, he assured me it was really sweet- it was not I should've sent it back but it took 20 min for me to even get one glass. I saw him just hanging around the kitchen then by the register as my glass of wine was sitting at the bar. We had the calamari appetizer which was Luke warm but we were starving at this point and didn't say anything. It came with a horseradish sauce as well which was amazing with it. Our server was MIA most of the time as our water glasses stayed empty and he was never near to ask for refil. Another server took our order as now it's been almost an hr we were there I asked her what her favs were and she told me two dishes I went with her first choice chicken Milanese. Pretty much chicken parm, person I was with got eggplant parm Took roughly around 45 min for our food to even come out to us It was sitting under the lamps as the dish was burning hot the food was warm My chicken was dry and the cheese was melted at one point but wasn't when I got it It was a glob of cheese Eggplant parm she said it was good she liked the sauce on it nice and garlic Highly disappointed I should've complained I didn't as their excuse as I heard them tell another table is the kitchen is backed up

I was visiting some coworkers and they called this a step up above Olive Garden. Ha! This is a total date/girls night out type of place. Super pretty inside and the menu is very broad. Super Pluses: Table bread (SO good) I ordered the half size (whew!) of the thin crust flat bread pizza. It was a perfect size when I added a small Caesar salad. The one thing I couldn't eat and realllllly wanted to was the dessert. our server brought over the dessert tray and man, they looked delicious! But, being a new diabetic sucks! Overall, I'd definitely go back here. Plenty of parking as it's part of a mall of sorts with other restaurants/retail establishments. Easy to get to from the freeway too.

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had! The service was amazing, with a very attentive and knowledgable waiter. He recommended all of our dishes, simply based on a few preferences and each was done to the perfection. I will definitely be coming back! Try the appetizer sampler, you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I used to eat at bravo quite frequently years ago before she became gluten-free. We decided to try this restaurant again knowing that it would be challenging obviously as an Italian restaurant to be gluten-free. My wife had a chicken and gluten-free pasta dish which was not good. I had Mamas lasagna and it did not taste fresh. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and pretty good service.

I love this place, great atmosphere, nice servers and awesome food. Perfect for a lunch meeting or a dinner date. Favorites are beef carpaccio, pizzas and pasta bolognese.

I've been there multiple times, it's probably the best Italian restaurant one the area. I don't have anything bad to say about this place. My personal favorite is the Angels hair with scallops and tomato sauce, highly recommend!

  • Mia M.

A little disappointed. I went there for dinner, I usually go there for lunch and the food and service is great but tonight the service was horrible and the Pasta bravo, didn't even taste anything close like during lunch. :-(

My family and I decided to come to Bravo for a nice family dinner. I was in the mood for a nice steak and ordered the 8oz Filet, medium rare. Upon receiving the steak it turned out to be medium well. No big deal, maybe the server misheard my order. Upon informing the food runner of this however, he responded that the chef is just going to tell him to bring it back to me and cut into the center to see it is medium rare. Although I'm slightly taken aback by his response, I oblige. It's medium well in the center too. A few minutes pass and my family are half way through their meals when I receive the second attempt at a mid-rare steak. Not only is it Rare, it's completely undercooked. The center of the steak was cold. Like 5 minutes out of the freezer cold. I flag down the server and before I have a chance to tell him, he says "let me guess, the first one was overcooked and this one is undercooked" I almost laugh at the casual response of this but instead simply affirm his assessment. He apologizes and goes back to have the chef go for round three. My family is just finishing their meal when the manager arrives with steak number three. This steak is still rare but at least this time, it's warm all the way through and for sake of time and the fact that my family has indeed already finished their meals, I inform her that it's fine, "I'll just eat this one." I ask her if the chef uses a thermometer. She responds that some of the chefs are able to achieve the right steak temperature by eyesight alone. Not the best response when we are on steak number three here. Later the server informs me and my family that this chef is actually better than their previous chef, and I should be glad I wasn't here last week as they may have just brought out the cow. Another interesting attempt at soothing the mishap. At the end of the day, the manager comped the steak, and the server was generally a nice guy if not a little off on the smooth talk. The experience however, was far from enjoyable and all I gained from the conversation with the manager, the server and the food runner was that they know it's not great but hey, it used to be worse!

What I ordered: Lobster ravioli 3 stars because the menu seemed to be on the pricier side and I feel like you could go to Olive Garden for just as good if not better food (for cheaper). Good service, good food, and price was....I never saw the bill so I don't know :)

We go to several establishments on Sand Lake road each year. The Yelp reviews and nice exterior made us want to try Bravos this trip. Glad we did! The food and service by Justin was terrific! I got chicken and pesto spaghettini and my wife got pasta primavera. Both were excellent! The interior of the restaurant is very nice also. We tried a Sunday brunch, and had the same result - great omelets and service. Justin told me that there is a sister restaurant in Allen TX, close to our home, named Brios with a similar menu. We'll be visiting them also!

The food here is good. Bread, Italian Wedding Soup, and Sausage Tortellini. Drinks are not too bad. Service is HORRIBLE. Had outdoor seating but they only had one server for 10 tables. Two couples came, ate, and left by the time we got our dinner. We waited 1.5hrs for our entrees to come out. Absolutely ridiculous. We waited another 30mins for a manager to come to our table and we basically had to hunt the manager down to complain about the awful service. I'm really big on service and although the food was good, the service turned me off so bad that I'll never come back again.

  • Jackie C.

The service is the down fall of the restaurant. It seemed like our server had her first day on the job today. The bread had a weird flavor to it, the calamari tasted fishy and the pasta was dry, I had to ask for more sauce. The chicken wasn't that flavorful. But the red sauce was amazing. That was it.

  • Seann G.

Consistency is the name of the game. I've been here at least 10 times and without fail the food and service have both been great. This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Orlando. They do a great Sunday brunch, a great family holiday meal and an excellent ordinary evening night out. I've tried everything from their signature pasta dish to the pork chops (both absolutely delicious BTW!) Their appetizers and bread a great too. To top it off they actually know what temperature to store and serve red wine at (hint: It's NOT room temperature!).

We chose this restaurant for my birthday lunch as we live nearby and appeared to be a "nice restaurant" from the outside. My husband ordered the Tuscan Ravioli which he said was just "ok" this is a man that will eat leftovers a week after the fact and claim they were good. I ordered the Candied Bacon Hamburger. My hamburger was terrible! I kept thinking "where's the beef" commercial from he 80's. Seriously McDonalds serves a better piece of meat on their hamburgers and this was a $12.00 lunch burger! The service was fine we just felt the food quality was extremely lacking for the prices they were charging. We won't go back.

Free warm bread Good vegetarian selection - we made a few meat pastas vegetarian and also made a few olive oil pastas into marines sauce based pastas and still everything was delicious Very very fast Great eggplant Parmesan! Will def come again

One of the best cheesecakes I've ever had! They make Italian cheesecake so it is light, extra creamy, and has a perfect sweetness! The eggplant Parmesan is also really delicious. But I usually just come here for the dessert. The service and ambiance is really great for a nice evening out!

BRAVO! Cucina Italiana is a "polished casual," affordable restaurant offering classic Italian food amongst the shadows of Roman ruins. The subtitle "Cucina Italiana" means Italian kitchen, in which all cooking is done in full view of the guest, creating the energy of a live theater. BRAVO's popular entrees include grilled steaks, chops, and made-to-order pizzas, pastas and house specialties, similar to an authentic 'ristorante' in Italy. BRAVO! is part of Columbus-based BRAVO I BRIO Restaurant Group. Founded in 1992, BRAVO I BRIO Restaurant Group currently operates more than 100 restaurants in 33 states including BRAVO! Cucina Italiana, BRIO Tuscan Grille and Bon Vie Bistro. On April 12, 2014, BRAVO! hosted a fun-filled Bunny Brunch to celebrate springtime. This brunch will be available also during Easter Sunday. I was invited to try it out recently here in town. Children's entrées are scrambled eggs, bacon and fresh fruit; and French toast with bacon and fresh fruit. Adults could chose from Sicilian Omelette (Cherrywood smoked ham, bacon, Fontanini sausage, tomato compote, Mozzarella, Provolone and Parmesan cheeses, served with brunch potatoes) to Berries & Cream French Toast (Mascarpone cream cheese stuffed French toast, honey, cinnamon, and berry compote with Applewood smoked bacon). Two other options will be mentioned below. Once drinks are ordered, house baked muffins are brought out. At our table, we were given poppy seed and blueberry muffins. Both were delicious, but were a tad dry in my opinion. With the Bunny Brunch, the meal also includes a yogurt & fruit parfait. Each cup was cute and had fresh fruit over yogurt taken right out of the fridge. The Eggs, Home Fries & Bacon consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, brunch potatoes, and brioche toast - turkey sausage available upon request. The scrambled eggs were requested to be of only egg whites and accommodated; they were delicious with a shake of salt and pepper. The bacon was crispy without being burnt. And the home fries were to die for with its delicious seasoning. The Ham & Biscuit Benedict had two poached eggs, Cherrywood smoked ham, house made biscuit, and hollandaise, served with brunch potatoes. This was made to please every tastebud as each ingredient added to the dish in general. The poached eggs had a little sweetness to the palate; the ham was smoked and a little spicy, but bearable to those who can't handle spicy dishes; and the biscuits themselves were fluffy as can be! BRAVO! Cucina Italiana Orlando - Dellagio is located at 7924 Via Dellagio Way, Orlando, FL 32819, in the Dellagio development adjacent to The Marketplace at Dr. Phillips. The 7,482-square-foot BRAVO! restaurant includes indoor seating for 233, two private dining rooms that can each accommodate up to 30, and an outdoor terrace that seats 122. BRAVO! offers lunch and dinner, as well as an award-winning children's menu. The restaurant is open Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m. For reservations, please call (407) 351-5880.

Great Food, but a really shitty experience. This is in the nice Dr.Phillips area of Orlando, but is largely a convention restaurant. Our party of 5 was seated quickly with a reservation, but it took 15 minutes for someone to approach us. The food took 45 minutes to come out....

Came for Valentine's Day based on reviews by this app. Gluten free menu was a plus. Portion sizes were small. Place was busy, it's valentines so there is a pas there. But I did a opentable reservation at 7:30.. Got seated at 8pm, got dinner at 8:40. Not loving the service. franchise elevations and your good.

Worst place ever! Worst customer service I've ever experienced. The restaurant was empty, and We waited for almost 10 minutes for the hostess to get us seated! Not being enough, we seated for almost another 20 minutes and NOBODY came to our table to offer us DRINKS! Not even the drinks!! So we decided to leave, and I'll never be back there! Do not recommend!!!!

I attended on March 17 at 6 pm a presentation sponsored by a local company. The setup was very poor and service was horrible. A manager was not visible, if at all present. The poor waitress was serving two large groups and the food was cold and late. This was a poor reflection not only on Bravo but on the presentation marketing their product. I would not recommend this establishment. especially to host a presentation. The waitress did her best given the lack of support.

The $3.95 Bar Bites menu is worth a repeat! Crispy Shrimp Napoli was over the top luscious. Buttery-garlic with thin crunchy outside. YUM! Good quantity on my plate too. Eight I think? Started counting kinda late! lol. Their Shrimp Diavolo W/ Crispy Eggplant was surprisingly still quite crunchy with the Diavolo sauce on it. Good thin triangle slices (maybe 1/8" thin) with generous helping of the shrimpy tomato-y stuff. Gee, one might think I have it out for the little shrimper guys!?? Dinner entree was (as they claim) their own Mama's Lasagna Bolognese. Large enough to gag ma's horse, this was a good choice too. Always extra points for including fennel in the sausage mix in my book. The Alfredo sauce was a little sparse for my liking but not worth the effort to ask fo' mo ma? I planned on bagging 1/2 of this big boy for tomorrow and well I'm looking forward to tonight! The Warm Berry Cake was my let down of the evening. All was prepared fine just my expectations were let's say, off spectrum? The super soft butter cake was fine but I ordered hoping for a more density in the cake. (duh) Their topper of Vanilla Gelato was so NOT ice cream! Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know gelato isn't anything like ice CREAM, but that again is that off spectrum thing I'm talking about. The gelato did not melt and help sweeten the tartness of the berries as ice cream would / could. I set myself up for this bummer. Looked like the Layered (Ghirardelli) Chocolate cake was the best option at the table. Coffee was a good call. 269 Frank P was an excellent server! Good job! Spot on accurate with all tasks. Even down to splitting our PIA overly complex bill! Personable enough to engage us all, aloof enough to keep the evening progression on time. Perhaps I should pick up a shrimper cocktail and ANYTHING Ghirardelli at the grocery to supplement this revisit of a mini-feast?!

Meh. Every dish had a cream sauce and marinara. Both were off-tasting and garlicky. Nothing horrible but it was like they stole the recipes from a local mall food court Italian restaurant. I won't be rushing back.

Worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. After being seated, we waited 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive; I can live with that, but after that it was another 20 minutes before they TOOK OUR ORDER. We actually had to flag down another waiter, as our waitress was paying us no attention. That waiter realized the situation and pulled out a pad to take our order on the spot. As he was taking our orders, the waitress came back and asked him "what are you doing?" Appropriately, he said "covering for you." After he finished taking our orders, we waited probably another 25 minutes before the waitress came by to tell us "your food is on its way." After another 20 or so minutes, with no one even coming by our table, in a virtually empty restaurant, we canceled our orders and left. Never going back and advising everyone I know to never go there. I'm writing this from Friday's, where my drink and food has all arrived in under 20 minutes.

I went here with a group of teammates for a team dinner. We ended up waiting two hours for our food, and when it came, the waitress did not even know what dish she was serving. Along with this, there was a hair in one of my teammate's pasta, and a fly in another one's water. I will not be coming here again, as an hour long dinner turned into a three hour ordeal.

*Good quality food My second time here. Good quality food with a varied menu. A definite step up from Olive Garden quality. Our server was very friendly and helpful, but did become more scarce when he was tending to a party of about 20. I don't particularly ever find salads appealing, but their house salad looked pretty good I have to say (I didn't try it).

    (4)
  • Faye C.

The Chicken Marsala was horrible. The chicken had a burnt taste and the sauce was nothing more than bland, brown gravy with mushrooms. Our waiter was great, but the manager had an attitude! Won't go back!

This is our second time having lunch at Bravo. Both times were very good. I had the Italian wedding soup and salad, both I would order again, very tasty. My husband had the grilled salmon and it was quite good; moist and flaky. The atmosphere is very nice, both inside and on the patio.

  • Vivian V.

This was our first time here. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive but then only a handful of tables were occupied. The food was between acceptable and good. Decor was kind of cheesy. I don't think we will be returning. Too many gems waiting to be discovered out there.

This has to be, hands down, the absolute worst Italian food on the planet. I think it survives only because of the location and the bar. There are other cheaper outlets for poor quality Italian in the area, I would recommend any of them before Bravo. On a positive note, the silverware was top notch as was the water.

  • Judy N.

I LOVE this place! Good, hearty italian food with a nice atmosphere and INCREDIBLE service. Every waiter or waitress we have had has been amazing and I have enjoyed everything I have ordered here. The bread and dipping oil is delicious and the drinks are great too!

  • Richard B.

I'll start with the only good things I can say about this place: 1-Food portions are good size 2-Nice large restaurant Besides that, you don't have to go here if you are a fan of Italian food. Half of our dishes were luke warm like they were waiting for the other dishes to finsh. Staff missed or messed up half of the orders and we didn't even ask for anything special. Save your time and go to any of the other Italian restaurants in the area.

    (2)
  • Steve A.

Bravo offers the standard Italian restaurant chain fare, but it has one of the best outside dining venues in the city, a large patio high above Sand Lake Road, Orlando's restaurant row. Since there isn't really any great Italian food in the area, it's as good a choice as any, and if you want to dine outdoors, this is an excellent choice.

  • Kathy A.

We use to live just blocks from this restaurant . Things have really gone down hill In 2 years. Dirty bathroom, 20 minute wait on one of my drinks which I could see sitting on the bar, restaurant in disrepair (ceiling tile fell in when it started to rain), food was mediocre. We will not be coming back.

Service was great! But I cant eat the service. A group of 6 went there last Friday for their Bar Bites Happy Hour which consists of appetizers for $2.95 M-F...seeing as their affiliated with Brio and Brio's amazing I was excited! Started with a glass of their Moscato which was delicious! And that's where it ended. What I had: **Flatbread Roma: Roasted Roma tomatoes, Mozzarella di Bufula and basil atop savory pizza sauce and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil -Basically a thin orange flat bread with little to no cheese and the tomatoes were'nt roasted enough so they squirted in my mouth... I was grossed out, returned it and the manager let me know it was made incorrectly...server said the same thing when I returned it, said it "didnt look right", so why bring it out to me?? **Crispy Shrimp Napoli: Shrimp fried to a golden crisp with green onions and our savory lemon butter, charred tomato Napoli sauce -Battered fried shrimp in sauce..a bit greasy but not bad, nothing to come back for. **Bruschetta with Mushrooms & Boursin: Topped with melted Provolone, sautéed portobellos, caramelized onions, crushed red pepper, tomatoes and Boursin cheese -all of that on top of hard bruschetta...I ended up just eating the toppings since the bruschetta was so hard. So yeah...Not going back. Nice place, nice people, but the foods not for me.

I like BRAVO. I have been there numerous times with groups of all sizes. I have to compliment their ability to handle large groups. When Olive Garden has told us they will not take a reservation or guarantee being able to accommodate a large group, BRAVO has been more than willing to take our groups of 8-15 people. The staff has generally been attentive and efficient. The restaurant itself is comfortable. It is not overly pretentious, and has only a little bit of a "chain restaurant" feel. The noise level is not crazy, but it is also not quiet. With the decline and change of ownership of nearby Cariera's, BRAVO is, in my opinion, the best choice for good, unpretentious, comfortable Italian dining in the Dr. Phillips/Restaurant Row area. The food is good, and very well portioned. The Misto salad is one of my favorites. Additionally, the Mushroom Bruschetta is a must have. I don't even like mushrooms, but I could make a meal of the Bruschetta. Spaghetti and Meatballs is a good standby. The tomato sauce is tasty and the pasta cooked just right. The Chicken Parmesan is also quite good, and more than filling. On a recent visit, one of my companions tried the Chicken Scaloppini. Wow! Great dish. Of course anytime you put something in a lemon butter caper sauce, it's tough to mess up. Shrimp fra Diavolo was good, but I've had better. The lemon chicken and rosemary shrimp was also tasty. In addition to the dine in option, Bravo also does take out. They have a couple parking spots reserved for takeout and do a good job of getting your meal out to your car. If you don't feel like eating in, the takeout choice is a good option. The restaurant is also accommodating for kids. They have a good kids menu and always do a good job of keeping the little ones occupied and happy. Their kids' pizza is quite large and will leave you at least a couple slices to take home. BRAVO is fast becoming my go-to comfortable Italian restaurant in the Dr. Phillips area. I recommend it to friends and so far, none have been disappointed.

Bravo - it is a chain! Atmosphere - exactly like the other Bravos - Nice decor, makes you feel like you are eating out somewhere more expensive than you are. Food - this time I had the Chicken Scallopini, it was good, chicken was tender, had a nice zing portion was average sized. Coffee was good (yes!), Sangria Rosa could have been a tad stronger. Bar was backed up too so drinks took awhile to get. Fellow diners found their food to be average, lasagna noodles overcooked, nothing to rave about. Staff - They were able to roll with the smart asses I was dining with yet still be professional. Cost - on the higher end. But if you are easy on the drinks and stick to just entrees it is not too bad.

On 03/03/2015, I invited my family & friends to dinner at your restaurant on Via Dellagio way to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, we had the worst experience ever. Although I am trying to remember the good things, it is very hard for me & my family to do. Although the restaurant wasn't full, the attention & service were absent. We asked for the kids menu, the server said she would bring them. She did about 15 minutes later. The drinks were not refilled till we asked her to. We were never asked if we wanted any appetizers. I had to ask about that. The server took the order & disappeared. Since we needed drink refills, I walked up to one of the employees asked him to call our server for us. He did & she came with a negative & grumpy attitude. When the food came out, two of my guests didn't get their food. It only came out when the rest of the party was almost done eating. The dirty appetizer plates & empty glasses were never picked up . At that point, I asked to speak to the manager on duty. She came & I explained what happened. She apologized but didn't seem to care too much. She didn't even offer any guest recovery. The server continued with her grumpy attitude. Some of my guests had left overs but were not offered a box. Only the ones that asked got them. I ended up paying the full bill of $292.83 with tip for the worst restaurant experience ever.

slow service mediocre food I guess Orlando people don't know what real Italian food is so they look at the décor and tell themselves it is Italian food

A great place for a date or happy hour. Happy hour offers $5 drink specials and a great bar menu. We had a few drinks that were perfect. We than split several apps. We had the flatbread pizza, shrimp eggplant and a salad. They also have a great size pizza on the children's menu.

We went to BRAVO! for a birthday party and were initially impressed with the fancy mediterranean decor and atmosphere. Once we looked at the menu, the prices seemed a wee bit too high for a family restaurant. Who wants to pay $10 for a glass of red wine (which only costs $12/bottle at Publix) while sitting next to a table with a Boy Scout troop leader & all his scouts? Wine aside, the food was hit or miss. The bread with the sundried tomato olive oil starter was delicious. My eggplant parmesan was amazing & a pretty good value for the $13 pricetag, but my husband was underwhelmed with the mediterranean pasta (too liquidy and no flavor) which cost him $14. The birthday girl was brought an ice cream parfait which looked pretty good and a nice change up from the usual cupcake. All in all, it was a fun night out but not memorable enough to bring us back again.

The atmosphere and decor a triumph. I really enjoyed this restaurant and I think my chicken in the chicken parm was just right, light breading crisp and moist loved it. Service was on the money, would definitely return.

I went to Bravo with a group of friends after work on a Friday evening. We were seated right away and had a good server. The food was just OK. I have no complaints everything was just OK..nothing special to me.

We went here after reading good reviews about food taste and portion size. The food was tasty but the portion size was just average (and was sometimes small) for the price, which was a little expensive for me. Now, we are in a vacation destination town and I think the prices are relative versus what you are used to at home. For example, two of us had glasses of wine. The glasses were normal glass size about half full. This is a normal pour, especially if you enjoy the proper wine tasting routine. But, for the price, I expected more and would get more at most restaurants. I had a bowl of the lobster bisque. It was tasty but was on the small side for the price (I think $5.50 when we went). Other diners at my table had the eggplant parm, the chicken parm, and the lasagna. Each enjoyed his or her meal. We split an apple foldover and a chocolate chip pudding at the end. By far, we recommend the apple dessert. We only at about half of the chocolate chip pudding (which is saying my sweet tooth). Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. It was early in the week so the restaurant was only about 1/3 full. Overall, it was ok.

We first spotted Bravo while driving down Sand lake and noted the outside patio, which is the reason we were intrigued to begin with. After scouting out their lunch menu we decided to give it a try. I had never heard of Bravo before but soon learned it is a chain and a sister restaurant to Brio, but perhaps a little more casual. Service was very friendly and our server was not only cute as a button but very attentive. Perfect Service. We had decided to sit outside and you know the view isn't the greatest unless you aren't from Orlando. It's just a view of Sandlake road. Funny how such a great location on Sand lake road would make for such a mediocre view. I have no idea if it's any better at sunset, or at dinner but the weather is nice enough right now to make it decent. The first thing that arrived was the bread with their olive oil and sun dried tomato dipping sauce. The bread was good, fluffy and pipping hot and the dipping sauce was a bonus. They have a seasonal lunch menu. I was actually thinking about trying one of their pizzas until I saw the seasonal menu and decided that the Pasta Yandolino which was a signature dish of theirs would be better. Then I did something I shouldn't have done I ordered the lobster Bisque Soup. Not because it was bad but because it was filling and I should have ordered a salad. I would have liked a smaller bowl with a little more lobster chunks that wasn't so filling. My main entree, The Pasta Yandolino was chicken and rigatoni with mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, feta cheese and pesto bread crumbs on top in a light buttery chicken broth. The rigatoni was cooked al dente, the chicken was moist and done well. The sauce is very light and delicate. The biggest problem was too much rigatoni. Why do American chain restaurants have to make their dishes so large? Large does not equal greatness. There wasn't enough sauce to cover the dish and the sauce was so light that the balance was off. A signature dish needs to really go for it and be amazing and this fell short and flat. Maybe I should have gone with the pizza.

Tasty food, reasonable price, super friendly staff, great layout, and a small mixup was corrected in a big way by the totally professional and discreet manager. Customer service matters and BRAVO proved it. Lasagna matters too. Ditto.

A typical chain restaurant which I try to stay away from but when in Orlando, there isn't much else. The food was good, the service was good...really nothing to complain about except that it is a chain restaurant. For good solid food, this is the place to go.

This restaurant is absolutely delicious!! My colleague and I came here for dinner to celebrate a successful day at work and we were both very impressed. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious and we were VERY surprised by how low our bill was since we had salads, entrees, drinks and desserts.. yes, DESSERTS! I can't wait to travel to Orlando again so I can eat at this delicious restaurant!

3.5/5 stars for Bravo! Bravo! is located on restaurant row on Sand Lake Road. The building towers over Sand Lake with a 20 foot "Bravo!" sign screaming at you, you can't miss it. I visited with a group of friends for Magical Dining month. For $20 we got huge portions of select apps, entrees and desserts. I ordered the bruschetta which was WAY overpowering in the onion/garlic department, and I love garlic! I tried the calamari which was a bit overcooked and chewy. The flatbread was the best of the apps we tried with a nice helping of tomatoes, mozzarella and basil sprinkled over top. I ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavalo Campanelle (minus the spice) as my entree and loved it. It was flavorful and creamy and a huge portion- so much I had to take half home. I sampled the Spaghettini and meatballs and although good, I was glad I had ordered my dish. For dessert I had the creme brulee which had a good flavor and consistency but the sugar crust was overcooked and tasted a tad burnt. Service was prompt but not over the top. The restaurant is nice inside and reminds me exactly of Brio in looks and taste.

The food was below average. The manicotti was dry and crispy / not supposed to be like this. The main issue was the service. It was close to not existing. No refills, no attention. We told the staff it was our son's birthday, and they did not even say congrats: "Ok, do you know what you want." Sad, and we will not come back.

For some reason the first five times that we went to BRAVO it was raining. I know that we live in Florida so that shouldn't be a surprise but our rain is usually in the afternoon and not at around 6pm. Because of this, it's almost become a pavlovian response for me if it is raining when I come home from work to desire a nice meal at one of my favorite Italian restaurant in the Orlando area. We have been there on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. I can't even say that I have favorite meal since I have tried many things on their menu and have liked them all. And best of all, the price is right. The atmosphere, service and food are 3 $'s but the price is 2 $'s.

I saw the sign promoting the 3 course menu. hey why not I haven't been to Bravos since they first opened back in '09 and remembered the flat breads were stellar. After I dodge the overgrown tree in the front entrance I glanced at Roman columns inside. I could see some mildew growing by one of them I guess they are really going for the ancient look. The prix fixe menu should have been called the tour of ruins of Pompeii, the forgotten city; The gazpacho had chunks of onions as big as Sheneneh Jenkins' fingernails, the balsamic glazed grilled chicken remind it me of a cruise food buffet, the chocolate cake was good semi melted scoop of ice cream. and on top of that the non-HD TVs at the bar it's a disgrace well I don't really care about the TVs. The service is decent but left me wondering. What happened Bravo? you need to step up the game you are at restaurant row not I-drive.

Please excuse my yawn. Another Italian chain has come to Orlando. From the folks who brought us the pedestrian Brio Tuscan Grille comes the equally pedestrian Bravo! Cucina Italiano, located in the beautiful Via Dellagio complex on Sand Lake's restaurant row. Much like Brio, Bravo! is spacious and attractive, as was my waiter. Correction: My waiter wasn't spacious, just attractive. The hot bread was good. I ordered an appetizer from the seasonal menu, spicy feta dip with pane al forno. What is up with appetizers these days? An appetizer is supposed to stimulate the desire to eat, not fatten you up for the kill! This appetizer was dinner for two. I think from this day forward I'll save a few bucks and skip the apps. I had the specialty of the house, Pasta BRAVO! as the menu shouted. Rigatoni and chicken -- not so special. With wine and tip, sixty bucks went right up in smoke. I won't be braking for this pedestrian again.

One star for service and three stars for food. We were sitting on the patio this time. I could not stop thinking what all the waiters were doing as service was non-existing. Every time, we need something, it took very long time to get someone's attention. Food was of good quality but it just had no taste at all. Maybe, the kitchen had no seasonings that day. I will not return.

Why I don't eat at chain restaurants. The server was annoyingly clingy (he had a discussion about good local neighborhoods to live in while we were eating), and the food was mediocre at best. The bread tasted as though it was thawed then baked, never a good sign. My lobster ravioli had hard lumps in it, and the shrimp and scallops it came with were very overcooked and rubbery. The only reason they get two stars is that the family seemed happy. I was not.

This restaurant was great! The food was good not amazing but good quality Italian food and wood recommended to others, food came in large portions too! The food and drinks were fair priced for a tourist area, but the main reason why just "good" food got 5 stars was because the service and atmosphere were spectacular! Very helpful staff, would highly recommend this restaurant.

Bravo is absolutely delicious! So glad I now live literally 3 minutes from here it's definitely a place to go. For delicious food my family and I's bill comes out really cheap. Not to mention I have a 20% off hospitality card which easily knocks off $30 sometimes. Usually at restaurants I'll religiously only stick to one dish...at Bravo I've tended to try nearly all the pasta ones. I don't have an absolute favourite yet but the Pasta Woozie is one of my top at the moment. Another plus is the side ceaser salad and not to mention it's under $4!! In the fall it's lovely to sit outside when its cool, which is really relaxing. Definitely reccomend this place to anyone.

We decided to come here for Mother's day and bring my mom and family there. The restaurant was very nice and the staff in the front reception are were very welcoming. Unfortunately our waiter was not as nice. You could tell he was just there to do his job, nothing more. There was nothing exciting or any desire on his part to interact with us. We saw other waiters around and how people reacted to them and we just knew we were short changed. The food was good, however there were tons of flies flying around which made it very annoying. We brought the problem up to our waiter and all he could say was that it had been like that for weeks since the love bugs came down and there wasn't much they could do about it. One fly ended up in my food and I was unable to finish it due to how disgusted I was. Thankfully they took it off our bill. Food was great. I recommend the Mozzarella Ravioli appetizer and Cheesecake for dessert. The berry cake was too dense and not as good . Also their Sangria Rosa was very good. I may decide to try it again because the food was good. I just don't know how sanitary is for a retaurant to have flies flying around and not do anything about it. That would be what would hold me back from trying it again.

Bravo to Bravo! I must say I am biased, as I grew up in Pittsburgh where Bravo! was my favorite restaurant. Needless to say when I heard they put one in Orlando I was THRILLED and was not disappointed. The food is amazing...most of all, the environment is cozy, warm, slightly romantic, and classy. It's a GREAT night out with friends, family, or on a date. They serve you homemade bread and dipping sauce as soon as you arrive, and have a great wine menu. Every dish on their menu is amazing....I think I may have had all of them in my life time. You have to order a side salad...the Della Casa. It's the best salad ever. Mamma's lasagna is top notch too...oh I could go on. If you are considering going, you won't be disappointed. A GREAT place for a date.

I had the opportunity to have dinner with old friends who were in Orlando for a conference. We decided to try Bravo! because it was conveniently located and offered a menu that was within the business expense guidelines of their employer. We arrived at about 7pm on a Monday night and were pleasantly surprised to see the restaurant about 75% full--a very good sign. The atmosphere was lively but controlled and the decor suggested a desire to be an upscale but family friendly restaurant, which it seems to be (if the 2 year old working on his laptop at the next table was any indication). Our server was pleasant and reasonably attentive. There were a couple of gaps in service but that might have been as a result of one of our party showing up 45 minutes late and thus delaying us from ordering. I started with the Bravo Chopped Salad, a combination of chopped greens, cucumber, red onion, tomato, olives, Feta cheese and traditional Italian dressing. The vegetables were very fresh and still crisp to bite--a very welcome surprise. Unfortunately, the salad dressing was ladelled on far too thickly and that was a shame. The result reminded me of a salad from the 1970's. If the dressing had been more sparingly applied, the result would have been much better. Others at my table ordered a seasonal special--the mozzarella en carrotta (and forgive me if I have butchered the name of the dish-- and it was very well received. The server brought it to our table with the enthusiastic promise that it was "really tasty but there is nothing healthy about it!" That proved to be the case. Giant medallions of buffalo mozzarella which appeared to have been deep fried and then served with a marinara sauce. The ladies in our party devoured it with enthusiasm and gusto! The other gentleman in my party also ordered a salad, like me. Go figure! I followed my salad with a Pizza Di Prosciutto Cotto (Cooked thinly sliced herb-roasted ham, housemade pesto, Kalamata olives and Mozarella di Bufula) but asked that it be prepared with the ham (so, yes, I ordered a ham pizza without the ham). I was really happy with the pie that emerged from the kitchen. The pesto complemented the flavors of the pizza and merged beautifully with the olives and mozzarella. The crust, however, was the highlight. Thin and crispy without being brittle. It was one of the better pizzas that I have had in Florida (or anywhere south of the Mason-Dixon line). It also was not lost on me that pizzas are half price after 3pm on Mondays. That alone should be reason enough for everyone to visit Bravo next Monday! The rest of my party was similarly pleased with their entrees. The other gentleman very much enjoyed his Sicilian Pizza (Layered with sweet Italian sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, mushrooms, banana peppers, Mozzarella and Provolone) and the ladies agreed that they enjoyed respective orders of Grilled Chicken Marsala (Marinated chicken breast with mushroom Marsala wine sauce, Tuscan mashed potatoes and pan roasted green beans) and Grilled Chicken And Shrimp Scampi Pasta (with garlic, asparagus and tomatoes tossed with angel hair pasta in our white wine lemon sauce). So why does Bravo merit only four stars? Truth be told, I would have given 3.5 stars if half stars were an option. The decor and ambience are both excellent, and certainly a cut above Carabbas or other similarly positioned Italian restaurants. The food is good--my pizza in particular--but it is not the best Italian food that I have had. At the same time, many of the dishes that I saw emerge from the kitchen had less presentation-appeal that I would have liked and the menu itself is too dependent on heavier foods. Despite my concerns about the menu and some of the dishes I saw, I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at Bravo. I'll be back; of that I am certain.

Beautiful decor in this place, reasonable prices, the portions are generous and we had good service. We had a caesar salad (ask for the dressing on the side...) and insalada mista (both fresh), then we both had the chicken parmesan with pasta. Tender and well cooked. FYI: It arrived with a quarter size bit of mozzarella on top of the chicken? When we asked our very gracious waitress, she said their version didn't use much cheeze on top. (not a problem at all, but not what I'm used to in other restaurants with veal or chicken parm) They have an outside dining patio area BUT it's right next to a noisy, busy highway?????? (Who designed this place?) .....missed opportunity since there's a beautiful row of palm trees beside the restaurant that would have been the ideal location for this dining patio. (Hey Bravo..... how about putting that open kitchen next to the highway... and let the patrons see the palm trees (instead of the highways) while they're dining outside...........) All of this considered, we really enjoyed our dining experience, we 'll definitely go back again and I recommend it! (highway patio aside (grin)

We had a very enjoyable experience despite a few bumps. We went on a friday night and there was a 45 minute wait to get in. The food was delicious though, and the portions huge. The fresh (and warm) bread was nice, and they had no problem bringing a few refills. We mentioned that we'd be sharing a dish and they did the work of splitting and creating two plates ahead of time. The only downside was the chicken was smaller, but seemed cooked as long as the whole portion, so it was a little dry. The shrimp appetizer was near-perfect, and although it seemed pricy at $12 for ~12 shrimp, it was the best dish of the night. The service on the night we went was on the slow side though. Throughout the meal and after we were waiting for the host for long stretches of time. The entire dining area is one large room (aside from patio seating) so it does get somewhat loud. We were still able to hear each other at a medium sized table without shouting, but it was close. Overall I thought the food quality was great, with everyone agreeing on that, but the service could use a bit more attention. The manager did stop by our table on the way out and offer a free appetizer/dessert for next time, although I think we'd be going back even without it -- just on a less busy night.

The food was great. The atmosphere was really nice. Awesome wine list. Indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor and outdoor bar. I really enjoyed my meal the two times that I've been. Once on the outside patio and once at the inside bar. Keeping the restaurant from getting a five star rating would be the service. I will return to this restaurant and hopefully the service problem will be resolved.

Awesome Happy Hour all appetisers half off from 4 -7pm. The shrimp, calamari, meatball sliders with fries are all delicious. f you make it there before 6 on Monday-Thursday you can also get a bottle for wine for half price. You can't beat $12 bottles. They also have drink specials during happy hour. I drove by recently and say they now have a late happy hour from 9 -close. The only draw backs are you have to sit at the bar and watch some desperate single 50 year olds try to flirt with younger men.

We went to Bravo on Saturday night to see what the Sand Lake Cucina had to offer. First thing I have to say is that the prices are great! I could not find a glass of wine over $10 and you could have a great meal for $15 or less, the Ceaser was even $3.99 (by itself). The service was standard fare and the entire experience, even the food, seemed to be just right, but nothing like wow. Not that I need a wow, but I could not put my finger on anything to quite kick it up to a four star, while I wanted to. I could specifically pick out multiple things that they did what where items of things that others did, which made the whole experience awkwardly familiar, like dating someone who wears the same perfume.... For example, the menu (layout/font) and decor, where incredibly similar to Brio. One thing that I like and have only seen at Seasons 52, was the petite desert selection. The bread service and a pasta dish called Pasta Woozie where like the Pasta Weezie and bread at Carrabas. I had the Chicken Marsala and the chicken was cooked perfect, but the Marsala sauce was average. That is the money shot for that dish, since the sauce, is the dish. The greens and mashed potatoes where also standard fare stuff and it takes a bit of attention to blow smoke around those dishes. The Ceaser was moderately good as well. As mentioned above, I did like the petite desert plate, the deserts were delicious and not so big that I felt monstrous leaving! The whole thing was put together incredibly well thought out and the ambiance is definitely indicative of a chain store. So if I could give 3.5 stars I would since I had a good experience and the pricing is great. Bravo - Bravo, work on the Marsala sauce and great job on the desert and wine selections, ill be back to update my review soon and look for that other .5 of a star.

My Husband and I started with a wonderful fresh mushroom n onion freshetta. The appetizer was followed by a nicely dressed green salad and a perfectly seasoned lobster bisque. The main courses were a melt in your mouth veal and a spicy fresh seafood pasta. The dessert I ordered cheesecake and my husband had chocolate bread pudding with vanilla bean gellato which was delicious and creamy. The waiters Darryl and Gary were both excellent providing excellent service and good food recommendations from the menus. I highly recommend this restaurant, the food is excellent and fresh, and we will be going back again to try other items on the menu. Date of Visit 12/16/2011 7:30pm to 9:00pm

Only went to Bravo because I got a coupon for a free appetizer. I'm a sucker for a good coupon. Anyway, service was prompt and friendly. The calamari appetizer was hit or miss... Some of it was crispy and delicious, some of it was soggy. But hey, it was free. I had risotto which was probably one of the best risottos I've had in a restaurant. It laid out on the plate like it's supposed to, not stand up all stiff like. It wasn't great but it wasn't terrible. We'll give it another try and make a final decision on Bravo after that.

Perhaps we had an off day at Bravo. We went for an early dinner - we noticed appetizers were 50% off so we ordered the Fried Ravioli and 2 pasta entrees for dinner. Our server was training someone else so our service was NOT at the level it should have been. Our entrees came before the app, had to ask for our drink refills multiple times, bread was promised then never delivered even when they were reminded. Food was OK - the non-discounted 9.99 price for 8 fried raviolis is a bit over the top and the pasta had Carabbas prices with Olive Garden flavor (not a good thing in my book). Then the check comes and the Ravioli was not discounted - in their defense they ended up comping the ravioli since it was not delivered on times, etc but still was annoying to have to ask about a discount that was promised on flyers, in restaurant and verbally. Overall I just was not that impressed - there are a TON of Italian options in the area that are in that price range or less and have much better food.

Good atmsophere, nice server, but my dish was a bit too spicy. If I have a better dish next time, I'll give an extra star. The lobster bisque was excellent. I love this new plaza, even if it did open at an unfortunate economic turn. The plaza needs a draw, and there's no entertainment.

Upscale decor, but no explanation why the faux beams are missing middle portions. I had Eggplant Parmesan--it was terrible. About 80% breading and 20% eggplant. Breading was soaked in oil. Picked off the breading & could barely taste the eggplant. Wife was mad that I didn't send it back. Wife's Lobster Bisque was too thick. Her salad was edible. Bread was excellent-- only thing worth taking home.

As soon as I walked in I was very impressed by the decor & friendly staff. I went in with a large group (about 10) & I feel our waitress did a great job keeping drinks filled & service was fast. I had never heard of this place & judging by the decor, I was expecting prices to be high, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that everything on the menu was priced very reasonably. I ordered a Caesar salad, mozzarella flat bread & a white pear sangria drink; all of that with tip came to about $25. The food wasn't bad, but no memorable.

I'm sad to see only 3 stars overall for this place. This is a really wonderful Italian place, I can directly compare it to my favorite expensive Italian restaurant. Great service, decor (the inside and the patio are amazing!), and great food. I can't complain about anything. I even left my camera there, and the mailed it to me in Chicago free of charge! I love this place and I'm definitely going back when I visit Orlando next.

Friendly service. Not necessarily fast service, even a little on what I'd consider the slow side. But super friendly, which makes for a more enjoyable experience. Outdoor seating is great, but the chairs at the outdoor tables are uncomfortable. They need to replace those poorly designed chairs! Classy but family friendly. In fact, they have one of the best kids menus in town. Lots of choices for kids to choose from instead of the typical 4-5 choices. One note of caution, the kids portions are huge, not much smaller than a typical adult portion, just a great price, so if you have kids that can agree, you could get them one kids dinner to share, or plan to go home with leftovers, which is sometimes just as good! Kids get crayons to draw, a menu with activities and on request, real pizza dough for the kids to play with while they wait. Herb bread and sun dried tomato dipping oil is the best! Entree salads are great as well as the pasta dishes, and I really enjoy the Eggplant Parmesan. I once tried the salmon and wasn't impressed. The lemon butter caper sauce and pesto breadcrumbs were scrumptious, but the cut of fish itself was not good at all, and it seemed overcooked too. That was the first time I've ever disliked something about their food. Just a note, Sunday Brunch is excellent. I've been there twice for brunch and the food is delicious. The crab and artichoke Benedict was surprisingly delicious. I guess not a lot of people realize they have Sunday brunch because the place was dead. But for some reason, both times I went, service was slow. Very slow. How can it be that slow when no one else was there? Although we were with a big party of 12, but still, there may have only been about 10 other people in the whole restaurant. But to be fair, the waiter brought us out 3 free appetizers to make up for the wait while we waited. Food was great though and no wait to be seated, a nice change from your typical Dr Phillips sunday brunch places.

When this place gets serious about what it's serving, I might consider it again. Service was slow and completely unresponsive. We came early to avoid the rush, 2 other tables in the place filled, 6 chefs, 12 waitery staff, I watched our plates sit under the lamp for at least 25 minutes. When the food arrived, everything was cold. Our waitress finally returned after 15 minutes to see if everything was ok. They did make us brand new plates rather quickly, the heat was perfect, but now the flavor was gone. For triple the cost of Olive Garden (which I despise as well), I expect more out of a restaurant, they're obviously paying off the opera duo that sound checked at 110db (the Who holds the record at 117db, this was a close second), and the decor. There's a mom and pop Italian joint across the street in the strip mall that we will continue to give our business.

I love this place, excellent vibe for a date or lunch with a client or business partner, especially if you want to woo them with your excellent taste in italian restaurants. Ive had the flatbreads and the Chicken Parm, both of which were tasty however this chicken parm has won my heart with its exceptional flavor, crispiness and sauce. I don't usually order chicken parm because its so played out and usually for that reason its hard to just find a good one, but my friend I tell you, Bravo does it right, probably one of the best chicken parms if not the best that I have ever had! MUST TRY!

Let's see. Where to start? I've been eating at Bravo (9+ times) since they opened in the Dr. Phillips area and ever since then, I've been lovin' it. Location is always lovely, they recently built the Dellagio plaza with a very classy touch directly across from Vizcaya. I love the waterfront and the small boutiques surrounding Bravo. The only thing that bothers me a tad bit would be the BRAVO sign (I'm a graphic designer). It doesn't follow through with the excellent old-town Italian column decor!! Besides the sign, everything is absolutely fabulous. Dinner for two would cost an average of $50, depending on how much room you've made in your stomach. Service is quick, fast and efficient. The waiters & waitresses are friendly and make you feel at home. Sometimes you'll get into a rough spot on a really, really busy night with a busy waiter/waitress. This is to be expected, so try to be in their shoes! Patience is a virtue but there is a certain limit, so if you DO feel that you've been waiting for a while. Don't be afraid to voice your complaint to the manager. This tip is reliable in any restaurant. (: A few of my favourite dishes (and must tries!) are: - Crispy Shrimp Napoli ($11.99): A definite must! The crispy shrimp was flavorful with just the right amount of Napoli sauce. - Calamari Fritti ($9.99): This is an alright dish, a simple Fried Calamari dish. Nothing too different or special. - Soup del Giorno: Depending on which day you visit, their soups are different for each day of the week and made fresh to serve. We've only tried Italian Wedding. - Caesar Classico ($3.99): The best way to start off a meal with something light but tasty. This would almost fall into the category of Ruth's Chris Salads... almost... - Spaghettini Bolognese ($11.99): A extremely saucy dish and delightful to consume. The sweet taste of the tomatoes lingers on your tongue even after you've left the restaurant. - Spaghettini & Meatballs en Sugo ($12.99): If you want a classic dish in a well-made Italian cuisine restaurant, i recommend this one. Really hearty and fulfilling. The meatballs are flavorful, soft and juicy (in comparison to the hard rocks they serve to you at Carrabba's / Olive Garden [ew]). Finally, for dessert, why not end the night with something spectacular? I recommend you go for the "Torta di Cioccolata." ($5.99). Absolutely delicious, decadent and MIND BLOWING. A chocolate lovers paradise i would say.... Warm chocolate cake with italian vanilla ice cream. Mmmmm. I'll be back for more at Bravo. (:

I have dined at Bravo numerous times for brunch, lunch and dinner. I really like this restaurant. The service is always friendly and prompt. The decor is pleasant although a tad overdone(fake columns). I have several favorites among the menu offerings-for brunch,I love the Bistecca Benedict(beef medallions, poached eggs on a parmesan encrusted fried red tomato),the Lobster Bisque(thick and with an ample amount of crabmeat) and the Tuscan Grilled Chicken Sandwich(a wonderful focaccia sandwich with green onion mayo and spicy Tuscan slaw and a green side salad with Gorgonzola and a nice balsamic dressing). The traditional Italian dishes are also very good. They also have(as do most of the Dellagio restaurants) a nightly happy hour with good appetizer and drink specials. Dining on the terrace is very pleasant even though the view is only of Sand Lake Road. This is my go-to place. I know whatever I order is going to be good and I won't leave hungry.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
