Have eaten breakfast here for years. Their omelette are good and portions are filling. Nothing to particularly rave about. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Don't like their bacon though.

The Diner has been feedin' me and some of my friends for years and years. We just call it The Diner--it's a place where locals see each other: I have sent my business to locals who eat at the diner, because it's a community there--right? Every now and then, I meet friends at The Diner who are always amazed at the generous portions. It's unpretentious food, and it says so: Home Cookin'. Nonetheless, for awhile I had a steady hankering for Eggs Benedict; I kept askin for it, and now it's on the weekend menu. How much better can it get than that? i do remember the year of the Five Big Storms in the space of some six weeks. The first time, i was without powere for about nine days. After a few days, we were sittin' in The Diner and it was so wonderful to have simple hot food. Another year, I broke the bone in my heel and was on crutches for months. Everyone was so kind to me at The Diner--no one grumbled when one of the Lovely Ladies of the Serving staff waited with full arms of food while I shuffled my crutches through the intimate dining room. I got to see the inherent kindness of the owner, John, and of all sorts of folks who are regulars at The Diner. People in town make fun of us Forest people, but The Diner shows what a true community establishment is--a place where everyone knows your name and folks are ready to laugh at your jokes. I have seen a couple of local babies turn into big kids over the years, and it's always great to catch up with folks when we all know how life can get so busy. I have seen the local trail riders tie their horses to trees and come in for lunch before they head out to ride the levee. I have seen groups of folks who take their weekend motorcycle rides have The Diner as their meet-up place. I have eaten at the diner in business attire, in riding clothes, in cut-off shorts after a morning's hard work--every time there's always a welcome and steady quality of food. I will always hold The Diner (Eddie and Rena, Sue-Sue,Donna, Sherri, Rose,John and Debbie) forever as pillars of our community

Terrific diner! Service is fast, very friendly, very attentive, and the food is delicious. I was there with a friend for breakfast so I didn't have pie for breakfast, but boy, did the pie look good. (See photos). My breakfast of eggs, grits and biscuits was just as I requested, and the biscuits are huge! Of course I didn't want to waste anything, so the size of that big ole biscuit did not daunt me! Actually, neither of us left anything on our plates when we were finished! Prices are very reasonable, and the whole experience is well worth whatever it takes to get there.

Can be a huge challenge finding a seat. Their breakfast is great, lunch and dinner are good. Service is very attentive. Living only a mile away it's not too much of a disappointment if we arrive and they are packed. However, if your driving any distance be ready for a lengthy wait for a seat. My rating of 3 stars puts this place at average. No reason to go out of your way to visit however it's old school / Mom & Pop dining.

Very good breakfast stop on the motorcycle! Food is good and lots of it! Gets a little crowded on weekend mornings but it move people pretty quick usually.

Only ate at Williams Landing for lunch so I can't attest to the actual dinner menu, but the food was bad. Trying to pass off catfish as grouper!

Great little diner! Location is good for both bikers and bicycles wanting to ride through the Ocala National Forest. Wait staff is quick and great memory for you and your order. Food is fresh including homemade biscuits. It's what a diner should be: clean, good food and good people.
