We've been going to this delectable little sushi place for a long time. When we first found it tucked away in the corner of a little used plaza, we dubbed it Random Sushi Place. However, despite the randomness of our discovery, we have found that RSP does not disappoint. Every time that we return it seems to have improved; this time was no different. We devoured the pink dragon sushi roll and the komango roll along with the crab rangoon and cheesecake tempura. We were very impressed by the edible arrangements and their Christmas decorations were on point. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND

Had another great Thai meal last night with visitors from Miami who eat "out" most of the time. They thanked us for our choice of restaurants and said they thought the dinner was excellent as was the service by Dy!

It's been awhile since I changed jobs and no longer take business clients here. So we stopped by tonight and hoped things haven't changed because it was always good before. We were not disappointed. Although we missed Happy hour, $5 appetizers and cheaply priced cool drinks like Sake Mojitos, we were still delighted. Food was fresh, service excellent, good portions for dinner. Too many choices made it hard to select, took us awhile but even longer when you see the dessert menu. Great place for gluten free peeps, vegetarians and of course the typical All American meat eater. Scoop: They will open another place next year in North Naples, on the corner of Immokalee and Goodlette. See you there!

While visiting the Naples Grand which we do very often, we decided to do a search on sushi restaurants. This restaurant was convientally close and the only one that remained open until 11pm. When arriving at the restaurant we were very concerned that only a few cars were in the parking lot so early. Are we going to be the only couple in there? We questioned ourselves. We were there so no point in leaving at this point. To our surprise there were a few people dining. We were sited immediately. The waiter had zero character, no personality. We were not asked if we wanted anything to drink, or if we were interested in hearing the specials. My husband even had to start our order since we were not asked that as well. Our impression was we are not going to have a good experience with the rolls. To our surprise the rolls were amazing. If you are going to try anything the green dragon roll was to die for. We ordered 4 rolls in total. When were finished we looked up to see at 10:15 they were already closing and even shut down the sushi bar. Without even asking if we were going to order anything additional. After the rolls came our waiter disappeared and we were now being attended by some other waitress. Again we were not asked if we needed anything else. My husband joked to the staff about "so no more orders for rolls". The waitress smiled and laughed. Although the service was horrible the food was decent and because of this I would definitely come again. They do need training with their staff!!!

My boyfriend and I have been going to different Thai places around the area since we loved a place in Tampa. We stumbled on this place by a few recommendations. Absolutely amazing thai food! We had the thai iced tea, Tom kha soup, thai spring rolls, and massaman curry. It was absolutely delicious and I say pretty authentic from what I've experienced in the few thai places I've been too. We split the curry since their portion sizes are huge like every thai restaurant, and I will say it is pricey but definitely worth it. Make sure you call ahead of time since the place was smack full with reservations. We sat at the bar which was perfectly fine for a last minute decision on dinner. Great atmosphere, beautiful dining area, and polite servers. The music was a little loud because of a small live band that was playing but it was amusing. They will continue to get our service and I don't think we will try any other thai restaurant in naples.

Delicious food, beautiful decoration, excellent service! Prices are not bad at all! I would recommend this place to all my friends. The best tuna Tataki I have ever had! Love it!

Had the dynamite roll which was boring Compared to most dynamite rolls which have hot seafood on top..ceviche was pretty good though could of been led spicy and more line...Spring rolls ok and the happy hour beer good price

Well, the free spring rolls for checking in are a bonus. For a summers eve in late July, there were quite a few folks in there.. We sat at the bar which was slightly uncomfortable, yet when the groovy lounge tunes started up, everything was all right..

Gross stuff. If your looking for your standard sushi and Thai place in Naples go to Sushi Thai instead. All the sushi at Komoon that says "crabmeat" is actually the imitation krab. So it's very misleading. also the causa rellena was absolutely terrible. It was basically powdered mashed potatoes and chicken or seafood mayo salad you would buy at Costco. And very unflavorful. Service wasn't good either. Save your time and money and explore other great restaurants in Naples.

Komoon is a quiet, tasteful and low-key spot serving some of the best Thai, Sushi and exotic Peruvian cuisine in Naples. They're well established and consistently excellent. If you are looking for a party atmosphere, try Komoon on a Wednesday night. Every Wednesday includes free live music by local Latin impresario "Gato"! Lot's of fun including dance and songs by request. Enjoy!

Thai, Japanese, Peruvian. Wow. Three of my most favorite cuisines all in one place. I tried a mini-sushi/sashimi boat and it was beautiful and delicious. I also had the happy hour special $5 crab rangoon and it too was delicious. I ordered a small salad that had a ginger dressing on it ... delicious. Chicha morada... delicious. I joined their reward program while I was sitting there, and because it was my birthday I also got a free dessert. They were out of flan?!? Boo. So I ordered the chocolate cake. It was chewy and oldish I think, but I ate it anyway, and it came on a plate that they wrote "Happy Birthday" in chocolate sauce... Nice! The waitress was great, and they were gearing up for entertainment that evening. I liked the atmosphere and colors, and I also liked the mushroom jazz music. I can't wait to go back and explore the menu some more.

Sushi dinner and dancing? Yes, you heard it right! Apparently every Wednesday this placed is hoppin with some regulars who come not only to enjoy their dinner but also to dance! Their sushi/sashimi was fresh, the band was extremely talented and played a huge variety of music, people watching was fantastic, and people were friendly. The after dinner dancing was icing on the cake. Fun times.

Recommended! Before moving to FL I had never heard of a Thai place that serves sushi. In Chicago if you went for Sushi, there were Japanese making it, and usually a Japanese restaurant. Most of the sushi places here in Naples seem to be tied to Thai food. I have found most of these to be quite tasteless sushi. Komoon was one of the better Thai sushi that I have had down here. The flavors and specialty rolls were really good, and the portion sizes were big. We ordered several specialty rolls that had tuna or salmon, and I was surprised how much we actually got. On top of that, this had a great atmosphere. We walked in and there was a 1 man band playing music. It was very lively there. I would go back!

Today I called the restaurant and spoke to one of the owners Paul on the the telephone. It was my first time ordering food due to being a new resident of Florida. Technically the restaurant does not do deliveries after a certain distance, but he went out of his way to do so due to a friend of mine who wasn't feeling well. This was exceptional customer service, as well as delicious Sushi. I will certainly be a frequent customer as of today. Thank You Nikki B

The Hawaiian Sushi Roll is AMAZING! This place is a true hidden gem of a restaurant and the owner is such a humble person. We enjoyed having her sit at our table and chat. We Highly Recommend this restaurant!

What a great experience. The service was friendly and quick yet thorough. The food.....well let me tell you, I ordered a sushi\sashimi lunch special that blew me away. The fish was fresh and delicious. I can't wait to return.

I have been coming to this restaurant for several years, had birthday parties here, brought in so many clients. Tonight, we had a table of 8 outside- the supposed daughter of the owner was so incredibly rude to our party, that she had to be restrained by the staff and forced back into the restaurant as she was giving us the double middle finger. She threw all of the checks on our table and said that she was glad that we would never come back. They would not honor the buy one entree, get one half-price. We only asked that they honor this for one of the entrees, and we ordered 7. Despicable customer service and behavior. I cannot wait to destroy them, and their god awful wine list. They just lost a semi-large chunk of business tonight! Gross behavior.

Komoon is nicely tucked in the back corner of the Noodles Plaza on Pine Ridge; however, even with limited visibility, I've noticed that it hasn't been a hindrance to business. They have a great lunch menu with lots of options to choose from with an offering of $12.99 combos. I had their panang curry combo and had a red dragon roll. They didn't fight me when I asked for it burn your face off spicy, and the red dragon roll was uber yum. In the Naples world of many sushi places, I would put this on my top 5 list. Afternoon service tends to be hit or miss, but the food makes up for it. Their sushi is fresh, and their thai food is authentic. Next trip, Peruvian and a Yelp update.

I always have a great time at this little place. I love that they have many different types of food on the menu (peruvian, Japanese, Thai, sushi). The four friends roll is amazing :)

We went back this year and I'm afraid we will never go back. The waitress gave us the so cheap: rude at the beginning then suspiciously friendly when comes the time to tip. When I asked for the prices of drinks, she appeared surprised: "the price?," she said with a snob stance, before checking... As if I was such a loser to ask for that. This place was great, but service ruined it. I always wonder why they put unfriendly people to work with people. We also learned that a male waiter that used to work there had just quit. No wonder! To reflect on my previous review, I'd say that now... I understand why some people had bad experiences there...

Wonderful restaurant serving variety of Thai/Sushi food. Excellent wait staff. Very attractive setting. Not too spicy. We 'discovered' this restaurant by accident. We have also dined at 2-3 other Thai places in Naples and find this to be BEST. We have dined at both their locations and very happy with our choice.

My family and I went to eat here because of CEVICHE! Trying ceviche has been on my to-do list for awhile, so I pushed my family to go there. The atmosphere was decent, very modern/hip bar in style. Unfortunately for us, it was busy so we had to eat at the bar. The ceviche was decent, but it reminded me of the flavors of Chipotle. Unfortunately though, this was my first and only time eating ceviche so I am unsure if that is a good or bad thing. Sushi menu was very creative looking! I definitely was attracted to the rolls that were piled high on top with tuna. Taste was OKAY, presentation was beautiful!

Just came here a few days ago and the quality is probably one of the best in the SWFL area. However, the prices are just so high up there that I cannot give them a 5 star rating. While the quality was excellent, the rolls were "extremely" small compared to any other sushi restaurant I've dined at in the past. Our waiter was a very nice young kid and was attentive, polite, and very helpful. With our bill being just around $120.00 we will not dine here again, but worth at least once to try. Be prepared to pay a pretty penny for very small portions.

I stopped by for lunch. I ordered the lunch special which include a rol and an entree. I ordered the veggie roll and red curry with tofu and and rice. They were served together. The rolls had some sort of weird stuff on top of the cut roll. It looked like mush, had the consistency of rice and had very little taste. I scraped it off and ate the roll. After the check was presented I asked what that stuff was and was told shrimp and crab. WOW. I am vegetarian and have a good friend who is allergic to shrimp. I was appalled. This place is needs help.

Coming in I was both excited and a bit dubious. I read the reviews and as was fore-said: it was amazing. What made me waver about my choice of restaurant was the reviews to their other restaurant in Bonita. I don't know why the same restaurant received different reviews, both on opposite sides of the spectrum, but they did. I, as well as my family, enjoyed the experience over all. I've never had Peruvian food before and what was ordered was phenomenal. The sushi was on par with my favorite sushi restaurant- Origami. The service could be tightened a little, but that's just my opinion. Overall, a great first time experience and would definitely be back for the sushi and Peruvian food.

  • Roei A.

Food was good...prices outrageous for really really small portions ... Forgot to mention on yelp that They don't honor the yelp coupon unless you dine-in. Overall most likely not going to order again. And definitely not taking the company's partners and our families for dinner.

Great experience! We travel and eat sushi all over the country and I would put this place in the top 3. Service was good, food was amazing, overall an A+ experience. Menu was almost too big? Made picking our meal a little tricky since it all looked great.

  • Vonn P.

Even though the service was a little slow, the flavorful food made up for it. I especially liked the muscles appetizer. The Peruvian side of the menu is very good as well. I only had Saba sashimi from the bar and it was very tasty. I've been here a few times and I'd go back again.

I am generally a huge fan, frequenting often, yet tonight when I went taking my son for the first time, I was embarrassed at having suggested it. With reservations,.& only two tables occupied we were sat in the back hallway in a corner. After getting drinks it was a long wait to order, & I felt like a real bother asking questions about the menu. Sushi & main dish for me arrived together, yet the other order took another long wait to come out. Food was great as always but the lack of Dining feel was true turn off. Can I feel good about bringing people here? Staff needs an attitude adjustment. Serving requires servitude demeanor.

  • Courtney C.

Very tasty!! Sushi was excellent, as was the pad Thai. I'm not a curry fan but my dad cleaned his plate so I'm guessing the curry was good too! We arrived right at 6pm and they let us order from the happy hour menu. Only regret is only getting one order of crab Rangoon because they were fairly small. I would come back here for sushi or Thai!!

Tried to order online at 9:00PM on Saturday night for take out. I got all the way through process, credit card and then order was cancelled due to site having technical difficulties. So if you order online you get free Thai donuts which my kids wanted to try. I asked if they would honor that and they said no. So hopefully the rest of this gets better but nope. The food now was decent so no issues there. A few days later I check my bank statement and low and behold there are two charges for the exact same amount on the exact same day. So the online order failed but the credit card went through, I called today to ask for a manager and was told they are out of town for a few days and all they could do is take my name and number and have a manager call me later this week. Guess we will see how they handle this but I think this is my first and last attempt at dining with this establishment.

  • Randi J.

I really don't like leaving negative reviews but this place had the worst pad thai I've ever had. So I tried it two different occasions within a week just to see since pad thai is my favorite thai noodle dish. So bummed! I really would want to give it one star but the saving grace was the waitress was so sweet the first time and even tasted it and apologized. The 2nd time I had to send it back then sat and watched my kids eat. On a good note, they did like their steak teriyaki kids meals.

Service is okay, food not so much! A bit pricey for the quality. I'll stick to the best of the best, Sushi Thai!

  • Misha M.

I love this place and so does my family. We have been there probably 4 or 5 times. I like it so much, I've even taken my clients there for lunch. Awesome food, no matter what you get, but the sushi and teriyaki steak are my favorite so far!!!! They have these donuts for dessert that you dip in some kind of custard that is really good too. The service is always really good, super friendly and on the ball! You can go there from I think 4-6 for 5 dollar drinks and appetizers too. The also have a Yelp coupon...you should try it!!!! :-)

  • Kasha W.

The food continues to be good, however they increased all of their prices and made their dinner portions much much smaller. So, as a value based decision, i would suggest there may be some better Thai options in Naples... Also, they tightened up the seating areas (to fit in more people), so the entire dinner we had to listen to the tales of woe (buying a new boat) of the couple seated next to us. ick.

Great lunch destination! We ordered 2 thai items off the lunch menu, both surprisingly priced at $8.95 and accompanied by soups or salads. The salad was fresh, crisp and cold with a super zesty ginger dressing. The soup was good too. The pad prik king with beef was delicious. I ordered it thai hot and had a wonderful burning sensation in my mouth throughout the meal!!! Sauce was super flavorful and you could taste each ingredient mingling on the palate. The panang curry (medium heat) was not very thick but made up for it with incredible flavor, tender beef and fresh veggies. Portions were ample. Service was spot on and very efficient! Great atmosphere, great vibes. Can't wait to go back.

  • Tiara B.

I was excited to try this place for the first time with the good reviews. It had a cute ambience and the service was good, but the food.. The sauces were not very good. The spicey mayo was not a nice creamy consistency and seemed like too much sriracha was added. The yum yum roll looked amazing, but the seafood on top was very fishy. And the last straw was $15 for a large sake! The service was good, but we will not be back. I love Japanese food of quality, that is why I always go back to Sushi Thai!

    (3)
  • Margaret P.

Food was ok, but the portions were small. The sushi rolls were named after the usual a, like Spicy Tuna and Dynamite roll, but the looked and tasted completely different than any sushi I've ever had. Was still good, but not sure what it really was. I'd come again to give them another chance, the waitstaff was kind and courteous.

Love Komoon! Their Pad Thai is excellent, always cooked and seasoned to perfection! A bit pricey, but worth it.

Great restaurant. We had ceviche and sushi. Everything was well made and had a lovely presentation. The ingredients tasted fresh and the service was amicable. I would definitely suggest the ceviche mixto and the slamming salmon roll.

  • William L.

To go order:The sushi was actually spoiled. The conch was good. The fried rice was, well, fried rice. Almost $40 for very little food. I asked them 2 b sure eel sauce included & kept getting blown off by the server & I get home & no eel sauce. Skip this place.

Amazing rolls, incredible curry in a surprisingly casually chic nook, hidden in a hohum plaza. Don't miss it. Seriously- DO NOT. Also, being a Naples resident, I feel bad to say this but- be sure you don't mistake it for Noodles. -or else, your checkbook and taste buds will be thoroughly disappointed.

I don't give this place a negative rating because it's not possible, but this is by far the worse place I have ever eaten ceviche and sushi at. I went to Naples with my boyfriend for a relaxing anniversary weekend getaway. We got there Friday 04/18 around 8:30, checked into our hotel and then decided to go out and get dinner. We found Kamoon on yelp and since it has some pretty good review we decided to check it out, we were very tired so we ordered our food for take out but we had some drinks while we waited. We had the Lychee sake which is the only thing that was good from this place. For food we ordered, Shrimp Ceviche, Papa Huancaina, Kanisu roll, Volcano roll, Spicy Tuna roll, and spring rolls, out of all that food NOTHING WAS GOOD. To start, the shrimp ceviche was totally raw, I know that ceviche starts off raw and cooks in lime juice, but this shrimp was raw to the point that it was translucent and slimy on the inside and I've never had nor heard of shrimp being eaten that raw. The papa huancaina was hard and also under cooked, the kanisu was served with fish sauce instead of rice vinegar, the spicy tuna was so fishy that it was obvious that it was not fresh tuna, and the volcano roll and spring rolls were just not tasty but my boyfriend had a few of those just to try them. My boyfriend called Kamoon from the hotel and spoke to the manager, he said that apparently tons of people love eating raw shrimp but that if we went back the next day for dinner he would take care of us. We didn't care to go there for dinner again, was not about to waste any more time from our weekend eating bad, expensive food ( we spent $100.17). I would not recommend this place to anybody, eating raw fish is such a delicate thing the fish must be fresh and be prepared the right way, and this is definitely not the place for that.

We were driving back from Spring Hill and decided we wanted to have lunch in Naples. So we naturally went to yelp for a recommendation. We chose Komoon because it was relatively close to the highway and had good rating. Let me tell you it was a great chose! The moment I walked in I knew I was going to be in good hands. The place is very relaxing with beautiful decor. The moment you walk in the beautiful flower on the wall and the waterfall catches your eye. For food we decided on the pick two lunch menu. What a deal! You get soup or salad with sushi rolls and a option of cooked noddles. The amount of options was impressive. I chose the spicy tuna and the chicken pad thai and miso soup. It was a perfect portion and the sushi was fresh and high quality. My mom had the chicken noddle soup with the komoon plate. The presentation and quality was top notch. The next time I am in Naples I will be stopping by!

Small place inside of a little strip mall, but much nicer inside than expected with nice decor and a good vibe. Service was very good, food presentation is great, and we really enjoyed the few rolls we ordered. The happy hour is a great deal too!

I can see now why people complain about the service today... its sloppy. Unless you have a server that knows you it will be great, otherwise its bad. The food is excellent but, waiting for check while your server is eating on the back its not professional. At least sent someone to check on your table.... it really bothers me when I have to get up out of my table to ask for stuff. It makes it awkward for the guest..... please improve because this place is a gem.

Always a good choice, left sushi one to come here. Great Happy Hour on sushi rolls and will customize to your liking. Left sushi one to make this a fav spot. Good treatment as a local unlike sushi one.

Overall: Great sushi spot. The last time I was in Naples, I dined here with my mom and her boyfriend. I needed a sushi fix so they recommended this place and it did not disappoint. We got the sushi boat for three and it was huge. The boat featured a couple rolls, sashimi, and nigiri. I was stuffed to the gills with the delicious sushi. Next time I am in town I will definitely beback. Tip: If you check-in via Yelp you can get 10% off your bill.

So I was recently challenged to update my review of kamoon by Jacob L. From yelp since my one star experience because I have given kamoon another shot on three occasions since my very bad experience there two years ago. So Paul, you can thank Jacob L for this repost because I did not feel it necessary to trample on your already poor rapport with the community and yelp. According to Jacob L---- he "was just keeping me honest" 1) check in 1- I wanted a Sapporo while my children were getting their lesson at tiger rock karate two doors down. I figured, how badly could these people screw up a bottled beer. Even at happy hour, there was some excuse about pricing from the barely legible sushi chef. How can you screw up a bottled beer? Kamoon can. 2) check in 2- I'm over the non loyalty to locals from the fellas at sushi one so I thought, kamoon DOES have pretty decent sushi. So alone I went in for a two rolls and a beer. The service was poor, no chop sticks, wasabi was warm and awful, rolls were not that bad. So again, the fish is not bad but for those prices, you need a tight rolled. 3) check in 3- I had two business executives in from Tampa and they said we want sushi for lunch. Since sushi one isn't loyal to locals--they will never see me business again, blue fish is ok but not nice enough to bring business folks to so in lieu of going to christiane and ying at Charlie chiangs, I thought Ill take them to Kamoon. Again my expectation was in and out 45 minutes. It must be slow so I thought we could knock out lunch quickly. Sushi took forever. Waitress took forever. (She was nice though). This time the check was exactly what we ordered. However, Jacob L and Paul. That's the truth. Is that "keeping it honest Jacob L?"

Stopped by today, probably the 5th time I've been there. The Peruvian cuisine, as always, was delicious and everyone seemed to be on their toes to make sure we were taken care of. Very enjoyable experience- the atmosphere of this place makes it very personal, to go and have a nice conversation while eating some great food. 5 stars for this place. Only flaw today, the choclo con queso was very simple, nothing like typical Peruvian style. Overall this place is great and the servers are on their top game when it comes to service. Highly recommend it.

I loved everything about Komoon, have been to the Naples location and Bonita location...excellent service at both, and our food was fresh and delicious. A creative restaurant - love the Peruvian flare. Delicious ceviche !

I was sadly disappointed with our visit ... And I was looking so forward to it ! We had a couple sushi rolls .. The fish was "fishy" and the seaweed was so strong it over powered any other flavor. We also had the udon noodle bowl .. The noodles were the only good part . The chicken was over cooked , the veggies undercooked and the broth was so bland I had to add every sauce on the table and then some to make it somewhat enjoyable. This is my first bad review on yelp- it's awkward !! lol unfortunatly for koomoon , we will not return there are too many more awesome places in town .

Don't let the outside fool ya... Great strip mall restaurant that is very classy. I like the ambiance to the place once you walk in, kind of relaxing. Like just about every other sushi place in Naples, they have Thai options on the menu. The one interesting item I noticed though were the Peruvian options. I've never had Peruvian, but I know it was a big influence for the world famous Nobu in NYC. Alas, I was craving sushi and that is what I ordered. It was very good quality and well presented. Their special rolls looked outstanding and creative. I stuck with the basics and ordered a sushi combo with a mix of Nigiri and a Spicy Tuna roll. I look forward to exploring their menu on future visits.

Great food, good wine selection. Sushi was yummy. Nice upbeat environment with live music. Very festive feeling. BUT the service was not good. Very slow and unfriendly. Either they need to hire more people or figure out a new system. I will go back and try it again because t was crowded the night we went and I am hoping their service was just off the night we went.

I happened across this place after a busy day touring the Naples area and decided to treat ourselves to Thai delivery staying in a near by resort. After reading a few Yelp reviews we decided to give this place a go and we are glad we did. Koomon has an extensive menu, dipping their toes in little bit of everything from Sushi,Thai and even a few Peruvian entrees. We decided to do a mixed bag of sushi and Thai. A couple orders of Thai noodles, a Naruto tuna sushi appetizer, and a bowl of Thai tom kha soup. The soup was delightful, smooth and velvety in texture, with hints of lemon grass and a generous portion of shrimp. The Naruto roll was equally impressive, light, delectable and fresh tasting. The two noodle dishes( drunken noodles & pad Thai) was a nice finish. Plenty of proteins, packed full of veggies and the right amount of Thai heat to make all the flavors meld together. Just a side note we both ordered our noodles spicy( 4 out 5 on their hot scale). This could be a little overwhelming for some people who don't like heat of Thai peppers. The service from placing the order to delivery was spot on! They even separated cold items from hot items ordered. Should you be staying in a resort near Koomon restaurant and want an easy delivery without a service charge($15.00 min order), you might want to give the menu a glance. In my opinion you might be glad you did.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner and dining experience on Dec 16th. Food (ceviche and Thai dishes) was fresh and well presented by a friendly waiter, Water (sp). The dining area was very clean and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Have made several recommendations to friends to go there and hope they enjoy the same good fortune.

Checked this place out thanks to the wonderful yelp reviews and they were right .... About the food the service on the other hand was something awful. Not to bore you with the whole story but the waiter was very inattentive our sushi which was ordered as an appetizer sat on the sushi bar and was brought out with the main meal the check was wrong and everything took and extraordinary amount of time... And the fact that we were the only people in the restaurant at the time made it all the more frustrating. I was so disappointed in the service I decided not to leave a tip. I was then followed out to my car by the waiter who asked me if he did something wrong. Thankfully the food was good because had the food been anything like the service I wouldn't have paid the bill ... It was that bad an experience UPDATE Paul - thanks for getting back to me but it seems like your investigative skills are as piss poor as our service at your restaurant .... Firstly we were a party of 6 not 4 secondly ur records may indicate when our rolls left the kitchen but like I stated in my initial review they SAT on the sushi bar ... The waiter was extremely in attentive and lost when he took our order on an iPad or some sort of tablet and it was very impersonal and he had to walk away several times while taking our order and then return. In regards to thanking the staff for the service yes we did but the thank you was not directed towards our incompetent waiter it was directed towards the young lady that finally got our issue with the checks resolved and charged us. About the fact that the waiter walked out of the restaurant to engage me I just want to make you aware that I didn't get nasty with him till he got nasty with me.

We went when it was not busy and the staff seemed to manipulate the flow of things rather poorly. I agree with previous posters... Check your bill! I sensed this would happen from the onset. I can smell a rat. My Ceviche Mixto with mixed seafood marinated in lime juice, onions, herbs and seasonings was out of this world with hidden gems unfolding with every bite. My wife opted for the beef with basil sauce... This left her speechless... She gobbled every last bit and made me drive to the Asian store for ingredients to replicate it. It was a success BTW. This restaurant is the bomb I don't want to be on the pulpit about honesty. We held on to our check too long to adjust the price. I felt like he wanted us to succumb with time. I think this is just wrong. He was dealing with poorly placed orders that I could clearly hear as they were executed. Language barriers keep me from rating this place higher. A better staff and this restaurant can be a 5.

3rd visit since they opened about 2 years ago...wow! The extensive menu gave us almost too many choices. When we chose we were so happy that we regretted not coming sooner! Panang curry was to die for and the Thai soup flavor will make me go back sooner! Great job guys! We will be coming for more!

Food was good, service was terrible!!! Worst ever!! We get better service at McDonald's than this place.

We had some simple sushi that was good and very well presented. For the main dishes we all had Thai: drunken noodles and pad thai. No complaints and portions were good size. The staff was very attentive for a half full house.

We visit Naples several times a year from the Fort Lauderdale area. We have eaten at Komoon several times. The food is delicious, nice size portions, and service is great! We have made Komoon a regular spot for dinner when we are iNaples.

First time in and we'll definitely be back! Tucked into the back corner of a shopping plaza, don't let the location fool you. This place is a gem! Small dining room, great ambiance, and huge menu. They have a really nice selection of Japanese appetizers, entrees and sushi, and a large and authentic Peruvian menu as well. We didn't venture into the Peruvian stuff this time, but we're looking forward to trying some new things next time. The ceviche looked particularly yummy. We sat at the sushi bar for our first visit, and since we couldn't do much people-watching with our backs to the restaurant, we really enjoyed the large TV that displayed various dishes on the menu, and pictures of the owner with regular guests. It was a nice way to become familiar with all of the great food they offer, and you could see that they have fun and have developed a loyal clientele. For an appetizer, we ordered Edemame, Gyoza, and Crab Rangoon. Everything came out hot and delicious. The crab rangoon was the purse style, rather than the triangles, and was chock full of crab. So much so, that my wife complained that it didn't have enough cream cheese. I thought it was perfect as is. For dinner we shared the Chicken Terryaki Roll and the special Komango Roll. Both were packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. There so many other rolls to choose from, we had a tough time deciding. There's definitely something for everyone. The appetizers and two rolls were sufficient to fill us up without feeling like we needed a stretcher to roll us out. With 2 glasses of wine each, our bill came to $82. This place is a great date spot, or everyday option. It's cozy, elegant, affordable and delicious! We'll be back in the very, very near future. :)

This was a hidden gem...large menu so options for all tastes. The pad thai was delicious however it was very spicy which is not the norm so if you do not like spice, make sure to tell your service. We went on a Thursday night and there was a latino band playing, it was very loud but it was enjoyable all the same.

This is our favorite place. The Misses has taken me here quite a bit for both lunch and dinner, everything has always been amazing. They have a Peruvian menu that I haven't tried yet, but have heard good feedback from people at the sushi bar. The RedDragon roll is always, always a must-have, the chicken Won-ton soup is amazing, Spicy Crunchy Tuna, fanfreakintastic... I have been here a lot, I even come in here to get my sushi fix rather than hangin out with my buds at the bar (when the misses is working)... that's saying a lot about how much I crave the food. The staff, the owners & the sushi chef (he works every day!) are all so amazing, they become like a family, usually that's a NY Italian restaurant thing I grew up on, but the feeling is here as well. Love this place, glad it's close to home... I'll be back many more times.

Went there for my birthday this week with my girlfriends. The service was very slow, and we waited too long for everything. The food was outstanding. Will be back to try once again, but only because the food is scrumptious.

My husband and I were down from CT and tried this restaurant on Tuesday and after an amazing experience we went back for more on Thursday. The staff, service, owner, decor and food were all outstanding. We're looking forward to our next trip down to Naples for more sushi, sashimi, ceviche and incredible banana tempura dessert. Thank you! Colby and Pat

Since the Thai-Sushi (or vice versa) angle is fairly well covered (and liked) in Naples, it was no surprise to hear there was a concept involving what works and something new... but Peruvian? Okay, you've got my attention. My mother and I stopped in for a late (post 2pm) lunch and luckily could still grab the lunch specials. They had a good sampling of their menu, but a lot of the prices seemed to be the same as dinner time. I grabbed the Pad Thai sushi combo and my mom ordered the shrimp ceviche (she loved that they asked you how spicy she wanted it, because she's a big fan of the heat). My salad immediately arrived with some palatable but pretty low on my list of acceptable ginger dressings, and after a bit of a wait the rest came out. My bento-like sampler was composed of a small portion of inoffensive yet unexciting Pad Thai, four pieces of Cali roll, three nigiri, six sashimi, and a small bit of fried salmon (?) in some spicy mayo. (it was pretty deeply fried and heavily coated in mayo, but salmon is my best guess). Super fresh fish, and their special rolls looked pretty good. My mom really liked her ceviche, which was served with some corn and sweet potatoes. I dont know if I ever see myself ordering the Peruvian entrees in here, as delish as they sounded, since the atmosphere immediately triggered my mind into thinking I was going to eat something Asian, but I'm sure they're tasty. (They do offer delivery though, so maybe in the comfort of my own home I'll want to try them) They have a small sushi bar if you feel like watching the chef work, and use a fairly sleek tablet "ticket" system (something I haven't seen a lot of in Charlotte, but don't know if it's trendy in Naples these days). Friendly and attentive service, and there's also a Yelp Deal if you check in!

Eh, time will tell. The sushi is good. I ordered take out, because I figured I'd be in and out as the lunch crowd was dying down. When I walked in, there was a lady already at the register, however she walks away and says she'll be right back. My order was right there, I saw the amount, took out the money, so when she came back, I could hand it to her and leave. She walked by several times doing other things and getting people their food. Hey, I had take out, which would have taken less than 2 minutes to get me in and out. There were other people working there as well, perhaps she could have asked them to assist. I've been to many sushi places and this is the one place I had to wait the longest to pay for my take out order. Maybe I'll try it again, as this was the first time.

After reading the reviews and being new to Naples I decided to give this place a try. My standards are pretty high considering I was the head bartender of a group of top rated sushi restaurants in South Carolina. I was greatly disappointed in their sushi. Anything involving spicy tuna or mayo mixed with crab etc (example dynamite mussels, volcano roll) greatly reminded me of those terrible YouTube videos exposing the "pink slime" used by fast good restaurants, did not resemble any type of seafood at all, was not spicy, and just absolutely awful. I had the Snow White roll I think it was called that was shrimp tempura topped with white tuna and avocado. That roll was the only roll if order again out of the 6 sushi/Japanese items i ordered. However the tempura was not at all crunchy and the rolls kept falling apart. The ONLY reason this is getting 3 stars is because the Shrimp Pad Thai I ordered as well for take out was absolutely amazing. However I wish they would have included vegetables at the 16$ price point. If I do return it'll only be to sample the Peruvian dishes and/or to get pad Thai. The sushi was just something I would never order to recommend to anyone.

Food is always ok to good. The thing that drives me crazy is that if you order online, they expect you to call to confirm order, otherwise they won't get your order ready. Found that out the hard way. It's like writing an email, then printing it and then mailing it through the postal service. Why have an online order system if I then need to call.

The ambiance and service were excellent. The presentation of the food was delightful. I had chicken Pad Thai that was spicy and delicious. There was a live band (guitars, bass and drums) that were excellent (really top notch). I cannot wait to try the Peruvian and Japanese entrees. A real gem of a restaurant with reasonable prices.

Absolutely Fantastic! 4 of us went there for dinner tonight. We got sushi, garlic shrimp, chicken curry, drunken noodles, and tempura ice cream. Each dish was prepared exactly how we asked, sushi happy hour was a great deal with a good selection to chose from. Definitely recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised by this find. It's a random place in a shopping mall, but the food, service and ambiance was great. The food was absolutely delicious and their was an amazing live Flamenco musician that really made the evening an unforgettable experience.

What a neat fussion experience! Though I've encountered many types of gastronomic fusions, a Peruvian /Japenese/Thai influence was beyond my imagination. Eating at the sushi bar (as always!), they had all of the standard fair but what was especially fun was a choice of 5 different ceviches with 3 different heat settings. Me and the Mrs. chose the mixed seafood ceviche and, after asking for a heat suggestion, went hot. The fusion came in when we noticed what appeared to be (and tasted like) some type of a white bean on the side. After inquiring we were informed it was a variety of Peruvian corn with kernels at least 3 times as large as I've ever seen...and it worked as a subtle compliment to the acidity of the ceviche. On the other side of the plate was something I dreaded seeing...the ONLY food I avoid...sweet potatoe. However, since the saki (cold and yummy) was kicking in I decided to give it a reluctant go. Surprisingly, it had the most subtle taste and, like the corn, complimented the dish with its balance. I give the owners a big thumbs up and suggest that if your palate is even a little adventurous that you will find this experience a real treat. The service was extremely attentive and the friendliness of Paul (the owner) made us feel at home. We will certainly go back the next time we are in the area.

Awesome atmosphere. Not a big restaurant. Definitely best to make reservations on the weekend. The food was so good. The options were better than most restaurants I have been too. Sushi was to die for! Sushi was the best I have had in the Naples area. All the plates were very presented extremely well. This is one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in Naples. Everyone is extremely nice and polite. Very fun place and with all the options I could become a regular.

In Naples for the month of February. Had dinner here the first night. Awesome! Came back twice more during our stay. The owners are very nice people, hard working and appreciative. Seviche is excellent. Sushi is also very good. Love the fancy tuna roll and the golden salmon roll. Wine is reasonably priced. If we lived in Naples, this would be a regular spot for us!

This is the only Thai place that I've found in SW FL that has Pad Thai with brown sauce (instead of the typical orange sauce found in other places). It's amazingly good. Grab the spice rack along with it and heat it up to your liking. I was referred to this place by a friend and I'll definitely be back. Really good stuff.

Great food - long wait. The menu is good and has a good variety. The food was fresh when it finally came out. We had to wait 30 mins for our sushi order. The place is small and it does get busy so make a reservation. The tables are very close together and any time you need to sit down the table next to you will get up close and personal with your behind. The waitstaff was attentive at first, but as the evening got busier, we barely saw our waiter. we had 3 different waiters and had to wait a long time for our bill. Fix these few problems and everything should run smoothly.

Delicious--especially given the reasonable prices. Service was prompt. We had the Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, Red Curry and various nigiri. The soup was especially good. Having come all the way from from San Francisco, where fusion Asian is ubiquitous, we were impressed by the freshness of the flavors and the ambience.

Have not yet eaten in at Komoon Thai, but have ordered delivery a few times. Each time they were accommodating when we asked for certain sushi rolls to be separated due to someone in the group having an allergy. Delivery service was fast and the sushi was great. Enjoyed the red dragon roll, JB roll, spicy tuna roll, beauty and the beat roll and the lovers roll.

I ate here earlier tonight with my boyfriend and we were generally happy with our experience. The service was quick and friendly and the portions were generous. My boyfriend ordered the pad see ew with chicken, which was as expected. I ordered a combination meal with sushi, sashimi, and shrimp tempura. I was pleased to learn that my meal came with miso soup or salad (hadn't noticed this on the menu, if it was there) and when it arrived, there was a tuna roll that I don't think was supposed to be part of my meal - nice bonus. Plus it arrived on a "boat" - how fun! The tempura was very good, though the "shrimp tempura" ended up being two pieces of shrimp and a variety of vegetables. Not what I was expecting, but the quality more than made up for it (unusually crisp). The sushi was nicely presented, but the fish didn't seem like the highest quality available - much of it was a little hard to chew (tough veins in all three types of fish I received). For that, I dock a star. Prices were a bit steep, though they seemed more reasonable once we saw the portions (and we also had a discount certificate). Overall, we'll probably go back. I'd like to try the ceviche.

My husband & I ate there after seeing the good reviews on Yelp(really wished I would've seen the discount if you check in!!!). We had the papaya salad, thai iced tea(w/o the cream), yaki soba, and unagi sushi roll. I was kind of surprised when I saw the prices...maybe this is typical in Naples but, it seemed kind of pricey to me. The portions are pretty good though. All of the dishes came beautifully plated. We shared the yaki soba, (Which I was alittle skeptical about ordering but on recommendation from our server did anyway)it was delicious! It had subtle but delicious flavor, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the veggies were crisp and fresh! The papaya salad was yummy! I didn't find the fish flavor too strong but, did add more of the delicious chili spice! My hubby had the unagi (I'm not a fan of eel so, I didn't partake). The roll didn't fall apart when he dipped it in the soy/wasabi mixture and each piece had a nice eel taste. We definitely recommend everything we ordered and highly recommend this restaurant! It's tricky to find unless you are looking for it! It's tucked in the corner of a strip mall. Enjoy! We did! They also deliver w/in a 5 mi radius!
