Super convient restaurant to have lunch in a nice place. the place wasn't so busy, but still loud chatter , which was fine. they serve you complementary bread with butter. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo (see picture), which was super yummy ! the sauce was thick, but somewhat creamy at the same time.... loved it tho, it was just right. the strawberry lemonade was on point! omg! not too sour from the lemonade, or too sweet from the strawberry. it was perfect ! For dessert I ordered the chocolate souffle with vanilla ice cream (see picture), and that was so yummy! the customer service was great! very attentive and super fast at serving us our food.

I love the food!!!! I always order online. They deliver quickly and never forget anything. I really like their Italian dishes, the pizza, and their tiramisu is awesome!

Average Italian food and with competition like Perricones right down the street and Fratelli Milano right downtown, I don't foresee this place thriving in Brickell. It's one of those places where you leave thinking "was the food terrible? No. But would I ever come back here unless forced to? No way!" Everything lacked flare and a certain wow factor. I had the Gondoleta with truffle sauce that many yelp reviews recommended and I added shrimp. It was okay... Is it any better than Perricone's pear and fiocchi dish? Nope. Did it cost more? Yep! So why would I come back here? We even got a free dessert courtesy of a yelp check in offer. We ordered the "soufflé" and asked the server how long it would take and he said it would be out right away. We then questioned how fresh a soufflé could be if it could be out so quickly and asked him how fresh it was. And he gave us the old fashioned "what the customer wants to hear" response and said "it was just made!" So out comes our "soufflé" and it's a molten chocolate cake. Now I love molten chocolate cake as much as any other guy, but this one was first claiming to be a soufflé which it clearly is not and then on top of that it tasted like a frozen dessert that you could buy anywhere. And even the ice cream that came along with it tasted cheap. I expect damn Haagen Dazs quality or better when I dine out! This tasted like Breyers. If this was the only place open in Brickell and I had no food at all at home, not even a can of tuna, then I will come back and dine here. But other than that, PASS!

This was my love and mine first night in Miami, and I have to say I'm glad this was our first dining experience. For reasonable prices, our food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was casual but nice, making our overall experience an easy five stars. I ordered the signature tortellini dish (it started with a g), and my partner ordered the chicken picata with fettuccine. Both dishes were excellent, but the tortellini dish was by far our favorite. It was everything a pasta dish should be. Thank you for an excellent night, and a lovely introduction to Miami!

Nice setting, the waiters rush you too much to order your food, they yell across the room (unacceptable), we ordered 3 dishes, out of which we only really enjoyed one. -Beef Carpaccio (not fresh, seemed like they had it in the fridge just waiting to be ordered) -Spaghetti A la Carbonara (Nice dish with white onions and bites of Bacon) -The third dish I do not recall the name, but it was angel hair pasta with meat sauce and cheese, at first the dish seemed ok, but after a while the flavor of the meat starting to get stale.) I expected a little more***

The moment my friend and I walked into the restaurant, we were greeted kindly and were seated right away. No wait, which was wonderful. It wasn't too busy since we came past the dinner rush. The server, waitress, hostess, and even the manager checked in on us and we're very efficient, it was like they read our minds on what we needed! The food was delivered in a short amount of time and was amazing. I had the lasagna and it was soooo good- hot, fresh, cheesy goodness! I so got the Profiteroles which was an amazing combination of a light, crisp eclair with ice cream inside. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in town!

It was my angel of a mother's birthday lastnight. WoohooOOoo!!!! Love her! They've come here once before and said it was one of the best Italian restaurants they've tried (and my parents have gone to Italy) so of course birthday girl gets whatever birthday girl wants so Italian it is. Now I don't care too much for Italian only because I never really have much luck. Well, so glad I was wrong this time. As always Brickell is always a good time. We parked across the street and the security guard let us know he'd keep an eye on our car, what a nice guy...I also see it as mom's birthday luck. We're seated right away and the atmosphere is good. It was nice and cool inside, perfect since Miami feels like I'm melting every time I put my fat toe out the door. The waiter was very polite and went over the wine list. We chose a perfect Merlot (Maria Cristina) perfect after taste. The complimentary bread was delish and I loved the E.V.O.O., I dipped my bread in it for every bite. We ordered a Calamari and fried zucchini appetizer..I liked the zucchini but the calamari was too oily for my taste and had absolutely no flavor... I'd pass on that. Now for the main courses. I must tell you, I can't lie I almost did a little dance in my chair for every bite. ALL OF OUR DISHES WE'RE IMPECCABLE! !!!!!!! Dude that's alot for me to say. My parents both ordered the Salmon Marie Rosa which is salmon in a Brandy lobster cream sauce with chopped shrimp on top, it's so damn good with a side of Fettuccine Alfredo that is out of this world and I ordered the Gondoletta Spaghettino which I won't lie doesn't look too appealing but God bless you the taste....the taste was pure heaven. It's a four, count it four cheese filled pasta with truffle cream sauce ... holy moly wish I was back there now. This place has truly changed my mind about Italian food. Thank goodness I would've been missing out on alot. Perfect evening for my perfect birthday girl. Love you Mom, Happy birthday.

So, after reading the managers message on Yelp and thinking to myself that I should try it again since there are some good reviews about it.... I went again not one, not twice, but three more times..... I went for Happy Hour, then I went for dinner with friends and lastly I went with family who came to visit us. I really wanted to like this place and give it a fair chance but after four visits, I think I am done with this one. It is not for me. Ciao Ciao Spaghettino. so to update my first review.... the happy hour is til 7pm at tables or 9pm at the small bar counter. however, the bartender didn't seem to know how to make many basic drinks this was frustrating, so we decided to order wine (easy drink). Don;t get me wrong, he was nice but I don't think he knew much of bar stuff. This time they had a bar bites menu available (7$ to 11$ items). However, I didn't think any of the items were very Italian.... except for the meatballs but they came as sliders which it didn't make it appealing. other items: blackened shrimp, goat cheese fried balls... I tried some dishes here during my few visits; pasta, salad, meatball sliders, bread, carpaccio... so far the best thing was the wine. There are several Italian restaurants in the Brickell area, that in my opinion, serve more authentic dishes and also offer a nicer ambiance.

Walked over from the Mandarin Oriental looking for a semi-casual place offering good food where I didn't have to pay a ton. Stumbled upon this place and beyond the nice outside tables, found a charming restaurant with attentive servers and relaxed atmosphere. My waitress recommended an appetizer of the day including mozzarella, tomatoes, roasted artichoke and a vegetable mix that I think had eggplant, onion, black olives, roasted peppers, tomatoes and everything was delicious! I took advantage of their yelp! offer of wine or dessert and the manager, Kendall, came over and thanked me for dining with them. My entree was meatballs and whole wheat pasta. I know, sacrilege. Trying to go low carb (I know, I know. Italian and low carb.) Ate the meatballs and just tried the pasta. The sauce had a great fragrance and the serving was generous. The meatballs were good and not some reheated, formerly frozen objects. They were good and, forgive me, meaty. The sauce had a rich flavor and the pasta was perfectly al dente. I'm sure I'm here early by Miami standards, but I'm not sure why more people aren't here. Their loss. I had a wonderful dinner. Edit: Well, I was right. Before I had left, it was 8:00. All the outdoor seating was full, and while still room inside, it was picking up. All this on a Tuesday night.

Viva la pasta! Spaghettino is a true gem in the Brickell area. I'll admit that I personally don't like Italian food much but for some reason I was very excited when a friend picked this restaurant for dinner. I've ran past it a few times and have stopped to look at the menu and was intreagued by the restaurant. It's a really cute place and their menu sounded delicious. We went on a Wednesday night which was great because we were probably the only people there. I ordered the Gondoleta Spaghettino which was homemade four cheese filled pasta in a light truffle cream sauce. I really hate the word I'm about to say but I think it's appropriate to describe this dish....it's AMAZEBALLS! I'm seriously craving it again right now. My boyfriend had the Rigatoni alla Vodka, which was also quite delicious but nowhere near as amazing as my dish (I win for best dish!) They have unlimited amazing crusty bread (I think I ate a loaf by myself). We ordered a bottle of prosecco. They have 1/2 off bottles on Wednesdays but the catch is that the bottle has to be over $60. Oh well. The staff was great as well. Oh! Almost forgot. If you check in on Yelp you get a free dessert. 3 of my friends checked in so we ordered the tiramisu and 2 other chocolate desserts. All delicious as well. I will most definitely be visiting this restaurant again.

Simple Italian, exceptional selection for lunch and low key dinners. The Pasta as well as the Pizza do the job they are designed to do, and the service is consistently good. I would recommend the ribeye special when they have it, and they are very flexible with changes and substitutions. Go for it! S

Checked in with a free glass of wine! Yay! Ordered a pasta dish and it was delic. Al dente and flavors were really good. Was first worried about coming here since it was in Brickell downtown, as a visitor, we didn't want to go into a touristy spot with so so food because we didn't know better. But this place was delic. And as a couple was walking out, we asked if it was good and they said yes, very good~ So we gave it a try. And the manager and servers were super friendly and nice. They've never seen the Yelp check in before (which is weird as a business owner/manager), but of course he honored it. I didn't give a full 5 star because we also ordered the lentil soup and it was lack luster. It was good, but nothing special tasting about it. So maybe they can work on making the lentil soup a little more wow. But overall, a very good spot to get some pasta. Prices/portions decent too.

I love this place. Whether I dine there or get delivery, it's always consistently great. Their Caesar salad is always great. Their mozzarella is always crispy and hot. And my favorite meal ever, Chicken Francaise is always on the money. Thank you Spaghettino!!!!

I'm very hard to impress! I'm picky about my food, drinks and atmosphere. Spaghettino is the real deal! Great food and I love their mojitos!!! I highly highly recommend this place. The Tuna Tartar is the best!!! Prices are worth the pleasure you will experience.

This place is two blocks up and literally a right and boom we are there, from my job. This place was designated for our holiday luncheon. You are greeted with a lovely lady in the front with a smile and a gentleman opening a door for us. Staff: Friendly, Fast, and Pleasant. The Setup: There is just something odd of the way the seating is, like it is long instead of a little wide. Giving off little room. The lighting is a little odd as well, some dark areas, some light, it did not seem even. Food: Ordered The Pollo Parmigiana. At first, the pasta resembled Mac & Cheese, the thickness and the color. However, awesome tasting, I couldn't finish it all. Even though I wanted to. Desert, Italian Cheescake, yummy! Their food presentation is elegant. Price: I am sure it is a little pricey, but it is gourmet food. You will enjoy.

Back here again- my neighborhood gem in Brickell. I gave an extra star for consistency! Service & friendliness of the staff are consistently great. They know when to leave you alone and when to be alert. Quality of ingredients and execution great. Pasta - my fave linguini del salvaggio- with fresh mushrooms, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes w/ chunks of garlic in a garlic sauce... I asked for extra al-dente and came out as such. Check-in w Yelp and get a free glass of wine!

Came here as it was near our hotel and there was a Yelp voucher for a free glass of wine. Nice one Yelp! Really great service. We talked with the manager Kendall as he was helping with the Yelp voucher - he was very helpful. Food was good - What to expect in an Italian restaurant. Lentil Soup was so so and pasta tasted great, really seasoned well. They have free wifi and really close to all the businesses on Brickell road.

Positives: i really enjoy the food here and order in several times a month. Their Pizza Parma is amazing and one of the best fresh tasting pizzas you can have in Miami. Just the right amounts of sauce cheese and meats. Great pizza to enjoy with some red wine. I also enjoy their pasta which I have ordered about 5 different ones.

I work in the area and came here for a team luncheon after a meeting on June 15, 2015. Overall the restaurant seems pretty busy during lunch. A few of us ordered pasta and tortellini, which looked quite nice and tasted good. One colleague had a salad topped with some kind of cooked fish, which was a bit smelly. I had unfortunately ordered the Di Tonno Rosso, which basically was "Ahi" Tuna on some greens. Well, I was up for an experience with this plate. I left the restaurant feeling as usual for the first 30 mins and then had to quickly be driven to the Baptist Medical Plaza in Brickell. My tuna was definitely not fresh and/or improperly stored and not safe for consumption. I had to undergo an emergency treatment at the hospital and felt horrible. If you go here stick with pasta. I would avoid any form of sea food, fish or not fully cooked meat.

  • Thomas S.

Mediocre. That's really the best way to describe the place. The food, average. The ambiance is terrible, it's essentially a to go restaurant and they have DJ playing club music. The 4 star Yelp reviews and $$ made me want to try it - but it's just average and the prices are actually $$$. Servers were nice, but mediocre Italian at $$$ = bad.

This is the same owner as Carpaccio in Bal Harbour with the same menu and quality of food. I've been there twice and the food is identically impeccable ! The lobster with linguine and pink sauce is the best in Miami! The pasta Bolognese is fantastic and the beef meatballs are perfectly seasoned and huge! Brava well done! The waiter and waitresses are always sweet with us!! Perfect Brickell location !!!

Absolute worst delivery service. Was passed around the phone to three different people who could not get it together. After trying to place my order and being placed on hold several times for 15 minutes i gave up and cancelled my order all together. It should not take a restaurant 15 minutes ( and at that point i have not even given my credit card information) to take an order, and did not understand why i kept being passed to someone who spoke minimal English. It is common sense that you should have someone working in your restaurant who takes delivery orders who is able to speak and understand proper english, and not make the customers unnecessarily wait for over 15 minutes. The low level of customer service is really unfortunate considering they have decent food but I'd rather be taking my business somewhere else that has both quality food and better customer service.

Excellent Happy Hour that runs until 9:00pm M-F which is rare in the Brickell area. I've been here twice, both times have been memorable for the food and service and the Meatballs are amazing! The prices are very good given the location and quality of food. Overall, 4.5

Spaghettino used to be a gem. That was when Greg was the bartender and every other person in the restaurant seemed to act as though the restaurant was a legitimate, busy establishment. I live in the building, so I eat at, take out from, or order delivery from Spaghettino at least once a week. The food is wonderful, and the convenience can't be beat. I had but few issues with my orders for take out or delivery until Edgar (one of the other, more recent bartenders) left. Even now, the issues do not lie with their newly-hired and very friendly bartender. The times I have had issue with your restaurant concern times I have ordered take out. Multiple times, I have received or picked food up that had things I have specifically asked not to be in the food/order ( even though I have input my request online in a very specific manner). Other times, simple things such as bread have been left out of my order, and I find myself either having to go back or order in and wait another 30 minutes (which is clearly unreasonable). I have worked at restaurants and I know that one of the manager's jobs is to make sure orders go out as planned. I have repeatedly spoken with Spaghettino's manger, Jimmy, and he still does not make sure orders go out as requested. Just tonight i ordered a panini and a chicken dish, which was supposed to come with pasta. If anyone had been checking that order before it went out, they would know it should include at least three (3) boxes. It did not. The manager was not checking orders as the food goes out. I go to Spaghettino multiple times a week out of convenience. I can't imagine what first-timers or people who travel out of their way think when they go.

This place is extremely close to where I live and I really wanted to love it but I don't think I'll be ever going back. I've been there 3 times because again, it is super close and they have good deals on various days of the week (lobster day, pasta Thursday, etc.). The pasta is watery and does not taste homemade. It is also over done and not perfectly al dente as good Italian pasta should be. The chicken is tasteless and the vegetables nothing special. The service is also painfully slow each and every time, even when there is no one else in the restaurant. The place is trying very hard as I always see the owner recruiting people from the street but honestly, if you are in the area, you will get significantly better food at Perricone's for about the same price so why ever go here? Yes, there is never a wait here and frequently a line at Perricone's but doesn't that say something?

Dined at this restaurant several weeks ago. My boyfriend and I had originally set out to eat at another Italian restaurant for their Thursday special but when we realized how long the wait list was, we left and came here. I'm really glad we did. The food was delicious. The service was also very attentive. We had the burrata cheese which was very good. We enjoyed it so much we decided to order delivery through eat24. Looking forward to dining here again.

I came here for my birthday and had a nice experience. Food was good, the wait staff and manager, Kendall, were very nice and provided good service. P.S. I like coming here for happy hour on Fridays for a nice glass of wine and relaxed vibe (you can actually have a conversation with friends and not have to talk over music) but I'm confused as to whether the drink specials are only inside or what? They use to be till 11pm regardless of the area you sat in. I would hope that with the coming weeks of beautiful weather, they extend it to the outside as well.

Just passing through for lunch. Sat outside and ate a great tasting plate of simple pasta pomodoro. Good european style bread to go with it. Added a pic of the outdoor area. I wanted something nice, clean and with some descent food. Found it

Not my first time ordering for delivery from here, but my first time placing my order with Kendall, he's on of the managers. Kendall was so cheery! I ordered a Penne Al La Vodka, which comes plain but I asked if he could add ham to it. Kendall replied "I can add anything you want sweetie". It was amazing. I also ordered the Chicken Parmesan. The food arrived in about 40 min and it was still hot from the oven.

I miss the Peruvian place, but VERY good addition to the Plaza. A spin-off to Calamari in the Grove, this place is very much appeasing to the eye, well decorated. The menu is diverse, so if you're in the mood for lite apps / lite meal or heavy dishes they've got it. I ordered the Chicken Francese and my friends ordered the special Lasagna. Both were very nice presented and tasted even better. No complaints on the service at all! Very much attentive without being in your face. Big props to the restaurant manager on site for lunch on 2/25/14, who walked out to the valet with me because the stamp wasn't available. I'm returning to this place, but for dinner. Yum!

It was the first time we went there and had high expectations as we saw other good reviews. Place was pretty nicely decorated...people were welcoming. Unfortunately we got the worst food poisoning! My boyfriend has the frutti di mare pasta....which we think was the culprit. I shared his dish...but didnt have nearly as much as he did. Poor thing. We both got sick!

Sphaghettino is a great place to have drinks and a delicious meal. The chef is amazing and creative. The bartender inventive and cute. I recommend the ginger sage crush cocktail and the tortellini with the black truffle cream sauce. Can't wait to try the Miami spice menu!

A little pricy, but not surprising considering it's in Brickell. We stopped in and the place was relatively empty. Decided to sit at the bar, but lots of indoor seating and great looking covered outdoor area for people watching. We did the bucket of Estrellas, a steal for only $20 for 5 in authentic glasses. The bread was served with a great garlic butter, as well as a flat toastini sort of object, that has a nice peppery flavor to it. After, we did the tuna carpaccio with artichokes. Everything was fresh, a little heavy pour on the dressing, but delicious. After, we split the signature pizza (thin crust, a must have) and the chopped shrimp salad. The arugula added a lot of flavor, but the tomatoes tasted a little freezer burnt. Overall, based on the ambiance and food, I'd be back.

Omg, I don't even know where to start, I Love SP. I live in new jersey and decided to celebrate my birthday in miami with family and friends. Before going to spaghettino, I went to a couple restaurants which obviously didn't care for my business ( 20ppl in a very slow Wednesday night!), but when I went to spaghettino, the manager kendall was so amazing. He not only accommodate my party, but gave me a great deal for a large party. When we arrived the table of 20 was beautiful with balloons and a table for my cake. The food was so yummy and the service was extremely good, from the bartender to the waiter Jose. On Wednesday they have all bottles of wine for half off, which I think that was a great deal. My birthday was magical thanks to this restaurant. Definitely recommend

Delish pasta!!! We've only had delivery from here so far but both times it's been excellent. We tried the fettuccine alfredo with chicken & the rigatoni ala vodka & were very happy with both! The rigatoni ala vodka was one of the best I've had in awhile. I also tried the spaghetti & clams with white sauce before, it was good but not my favorite dish. Delivery was prompt & food arrived hot via eat24.com . We would definitely order from here again & look forward to dining in too.

Horrible food! Super fake italian version, the Tuna carpaccio is that thin that is impossible to eat and the arugula is FULL of garlic! Really The gondola truffle pasta is undercooked (cruda) which is disgusting for ravioli or any filler pasta. And all butter

My daughter lives close by, and while walking up Brickell last night we decided to give Spaghettino a try. What a pleasant surprise! Very friendly and attentive staff, excellent dishes, reasonable prices, nice deco and atmosphere. We sat outside, facing Brickell avenue, it was a perfect Miami winter night (dry and 75F). I had the Spaghetti Frutti di Mare, good portion full of seafood, perfectly spiced. We also had the special (Lobster ravioli with shrimps on top, delicious) and a traditional spaghetti marinara (we asked to change to fusilli and they immediately agreed without any complaint, nice!) The 5 stars are deserved because Spaghettino met all the criteria: good food, nice place, great service, reasonable prices. Recommended!

Prompt and friendly service. The food was very good. We ordered the salmon piccata and were brought the chicken piccata instead; but it was very good nonetheless. The waiter was very attentive and quite apologetic about the mistake. He promptly corrected the error. Order the Gondoleta Spaguettino (pasta with truffle sauce).... Soooo delicious! Tiramisu is good, too!

TERRIBLE. I dearly wish i had avoided this place. Meh service. Food? I would have been better off hitting the 7-elevne and grabbing something from the freezer section. $15:00 for plate of chewy ravioli that was clearly cooked much earlier in the day day then allowed to dry out. My guess i that when i ordered it, they glopped some sauce on it and shoved it in a toaster oven. How else could they have achieved the perfect combo of hot, gummy, chewy, pasta covers in a scummy sauce? Gross. Why didn't I check yelp first?

I like this place! its located in the heart of brickell. It offers very good service and they are very friendly. The beef carpaccio is very good, also they have friendly prices compared to others in brickell. They also have delivery! I reccomend it for a casual dinner!

This is based on my 1st and only visit. Good service, the waiter was attentive and did a great job. The food was not Italian food, but some american-italian wierd stuff. So much garlic and so much oil. People understand please that garlic and lots of oil doesn't make ur dish Italian. Ok? Not Italian food at all. And sobu know I was raised in Italy so I know what I'm talking about.

Exceptional service from the moment you walk up the outdoor steps, which are beautifully decorated with the letters spelling out spaghettino on planters. Let's talk about Tuesdays: hello lobster special! You get a great size lobster on a bed of linguine with mussels and shrimp and scallops for $22.95!!!! Add a nice glass of wine from the large selection and you are in heaven! They do have other specials on Tuesdays too, maybe other days of the week as well. Another Tuesday I had the beef branzino dish and it was apparently slow cooking for 12 hours prior. It fell off the bone like pudding and I tried stuffing every last piece down but was too full from the generous portions. I love taking people here, it's great for groups or a romantic little one on one. Everything tastes and feels pretty authentic, I will definitely return many Tuesdays ;)

My husband and I have eaten here several times. We usually get take out but did eat outside once on the patio which was very nice ambience. The restaurant inside was just as nice. The service was excellent. Regarding our take out orders the food was ready promptly. The spaghetti bolognese was our favorite and was a large portion that could be split as was our Caesar salad. I had the chicken linguine Alfredo one night also and it was great as well although I would have preferred softer chicken than the chargrilled which was a bit hard. Excellent restaurant overall. Been several times. Delicious!

This place has got to be one of the best Italian American restaurants around!! If your in Brickell I'd definitely recommend coming here. The food, the service and the atmosphere are great all around. Not to mention the happy hour is outrageous. Come check the place out for yourselves you won't be disappointed...

I had spaghetti arrabiata. The sauce was blend. Spaghetti was not well cooked. Oh and they gave me cauliflowers for broccoli. Meh. My friend's pasta wasn't cooked properly as well. Regular sizes are quite big.

Possibly one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in Miami. The food is delicious and the wine is great also. Prices are more than fair and the attention was fantastic. Only been there for lunch, so I can't comment on dinner. It's a fantastic lunch spot though! The atmosphere was very relaxing which was great because the day I went had been crazy with work and other stuff. Definitely visiting again soon!

Beware of Clowns and mediocre food. I must admit I don't yelp much, but I do dine out every day. Once in a while a place merits a "sour yelp". Here is the short version of a lunch the started well and went south very fast. The place: nice and very well located, a great location for people watching. The bread basket: tasty and plentiful as was the garlic butter and olive oil. The caesar salad: freezing cold , brown, wilted and tasteless My wife's Pappardelle Bolognese: was an uneventful Ragu like mush My Chicken Parm was actually very good and worth returning for, if it were not for what happened next. I gave the waiter one of several cards in my wallet. He returned shortly with a swagger, explaining "We have a slight, problem with your card, something to do with the FBI". At first, I thought what? then I figured out he was joking and realized my card had been declined. I promptly, apologetically and thoroughly embarrassed gave him another card from another bank. Moments later he returns nodding his head from side to side, sorry your card... No, just kidding". So, I asked him so you were just kidding? Yes Spaghettino, If I wanted clowns, I'd go to the circus. If, I go to your restaurant for a quite lunch with my wife grant me at least an ok meal and simple courtesy. You took an already embarrassing situation for a customer and made a spectacle. Shame, I really did like the chicken parm. But, your food does not warrant a second chance when coupled with your comic service. Ciao

Quick lunch on Brickell, you are greeted outside by a hostess and a host that takes you to your table. Inside the music is loud and it's very noisy (restaurant is empty, it is still earlier). We are welcomed by our waitress who gets our drinks order and promptly brings us some bread and crispy spicy crackers/flatbread. I personally really liked the spicy crispy flatbread. The menus are ginormous!! Same as at carpaccio and il bellagio I believe but it is too big (IMO). However they do need space to put all their dishes (appetizers, salads, carpaccio, meat, fish, pizza, pasta...). I ordered the chicken milanese, which comes with potatoes and salad. I asked without potatoes. The chicken was nicely breaded and crunchy. It was good. The portion is good enough. Smaller than at the other restaurants but enough for lunch. My friend got the grilled salmon, served with potatoes and cooked spinach. Overall it was good and the service was always attentive and polite. The music was less loud once more people started getting seated but it was still loud and noisy and difficult to hear. I would agree with a previous review suggesting lunch specials.

I had guests in town but hadn't made any dinner reservations for Saturday night. Rather than deal with long waits in the Mary Brickell area, we tried Spaghettino right on Brickell Avenue. It turned out to be a great decision! There was no wait and the service was exceptional (including check-ins from both the manager and head chef). The food was very good, especially for the reasonable prices. To top it off, we received dessert on the house! I will definitely be putting Spaghettino in my regular restaurant rotation, and I'm excited to try their takeout as well, since I think that's an area that Brickell is a little lacking.

Great place for non-authenic "italian" food. Take Italians there and they will hate you but for an average Joe it might be a good choice. Anyway, may be I am just too picky but if you ever been to Italy...

We have been living and working in the Brickell area for over 10 years and this is the first time we've experienced eating real Italian food. That being said, the place was a pleasant surprise. The servers made us feel at home and continued to check on us without rushing us out the door. We have eaten there twice and ordered take out once, the food was fantastic. Prices are great, weekday specials include a variety of pasta plates, starting at around $11.00. Happy hour is also extraordinary, longer than any other place around the Financial District. We will definitely go back with clients, friends and family. E & A.

Solid choice for Italian food in Brickell. I had the beef carpaccio with arugula and parmesan and the pasta with truffle sauce, both were on point. The rest of the table enjoyed their pasta dishes and appetizers and the service was surprisingly good. When it started raining on our patio table, the manager personally helped move us inside. Definitely repeatable.

Pretty good experience here. Am familiar with all of the other sister restaurants (Bella Luna, Il Villagio, etc) and am usually very happy there, and the case proved to be the same here as well. Great food, decent portions, prices are a little steeper than the sister restaurants, service was good then it went downhill so they have a few kinks to work out. A nice plus is eating outside with a nice view of Brickell and the trees. Good ppl watching.

Went for lunch on Thursday April 17th at around 12:45. Amazing quality food and service. Attention to detail here. Wonderful menu, something for everybody. Lots of fresh pasta, grilled and lightly breaded chicken, some beef, all served with amazing sauces or butter, olive oil and fresh garlic. A nice variety of salads. Authentic gourmet Italian all the way. Friendly attentive staff. I had salmon with brandy shrimp and lobster sauce, my partner had the seafood pasta special with big shrimp, mussels, clams with sun dried tomatoes, spinach over a bed of fresh pasta. Go! You will not be disappointed. Will definitely return the next time I'm in town.

I love this place. It's the same owners as Villagio and Calamari so if you've ever been to either of those places expect the same menu and same great quality. It's my go to spot and walking distance from anywhere in brickell. Atmosphere: sit outside. When the weather is nice it's really lovely and you can people watch and enjoy this cute elevated porch. The inside is fine- nothing special and not particularly romantic. Food: incredible. I recommend the tortellini aurora. It's to die for. You can't go wrong with any of their pastas. Also try the homemade meatball or the steamed mussels for an appetizer. Happy hour: the reason I keep coming back. They have top shelf liquor and really great wines all for only $5. The food on their happy hour is also AWESOME- specifically the mini tuna tartar ($7). Plus, the happy hour is from 4-9. Bon apetito!

I must be getting lucky this week with dining out because the experience we had here was exceptional . Jose was the best server we have experienced in all of Miami . Besides the outstanding 6 star service . The food was to die for . Everything came out to perfection . I'm a difficult one I like to special order things . I asked Jose if they can blacken my chicken I'm my fettuccine Alfredo & peppers & garlic . Got it! I don't ever eat leftovers but this was too good to not take home!!! Can't wait to get back to try everything else on the menu

The service is excellent here, and the food very good. We ordered the tuna tartar appetizer and it was incredible, with avocado in the mix. Our entrees were veal piccata, linguine with white clam sauce, meatballs and spaghetti, and grilled chicken. The veal was fork tender and the sauce was very good without being heavy handed. The meatballs were excellent and very large, and the linguine was also very good (although the fresh clams in the shell were quite small). The sauce on the pasta was good, although not remarkable. I didn't find the pasta overcooked: although I would've preferred it more al dente, I suppose they must cater to the average taste. Ask for al dente if you prefer it that way. There is outdoor dining available, and although it overlooks a rather busy road, the seating arrangement makes it more palatable.

I recently took my wife to this restaurant for a romantic dinner. Without them knowing it was her birthday, it was exceptional service. Food was prepare very quickly and it was Delicious. The manager came to our table which only enhance our experience, he was very kind and thankful. We would recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning. Prices were Great!!

This is an excellent Italian restaurant in Brickell. I've eaten here for lunch during the week and a few weekend dinners. The service has been consistently good. As for the food, I'm so glad I don't have to drive to Merrick or Bal Harbour anymore to get this fare. Haven't had a meal I didn't like. Good pizzas and pastas. Obviously, the carpaccio (dine-in) is excellent. They are good with special requests too. Recommended for business lunches in the mid-price range. Walk-ins welcome always. And now that they deliver, it will be very hard for me not to eat here every week.

My favorite restaurant! I have never had a dish I didn't like. The atmosphere is upbeat and fun, staff is very accommodating and efficient. I even have ordered delivery and they got everything to me quick and still hot! Also the happy hour lasts until all night which is a major plus in my book!!!! 5 stars

Excellent food and service. I had the Salmon Piccata and was very good. Also the Tuna Tartar was excellent!!! The Chef came out and asked how everything was . He even treated us to a sampling of desserts consisting of Coconut Flan, Cheesecake and Chocolate Soufflé with ice cream. Happy Hour from 4-7 and house wines are $5. Will definitely return

This place was recommended to me by a friend. We both live in Brickell and enjoy trying new restaurants in the area. My boyfriend and I decided to order delivery from here. My boyfriend and I really enjoy pasta and were told that the food here was amazing. After 2 Hours!!!! We called in to the restaurant to find out what the status was on our order. The person who answered the phone was just as clueless as I was as to what the status was. Apparently they did not know where their driver was and informed me that the driver was not answering his phone! He said to be patient that the food should be arriving because the driver had left the restaurant about 1 hour ago. Perfect.. Lol ... So to be clear... Not only did I have to wait 2 hours for the food but most likely it would be arriving cold! The person advised me to send back the food if it was cold & he would resend a new order when he received the cold food. All I can think is why does a delivery order have to be so complicated?!!! I live just a couple blocks from this restaurant, no more then a 5 minute drive. So 2 hours later I have to order from another restaurant that can apparently handle their delivery orders. I was less than impressed on the disorganization of the restaurant. I've heard good things and was completely disappointed when my first impression was this. Horrible service is just as bad as horrible food.

Spaghettino is a casual, classic Italian bistro tucked onto Brickell Ave. I came with my family and dog and we were welcomed as if it were our own kitchen. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly without being overbearing while the homemade pasta and indulgent flavors made for the perfect ambiance to enjoy a little family gossip, people watching and ... of course, plenty of wine.

Oh my gosh!!!! This place was a find! They've been open for 9 months and we found it through Yelp. The service was great. It was quite friendly and non-obtrusive. The vibe was fun, lighthearted but still modern. We got there at 7:30 and it was still happy hour. The drinks were $5! There were several appetizers that were $7-8. We had tuna tartare and BBQ chicken pizza for appetizers. Then for dinner, we had chicken Marsala and a pasta dish. Wheat linguine can be substituted for any of the pasta dishes. We will come back again.

I have to say I am biased toward the pollo parmigiana with spaghetti pomodoro because it is delicious, tasty, well-portioned, yet it's not heavy. Every time I have gone to Spaghettino I end up ordering the same thing because I love it! I have tried other dishes (from others on the table), like the tortellini aurora, the scaloppini milanese and the salmon, and they have all been delicious. The Italian Cheesecake is yummy too! This place feels like the food is home-cooked and the service is very good too. I have come here with friends, co workers and with family (my parents particularly loved the manager, René), and I will continue to go regularly. As for René, from the moment you walk in he makes you feel welcome and shows enthusiasm. You can tell he is very aware of everything that's going on and that he's very interested in making the experience a good one for customers. Lidia, a server, is also a great at making you feel catered to, and she provides very friendly, quick service. I highly recommend Spaghettino and it remains in my go-to list every time I'm craving a good home-cooked-like meal.

If you are lucky enough to be exposed to the Brickell area while you are in Miami, and if you appreciate a good pasta dish, you should consider Spaghettino as one of your top choices. For those who are not local, and do not know much about Miami, well, lets put it this way, Brickell is the Manhattan of Miami and you expect to have great eats in such a neighborhood. Spaghettino for sure does live up to this expectation. Any pasta dish you'd get will for sure be satisfying, and there is a lot of choice, so if you don't like A, there is B, C, D and E to chose from. If you don't fancy a pasta, want to go a little on the lighter side, be sure to try the Pollo Francese. The potato's and the veggies that are on the side are top notch, and well well, the chicken is just fantastic. I usually do not like zesty food, because a lot of places can't get it right, but this dish is for sure on the exception list. If you want to enjoy the great weather Miami almost always have to offer, the seating outside is great, not a big space, but you get to enjoy the fresh air experience. And it being on Brickell Ave, it is on the quieter side of things as compared to restaurants that are on Miami Ave. Pricing? The pricing is more than fair, I'd actually say it is even under priced for the food and the service you get. Can you tell that I am a fan?

I've been at the Mandarin Oriental Miami all week for work, wanted to take a walk & get some REAL food. Sat at the bar & the bartender Greg recommended the Chicken Parmesan which is one of my all time favorites. Well it didn't disappoint. Just like my fav place in North Beach, San Francisco! Great portions great sauce, not anything like the shi shi small dinner portions at the Mandarin. Come try this place for happy hour at the bar & I'm pretty sure you'll have a good time!!!

I was initially skeptical but the avocado carpaccio and the mussels set the record straight. An excellent addition to Brickell. It's a couple of blocks from home which makes it even better.

Great service and great food. The portions were really good and everyone was extremely friendly. It is not the most "authentic" Italian restaurant but let's be honest, Miami is not the place for Italian authenticity. Finding a moderately priced menu with friendly service is few and far between in this city. When my food arrives hot and my white wine is served cool I know I have found a great place. I can't wait to go back.

The service was horrible, ordered delivery staff did not want to give me total on a cash order, my order was wrong ordered chicken parm got veal parm the veil was rubbery and full of fat. Tasted like a cheap TV dinner, my other order chicken Marsala was stale and sauce was okay at best will never try this again

SP is the best Italian restaurant i have been in. some people don't know what italian food is lol but i do and its awesome and great service its so hard for me to mention my favorite dish because just about everything has it's own fabulous taste. i recommend as an appetizer to start would be the calamari and zucchini fried served with marinara sauce yumm and as an entree i recommend the Scaloppini portobello which is a veal scaloppini with a touch of Marsala wine, sliced with mushrooms!! :) awesome for parties and much more....thanks spaghettino, servers, and managers for a fabulous day at your restaurant.

The management and service at this location always cater to their guest. Therefore, it goes without saying that the service is great and the food is second to none. If you love Italian, Spaghettino's in Brickell is your place. Have fun, enjoy the atmosphere, and dig in! Also, if you enjoy cocktails as part of your dining experience, the bar manager is exceptional as well.

I live in the Plaza and go here all the time. It is without a doubt the best Italian place in Brickell. The pastas are all very good and the service is excellent. The outdoor seating area is also great. I will continue coming back here.

Great food , excellent atmosphere , ok service , not very friendly , overprice wine , doesn't match the prices of the food with the wine ($12 glass) , two food runners( not sure if they are food runners) talking next to my table really loud ,making me almost part of their conversation , one of them saw me looking at them , and they just move from there , went to the stairs , and kept talking and laughing like in the middle of the park . However I still give 4 stars because is the best pasta I've tried in Miami , just need a better service to be perfect

I have been a big fan of Carpaccio for years now and was more than delighted when I saw they opened a location in Brickell. The food is just as good if not better. They really used the outside well (compared to the restaurant that used to be there before) by adding the host on the street. The meat pomodoro pasta were delicious. I live in brickell and already went there 3 times. I can't wait for the day they start delivering. I just wish more people heard about it so that the restaurant stays open. We need those types of restaurants in Brickell!

Very friendly staff. Good prices. We had the calamari fritti which was great. The bolognese was very meaty which I love. The pasta portions are big so I took half home and had it the next day. Still delicious. Would recommend this place and will be back

This new place just opened up next to the office last week and I've been dying to go try it out, so today a coworker and I went there for lunch. We were welcomed with open arms before even passing though the front door. To start, they brought us a small pita and tomato dish, which was delicious. The food was good; I tried the Fettucini Alfredo. The portions were plentiful and it was just the right amount of Alfredo sauce, not like in some other places. The staff was very friendly and never let my glass of water get even half empty. All in all the place was very quick and efficient. My only tip: they should create some sort of "lunch specials" menu for the Brickell lunch crowd; it's always nice to go eat something nice without breaking the bank.

saturday nite was our second time here. it will not be our last. both times the food is great. fresh. good bread which is difficult to find in miami is served warm. we have had several dishes and all were very good. i would like their "gravy" to be a little less sweet but besides that nothing has been less then very good the two times we ate here. the service makes you feel like you are wanted.

You know their restaurants! This new one that opened in June is excellent. Wonderful room, great service and food. We went on Friday night for the first time and were not disappointed. We each started with the mista salad. I had the Lombata Parmagiana and my wife the Puttanesca pasta. The Lombata is a veal Parmagiana made out of a veal chop with the bone still attached. If you like a great veal parmagiana, this one is as good as it gets. The pasta was excellent and came out burning hot. The salads were great. As with all their restaurants, the service was excellent and any requests we had were met. Rubin, our waiter took great care of us. The moderate prices make everything a great value. We will certainly be back.

With all the great and authentic Italian restaurant there are in the Brickell and Downtown area, this place is a must avoid. I can't even call it italian, it's just a very bad knockoff. I got the Linguine alle Vongole and there was chicken stock in the sauce, absolutely disgusting. On top of that, the clams were old. My friend got spaghetti with meatballs, and those poor meatballs were so dry I felt bad for the meat. No wonder on a saturday night they were empty. Service is amateurial, some waitresses don't even speak english! And to top it off, prices are insanely high for such overall low quality. Never coming back, and so should you, there are many real authentic restaurant that will cost you much less and serve you some delicious stuff.

Bolognese sauce was very good but recommended appetizer octopus salad was unchewable. Music was too loud and dogs and smoking on porch made total experience terrible. We won't be back.

Dined at Spaghettino last night and loved it. We were a party of 7, never easy to please this size group, and they managed to over deliver and delight us effortlessly. From the manager's greeting, handshake and smile to his equally warm goodbye, we had a ball. For openers the delicious hot, crusty bread, served with herbed olive oil and italian hummus (hint of garlic) was perfect. Very few places have GREAt bread. Great apps, tuna tartare, grilled vegetables, calamari fritti with marinara sauce, lightly breaded asparagus, mozzarella wrapped in prociutto, all yummy. Entrees that delighted, salmon francese, chicken parmigiano, chicken with artichocks, chicken milanese and risotto with assorted seafood. The only problem was that we were too full to try desserts which all sounded delicious. And, for quality and portions, a tremendous value! A definite winner!!

My husband and I have eaten there twice and have been very pleased with the taste and quality of the food and the variety of their menu. The service was also excellent and the ambience is lovely. I took away one star because the music is just too loud which makes conversing rather trying. Otherwise, a fine establishment.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
