I live in the Little Havana area and slowly I have been trying all the local Chinese food places and this place has stood out amongst all the rest. I like the diversity of their menu and the fact that they serve hispanic food. So far I have only tried, honey garlic chicken, mongolian beef, General Tso chicken, and the Szechuan Chicken but they have all be excellent. The Honey Garlic chicken is some of the best I have ever had. Furthermore, I would suggest their dinner and lunch combos. They are affordable and the portion sizes are excellent.

At first glance, this place can give a bad first impression. The building is very old and smells ancient. This place can probably qualify as a UNESCO world heritage site, LOL. Although very artistically decorated, it is dimly lit and a bit drab. I enjoyed the decor very much. I sensed a busy energy within its walls but not one table was occupied. Later while seated and eating dinner, I discerned that the bustling atmosphere came from droves of people picking up their take out orders. Service was fair at best, I won't say it was poor service because the waitress did her job fine, but she lacked hospitableness. The food tasted typical. My senses were not extremely impressed but the meal was not of poor flavor. I ordered the General Tso dinner special. The serving was normal. It wasn't a heaping portion of food and the inexpensive pricing reflected this, which is fair. Besides the stench of humidity accumulated in the walls for years, I have to say this place is OK and I would eat here again, but only if its take out. It's a cool spot.

They fixed the place up on the inside, it looks nice and actually pleasant to eat there. I don't know if it's because of how it looks, but I would say the food tastes better too. The staff is friendly and helpful, great take out place.

Don't be scared to eat here. Yeah, it may look deserted and dreary but give it a try next time you walk. The portions and prices are very very reasonable. I usually go for the lo mein or honey chicken combos and they leave very satisfied. This place has been here for decades for a reason. Check it out.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
