Since my last review of this store I went back on my word and ordered from them again. The food really is good...too bad they don't get that food only gets you so far...service is extremely important to many people. Last night I placed an order at 9:11pm via online. After the 45-60 minutes had expired, I contacted the online order company Eat24 to find out what was going on. Their online reps are very nice and fast to respond. The reason I was given that the order was taking long was that, 'the restaurant apologizes for the delays they had a lot of orders come in today.' Anyone with me that THAT is not a good enough excuse. :-) So I was to wait 10-15 minutes more for the order. Which brings the wait time to almost an hour and a half. I can be at the place in 5 minutes from my house, so I offer to just go pick it up - which is not possible. Guess what happens about 10 minutes later. The driver calls. Lost - can't find my place. I assure you that my place is not complicated to find. It's on the same 3rd Avenue that Confucio is on. I have to give directions and even go outside on the street so the driver can see me. Really? Google maps? Navigation? The life of a delivery person is so easy in this technological era. I know I know...I live so close I should just ordered take out. But it's supposed to be our choice, yah? I pay the fee, I tip the driver I don't have to leave my house. So what do they offer the next day? 10% discount. That grand totals at $3.49. If you're going to buy my loyalty...BUY IT. At least offer a free appetizer or something next time. Can you imagine going to a reputable restaurant and something like this happening and they only offer you $3.49 when you are PAYING for service. You failed in service...so how about I just pay for the food cost...which is probably only $3.49! lol ::shakes head:: Should have stuck to being over them from the last time.

Chicken (and likely other food) sitting outside the restaurant (uncovered)!! Are you kidding me!? Don't eat there. See the 2 pictures we uploaded showing the food which sat outside the back door of the restaurant for god knows how long. Disgusting.

Only reason why I knock off a star is because there isn't much of a seating area and the one that they have is outside. With this Miami heat, having only an outside seating option is no bueno. Luckily, this place is perfect for takeout or delivery AND they're opening two locations soon! (One is in my neck of the woods-Kendall). My mom and I had their lunch special- $9.95 with their Oriental Fried Rice (which has the works- shrimp, chicken and pork) and an Eggroll. Their Fried Rice is really great though the eggrolls just didn't match up to the ones I'm used to (Lee's). The entree's themselves were delish- I suggest the Beef and Broccoli. The food is ready in no time for pickup and the people behind the small counter are nice. I love that they indicate that the portions are for 2-3 people because they are. You get a bang for you buck at this place if you have a couple of mouths to feed.

I think this is now my favorite Chinese in the downtown area. Their prices are very reasonable and given the large portion sizes you can easily get 3 or 4 servings out of a single dish. This is particularly sad given how close I live to Miss Yip! Bear in mind that this is really a take-out operation. Don't come here expecting to have dinner with your friends there... The chicken with broccoli is my favorite item on the menu.

I know that this little restaurant caters to Brickell, and therefore the prices will naturally be inflated, however I just don't think the food quality justifies the prices. The food was only slightly better than a normal chinese take-out restaurant, however the prices were almost double what I would have found to be a fair price. 1 shrimp w/vegetables 1 boneless spareribs meal 1 wonton soup 1 eggdrop soup 1 can of coke $40+ dollars?? Brickell and the surrounding downtown area needs more chinese take-out options. It seems like we either have cheap crap or expensive edible, nothing both wonderful and affordable.

I ordered a late lunch for delivery a Saturday afternoon for the W and me - the Mongolian Beef Fried Rice Dinner. It came with a Spring Roll and one Fortune Cookie. She said it was enough for two - and she was right. I wish she would have given me two fortune cookies! The Fried Rice was delicious with the chicken and pork (I asked for no Shrimp). The Mongolian Beef was chewy but not too fatty. I ordered the Chow Mein a second time and was very disappointed. It was not the Americanized Chow Mein but the hard noodles with a soup like sauce. It arrived in less than 30 minutes.

OMG!!! You guys have 2 try this place. Their fried rice is the best I've had since I had some of NY's awesome Chinese food. Especially, their fried rice. It's amazing! Also, the fried rice has different kinds of meat in it like shrimp, pork, etc. so you don't really have to have a meat, unless you absolutely have to have a big portion of it. I've reviewed another Chinese joint called Chef Tian before and stated that it was my favorite and it still is. The reason being is that Chef Tian's meat actually tastes better. If you ever go, try the Hung Shu Pork, it's fabulous. But, nothing can beat the fried rice from Confucio. It's 2 die for! Oh and Ive tried the Mongolian beef and the sweet and sour pork from Confucio and it was pretty good, but it was not as awesome as the Hung Shu Pork. I'd be nice if I could get the fried rice from Confucio and the meat from Chef Tian all in 1 meal. :-P

I rarely order food for delivery, but I was being a lazy ass and wanted somethin that would fill me up.. So, I did some reading around on yelp for some good delivery spots and I saw that Confucio Express got some good reviews, so I was like hells yea it's on..! I lived downtown, and wanted to make sure they delivered to my area, so when I called, I asked the guy if they delivered to downtown, and he quickly said, "No, bye bye" and hungup on my ass. hahhaa I was like, no this old mofo didn't.. haha So I called right back, but someone else picked up the phone this time, so I didn't curse him out.. I told him my address, he knew the condo where I was living right off the back, and he said they deliver there all the time.. I was like damn, the old guy was hatin. haha ANYWAY, I order General Tao Chicken (House Specialty) and Honey Garlic Chicken (Dinner Special).. Damn, it was enuff to feed 4 fat dudes that haven't eaten in days..! lol General Tao Chicken was AWESOME..! SO, if you hungry and don't feel like getting up, just give this place a call, you will thank me in the morning. :-) ALSO, you can order online at : confucio-express.com (which is good, if you don't feel like talking.. hahaha)

Yeah, I liked it. A lot. I was driving around downtown yesterday trying to get a better understanding of my new neighborhood and stumbled upon this area barely southwest of Brickell. A lot of cool little mom and pop shops, but what stood out was Confucio Express. The menu is simple and straightforward. I ordered the Mongolia Chicken which could have fed 3 people along with a few egg rolls. I could really tasted the ingredients, from the ginger, garlic and onions to the surprisingly tender chicken all in a nicely spiced sauce over perfectly steamed rice. I look forward to ordering takeout again very soon. Meal was $11 with a large side or white rice. They deliver throughout the downtown.

After working at a genuine NY style Chinese takeout place I am inevitably a good judge of the food. I was apprehensive to order since it looked too "pretty" and thought what it had in design it would lack in flavor. I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the honey garlic chicken combo with lo mein and an egg roll. Boy was that good! The way that I always judge a good takeout restaurant is by trying the dumplings and needless to say they were AWESOME. I am so happy that I found my new favorite takeout place.

Yes, I am a fan. On a lazy weekend where venturing outside our apartment was out of the question, we scoured our delivery options in the Brickell area and decided on Confucio Express. SO glad we did. The portions were huge and the rice tasted great! We also ordered the honey garlic chicken, which was delish-- I especially liked that it wasn't just deep fried batter with minuscule chicken pieces -- there was actually good-sized pieces! I have pretty low expectations for most Chinese places in Miami but this place restored my faith.

Decided to go for a Tuesday night dinner with my girlfriend and family and ended up at this little hotspot. When the food came out we got a little intimidated because it looked like most "chinese" food in Miami -- "making you feel dirty" as my dad and girlfriend say. Ultimately, we all got stuffed and couldn't say enough about how good the food was. My girlfriend and I live in the area so we definitely found the quick and scrumptious Chinese spot in our hood.

This has to be my favorite fried rice in Miami! Luckily the location is very close to my house and offers delivery. Each combo comes with enough food to feed two HUNGRY people! More often than not, you will have leftovers from just one combo dinner after two have eaten very well. Who just orders one combo though? I'm a fan of ordering a couple different dishes and enjoying a variety of tastes. They are not very punctual in their delivery though. I ordered today and was told that it would arrive within 30-40 mins. It took a little over an hour for the food to arrive. When it did arrive, my mother, grandmother and myself enjoyed the freshly prepared feast. I am a huge fan and will continue to order from this little hidden gem.

The best thing about Confucio? You have enough left-overs for another meal, all for around $10! Great for lunch! I was on a weekly Confucio lunch run for several weeks, and was never disappointed. As stated in several other reviews the house fried rice alone is worth the trip and is almost a meal. Includes: chicken, pork, shrimp, sprouts, egg. Items devoured: Honey Garlic Chicken Chicken Lo Mein General Tao Chicken Mongolian Beef Mongolian Chicken Kinda unique in the fact it is Chinese owned, only they are from Colombia. According to a Colombian co-worker of mine there is a more upscale location Barranquilla, Colombia - Jardines de Confucio. A must for Chinese food lovers, as there is not much of a selection in South Fl.

Just because this little spot is blocks from my house doesn't make me love it any more than I would if I were to move to the Keys! The price is right for the huge portions they serve. I'm a honey chicken and fried rice kind of girl, and the restaurant serves the best in town!

So my husband and I ordered delivery at 10:15pm on a Friday night and Confucio Express answered our call. We had shrimp low mien, mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken and pan fried pot stickers...we had enough food for 6-7 people. The bill was $55.00 Not bad considering we could have fed most of our neighbors. So, here is the deal. The low mien was good, a bit greasy but good - lots of noodles and veggies - a little skimpy on the shrimp. The mongolian beef was delicious. I like the ginger chunks. The sweet and sour chicken was really good expect for the sauce. The chicken was white meat and juicy with just the right amount of crispy but not too hard breading. The sauce on the other hand was runny, like they watered it down. The pot stickers were just okay...a little thin on the dumpling part but adequate. All in all, good but not great. I have had much better food for about the same price on the West Coast...any other Chinese delivery suggestions out there in downtown Miami???

If your idea of a great Chinese food experience is PF Chang's, then this place probably isn't for you. It sits next door to one of those Farm Stores Express dairy drive thru's, is about the same size, and shares about the same ambiance. But if you're looking for delicioso Chinese take out (I understand that they deliver, too), that's fast, not greasy, generously portioned, and not heart-stoppingly expensive, then Confucio Express is the cat's meow. For my inaugural visit last night I called ahead for General Tso's Chicken. I found the place with little difficulty and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and efficient the operation seemed to be. The folks at the counter were super nice, and even introduced me to a bit of Colombian music using the mysterious instrument they had sitting on the counter - no extra charge for the floor show. The bill was $14.00, a bit steep for my takee-outee pocketbook, but I withheld judgement on the place until I got back to my crib. Once there I turned on "Family Guy," popped a PBR tall boy and opened up the bag. And I knew I'd gotten plenty of food for the price I paid. The chicken was perfectly breaded and cooked; the sides of broccoli and white rice were steamed to perfection. As a professional photographer ( VeryStretchy.com ) the golden chicken and bright green broccoli inspired me to make visual art from this culinary art, but alas, somehow a plastic fork ended up in my hand before a camera. The meal was perfectly packaged for take-out, and required no accoutrements other than those in the bag. Hell, I didn't even need a table. If I'd not been absolutely famished and sans-refrigerator I'd have been perfectly satiated with half the meal for dinner and half saved for another full meal the next day. Instead I savored every bite right down to the last grain of rice, finished up my PBR, watched the credits roll at the end of the only series on tee-vee worth watching, and drifted off into sleepyland. If they could only knock a few dollars off the price I'd give Confucio Express five stars, but I reckon Miami is as Miami does.

This is the BEST take-out Chinese in Miami!! It is a bit pricey and worth every penny. The chicken in the fried rice was fresh and there was plenty of it. Everything I have ordered was great. The place is small and some what dingy. That aside, this place is my go to choice for take-out Chinese.

Owner is extremely personable, nice, and friendly. I've also encountered some of the other employees and the service was exceptional. Went in for some good takeout and became a fan. Food is made fresh to order, and they have a nice vegetarian section of the menu ;) I ordered the tofu and vegetables and it was amazing. They don't short you on tofu like most Chinese restaurants either, my box was brimming with cubes of tofu and fabulous tasting fresh veggies. My beau says it's some of the best fried rice and honey chicken he's had in a long time. He said his egg roll was okay and my spring roll was just okay too, so I think it's best to stick to entrees. Reasonable prices, fast fresh food and customer oriented! Definitely give this place a try :)

The Chinese Secret of Brickell ! My wife and I have lived in the Brickell area for 6 years and have been trying every new restaurant as they pop up. We are hooked on this Confucio place! Whenever the conversation is going nowhere as far as agreeing where to eat and as frustration sets in; we turn to each other and know; Grab Confucio. The food is great, the quantity is huge, and the price is unbeatable!! Much better than P.F. Changs at less than half the price! So, whether its a "rent a movie" night or last minute ideas of people coming to our house, we call Confucio Express.

I want to state up front that I did not eat here. I was going to order delivery based on the Yelp reviews. I did a google search to see if I could locate a menu online and came across a site that shows this establishment has 21 recent sanitary and safety violations. Eep! Not worth getting sick IMO. Here is the link to what I found: miami.everyblock.com/res…

The Food Used to be great, but I think they changed their food source, general tso chicken isnt good anymore, the fried rice is still pretty good, but was def a lil better before the switch.

I will go as far to say as this place is the best food for the money in Miami. Although they have a full menu, I love the simplicity of their lunch and dinner specials. Basically everything from Pork, Beef, Chicken and Seafood, in a container packed with a GENEROUS serving of fried rice and an egg roll is a standard price of 8.95 for Lunch and 11.95 for Dinner. The fried rice itself spares no protein, it is loaded with shrimp and ham and chicken. So far I have sampled their BBQ Pork, Chicken Lo Mein, General Tao Chicken and their Mongolian Beef (about 3 times). The quality of their products are really superior to your normal chinese take out place and I even believe their food is better than PF Changs. My only gripe is that you cant really go to eat there unless you want to sit out on patio style furniture and that their delivery radius is limited to brickell and the roads. Other than that Its my favorite Chinese place in miami! Who cares if they are Colombian!

  • Adriana D.

okay, I've gone back several times now (both delivery and take out) and I can say with total confidence that this is my favorite chinese place right now...hands down! their food is incredibly fresh, remarkably tasty, and well-priced. the owner and the staff are very friendly and every experience I've had since my first has just gotten better and better. any time I'm craving egg drop soup (SO much yum), egg rolls (so flavorful), or any other chinese, I will not hesitate to pick up the phone (or order on line) and savor the goodness that is Confucio Express!!

    (5)
  • Christopher S.

I used to love this place, now they totally bit the dust on their quality of product. As it is there's not any solid Chinese takeout in Miami and this place WAS the best.... I've given this place 3 times to redeem themselves and each time the taste was mediocre... maybe new management?

Well, my husband and I were craving Chinese food last night. And we ordered from Confucio Express. My favorite dish is Honey Chicken.. Absolutely love it from this place.. The special fried rice is great as well. It arrived 30 mins later.. But the chicken was honeyless.. No honey for honey chicken.. How can it be?? It was just chicken.. I forgive them this time.. because the food is the best in the area.. They better put double honey on my honey chicken next time.. :)

Second best chinese delivery in brickell.....used to be the best even though it wasn't great. China Garden in Key Biscayne delivers to Brickell now. They are actually Chinese (not Colombian) and used to do the takeout thing in the Northeast. So all you NY/Boston/DC/SF/LA types order from Key Biscayne instead. Much more satisfying....that being said. Confucio is fine, but all the food definitely has a South American vibe to it......the rice is definitely not Asian, and the chicken and broccoli while tasting good would be at home on any Dominican plate. I actually throw some beans on the rice when I've ordered it in the past and didn't miss a beat. Just tasted like mediocre Dominican food. Egg rolls are good, but in general it's WAY overpriced. I get far better food in NYC for 10 minute delivery for 5 dollars. At Confucio it will set me back 13-17 bucks. Crazy prices for subpar food.

  • Rick R.

Pretty good place. The rice had waaaaaaaaaaay too many chinese roots (i think thats what they are called, they kind of look like noodles), but of course they aren't. The orange chicken tasted NOTHING like any other orange chicken I have ever tried. Service was very good, I ordered delivery and they were very nice on the phone and very prompt in delivering my order.. Will probably order again but with no roots in my rice and some other type of meat or chicken. Hopefully next time it will be a bit better. I recommend trying the place out because I didn't love it but I know several people that absolutely do.

A friend of mine recommended this place and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered from their dinner special menu ($12) and the portion was huge. I had enough left for lunch the next day. Delivery was quick! But there's a $3 delivery charge. Other than that, great food! If you can handle sweet chicken (even when you don't think it will be sweet: Szechuan Chicken, which should be spicy, is sweetly glazed with pineapple? what?). If you can handle really really greasy noodles, and gloopy beef, you can handle this...but it's not very good. it satisfies a craving when you need grease or sweet. We've ordered from them 5+ times because they're the only chinese delivery we knew about, but each time it's definitely meh. the portions are fairly large and the chicken is white meat. we ordered different things every time. This last time we threw out most of it, rather than save for leftovers, which for hungry grad students is a crime.

  • Maris D.

The rice was either old or under cooked. It was hard and taste less. The Mongolian chicken was burnt and what flavor it did have was crappy, not chinese at all. What a let down and what a rip-off at $30 for two dinners!!! YUKKKKK NEVER AGAIN!!! We called and asked for the manager but they never called us back. The General Tso tasted good but was cold. Compared to the rest of the crap they brought us, it was okay but we really had little to compare it to. Our taste buds were destroyed.

My boyfriend was dying to have Chinese buffet, and I needed a way out. So I yelped Chinese, and came across Confucio Express. I convinced him to try it out, and we were not let down. They specialize in take-out and delivery, but there are three little tables to sit at if you want to eat it there, and so we did. Everything was delicious. The food was very good quality which is rare to find at a Chinese joint. What I really loved was that it wasn't overly salty. I recommend the lettuce wraps, they are outstanding, and low carb. We also had the special fried rice and the Mongolian chicken, and everything was awesome. PS The portions are huge, you should defintely share.

I've ordered from here a bunch of times now. I still really like the food but I do have to say that it is a little pricier than most other Chinese restaurants. The portioning is very generous and the delivery quick but I have also noticed that the shrimp in my fried rice are shrinking just enough to notice. hmmmm.

First and last time eating there. I decided to try this place since it's only blocks from my house and ratings were decent. This is honestly poor tasting "Chinese" food. Ordered the honey garlic chicken, egg rolls and special fried rice. At first my husband and I thought they mistakenly gave us the sweet and sour sauce for the dry chicken because it tasted nothing like honey garlic. The egg rolls were a disgrace, the sauce they provided for them was plain nasty(THAT must've been sour sauce). Only thing that was edible was the fried rice, but I have made better rice at home. I must say this is the worst restaurant I have been to in years, especially for the price. I honestly think they must be getting these ratings from the delivery men that sit and chat outside trying to keep their jobs.

Look this place is cheap, like feeds four for under $30.00. They deliver and you can order online. The fried rice and mongolion beef is super good. And if you live in the Brickell area they are at your apt in uner 30 minutes. This is the best bet for Brickell Chinese delivery

  • Alex M.

Over 2 hrs for delivery, WTF. If that wasn't bad enough they were unapologetic about they're tardiness. Lots of attitude on the phone there are lot's of other restaurants who would appreciate the business. Never again.

whoa, ushered me back to my university days of eating takeout chinese-american in the midwest... they are actually chinese from colombia and the menu was first in spanish, heh. the food is wok stir fried on the spot, so is fast. no "real" items, just typical chinese-american fare.

Confucio express in an excellent option for those of us who live in the Brickell/Downtown/Coral Way area. They are very well located in order to deliver to the downtown and Coral Gables area. This is the best chinese food in town. It is not 100% chinese but more of a blend between chinese and latin; making it a better version of chinese food. Prices are very low. Their lunch special is under $10 and the portion is ridiculous (HUGE). What I like to order: Special Fried Rice Mongolian Beef Lo mein (with chicken or steak) Sweet and sour chicken Call them for a quick delivery and enjoy staying at home.

BUYERS BEWARE I will never order from this place again. I used to love it - but no food is worth the hassle that comes with it. My husband was in the mood for Chinese and we ordered to have it delivered. Behold a few days later - we were double charged. When I called they were aware of the problem - but yet wanted me to send them a copy of my bank statement showing my account information so that they could refund me. When I explained to them that it was private financial information they answered very rudely that they could do nothing about it. Complete thieves - I will never again order from this place - completely ruined for me - I should have read some of the previous posting and noticed that this was happening often with them.

Wonderful little place though not what I expected at first. I drove by and realized it is almost strictly for take out only (and delivery) because you just cant sit inside. But there are a few chairs n tables outside. Speaking of outside, to me the place didnt look so great. BUT the people working inside were sooo nice. It was kind of a shock walking in and having the Chinese man speak Spanish to you haha. Food came out fast too and all made fresh meaning nothing had been sitting there waiting to be eaten. Nice big portions like everyone has been saying. I got one of the combo specials where you get an egg roll, fried rice and whatever meat. Plenty of food for 2 people. Garlic honey chicken was what i got and it was pretty good. Fried rice was great too. Also got the fried dumplings which were alright but I think i much prefer steamed.

Will never order from here again. The food was mediocre but the worst part was that they were an hour and half late with the food. We called first politely, then a little annoyed and finally aggravated. They lied to us the first time saying the driver had left and it would be 5 minutes. The second I asked them to call the driver while I waited on the line and they hung up on me. The third time was just plain ridiculous. I don't know what kind of place they're running over there but they just lost a few customers who love chinese food....

I give this place 5 stars because in my opinion it is the best Chinese food in Miami and we all know Chinese food in Miami SUCKS. That being said, this place was delicious! We opted to go to the restaurant because we were in the mood to do a little dining. Unfortunately, the place is really small and only has a couple of tables outside. Being it's 94 out and almost 100% humidity, we opted to do take-out. We stayed confident because of all the positive reviews we read on Yelp before venturing to the restaurant. We were not disappointed! Fried rice with pork at a Chinese restaurant is pretty standard stuff. Fried rice with pork, chicken, and shrimp AND included...YES PLEASE. It was very fresh and extremely good. I read a few reviews about cold food and such, but getting take-out ensured for hot freshness. We also had Pepper Steak and General Tso's chicken. I have already recommended it to some of my friends and will continue to spread the word.

Wow...I never thought I would have to leave a review like this. I had a craving for Chinese food and for lack of choices I decided to go with delivery from here. What a huge mistake. I ordered wonton soup for four dollars and there is not one wonton in the container there are floating pieces of pork and pieces of wonton but not one wonton. I also ordered the honey garlic chicken. It was not crunchy I'm not even sure that it was cooked all the way through. I also ordered the special fried rice that everyone raved about. The shrimp were mushy and it had no flavor. The dumplings were greasy and soggy. And to top everything off, they didn't even bring me crispy noodles for my wonton soup or even Chinese mustard. I will never order from here again. I've never been so disappointed with every single thing I ordered from any restaurant, ever, but, I guess there's a first for everything. Follow-up... They sent someone from the restaurant unannounced to take the food back. It's been an hour and a half since they delivered it! OMG! Yes, I packed it up and gave it to her to bring so they could issue me a refund.

Writing this update is like doing a 360 for me because this is where my Yelp history starts to take shape. Around the time of the original review, I had been using websites to find cool places to eat, but I found most websites to be a toss up, or a gamble, because no website had detailed reviews, dedicated gourmands, or foodies, and this made reliability an issue. That's when I found Yelp. This is the first restaurant I found through Yelp, and I loved Confucio Express, so much, that I gave them a five star rating after I finished my meal. With this experience, I took it upon myself to spread gourmandise in less than 5000 characters at a time. The rest is Yelp history. About Confucio Express... they have become wishy-washy. They have never packed a bad meal (strictly take out), but sometimes the meals have been blah. It doesn't happen many times, they still have very good food, but sometimes they don't put enough meat on their entrees, or not enough sauce, or the dish may be a bit overcooked. The taste is always good, but yes, sometimes things are subpar. Sometimes they skimp on meats, other times they economize on the sauces. For example, sometimes the lo-mein could be dry. Other times, dishes could be overcooked, like the battered chicken/pork used with sweet and sour sauce (or honey garlic). Not always, but it's happened sometimes. Maybe it is just time for Confucio Express to revamp the menu. It's been quite some time with the same menu, things may get a bit boring. At the same time, Chinese food doesn't really change, but maybe they need different ingredients. I don't know. The bottom line is that Confucio Express used to be a really great Chinese take out, and now they have become an OK take out joint. I mean, if I am in the area and I am craving Confucio Express, I am getting my Confucio fix. But if I were to recommend a take out in the area, I don't know if they would still be the first one to come to mind. I guess people change. And so do restaurants. Good luck Confucio Express.

Meh. This place is so so. The food is good sometimes you get good service and sometimes you don't. Usually the person on the phone lacks knowledge of the menu. I always pay 30$ for food just for myself which is a little expensive given its only Chinese rice and honey chicken. I usually order At night. On one occasion they refused to take my order because I was paying cash and it was too late at night. Honestly don't know what business loses money just because it's too late at night and they don't want to risk it. I cancelled my order and I wasn't gonna order from them again. But I really couldn't find anyone in my area competent enough to take my order so I'm stuck with them whenever I want Chinese food.

Finally found a good chinese place in Brickell - FINALLY!! We've tried several chinese places in the area & have to say this is the best one in town. We've only ordered delivery so I'm not sure about the in dining experience but so far we have had good takeout meals here. To order - crab rangoons are a must! Also I highly recommend the veggie lo mein - really one of the best I have had here in Miami. I have to say the wonton soup is average. We also ordered the spring rolls which were delish and the special fried rice which was very good. A little pricey for chinese food but since it's the best around can't really complain about the price.

BEWARE! These people will never deliver your order and will screen your call and never answer. We ordered enough for 7 adults at our child's party. Two hours later we were able to get through on another phone number since they never picked up when I called. The admited they never prepared anything and the cooks left for the day. They Had The Guile To Offer 20% Off On The Next order. I hate reviewing restaurants without giving them a second chance, but these people were too rude. I guess they have enough business that they don't care. By the way, they're not even chinese. Stay away.

Definitely the best Chinese rice I've tried in this area. They have lunch and dinner specials and the portions are generous. Besides their yummy fried rice I like their sweet and sour chicken, wontons and chicken wings. My family likes the Mongolian beef. We order for pick up and they usually have it ready when we get there. I do think they are overpriced considering the type of establishment (very small with limited seating outside).

Fresh tasting Chinese that is not greasy. They deliver and give large portions. It is not your ordinary Chinese takeout greasy, all fried, with MSG. This definitely tastes fresher and as healthy as can be!

First time ordering: They forgot my cokes.... But quickly brought back to me... Order arrived quick, beef and broccoli was great.. Fried rice was great, vegetable soup was awesome, the egg roll that came with the combo was ehh.. More like a spring roll.. I will order again from them...

Where do I begin? Oh yea, my food's still not here. But Confucio doesn't seem to care. Don't get me wrong, they make a decent fried rice and the portions are large... But wow. I have never experienced such crappy service in my entire life! I ordered my food over two hours ago, and the wait continues. When I called, they advised it would be about 1 hour for delivery, as they were backed up. Concerned it may take too long, I asked if that was an accurate estimate. I was told it was. Now, this isn't the first time I have received terrible service at Confucio. Between the forgotten egg rolls and honey sauce (when we called about the missing honey sauce once, they told us it would be about 1.5 hours until another driver could bring that by; but that we shouldn't worry, because their containers are designed to keep food hot and fresh for up to 3 hours.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??), and the absolute lack of service when I've stopped by for take-out (is it really that difficult for the cashier to put the phone down and stop chit chatting with her girls when a customer walks in?), going there is always an experience. A terrible experience. Until today, I let it slide. The place is right down the block from my place and is on my way home from work; the convenience really got me. After literally 11 phone calls (they are no longer answering the phone), I can only hope I'll be able to get this transaction revoked by my bank. Needless to say, I will NEVER order from Confucio again. I recommend you stay away too.

My office ordered here once, and I have to say that this is probably the worst "Chinese" food I have tried in Miami. I can't even call this 'Chinese" food, since I would be insulting over one billion people. Chinese cuisine is my favorite, and I have Chinese food when I travel. I regularly dine with friends from mainland China and Taiwan, and I can vouch to know this cuisine quite well.

General Tsos chicken here is the most amazing thing on earth. My brother ordered it when he was in town and I tried it and wow. Real good. My order tasted like nothing though. The real kicker here is there delivery order taker does not speak English and kept hanging up on us because she was frustrated. If it wasn't for my brother being addicted to Chinese, I would not have tried so hard to place an order. It shouldn't take 3 phone calls and 9 minutes to order Chinese.

When I tried to redeem my check in offer they said yelp never told them about the promo, and the lady on charge was not informed at all. Apparently good service is not one of her concerns

Low sodium option works a treat. I find Chinese food in the US to be very salty. These guys are happy to cater for my pallet! The dinner specials are very tasty, we go for the beef and brocolli or wings combo. Service is very good, most guys are very clear on the phone. Although I do sometimes get someone who doesn't speak good english which drags out the ordering process (but this is Miami!). We don't get Chinese takeaway from anywhere else! Keep it up guys! 5* for taste, quality, value for money and a great mid week eat.

This place is actually from Colombia, and some Colombian Chinese dude partnered with a colombian guy in soflo.. While it is not the best chinese per say, i really think its the best in the "chinese" category here in Miami. Miami does not have a huge selection of quality authentic ethnic restaurants. There are few really good indian, middle eastern, chinese, etc etc. I would recommend the mongolian beef, the confucio special rice with the red carne (not sure what carne it is but its delicious who cares) The wonton soup and egg rolls are also money. Mainly this place gets my stamp of approval because of its colombian heritage; i am a big fan of products from colombia, the arepas, the soccer is OK, the women are the best among other things.......

Came in with my yelp checkin for a free item. So the guy offers to give me a free egg roll but the problem is it al ready comes with an egg roll so I say well what about a soup since it comes with an egg roll then he says oh no we don't accept that anymore. So I said then it would be a good idea not to advertise it. Wow! Blew me away. I used to own a restaurant and I would never have said that I would definitely have honored it if it was advertised. But food was pretty good I must say. Don't know if it's good enough for me to go back though after that experience. Too bad!

I was watching the walking dead season finale with friends and we order in this place. They never arrived, avoid our calls and finally, two hours of waiting later, they said they were closed. In the end. We didn't have dinner because of them. Super angry. Don't ever order to go here!

Placed a delivery order and oh wow, that was fast! I was just getting the table ready! Best fried rice in town! Very vey affordable, and the guy on the phone was a sweetheart. Confucio, get ready because I'm going to be calling a lot.

I have to say I was a fan of the food until I received the worst service in my life on 10/12/13. I ordered extra egg rolls and the cashier did not understand my order. Apparently my English was too proper for them to understand. Mind you I'm bilingual. Instead of correcting the ordered she kept arguing and giving me attitude until I told her to charge me for the food so I can leave. What happened next was unbelievable. She threw my debit card on the counter and refused to give me the rest of my order and said that she would not serve me. It is very apparent that they don't have any respect for the clients or value customer service. I know I'm not the only one, nor the last to experience something like this. Just wanted to give you all a heads up. I will be finding a better Chinese restaurant!!!!

Okay so I already said I love this place. I already said I love the food and the service is fantastic. So what am I going to do, say I love this place even more? Yes!! I love this place even more than before! Sort of like my wife! I love them a little more every day! lol!! In all seriousness, tonight I ordered something and what I really wanted wasn't on the menu. A few minutes after I put in the order I get a phone call from the restaurant. They offered to make me a custom order and I just basically melted right there. I feel like they really genuinely care about how I feel and the happiness of my culinary experience even if I'm not actually at their location but just ordering out. Yes, today, I love this place a little more. Thank you Confucius Express!

I love this place. It appears small and quaint yet the food is anything but! Great food that's always fresh and delicious. The portions are huge. I recommend this place for take out rather than dine-in. Fast service too!

Good Chinese food. Their rice always comes fresh and hot. I order from them atlas once a week. Only complaint is their prices are a little expensive for take out or deliver Chinese.. But compared to other Chinese I guess its worth it.. I keep ordering.. LOL..

The search continues... I am looking for really exceptional Chinese take out in Miami and my quest ultimately to me here. I will say this about the place, this was easily the freshest Chinese food I've had in Miami so far. And the food itself wasn't bad per se, but it wasn't great either. The general tso's chicken didn't taste like general tso's chicken to me. It wasn't spicy and the chicken was not breaded. The BBQ pork was pretty good. I actually like mine a little fattier, but the flavors were right. Delivery was prompt and prices were ok (about $30 for 2 entrees). Not bad, but I am still on the hunt for something that blows me away.

  • Griff W.

We love this place. Their "spicy" dishes aren't spicy at all, so if you really like some heat you'll need to ask them to kick it up some - no question - just do it... or you'll be disappointed in the lack of heat.... That's our only drawback. Both me and my better half NEVER order Mongolian Beef (too bland for us), but on one of our first "dinner in dates" we ordered it as a "safe bet" and it rocked. Never before has such a bland dish had such great flavors. Want to mix proteins or create a combination? The Brickell location has done it several times for us (SPICY Shrimp or Chicken Lo Mein rocks).. Oh, and as the others have said... B e s t F r i e d R i c e ever... Soup, egg roll and fried rice is a really satisfying meal.

Best Chinese take out we have had in a long time. I recommend honey garlic chicken and crab ragoons. It was so good I even ate the egg roll. Im glad we found this spot

If the food weren't so good I would never order from here. Customer service is one of the worst I've encountered. Every single time we order, they "never received our order" or they deliver to the wrong house or charge the wrong credit card. My favorite: spring rolls and oriental fried rice

Wasn't feeling well today, so I decided to visit my Yelp! App to help me decide what to order for dinner. Decided to call Tien Kue inn, but after being told I would be waiting more than an hour, I decided to look at Confucio Express. Couldn't decide what to have, so I ordered a wonton soup,an egg drop soup, 5 crab rangoons, Mongolian chicken, and an order of Confucio special rice. Wow. Just what the doctor ordered! Both soups were awesome, the rice feeds an army(not to mention has large shrimp and pork slices topping it), the Mongolian was huge and tasty, and the rangoons were better than Pei Wei( although they could improve on the dipping sauce consistency and quantity). Spent 50 dollars, but had enough food for 3 sittings. Definitely recommend this spot if you have company and don't want to slave over the stove, not to mention, the online ordering through EAT24 was a synch, and it was at my door in less than 45 minutes.

Colombians doing Chinese right! Is a very interesting concept to understand. These people have taken traditional chinese dishes (the ones we eat in America off course) and added a bit of magic, a pinch of wit, and a whole lot of intensity. Must keep in mind that their portions can feed two people. Their special rice is AMAZING and any combination works perfect with it. I want to do a separate paragraph honoring their "EGG ROLLS" those have some magic powers inside. These come with a special Pink sauce that just intensifies the flavors inside each roll. Must try them, you get one with every lunch or dinner special. You won't go wrong with any item on their menu. I always venture into the Honey-Garlic Chicken, The Lo-Mein, Sweet & Sour Chicken, I can just go on and on because they are all my favorite... For the amount of food it is well priced. Perfect food to have a chinese party at home! They deliver, have take out or a small seating area. Either way the food is fantastic.

Way overrated!!! We ordered there after hearing the hype. We are from the NE and this place wouldn't last a week there up there. The food is almost all fried and sauces are average at best. We won't order there again.

  • David M.

Salty, greasy and not Chinese. They should have a couple of real Chinese items on the menu. No Chinese broccoli, which is entry level for legitimate, which is absurd because that is an easy get. No Kung Pao, which is also an easy get. So, if you want American-Chinese food in huge portions that are over seasoned, its acceptable. If you want real Chinese Food, its not Confucio.

Orange chicken was gross. Fried rice was ok....egg rolls just ok. Why is it so hard to find good orange chicken in brickell????!!!! I heart Panda Express :( won't be ordering from confucio express again.

Like others before me I have to rave about the honey garlic chicken and schezwan beef. Good Chinese food, made quickly. I think a reasonable price for the portion size. Must try the sliced BBQ pork appetizer.

For take-out Chinese, this place really hits my spot. I've had several around Downtown and this one is by far my favorite. Prices are not cheap if you order outside of the specials, but the portions are bigger than what you would get in other places. Eat-in is a doable option here (although you'd be eating outdoors at one of the tables by the window or out in the back patio.) Friendly service, good food, decent prices, and it delivers to Brickell/Downtown/Park West. Score!

If theres one thing that is hard to find in Miami- it's good Chinese food. I've been on the hunt ever since I first moved here. Its either yummy but too pricey, pricey but not yummy, or ok on price but not what you want out of Chinese food. Now I ordered off of the dinner selection and got General Tso's YUMMY! This place may be a little more $$ than I'm looking for, but until I find another place this will be where I'm getting my Chinese food fix for now :0) Delivery takes a million years though...

OK, I used to love this place. I mean really love this place. But on 10/3/11 I ordered the dinner special of Sliced BBQ Pork Combo. It got delivered & I ate. About 10:30pm that night I was vomiting among other things. I'm going to save the horrible details but I missed the next day of work because of this bad, old, or just not right food. Then to add insult to injury, today I checked my account to find that Confucio Express ran my Credit Card twice for this one food poison meal. When I called them to ask for a correction on the second overcharge, all of a sudden nobody at the damn place speaks ENGLISH. LOL All I know is that I WILL NOT BE SPENDING AT THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN.

I like this place. Their platters feed more than 2 people and for the most part the food is usually good. Every once in a while I will get food that isn't that great but it is a small mom and pop shop and I guess that is expected...you know chef quits or calls in sick.

I wanted Chinese. It was raining. I didn't want to get rained on. I decided to order delivery. The person on the phone was well spoken as previously stated and I already knew what I wanted to order: Sweet and sour chicken General Tao chicken Special fried rice with no veggies I gave the order, scoffed at the price that was quoted me, and then waited. I was told it would be 45 minutes and instead it took 75 minutes. I am chalking this up to calling on a Friday night when it is raining outside. When the food arrived, though, I was more surprised at the size of the package. It was humongous. I didn't feel so bad about spending so much at that point since it would feed an army for a day or me for a week. I immediately started eating the food out of the containers and was not pleased. The special fried rice was not very special. It didn't taste good. I tried to eat it, but the flavor that came to my mouth was the reason that I hated fried rice for so many years. I immediately went to the General's chicken. I ate one piece. Nothing more. It was the worst General's chicken I have ever eaten. I gave up expecting something consistent for General Tao's chicken a while ago; but it really must taste good. I moved on to the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Ah...this tasted good. Thank god something wasn't bad. I made the rest of my meal out of the Sweet and Sour and the white rice that came along with it and saved the remainder. Since no one was willing to eat the Special Fried rice or the General's Chicken, they went to the trash. If I was in downtown and tasting Sweet and Sour chicken, I would order from them again; but nothing else.

OMG! What happened to this place!?! How would you feel if you were placed on hold for 15 LONG HUNGRY minutes just to place a delivery order???? I ordered from here atleast 4 times a month and have told numerous people about how GREAT this place was....but now i'm going to have to take that back! I asked to speak to the manager to hopefully RESOLVE this issue so that i wont lose faith in this place, but all "Andreas" did was say he wasn't the manager (after i was transferred to him). Instead of apologizing for the wait and taking my order immediately, and maybe contacting the person at the restaurant to take the order (and make MONEY, i was placing a $100+ order today!!!) he was RUDE and unhelpful. I CAN'T believe this would happen here!!! WHY!? CONFUCIOUS EXPRESS you've changed SO much for the worse! You even used to call me to make sure the order was correct, but now I cant even contact someone there for help! WHY WHY WHY???

I've only actully ordered delivery, but in the last 2 weeks I've already ordered 3 times. The fried rice here is incredible, I recommend the "Confucio Special Fried Rice". I personally enjoy ordering the Mongolian Beef & the Chicken Lettuce Wraps as well.

Well once again I find these little places that I stumble on to. Met the owner Carlos and asked him to cook me up the speciality. Well them eat was cooked and seasoned to perfection and topped with onions and I just wanted more and more with each bite . I found as I go into these places a conversation withtheowners always makes the food taste better as they make sure it's cooked to perfection, with love in what they do Enjoy I did

Had heard that this was a "awesome little shack" for "the best Chinese food in Miami." from a friend. I know they do deliver, but I decided to stop in to check out their little spot and peruse the menu on the way home. It really is about the same size as the Farm Store it's next to, and is clearly just a to-go spot as there is no real seating or dine in options. Was surprised that the prices seemed a bit higher than I'd expect for Chinese lunch, my total came to about $20 just on a large wonton soup and beef fried rice. They prepared the meal pretty quickly and gave me a bag to go. My initial disdain at the cost diminished when I saw the size of the portions. We literally had enough food for two people and some rice leftover for another meal. The soup was piping hot and the wonton dumplings themselves were very good. Although the rice itself wasn't bad, I've definitely had better and found it to be a bit dry and bland. I would say that it was decent and not the best Chinese I've had in Miami, but to be honest, I didn't order a main entree so maybe those are much better. Not my favorite place, but I'll definitely give it another try and probably just have them deliver next time.

By far the best Chinese in Miami! Being from Vancouver aka the Chinese Food Capital of North America, I have very high standards for my Chinese food! It is even more difficult finding a restaurant that has a decent selection of vegetarian dishes. Not only is Confucio Express authentic, it's delicious, delivery is reasonably fast, and the portions are HUGE! We usually order 3-4 dishes and always have enough leftovers for at least two or three lunches for two people! My favorite is the crispy vegetable chow mein. The sweet and sour eggplant is also delicious! My boyfriend always opts for the orange chicken combo with chicken fried rice instead of the special fried rice, as he doesn't eat pork. They always send along a huge container of plain white rice, no need to order it! The website is super convenient - you can order everything with just a few clicks! I love this option because your order is far less likely to get messed up ordering online versus calling it in. Delivery is fairly quick (usually around 45 minutes). I'd like to note that if you are used to the "Americanized" Chinese food you find in most restaurants, this isn't your place. Sure, the menu is fairly westernized, but it's not your run-of-the-mill PF Chang's or anything. I have many Chinese friends whose parents cook traditional Chinese meals and this is the closest I've found to authentic in Miami! All in all - eat here! Order take out! I love this place - totally addicted!

Everything was coated in the same sauce. Couldn't tell which entree was the chicken or beef because it was covered in this sweet disgusting sauce. General tso's and Szechuan should not taste like sweet and sour. Bland fried rice. The only good part of the meal was the crab Rangoon. Oh well. I'm getting used to disappointing Chinese in Miami anyways.

Very good cheap Chinese. Nothing too special, but does the job when you want Chinese take out. We had it delivered today and it' did not take very long. We got 1 honey garlic chicken dinner which feeds 2 people easily. Definitely recommend.

STAY AWAY! I am so fused up right now that I am writing my review in rage! This place should be closed down. I have NEVER EVER in my life experienced and have gone through what I went through today. I called at 11am to place an order since that is the time they open. I was told to call in ten more minutes bc they weren't ready yet. I said fine, I will give it ten more minutes. I called back at 11:30am (that's 30 minutes I gave them) My secretary placed my order and she spoke to some young female that she had on speaker and I could clearly hear that she was not getting it. After my secretary hung up and gave the Credit Card number I said to her that I will call bc I think the lady sounded confused. When I called the man read the order over and of course it was wrong. I re-gave him my order and asked him to repeat it. He still sounded as confused as the lady so I repeated it one more time and he read it back. 2 hours later (YES THAT IS CORRET) My order finally arrived. The driver called me telling me to come down from the building I worked in bc he couldn't find parking. I was so hungry that even though I paid $3 for delivery (not sidewalk delivery) I still was nice to go down and retrieve the food. BEHOLD I come upstairs to our office party (ALL WAITED 2 hours for the food too) and the order was wrong. I furiously called right away and was told that it will take another hour until they delivered the right kind of rice and egg roll and on top of that they told me not to eat what was brought to me bc they wanted it back. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!! I waited.... another hour passed and they told me that they were on their way and the guy tells me that my vegetable fried rice and springroll are on the way. I paused took a deep breath and told him that is what I initally received and that I ordered and Oriental fried rice and egg roll. He then said " Oh yeahh right, it will be there then in 25 minutes" It is 3:30pm I just finished receiving the right order. Once again I was called by the driver and asked to come down. I refused since I paid for delivery...He was rude, told me he would leave it with securit at the front desk. When I called the restaurant guy again he told me what he wanted me to do? When the delivery man came up he asked me back for the wrong order, which I did give back to him, but not before squirting mustard sauce all over it and making sure he saw that. He asked why I was doing that and I told him that I did not want anyone else getting this. I have never in my life been treated so rude. I will never ever order from here again and I will make sure that this whole building know what happened and I hope YOU reading this doesn't go there. I REFUSE TO EVEN EAT WHAT THEY JUST BROUGHT DOWN!!! I don't know if you spit on my food or not and trust me... I will NOT take that chance with this establishment and the people that service it.

The first time I tried this place the dish I had was really bland -I forgot which one it was. The fried rice that came with it was pretty good but not worth the price for a take out. On my second try I wanted to have dinner there. I asked for the strongest flavored dish and I was recommended General Tso Chicken - which I've had eaten in many other restaurants before. The woman behind the counter refused to serve me a cup of water and I had to buy a bottle, now with taxes I was out over $16. When I tasted the chicken I had to go back inside and ask if I hadn't been given a honey chicken by mistake and the woman thought that was a compliment. It wasn't. The sauce tasted like packaged Chinese syrup mixed with a little Soy sauce. I don't need high fructose syrup, I just ate the fried rice and threw the chicken in the garbage. Honestly Chef Tian is only a mediocre take-out but their dishes taste better -ok, other than the fried rice - the portions are larger and they charge a lot less for it. Then again Tian has to satisfy a hard to please Coral Gables clientele while Confucio Express seems to cater to a young downtown crowd. Edit Today I'm counting 13 one or two star and 9 three stars reviews to date. This works out to 22% rated it terrible, 15% average and 63% rated it great or excellent. Different Yelper standards or uneven restaurant performance?

Everyone needs a couple of solid, trusted neighborhood joints, dry cleaners, pizza, a watering hole, and of course Chinese food. I scoured Yelp looking for a good delivery option and came across the reviews for Confucio Express. Given that the bulk mentioned quick delivery, decent to above average food, and good customer service I was sold. I went on their website and scanned the menu but opted for phoning it in. True to reviews the person taking my call was polite and efficient. My food arrived a little earlier than expected and best of all the food was on point with huge portions and a hearty taste. The fried rice on it's own could be a meal for two. The honey garlic chicken wasn't the best I've had but it fit the bill. The fried shrimp appetizer reminded me of a po' boy. Since I was so impressed, I tried them again a week later. They're on a winning streak in my book.

Worst delivery ever!!! They forgot my soda and took over 30 minutes to bring it. After 5 phone calls. The fried noodles were stale, although the girl assured me she took them fresh out the bag today. So now I know they don't make their own fried noodles, which are easy enough to make. The fried noodles that came with the lettuce wraps were not only extremely stale, they were super greasy. I just threw them away. I never had a problem before, as I have ordered in the past, but this was bad. Then top it off, the driver who came to bring the soda was a weirdo!! He was trying to stare in my house, and it took him a while to pull out.

First review, so go easy on me... I was too tired to make dinner tonight, so I thought I would order some delivery. Naturally, I turned to Yelp to assist in my decision making. After narrowing it down to Pieducks and Confucio Express, I went with my gut (and love of Chinese food) and decided to give Confucio a try. I agree with many of Yelpers, it is very difficult to find good Chinese food in Miami, unless you are willing to spend a miniature fortune. I miss the comfort of the "cheap, dirty Chinese food" that I used to get from the local spots back home. While Confucio-Express is a little bit more expensive than you're the places back home, it is Miami, and you the extra expense is definitely worth the quantity and quality of the food. I phoned in my order and the guy on the other line a) spoke English and b) was genuinely friendly, even interested. He asked how I had found them, and enthusiastically replied through Yelp.com ! After I placed my order, he said it would be about 45 minutes, which I was fully prepared for after reading the reviews here. To my utter surprise and joy, there was a knock at my door a mere 25-30 minutes later! I order the General Tso's (Tao on their menu?) Chicken dinner special and greedily ripped open the platter. The egg roll was above average, not mind-blowing but definitely tasty. The sweet sauce that came with it was a great counter to the savory roll. Even after reading the reviews, I was stunned at the amount of food that came in the platter. I opened the lid to find a massive amount of fried rice and a hearty helping of heavily sauced chicken. The fried rice was both tasty and not too greasy, and was jam-packed with meat. I have never ordered from a Chinese restaurant and the fried rice that accompanies the main course has chicken, pork, and shrimp. What a deal! I couldn't even finish half of the rice so I have some yummy lunch to look forward to tomorrow. The chicken was masterfully cooked, and drowned in sauce. I love sauce, so this is a definite plus for me, but those who prefer just a light amount of sauce may want to make a note when ordering. Again, the amount of chicken was far too much for one sitting, so I will be enjoying a delicious meal tomorrow at work. The only aspect of the meal that didn't floor me was the spice level. Next time I will definitely ask for spicier. But for those who enjoy just a mild kick, the General Tso's chicken as-is is a great choice. In summation, this is definitely one of the best affordable Chinese places I have been to in Miami. If you have a little more money to spend, you could splurge and go to Hakkasan, but for a delicious, inexpensive Chinese meal, this is a great place. Hope you like the review!

Confucio Express = Epic Chinese delivery. The kind of place I always mistakenly over-order from because the portions are huge. When calling in for delivery, don't have expectations of eating out of those cute little take-out boxes on your couch with a set of chopsticks. Confucio presents their food in a TV-dinner style tray, which, let's be honest, makes things less messy. Most of what I've ordered here is very high-quality. This isn't the type of Chinese restaurant your mom has always lovingly referred to as "dirty" throughout your childhood, yet still orders from there because its convenient. You'll mostly likely enjoy whatever you get here, but pass on the Honey garlic chicken - it's a bit of a flavor fail.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
