I came unannounced, with a decently large party. We were accommodated quickly. The service was friendly, enthusiastic, and very helpful. The food was great. I'll definitely return when I'm in the area.

Look No Further for the best Italian Restaurant in town! I have nothing but good to say about this place! I spent 2 hours reviewing tons of places in town & narrowed it down to this place & another 1. Went by the other place first but it looked like a dive so I came here instead. Walked through the door & the atmosphere & ambiance is very pleasing and the prices on the menu are exceptionally fair. The service was fine and the food was scrumptious! As an Italian who grew up on true ethnic food, I have nothing but positive to say about this meal, this place & the delicious food, service, atmosphere & prices! After a tasty meal, try their cannoli or one of their other scrumptious deserts! You will be pleased with your experience!

Great food, good prices, casual atmosphere. Only complaint wish they'd bring out the garlic knots sooner and the service is slow especially considering it being small & not crowded. Still I'm a regular. Great Italian cooking.

Born/raised in NY &110% italian coming to Florida & finding good Italian/pizza was intimidating. I hit gold! My first night as a Floridian I had dinner here & wow just like moms homemade Italian cooking. A few nights later I ordered pizza regular pie & a white pie, I felt like I never left NY! tonight I ordered a Sicilian pie & it knocked my socks off! Also had the la piazza bread everytime I was here, this signature appetizer is amazing! I def will be making la piazza my home away from home!

Giving only one star because of owner!! Went there on 8/28/2015 at 5 pm We had calamari very good!! Caprese salad very good!! But when I overheard other table talking about Barry sanders being the best nfl running back in history and me being from Chicago I said oh no what about Walter Payton or gale Sayers the guy at other table went nuts!! Owner came over and threatened to throw us all out really only one other table in your place on a Friday night, how's that going for you, how you doin!!! Can't wait to see your restaurant a dollar store in a few months, owner was a disrespectful d@@k!!! Honestly I don't care how good food is if owner or management like this screw it I'll go to Olive Garden !!! At least if I complain I Won't get threatened cops and spit in my food, again to the owner I hope your location makes an awesome dollar store!!! Can't wait!!!

Wonderful food. My group shared lasagna, fettucine alfredo, veal, both pasta & eggplant soups, a canoli and a chocolate bomb dessert. Everything was wonderful. The lasagna had a multiplicity of spices and flavors that elevated it above any other lasagna that I've ever had. I had half of it cold for breakfast and it tasted just as good as it had the day before. My husband said the canoli was the best he'd had outside of New York. I really enjoyed the pasta soup; the eggplant soup was made well, but not to my taste. The garlic knots were soft and drenched in butter & oil. They looked as if they were about to be photographed for a food magazine. There was a small section near the cash register where there were tomatoes, pasta, NY cookies, and various other imported items available. Ladies restroom was clean & well-stocked; single stall. Decor is 'vaguely ethnic restaurant'. Maroon red & gold toned walls, innocuous flooring, both booths & free standing tables. The only difference I can recommend is that real fabric napkins, or at least better quality paper napkins, would be appreciated. When eating food this messy, the 'diner cheap' napkins do nothing more than provide a false sense of security. Thanks to the Yelpers who recommended this place. I'd never heard of it and only visited it based on your experiences. Size: 30-50 people indoors; two outside cafe tables. Available for private parties on Sunday afternoons; otherwise, open at 4PM Sunday.

Went here on a date and enjoyed every minute. Stephano was an amazing server, he made us laugh and helped us choose some delicious dishes. I had the eggplant rollitilo (sp?) which was incredible. Fried eggplant with ricotta cheese in the middle, served with ziti pasta... so good. (And tons of leftovers.) My dinner partner had a slice of pizza. The first reviewer talked about the pizza tasting strange; I noticed that it tasted different. But I think the taste difference had to do with the dough being fresh. Everything tasted like it was made fresh, and not previously frozen or prepared in advance. The pizza was perfectly cooked: crispy on the bottom, a small layer of soft dough, and flavorful toppings. The restaurant is small, and really cozy. I'll be back.

This is easily one of the best pizza places in the area. What an impressive pizza! We got the margarita pizza and everyone at the table was gushing about it. The service was top notch and I went back a few days later for a calzone to go and had a total taste-gasm! The owner/ cook used to work for Old School Pizza near the university, but left and took his recipe with him. Glad he is on his own, since he obviously knows how to create a great customer experience.

Fabulous! Garlic knots were the best I've ever had! Portion sizes were huge and food was great. We got: mozzarella sticks, salad, pasta fagioli, chicken parm, and eggplant rollatini. The eggplant rollatini was the best I've ever had. Restaurant was clean and service was good. We didn't have to wait long for anything and never had to ask for silverware, refills, etc. We will definitely be going back - our new favorite Italian restaurant!

There was something very strange about the taste of this pizza, and something even stranger about the delivery man who wouldn't say a word to me. He just knocked and grunted. An underwhelming experience.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
