Best pizza in brevard!!! I'm from northeastern PA, Italian, and spent plenty of time in NYC. It's the closest to a "slice in the city" than any other place in this area. Good stuff!

I placed an order the eggplant parmesan dinner for delivery through the online app, and it was quick and easy. I included a special request to forfeit the pasta and bread, and to substitute with veggies if that option was available. Within two minutes, I received a phone call from a friendly and very accommodating young lady to discuss which vegetables I would like and how I would like them prepared. I never would have expected that. When the meal arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the portion, including the salad that came with it. The price was very reasonable, and the food was so delicious, I continued to eat even after I was full.

What a hidden treasure. This is some amazing pizza. We had 5 people and we shared a Chicken Roll, a Chick Parm sub, a Philly Cheesteak a Meatball Parm Sub and a salad. EVERYTHING was fresh. Perfect cheese, nice sauce, good meat but the crust and the bread was INCREDIBLE. Thanks again YELP for helping the weary traveller enjoy another great meal!

I have been living in this area (Palm Shores) for 6 years and in that time Genna's pizza has been the best pizza I could possibly find. When we have people over and we order from there guests always ask where we ordered from. It's the perfect balance of grease and ingredients, the dough is perfectly baked and rarely ever tough. If a mistake is made (which is not often) we aren't afraid to call and they always make it right. Delivery times are given realistically and are not late. I love their pizza and their calzones. I always recommend this place to people in the area.

I was heading back to Orlando with my girlfriend and her daughter from Pompano Beach & we were all craving some good NY style pizza. I looked on Yelp & decided to give this place a try & we were absolutely NOT disappointed. We decided on a lg 18" extra cheese pizza and an order of garlic knots. I was excited to see that the small dining area was almost full as it was 1PM on a Friday afternoon so I felt that if that many people were there (even tho it's a small place) they must be doing something well. Little did I know, the garlic knots are made FRESH to order.....not pre-made & warmed upon request. We ordered the garlic knots as an appetizer and when they were brought out about 15 minutes after placing our order, we were very pleased. The basket was full of fresh, HOT, crusty garlic knots with a perfect amount of cheese, herbs, & extra virgin olive oil and served with a side of red sauce. The knots had a nice crunchy crust and were perfectly cooked with a pillowy soft, yeasty interior. As for the pizza....it was very good. The cheese and sauce were good and the pizza didn't have a massive wasteland of crust on the end and a bite of the crust confirmed to me that this place takes pride in making quality, fresh pizzas. During our visit, one of the waitresses said the owner imports the water to make his dough which I thought was a little excessive but it also shows he takes pride in what he does. As we were just about finished and very full, the waitress came over and said the owner likes to experiment with different things and dropped off three freshly made macaroons. We LOVED them and I am not a big fan of coconut at all. On our way out, I met the owner (I forgot his name...sorry) and I learned that he bought the place from the previous owner and he has been struggling to overcome the poor perception that people had about this place before he took over. I figured the very least I could do is let other people in the Melbourne area know and all the people visiting or traveling through the area what a gem this place is. This little place deserves to be on Diner, Drive Ins, and Dives! To me, it was THAT good!

I'm a bit of a pizza nut and hard to please, but Genna is great. Best pizza in Brevard imo. The fresh homemade bread for sandwiches and garlic bread is great. If you stop in for lunch, one slice will do it. They are HUGE. Not too greasy. Great sauce & crust. Great texture and overall taste. My only complaint would be that they run out of their homemade bread quite often and substitute with bread from the grocery store. It's a huge disappointment when this happens. I feel like they should warn you when you make your order. Online ordering is very detailed and easy to use. New owner is very nice and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. There is sometimes a long wait, but he is quick to hand out a free slice or drink while you wait. Great place.

Let's start by saying I'm a New Yorker! the food at this place absolutely sucks. not even close to what you get in New York. bland, flavorless sauce. spongy dough! I can't ever remember cornmeal crust on a New York pie. Do yourself a favor, skip this place go to Bizarros

This is an update to the one-star review I wrote in 2012. I tried this place nearly two years ago when I first moved to Melbourne. To say that I was unimpressed would be an understatement. At the urging of a friend if mine, I tried Genna again in 2014. I learned that it had been purchased by a new owner, a real New Yorker, who had a true passion for making great food. This passion shows through now in Genna's pizza. What was once underwhelming is now overwhelming with great flavor. This has become my favorite pizza place in Brevard. The product is better than Bizarro (long hailed as the best in town) and the service is definitely better than Bizarro (lucky for Bizarro, their product is good. There service leaves a lot to be desired!) In summary, I love this place now.

If you've been here before, when the other owner ran this place, you should come back. I reluctantly did and was pleasantly suprised. The new owner is a very friendly guy. They have specials daily. I picked-up two pizzas to go and they were very good. Not the best pizza I ever had, but very good. It was cheaper than Dominos too. So, don't let the previous owner influence you, give this place another try and decide for yourself. I think you'll be pleased. I was.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
