Great food, good wine, and good atmosphere. Authentic Italian food...more for the less picky eater but even the picky ones can find something.

Had a wonderful and authentic Italian Meal here with my wife. Fabulous menu, made it tough to select what we wanted. Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. Amazing Panna Cotta!

This is one of my favorites. The wine selection is fabulous, the food is outstanding. But the service is really what makes you come back for more. We love it.

Had no idea Bacco Wine Cafe existed. No out-of-towners here. All locals. That's a good sign! Excellent variety of wines IF you want Italian wine. One thing they could consider is more California wine choices. My wife had the chicken Marsala and I had a special, the veal shank. Both were great. We were a group of ten. Proprietor opened half hour early for us. So kind of him! The food, the wine, the atmosphere, the proprietor were all excellent. I would go back and recommend it highly.

Wow, I must say, we were pleasantly surprised! After the aggravation of trying to get a reservation for a night/time that worked for us, we realized it was worth the wait!! It's a very small, unpretentious restaurant - maybe 8-10 4-top tables. The decor is nice, intimate, and you don't necessarily feel like you're in a strip mall. The entire staff was very friendly and provided excellent service! The food was AMAZING! So much better then we had expected! I had the duck special, in a red wine sauce. My duck was cooked perfectly (medium rare, as I requested), was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sauce was simply delicious! The side of vegetables was a great surprise - a great variety (carrots, green beans, onions, mushrooms, and potatoes) and all FRESH and well-prepared; none of the frozen, watery crap too many restaurants serve. My husband had the spaghetti with tomatoes, bacon, and onions. The pasta tasted fresh and the sauce was a very flavorful smokey bacon. The house salad was delicious- fresh and tasty. Portion sizes were perfect, just enough with no leftovers. Overall, our expectations were pleasantly exceeded and we plan to return. I only knocked off 1 star because we felt the menu was a little limited and I'd like to see the duck on the permanent menu.

I have been going to this Italian restaurant for years. It's so good and much better than those "Italian" restaurants like Olive Garden and Carrabbas.

We purchased a groupon for our first experience here-- we were overwhelmed at how incredible the food is!!! We will be back and I cannot wait!! Worth every penny even without a groupon!!

This restaurant is fantastic, the quality of the ingredients is superb. And the service is equally as good. This is by far the finest Italian restaurant I have been to not only in Brevard but also in the Orlando area. Great atmosphere and clean as an operating room. Will be back many times to come. And- this quality and friendliness was on a busy New Years Eve!!

I have been to Bacco several times and it is always, always excellent. I have been with a party of six and seven and also just as a couple on a romantic date. I had the absolute best steak of my life there. It is so refreshing to find amazing italian food in Florida after living in the northeast for many years. The atmosphere is cozy while still retaining a very tidy feel.

Tried this place years ago and had a great meal so we decided to try it again. The menu had changed and so had the food. There were four of us and we all tried different things. Nobody was impressed with the menu or the food. They have one beer and some wine options. No veal or chicken. If you want pasta maybe it's what you are looking for. It's very small and service was not great either. Won't go back and we are locals. There are many good Italian restaurants in the area that put this place to shame. Very disappointed.

Good food but not enough of it. Limited menu but you should be able to find something you will enjoy. While paying the tab they put a computer screen in front of you. You can choose different percentages for the tip, I chose 20% which is calculated for you. After leaving I decided to check to see if it was correct. It was, but it was based on the total bill including the tax. I thought it rather cute that they include 20% of the tax and add it to the tip. What's the old saying about fool me once??? I tend to stay away from scams! Nice of the owner to respond. But there was no option to not tip on the tax when choosing the 20% option.

There's no place like this in Brevard. Fine Italian food prepared right.

We go there once in a while but the food is awesome. The owners are real Italians who moved to Melbourne 10 years ago. They are very nice.

Small little Italian gem, with more of an emphasis on Northern Italy cuisine. This is not the place to go when you're in the mood for Chicken Parm (it's not on the menu.) It is the place to go when you're looking for Bolognese or veal marsala.

Nice little cafe. We go there before shows at the King Center across the street. The menu is classic Italian with three course meals (you can opt out of the three as desired). The spaghetti bolognese is good, and I enjoyed the Pork medalions. My wife's "fish special" was nicely prepared.

We haven't been here in quite a while. The menu has changed a bit to be primarily Italian. I had the roast beef with summer vegetables. It was average. Also the pork tenderloin was average. Not the most impressive meal but not bad. Overall average rating.

This is a small, unpretentious Italian restaurant, but the quality of the food could compete with the best Italian restaurants in NY. Our party of six on a Saturday night had personal attention from the chef/proprietor, and we were all delighted with our meals and wine.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
