Really good food, always hot and made fresh, our order is always correct in the bag, I no longer even check before leaving. They are always happy to make items to order for my picky eaters at home. Call ahead and you won't have a wait. We've tried three fast food Chinese places in the surrounding area and not only is this one closest, it's the best

The only Chinese food place in the area, which is disappointing since they screw up orders so frequently. I always say the name of the item and the item number, and it's wrong about half the time. Check your food before you leave. Ordering extra spicy is a wasted effort. They're pretty quick, and what they sell is what you're expecting, but it would be nice if I didn't have my order screwed up frequently.

I love this restaurant! Any time I'm looking for something quick to pick up after a long day at work China Star always hits the spot. I usually go with the lo mein and occasionally I'll get some dumpling to share. The staff is always very friendly and they always prepare everything perfectly. Plus, it's always ready in 10 minutes!

Good Chinese for the price. We haven't had to wait longer than about five minutes but we always call in our order. Usually a line of people waiting for their order when we get there so it must be good food! You may have to speak slow and use the menu item numbers to make your order over the phone but it is worth it.

Good New York style Chinese just like the menu says. Always hot and fresh and at 5.35 for a lunch order in less than 10 min. What else could you ask for?

Decent Chinese food at a good price.

Good Chinese food at a very reasonable price. Not the best Chinese in town but worth while for take out on a weekday night

I don't know why anyone would complain about a wait, I get my order in right away every time I come in. The food is great here, good sized portions, wide selection, fairly priced, and courteous staff. Definitely recommend.

I faltered between 2 and 3 stars on this place because as far as customer service they were nice, the food was hot and ready and the prices were ok. My husband liked it, but I have had better tasting Chinese before. I mean, for the area we do not have many choices so it is fine, but just know that the food is only so-so.

Had take out. The lady behind the counter was not too polite and the wait just for soup was a little longer than expected.

Good food at a good price. Even though they didn't offer what I wanted in a combination platter, they went ahead and made it for me. Good costumer service

Fast and easy, cheap and tasty take out. I got the kung-pao chicken lunch special, for 5 bucks, on a Saturday! They automatically give you pork fried rice on the side with the specials, that wasn't so great for me. The wonton soup that came with was just ok. Not bad though. The serving was pretty big for a lunch special, and the food stayed molten lava hot all the way home. Good stuff!

Expected more as we've eaten A LOT of Chinese in the past. Passable for Lithia. Will say that the food is served hot and fast, but don't expect better than average.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
