Shula Burger Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I was in the Disney area and had some time to burn so decided to yelp some restaurants and am so glad I found this one! Shula's is an American burger joint that does their own twist on things. I got the French onion burger which consisted of caramelized onions, garlic mayo, garlic croutons, and a medium patty with sea salt fries. The whole thing was delicious!! I was especially impressed with the fries that were seasoned perfectly. The service was great, very attentive and polite. The restaurant itself is super clean. If it was closer to where I lived, I would come all the time! Definitely try it if you're in the area!

It really wasn't bad....it just wasn't that great. I did a fix your own burger with fries. Those two things totaled $11.11. Which anymore is not a huge amount for lunch, but it is a bit on the high end. So, I thought it would be knock my socks off good...it wasn't. The burger itself was tasty, but really there was mostly bun there and the amount of meat was probably 66% of what I think the price commanded. The garlic spread was good on the burger, but a little too pasty for my tasty. The fries were very good. I enjoyed those. So, overall, not bad, but not sure it was $11.11 worth of burger bliss.

Menacing clouds began to filter inland as spring began its advance toward the continental expanse. Lombardi, Landry, Noll and Shula; the four horseman of the NFL. Lombardi forever emblazoned on the trophy. Landry with roads and rings and Noll's steel curtain. Not to be outdone, Shula's legend lives on, his name branded on innumerable buns and ingested by visitors from across the globe. The burgers, in a variety that's sure to please even the most eccentric burgerphile, are charbroiled and make you think they were cooked by your neighbor Stan at an autumn tailgate party over his battle- worn Charbroil propane grill. You won't find a cleaner place to eat, if that sort of thing is important to you. They bring the food right to your table but don't think you can just sit there. The ketchup and mustard are over by the drinks. Sweet potato tots? Yes and sweet they are Fried pickles? You bet. With special sauce too. Big ole cookies? Yes also but they are an investment grade cookie Best burger ever? Not even. But for Don's sake go ahead.

The interior of the restaurant is decorated with some football memorabilia. Plenty of food options, no melas. Everything is separate, like they don't have a burger, fries and drink option. For myself and my father to eat here it was $30. The food is cooked fresh and brought to your table when ready. The burger was good, thin patty however. The fries are very good, salted perfectly. Overall, the restaurant is very spacious and clean. A little on the pricey side for a burger joint.

We had a great experience here with a fairly large group of 30 plus. Several families, all with separate checks. I called ahead and they were able to set up an area on the patio. It was perfect. The service was excellent and food was very good. The shakes were made with Hagen Daz and available in small kids sizes. A little pricey as you pay for each thing. Ex, the burger does not cond with fries or tots, you pay extra for them. The set up is you order inside, get your drinks and they bring the food to your table. You get your ketchup, mayo, mustard, etc at a self service pump station by the drinks. The burgers were very good, but could have been a little thicker. The roll is a brioche and if high quality. Sides are few in options, but worth the extra money and calories. Sweet potato tots were good. Sea salt fries crunchy and fresh. The onion rings, fried pickles and salads looked solid although I did not try them Overall, an excellent choice to satisfy most tastes, casual yet a notch above the usual chains. I would not hesitate to go back. The only reason for the 4 stars is the burger was a little thin and the prices a little high. It cost $66 and I gave $14 tip, so $80 bucks God family of 4. I think that it a little pricey for a somewhat self serve/ partial service place.

My friends were super excited about this place and were extremely eager to go! Their excitement made me think this place was going to be out of this world. Then I got the food and was less than impressed. The burger is good, but overpriced. the fries were not good. Although, I did enjoy the sweet potato tater tots! Those were easily the best things I had while I was there. Overall, if I had to go get a burger again, I would rather go some place closer. I wouldn't say it's terrible, but it's not my first choice when it comes to burger establishments.

Build your own burger was awesome! Brioche buns are a great addition for a burger. Fries were great. Clean place, decent prices (for Kissimmee touristy area). I would definitely go again.

  • Lisa P.

Burgers are decent. Hot dog was nasty-don't do it! Comes covered in oily onions and way to much mustard on a oversized hard bland pretzel roll. Was gross.

  • Kristen M.

Tasty burger, although messy. A little pricy for self ordering type of restaurant. However, quality was pretty good. I would go back. But nothing to write home about..

I do Love the wine country burger here. The interesting flavor that I had never experienced before on a burger between the creaminess of the goat cheese and the sweet acidity of the vegetables on the burger the flavors that are combines together are completely superb. The sweet potato tots lacked salt and could have been a little crunchier on the outside to give it that extra pop. I have to say, I love going here the burgers are fresh and delectable! The only downside here is that it is a bit overpriced.

In town for vacation and decided to check this place out. Hubby had the French Onion burger and I had the Shula BBQ burger with a side order of onion rings. My husband was not very pleased with his burger and felt it was greasy and nothing out of this world. I on the other hand enjoyed my burger but not enough to warrant returning and wanting to order another burger (Shula BBQ or otherwise). The onion rings tasted like they were frozen and maybe flash fried or heated. It reminded me of both real onion (inside the overbearing breaking) and artificial onion (maybe onion powder seasoning?). I definitely would NOT order those again. If your looking for a decent burger check these guys out. If your looking for an out of this world experience, come to Baltimore,MD and visit Burger Bros in Towson. It will blow your mind!!!

Amazing burgers & fries! We've got eaten here so much & my hubby has tried many more menu items than me, I'm a simple girl & a habitual eater.

I ate here for the first time several months ago and I was very impressed with the burgers. My burger was huge and it was so good, I couldn't finish the whole thing. My only complaint is they are a little pricey but it is worth it. I would definitely eat here again.

We won't be going back. The burgers were just ok, nothing to write home about. They were rather small actually, but still cost right around $8 each. That is JUST for the burger, no fries, no drink. Fries are an additional $3 and were again, just ok, nothing special. The onion rings were good, but $5 for a small bowl. Shakes were $5 for a 16 ounce cup of shake that is not filled. They put on enough whipped cream to make it look full, but it isn't full. We got 2 shakes, 3 burgers, a salad, one order of french fries, one order of onion rings, and the bill was $60. For that price we really should have gone down the street to a nicer sit down restaurant. The portions would have been larger and my teens wouldn't have still a bit hungry. They literally walked in the hotel room and grabbed for the snacks we had brought. I think the place was empty on a weekend night for a reason. Way overpriced for what you get.

Overpriced meal. Unlike its namesake, this burger was not a winner. The Shula Burger looked like it was made from a frozen patty. It tasted dry and lacked any seasoning whatsoever. Not impressed. Service was average.

I've been here on a few occasions with a few different friends and enjoyed it for the most part. Their attempt to stay ahead of the ball on the gourmet burger restaurant was a pretty good one. Their menu focuses a lot on flavor and creating unique sides. For instance, sweet potato tots (Which are one of the best things ever!). Coolest thing about their chain though is the unique burger they have at each location. It changes from place to place, making every place you go just a little different. Two times back, my friend bought the burger, the Big 'O'. Starts off pretty basic except the Big Onion ring in the center, sorta double the size of the burger. it was hilarious watching him eat it! LOL I would totally suggest the Wine Country or the California Burger every time!

  • Doug S.

Over priced for the tourists. Ala carte everything which means we paid almost $20 per person for average tasting food (steak sando, shake, deep fried pickles). Will not be returning. Ever. #Disappointed.

Ok so Shula Burger has everything you want in a gourmet burger place, but get ready because a huge but is coming. Let's start with the good. They have good service, we received our food in 7 minutes and the employees were very friendly. They have unique menu options with tremendous variety, so the pickiest eater will be happy here provided they like burgers and the most adventurous foodie will find something satisfying as well. The shakes are some of the best I've ever had, so please get a milkshake. BUT, they cook their burgers over an open gas flame, so they have a sort of Burger King charbroiled taste that is not my cup of tea. I couldn't get over this. The cheese and onions on my french onion burger could not disguise this flavor. So for that I knock one star off. I won't go back but I can't say it's bad, I just don't like it and that's a matter of personal taste. Their burgers taste exactly how they're intended to taste. So if you like the char taste then this place is for you. If not then opt for another burger place.

If I would have rated Shula Burger the first time I came here right after it opened, I would have given it 5 stars. But I went back the other day and would rate that experience 2 stars. I think it all comes down to who is cooking your food. The first time I came, it was with a large group from work. The burger was excellent! We all loved it! On the pricey side though since you pay only for the burger and have to order sides separately. For the price you could go to a regular sit down restaurant. This time I brought my girlfriend. I had been telling her how great the burger was. We ordered and asked for them to be cooked medium. We also ordered the blue cheese and bacon chips. The chips were really good. I'd order those again. As for the burgers, the were both charcoal! They were so over-cooked that I sent mine back. I don't know if I have ever sent anything back in a restaurant. I'm not one to complain. But the burger was inedible. My girlfriend's was just as bad, but she was afraid to send hers back after I sent mine. Once it was re cooked, it was really good. I'm not sure if I'll be back anytime soon after this last visit. I hope they take more care of cooking considering how much you pay.

I can't get enough of this place. I've experienced some of the best customer service in the food industry here. Every Saturday my office grabs a big lunch order and the burgers have been extremely consistent over the year. When I told people about Shula's they seemed a little put off by the price of a burger without sides, but that shouldn't hinder you. The burgers themselves are big enough to get you right into that perfect portion sized meal feeling. No need for sides unless you've been fasting for a week. My personal favorite burger is The Don. Nothing says 'MURICA like putting an all beef hot dog on your burger.

Is Shula burger the best burger in Orlando? No. Is it good, yes... I have been wanting to try Shula Burger since they opened a few months back, but have not had a chance to get out there until this week. A group of four of us came to dinner around 6PM. It was not very busy but picked up a bit. First off the location is a bit odd. The decor is OK, but I ti ink I was just expecting more. It is fast foodesq, with a flair of niceness. there are art deco pics of Don Shula all around. I guess I would expect more of a sports theme. We walked in and were greeted by a really nice cashier behind the register / bar. Yes, the taps are at the register. They have an LED board with the menu items, as well as paper menus you can look at to order from. The burger selection is pretty solid, but everything is ala cart. After placing your order, you get a number to put on your table and wait for your food. They do serve beer, but the choices are pretty limited. Their "craft" beer was fat tire. The wait was about 15 minutes, not to bad I guess. The condiment bar only has ketchup, mayo and mustard. The burgers were cooked very well, and definitely tasty. We ordered a side of onion rings and sweet potato tots. The rings were good, but the tots were kind of dense. All in all, this is a good place for a burger if you are in the area. I will certainly not drive out of my way to come here. If you want something a bit cheaper, I recommend Five guys.

This is my favorite go to place for burgers They're made fresh and are absolutely delicious. You can build your own or order from the gourmet ones. Everything I've had is tastey, but my favorite is the wine country burger with goat cheese, balsamic greens, and peppers. The flavors are AMAZING! The side orders are a la carte, but they have a lot to choose from. The sweet potato tots are my favorite, but they also have sea salt fries, fried pickles, and onion rings to name a few. They are a bit pricey but I feel it's worth it for the quality of food you get! Also, the service is excellent! The staff knowledgeable, and willing to recommend favorites to first timers. Definitely worth checking out!

"The Don" Review A delicious burger stamped with Shula right on the bun. Inside this perfectly blended burger, a patty and a hotdog sliced in half laying on this awesome meat. Onions, cheese, mustard, and ketchup mixed in with a side of fries. I bit into this bohemith of a burger ranking it into one of my favorites. As cheesy as it may sound; "Touchdown Mr Shula."

Nothing is more insulting when a place claims to be vegetarian friendly then offers a mass-produced brand of a veggie burger. The same burger I can buy in a 12-pack at the Publix across the street. Only the restaurant offers to dress it for me and then proceed to charge me $9. How kind of them. That's what they do at the new Shula Burger in Kissimmee. However, Shula does do a very good job at disguising the grocery store burger with a wide variety of toppings. Plus, there are a few sides on the menu if a frozen veggie patty isn't your thing. Shula Burger is part of Don Shula's family of restaurants that include Shula's Steak House, Shula's 347 Grill, Shula's 2 Steak and Sports and Shula's Bar and Grill. The only brand I have been to is the uber fancy Shula's Steak House, where you are seated with a football menu, served steak tartare and molten chocolate lava cake. That was back in my steak-eating days. Nowadays, I search for places with veggie burgers. Lucky for me, this much hyped about franchise does indeed serve a specialty veggie burger. However....... When we first arrived at the counter we inquired about the veggie burger. Was it made by Morningstar? Was it frozen? We were told with confidence that the veggie burger was made by the Shula company and shipped to the stores fresh, never frozen. Uh..well..we later learned from the manager that the veggie patty is the Malibu Vegan patty made by the Gardenburger brand, which is, indeed, frozen. Last I checked Gardenburger is not owned, manufactured or distributed in any manner by the Shula company. Sounds like maybe the staff should be educated a little better. Anyway, the veggie patty itself is made with corn, carrots, barley and brown rice. Though it is listed on the menu as being served with baby greens, tomato, red onion and a herb mayo, there were too many other amazing options with the beef burgers that we wanted to try. We were able to substitute the veggie patty onto any of the other burgers with no problem. I ordered the French Onion Burger (with the veggie patty, of course.) Caramelized onion, gruyere cheese, garlic mayo and crushed garlic croutons. Tasted like French Onion Soup on a bun. Very tasty. Even with the veggie patty. Chad ordered The House of Blue which was a burger (in our case, again, the veggie patty) topped with blue cheese, red onion jam and balsamic greens. It was very tasty though it could have used just a little more red onion jam. We couldn't get a taste of it at all. We both definitely preferred the French Onion over the House of Blue. On the sides menu we spotted fried pickles and fried banana peppers. Anyone who regularly reads The Hungry Sprout knows that I go weak at the knees for a tasty fried pickle. But fried banana peppers? Never even thought about frying these up. Lucky for us, Shula Burger offers a 50/50 side with 1/2 pickles and 1/2 banana peppers. The fried pickles were pretty good. Thinly sliced and lightly battered, the pickles were sour, juicy and crispy. Yum. But greasy. The fried banana peppers, though a little more heavy on the battered side, were also quite good. Sweet, spicy and crunchy, they are sure to be a big crowd pleaser for Shula Burger. Just be aware they are also a little greasy. We also sprung for the blue cheese and bacon chips, minus the bacon for us of course. Crispy thick chips piled high on a platter topped with blue cheese crumbles, blue cheese dressing and green onions. Large enough to be a meal in itself or shared. Don't be fooled into having everyone order their own side of this. That will be a lot of chips. Overall, Shula Burger was an interesting experience. Would we go out of our way to visit? No. Disappointing. The lady behind the counter tried to convince us that we were getting a Shula exclusive veggie patty, when indeed, anyone can get them at the grocery store. Nothing worse than being lied to when I am asking a question about your product. The other option for a veggie head here is one of their three salad options. Well, contrary to popular belief, vegetarians do not live on salad alone, not even most of the time. I can make a decent salad at home, thank you. We paid $28 for two burgers and two sides. We had only water to drink. That was a very expensive frozen meal. The sides were decent though but this is not a place for someone trying to eat healthy. This is definitely not a place for a veggie burger. With all the new burger joints popping up all over Central Florida, Shula doesn't even come close to topping our list. There are plenty of other burger joints who make their own fresh veggie burgers to please the large (and growing) number of vegetarians in the Orlando area.

On our way back from Panama in March we ran through the Shula bar and grill. Earlier we had been to.Shula's out at Disney. Our expectations for quality had been established on these two visits. This experience was a bit of a let down. we were expecting more of a "luxe" burger place. Instead of Shula's taking the burger joint and dressing it up.. .they dressed down to it. Mind you the food is good; the French onion burger is awesome and so.are the sweet potato tots I however don't want to pay these prices to drink from a paper cup

I had been wanting to try this new burger joint. I had the House of Blue which had blue cheese, red onion jam, and balsamic greens. It was pretty good. I would have liked a little less red onion jam and more blue cheese but it was still good. I'd get it again. I also ordered the Blue Cheese Chips which I thought was a side but came out as a larger appetizer. Since hubby doesn't like blue cheese, this was too much for one girl! I'd definitely like to go back to try some of the other burgers.

Oh my ! What a disaster. First visit since last year - what a difference. Will never go back. Our two milkshakes never arrived, our medium and medium rare burgers got reversed. We explained to the staff that our shakes were never delivered and asked for a refund. Poor customer service and the burgers are tasteless.

We were staying at a resort nearby and grabbed burgers. My hubby got me a California something or other. It had slices of cucumber on it, tomato, lettuce and some type of sauce that might have been balsamic. My burger was burn black on the edges, which didn't taste so great, and I'm not a fan of cucumbers on a burger. (Blame the Hub for that one.). There wasn't anything impressive and the fries HAVE to be frozen ones. We're used to Burger Fi, so maybe we are just spoiled by hand cut fries and heir burgers. It was nothing special.

My very first time in Shula Burger and I will not come back... The burger was over cooked and for the price it should have been cooked better... the cook had major attitude. Yup not my choice ever again... The fries were good but burger sucked.

Had Shula BBQ. Taste was great. Although tested the sauce and bacon more than the burger meat. Onion rings are fantastic. My only problem is, I don't think it's a great value. $9 just for a burger. That's no drink or fries or nothing. If I'm paying $9 just for a burger I want/expect it to be big. Like can't eat with one hand or get my mouth around. This was about the size of a McDonald's burger. Maybe I'm just picky, but for $9, I expected more.

Sky high prices, lousy food, fast food ambiance...what's to like? Burgers were underdone. Medium was suggested, and accepted; they came out very rare. Not safe, where ground beef is concerned. Over all, the 2 varieties we ordered were both a greasy mess. One of them wasn't even warm. The Sea Salt fries (extra charge, not included) were soggy. The Sweet Potato Tots were too salty to eat. It is basically a fast food place; you order at the counter and they bring your food out to the table. It is very noisy, and it wasn't crowded at lunch at all. The beer was excellent. It was very cold, and they had a nice selection. Over all, we would never go back. Go across the street to Texas Roadhouse. You'll get more for less.

We've eaten here three times this week out of four lunches (so far). I wish we had one in WI! Food: The overall helping is generous--my husband and I split our burger and side each trip. We had the swiss mushroom twice and a plain burger with cheddar; they were all delicious and not greasy (yay!). The french fries (ate twice) were tasty. On our first trip, we tried the onion rings based on another yelp review--our opinion: they aren't worth $4, but they tasted fine. Service: Staff were friendly. Bonus: Convenient to Orange Lake Resort.

West Side Story features the Jets battling the Sharks. In Central Florida, we don't have dancing ruffians, we have the battle over Burger Joints. BurerFi's turf is located in North Orlando and Shula Burger resides over South Orlando. It's a hard decision if I were to pledge a particular "Burger-gang" because the two are fairly similar, but for the purposes of this review, I'll stick with focusing on Shula. Shula is in its infancy of operating and having been there a handful of times since, I've never had a poor experience. Shula offers a decent array of appetizers, all a la carte, ranging from small side salads, crispy onion rings, and, my favorite, the sweet tater-tots. TIP: Ask for honey mustard to go with your tots. The full menu of burgers does whip BurgerFi's butt, offering about 10 artisan burgers ranging from the healthier, (Sliced avocados, tomatoes, cucumbers, balsamic greens), to the more indulgent, (Burger, hot dog, pickle, onion sauce, American cheese, ketchup, yellow mustard on a brioche style bun). Veggie and Turkey burgers are able to be substituted. The menu extends beyond burgers with chicken sandwiches, a steak sandwich, hand-dipped milk shakes, and select libations. I got the California Burger with avocados, tomatoes, cucumbers and balsamic greens with a turkey burger. I must admit that this is one delicious burger and the combination of juicy ingredients parried well with the turkey burger. I couldn't imagine getting a regular beef patty as the extra grease associated with it would be too much. The humble, but mighty franchise (currently with 5 locations across Florida) advertises their burger patties as; "a blend of Premium Black Angus Beef, Short Rib and Brisket". The menu also reads "never frozen". I do question the vagueness of the beef and it's quality, but they volunteer more information than BurgerFi. Upon my first visit to Shula Burger, shortly after the grand opening, customer service was outstanding with; several leaders walking the floor, smiling cashier behind the counter, and other employees clearing tables, offering refills and condiments (even though there is a self-service station). I remember thinking how much effort a new restaurant puts into the operation and always felt a missed opportunity when the fresh paint, and opening night excitement wears off, but after visiting months later the same high-level customer service is still practiced. Excellent! Shula Burger is located on, what I refer to as, "Tourist Row". You may know it by the pseudonym, US-192. Finding a decent meal in the area is hard to come by. The best options are a Bahama Breeze and a Panera Bread. Now, thankfully, we can add Shula Burger to this list. Hopefully other restaurateurs will learn that quality DOES still make business and bring their menus to this part of town. Well, not ALL are welcomed here (I'm looking at your BurgerFi).

The food was ok. I came with higher expectations. I had the French onion burger, which tasted like a burger with cheese and onions on it. I didn't get the savory French onion taste from it. The onions weren't caramelized well. The caramelization process of the onions seemed rushed which made them taste burnt. Also for some reason my burger had a lot of grease dripping from it. I wouldn't recommend the onion rings. They tasted like they came from a frozen bag. The price seems high for what you get.

A great addition to this area of town, Shula Burger provides a clean, modern counter service burger joint with unique and flavorful eats. I thoroughly enjoyed my French Onion Burger - a ground beef patty topped with an herbed mayo, garlic croutons, gruyere cheese, and caramelized onions; definitely had to reach for the fork and knife on this one! My husband ordered the Don - a bun that had not only a hamburger sandwiched between, but also a hotdog, along with standard fixings. We shared a side of their fries and the sweet potato tots - which were both "okay" (We're big fans of Burger 21 and their sweet potato fries and dipping sauces - Shula Burger's did not compare!) Even though the sides were mediocre, they were really unneeded, as the burgers were filling on their own. I look forward to returning and trying some of their other unique burgers.

Whenever I ask the boyfriend to choose dinner, his default answer is "burgers," and that's how we found ourselves here. I'm not really sure if you can do a bad burger, as long as it's not the likes of Krystal or White Castle. (Ugh, barf.) So when I saw the 3 star rating, along with the Five Guys comparison, I imagined it to be average. Welp. You're all wrong! I would put Shula's one level higher than Five Guys. It's gourmet burger in a Five Guys-type service area. Our California burger + bacon was on point! Plus, I've never even seen another place with sweet potato TOTS. Pricey, perhaps, but you are paying for the taste here. I highly suggest you check it out if you're looking for a "still quick, but better than fast food" burger.

Great place! Burgers are top notch, I've tried The original Shula burger, the French onion burger, and the wine country burger. All of the burgers have been exceptional! I've also tried the fried pickles and fried banana peppers. I love the fried banana peppers they're good even just as a snack! There's great outdoor seating and live music in the evenings. Services are quick and the team overall is very friendly.

Really delicious burgers - I mean wow. I had a single with cheddar cheese and it was great. A touch undercooked for my personal liking, but I didn't even think to ask how they normally cook them, and I like mine pretty close to well done. It was juicy and the meat was excellent. I had fries which were also good. My mom had sweet potato tots, which she loved (I don't like sweet potatoes). A little on the pricey side for a quick-service but delicious!

This is a great place to get a fresh burger. I usually get The Don which is a hamburger with a beef hotdog or the regular Shula burger. My husband enjoys the burger with blue cheese. The fries and onion rings are good too. This location is clean and the staff is friendly.

Today was the grand opening of this location, so we had to try it. I got the Shula BBQ Burger and fried pickles, and they were amazing! The bacon on the burger was a nice thick cut and the meat was juicy and delicious. The fried pickles were juicy and fresh. The highlight of this location is the enthusiastic and friendly staff. They all seemed happy to be open and were checking in to make sure everything was good! I can't wait to return!

We are so happy to have found this little gem! This is what a burger place should be! We frequent the Menchie's a few doors down from this location and have wanted to stop in a few times. We got the opportunity one afternoon and we were blown away! We definitely ordered with our eyes so we got way more food than we could actually consume but hey, it is what it is. We ordered the fried pickles/banana peppers and the bleu cheese chips. Wow! Just wow! The chips are a HUGE portion for an appetizer but the bleu cheese is creamy and delicious and the chips are thick pieces of homemade goodness! You can't really go wrong with anything fried. The fried banana peppers were an interesting touch and were absolutely delicious! At this point we could have gone home satisfied, but we still had our burgers to go! I ordered the French Onion burger and my wife had the House of Bleu burger. They both had such rich ingredients and the flavors exploded with every bite! The French Onion has double gruyere cheese, which is absolutely amazing and the House of Bleu mirrors the creamy bleu cheese from the chips appetizer! The House of Bleu also has this delicious red onion jam that my wife said she'd eat off cardboard and still find delicious, so I'm guessing she liked it :) This is a counter service restaurant so you order, pay and take your number with you to a table. It's a pretty small place with both indoor and outdoor seating. The patio is covered incase of a freak Florida thunderstorm and I heard they have a live band outside on the weekends. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great experience, Shula Burger!!!

Love this place! Yes, it's a bit on the $$ side, but for the food it's worth it! I normally do a create your own burger and I've also had the grilled chicken sandwich a couple of times as well. Both are very good! Oh and the burgers have always been perfectly cooked. It's such a change to see actual chefs in the back cooking in what is considered a quick service meal. When we go we get a side to split between the two of us (normally fries, but I do enjoy their sweet potato tots as well!) The atmosphere is really nice and for being cooked to order the food comes out in a pretty decent time. The beer selection isn't bad either - frosted beer glasses! We've done to go orders as well and they are good with the phone orders. It's awesome to have your food ready when you get there! Side note: Disney cast members get a discount when they show their ID!

Stopped and tried it for the first time yesterday. Very clean and friendly staff. The food was wonderful! I had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was cooked perfectly. Very filling! I would give it 5 stars, but it was just a little bit pricy. Will definitely go about once a month.

Took the family to Shula Burger for the first time. Not really that impressed as it was really just okay. I like BurgerFi and Five Guys burgers better. The Wine Country burger was pretty good. Prices were a little higher than I expected. Disappointed that the kids menu didn't have a sweet potato tots kids portion option.

Good burger, great fries. Bobby was so friendly and all smiles, exactly what we needed after a long golf day. Price was reasonable in comparison to portions. Clean environment and clean bathrooms. Will be back when we are back in town! Thanks you guys!

2.5 stars Fellow Yelpers, We checked out Shulas for the Grand Opening! I must say from time I walked in a was disappointed, greeted at the door with a friendly welcome to Shulas Was nice, however it was followed by " where you can only order your burger Well done or medium well". I like mine medium rare so I almost decided not to stay. I did stay anyways . Food: I ordered the French onion burger. It wasn't bad. But wasn't something really amazing either. It had a weird flavor seasoning on it. I think the croutons seasoning were off a bit. The buns have a signature " Shulas " on the top of each bun which was different. Burgers come with absolutely nothing. Everything is sold separately. Which I did not like. Sides: onion rings. You get four large rings thick cut. You will need a knife. I think they were too big and un able to share Sweet potato bites were good. Soda: I like that this place uses COKE products. And self service machine was nice also. VALUE: I probably would of gave this place 1 more star is the menu was a little less expensive. After ordering a burger with onion rings a soda and a small side of sweet potato bites my bill was $17.40 That's a expensive burger!! Service: the employees were very friendly as expected from a new place opening. Even though your not waited on they do come by and check on you. Everyone was very friendly. FREE wifi. Overall: I can say I been here. Not sure if I want to go back. It would have to be a spontaneous decision. Not planned.

Easily one of the best burgers I've had. They serve the medium but my daughter had one well done and the beef blend they use (brisket and angus I think) was still very juicy.

It's a pretty simple burger spot with all the fried fare you'd expect. Nothing is so great that I have to it again. But also nothing is so terrible I feel the need to complain. I had the Don and the hot dog was the best part. The fries, fried pickles, fried banana peppers, and onion rings were all average fried food. The cookie at the end was the best part though the chocolate may have been a bit overkill and thats tough for me to say. The french onion burger was tasty. I am not sure it was all worth the prices. But the service was very good.

Great burgers, awesome fries and even better service! Been here a few times and every single time the customer service, quality of food and preparation are just right. I'd recommend this as an upscale burger specialty restaurant to all my family and friends!

Burger was ok. Overpriced and nothing special. My father-in-law had to have his burger remade three times for not getting it right. Good food, but nothing special. I would not go out of my way to go here.

Comparisons to Five Guys are likely to abound as they are similar concepts. The burgers are equally delicious. The experiences are very different. Shula's has a warmer atmosphere and a more upscale decor. You order at the counter at both places. At five guys you retrieve your own order. At Shula's your order is delivered to your table which provides an opportunity to address any issues that you may have with a server. Shula's is also a place where you might meet with friends or coworkers for a few glasses of wine. Both Five Guys and Shula's are worth a visit but the ambience at Shula's edges out the competition.

Finally a legit Burger joint in the attractions area of Orlando. Service: The service at Shula Burger is 5 star. The staff is friendly, concise, and on top of everything. I have eaten in as well as take-out and the orders were always accurate and the staff was great. The food comes out quick with minimal wait time. Burgers: The burgers here are legit! I have had the Shula Burger, The Southwest, and The Big "O" which is local to Orlando. Burgers are cooked to order and I like mine well done. They were cooked to perfection and delicious so if you like medium, rare, well, etc. just let them know. The buns are soft and the meat is perfectly seasoned and tender. The Herb Garlic mayo is a must to add to The Shula Burger and any sandwich quite frankly. You can also create your own burger and they have a nice selection of cheeses and spreads. I have also tried the Steak Sandwich and it was amazing, maybe even better than the burger. Maybe?! Soft roll, tender new york strip, melted cheese, and herb garlic mayo....MMMMMM, so good! Dipped it in some Shula Steak Sauce and a glass of Red Wine and I was in foodie heaven. Sides: Something they call a 50/50 is a must! Half Fried Banana Pepper and half Fried Pickles with a side of ranch for dipping, so awesome! Fries are Ok, SOLID onion rings, and when wanting to be healthier the side salad with house dressing was very good. Drinks: Delicious Homemade Sangria, excellent wines (same wine as the steakhouse, but cheaper), and a fair selection of beers, even some craft selections! (Fat Tire, Stella, Corona Light) Atmosphere: Very clean, good energy, nice TV's, Counter Service, condiment bar, hand washing station, and a HUGE outside patio. Price: Very comparable in price to Panera, Chipotle, etc., however the quality justifies the price. Overall this place is legit and a minimum weekly stop for me!

This place is insanely delicious. I had a make your own double Shula burger with American cheese, lettuce, chipotle spread, and pickles. This is one of the best burgers I have ever had. It was juicy and so tasty. I had the sweet potato tots on the side and they were like little explosions of sweet potato flavor. Wish I had one of these places back home. We will definitely be back

  • A Paul B.

The burgers are pretty good but the food here is so over priced that it's not worth eating here. You have to pay for each thing separately. For example if you want a burger, fries and a drink you have to pay eh 8 or 9 bucks for the burger, add a couple bucks for the fries, then add a couple bucks for the drink, oh and don't forget the tip. Be prepared to spend $15 for a $7 -$8 meal.

Among the increasing amount of semi-fast food burger joints, Shula is a lovely option. When I walked in, I caught a glimpse of the sink by the ketchup station and got my hopes up for the place (for it was a sign that they knew their burgers were messy, and a good burger is a messy burger). Well that sink did not let me down, I tried the southwest burger and the bbq bacon burger. Both were great!

Meals were fast, good was pretty damn good. 5 Guys has nothing on these people. Only complaind was the Fry's were the cheap kind you find at most places. But the buger was great, good food! Will go again soon!

Place has been open seven months. Staff on Wednesday night a little scattered but they were very polite. Food was great. Enjoyed the Shula Burger. Daughter liked the chicken tenders. You can build your own burger. Selection of wines and beer on tap was very cold and served in frosted glass. I would go back and it's a good escape from the parks.

Of course I go to the place with "burger" in the name and order a chicken sandwich! I guess I was going for the whole "healthy" thing given the excess pound gain from Thanksgiving...ugh Service was pretty fast and ordering a breeze. The staff was attentive and friendly to talk with. The sandwich itself was very satisfying and worth trying if you want a lighter fair. However, my one disappointment was the "sea salted fries." I was ready for some out of this world SHULA fries! Well, I got fries that tasted like Oreida fries. Bummer. But my friend had the sweet potato tots. I tried some and they were great! I will certainly get this the next time I go. Be sure to check this one out - good service & good food!

This was my first visit to a Shula Burger I did carry out the store was easy to find the decor was like a sports bar. The staff was friendly and the restaurant appeared clean. I had the wine country burger which was really good but at $7.99 it is on the high side for a burger. I also had the onion rings which were $4.29 there were only 4 that came with a very strange spicy strawberry marmalade. They were definitely overpriced for the portion , quality, and flavor. The burgers range from $6.99 - $13.49. App inside range from $2.99 - $5.99. For me a $13 lunch is a bit on the high side. I won't go out of my way to eat here again but if I'm in the area I might try another burger.

Looking for a place to eat on the way home from soccer game and came across Shula's I was so excited. We entered this clean place with waitstaff knowledgeable when we order. I asked for the specialty he said the burger were gourmet and recommended the "shula burger" DONE. They brought the food to our table and throughout the experience the manager walked around asking how was everything. It was bbq burger with a couple of really thick pieces bacon on top with LTO. The bun has Shula on the top bun blazed on it. The side of onion rings were huge and cooked to perfection. My daughter ordered a veggie burger with mushrooms. My sandwich was $7.99. I would have paid $10.00 for this sandwich. The floors are black and was spotless as the rest of this establishment. Serves beer and wine if you wanted to wash it down. Go to Shula's it wont disappoint.

Drove into Kissimmee after a drive in from the east coast. The eating options along and near Bronson Memorial Highway were mostly depressing. I seemed to pass every corporate concoction but nothing look appealing. It seemed like I was going to have to settle for eating at some sub-par stomach buster. Moments before that I surrendered to the "whatever is fine at this point." Shula Burger popped out amongst the what seemed like a 100 miles of t-shirt shacks and greasy buffets. I knew of Shula Steakhouse's excellent reputation so figured if the legend put his name on a burger joint, it's probably going to be at least alright. Later, I learned that their ingredients are sourced from the same place(s). Kept it simple and went with the "Shula Burger" sans bun, sweet potato tots and pickles. I recall the pickles come with peppers too. GO for that option if you are only going to have one side. They offer premium wines and draught beer too. I opted for wine. My meal was ALL good and the feeling of almost having to eat at one of those buffets melted away. Yeah, they have some screens if you want to watch the football, but if they didn't you'd probably be wondering why not? Manager came out to ask us about our meal too. Left Shula with one of their signature milkshakes - yummerz. Overall Shula is a superior burger experience.

If you're planning on eating here be forewarned it's pricey! I personally don't mind because the burgers are delicious. They have these yummy dressings. I'm a pescatarian so I always have the veggie patty and 'build your burger' it's delicious! Hubby has gone down the menu. His favorite so far ' the double southwest burger. Two burgers will be about $22. Wines are 5-9$ beer about 5-6$. Oh and the cookie milkshake is a must but also around 7-8$. This is our 3rd time visiting and since it's so close to home, probably won't be the last :)

After a short day at the Magic Kingdom, my girlfriend &I just wanted a small meal to eat before heading back to the hotel. It was my choice & my affinity to cheeseburgers lead us to this fine establishment, thanks to some guidance from Yelp. The 3-star rating lead me to lower expectations. Sheeesh! Are there some haters or what?! Totally unfair to be compared to Five Guys. Perhaps they do have the same concept. However, Shula's has far more class than Five Guys. Yes, it's quick service. Yes, it was a tad bit pricey at around $15 for a burger, tots, &a soda. But man was it worth it! Their burgers are cooked medium. We ordered the California burger & added bacon to it. YUMMMM! The sweet potato tots were OH EM GEEE good! If Acelyn B is ok with the idea, I already envision future visits when I head back to Kissimmee for some Disney World adventures with my newly acquired annual pass :)

Great food, high quality burger meat. service was fantastic, nice group of people. The onion rings are awesome. Try the strawberry chi-polite sauce it's really good! Make sure you have cash for a tip, you pay first then they bring your food to the table.

The service here is top notch. Smiles and helpful team members at every corner. The food is SPECTACULAR! Have the blue cheese & bacon chips. So so good!! French onion & Blue cheese burgers were excellent! Great flavor, and the bun is so soft!! Such a great alternative to fast food burgers. Plus they have beer & wine!!

I finally tried this burger spot, thanks to Mark A. & Acelyn B.! I ordered the California burger (w/ sliced avocados, tomatoes, cucumber, and balsamic greens). It was mmm mmm good! I really think the balsamic greens is what made this burger so delicious. Now I'm going to want to add balsamic greens to all of my burgers! I had ordered before reading my friends' previous reviews so I didn't know about the sweet potato tots. Thankfully, my bestie likes to share food so he let me have some of his. Oh my gosh, they were so yummy! Then again what's not to like? Sweet potato, yes! Tater tots, yes! The way it works: you order & pay at the front, they give you a number, pick a table, and they bring the food to you. The staff was very helpful and attentive, which made for a great first experience here. The location is close to Disney in the tourist road of US192. Since it's right off the main road, it's really easy to spot. I'm kinda kicking myself that I waited until now to try this place out since the husband and I will be moving to the Tampa area in a few weeks. However, I know we'll be going to Orlando a lot in the future so I've added this place on my must haves whenever we're in town. Overall a great and delicious experience!

We stopped by here on the Saturday after Thanksgiving for an early dinner. I don't eat red meat so I was a little wary about] this place. We were greeted right away by the guy behind the counter who was incredibly friendly from the moment we walked in to the moment we left (I think his name was Adam). I inquired about the option to sub a chicken breast for a burger which they did. I ordered the French Onion "Burger" and the boyfriend ordered The Don. I got a side of onion rings and he got the 50/50 (1/2 fried pickles, half fried banana peppers). We split a basket of fries, just to try them. As others have said, the burgers do not come with sides. Everything is a la carte, which gets really pricey really fast. For 2 burgers, 3 sides and 1 drink it cost us over $35. Now, here's the breakdown: French Onion Burger (with Chicken): It was a huge burger, branded with the Shula's symbol. The onions were cooked to perfection. The chicken was juicy and not the least bit dry. The croutons were an interesting touch but by the end of the burger they were soggy and unpleasant. The Don: A burger topped with a hot dog. It is as ridiculous as it sounds. My boyfriend ate it and said it was good but honestly, it's more of a novelty than any of the other burgers. Onion Rings: HUGE! These are knife and fork onion rings. You only get 4 for about $4 which seemed really pricey to me but they were huge and well battered. They are thick cut and come with this really yummy chipotle strawberry sauce that tastes like smoky strawberry jam. It was the best part of the onion rings. I probably wouldn't get them again because I can't really see them as being worth the money. 50/50: Looked delicious and you get a lot for your money. The boyfriend inhaled them and wanted more. Fries: They are sea salt fries and in general, they are nothing to write home about. They were well fried so they were crispy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside. My favorite side dish that we purchased that meal. They also have malt vinegar for their fries which is awesome and more places need to provide this! All and all, the atmosphere is casual but classy and while it is very pricey the food was good and the staff were friendly. We'll probably go back but it may be a hard choice because we can go to a sit down restaurant and pay the same for a similar meal.

  • Jake C.

We stopped here for our first time for a quick lunch today. We had the California and Mushroom Swiss burgers. The burgers were juicy and delicious on a fresh bun! I also had fried pickles and fried banana peppers, soooo good! The staff was very friendly and even cleaned the tables, brought extra napkins and offered drink refills! Be aware that a burger doesn't come with a side so you will be paying sit down prices if you want fries or a side with your meal not to mention fountain drinks were like $2.30.

    (5)
  • Joel B.

It wasn't bad, the burger was pretty good and the fries were good, but, not worth the price. That being said I can think of at least "five guys" who can make a better burger for the price. I will admit the Shula on the bun is a neat touch, just bring down the price and it may get you a few stars.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, and was impressed with the clean look and lines of the place. We managed to go during the second week that they opened, so the employee to customer ratio was way out of wack. I felt a little overwhelmed by the amount of people coming by to check on our table, but was grateful that they really cared! Burger was good with no mystery bits; nice flavor and some gourmet toppings like goat cheese amped up my meal. No gluten free buns, so I just had it on a plate. I opted for the sweet potato tots, and they were oddly sweet. I didn't enjoy them at all as a side to my entree. However, if they liberally coated them with powdered sugar and served as a desert it would be on point. I also thought that the price point of $4.99 was steep for the small bowl that was served. The Shula BBQ burger I had was good, little small, but not too small. I was disappointed in the fired products. I got a 50/50 half pickles and pepper rings, and there were only about 5 of each. Very disappointing for around 5 bucks. Place was clean and the people were friendly. Just be more generous with the sides!

The burgers were dry the fries did not taste good the sweet potato tots were mushy the nutella shake tasted like chocolate the people who work there were not interested in helping us and it was not very good at all

Shula burger is keeping up with this burger craze. Shula burger will satisfy any craving that McDonald's or any other fast food burger place cannot. I'm a regular here at Shula burger, and I have found a favorite in the French onion burger. The burgers are great, the sides make it amazing. The sweet potato tots are just the best. I recommend this place for anyone who's staying on Disney property and is tired of eating at their resort. It's just a few min away from Disney's Animal kingdom Lodge. My one downer for Shula burger is the inconsistency in the cooking of the burgers. They aim for medium, which is what I prefer, but it seems like the burger temp is all over the place. I've received my burgers really under done, and I've received them cooked beyond saving. Although the burgers sometimes come out less than perfect, the staff have always been great at fixing their errors and deliver an amazing burger.

I had the French onion burger on my visit. Although it was very tasty, there's just nothing special about this place. $13 for the burger, fries and a drink. There are a few other local places with a better burger and not as pricey. It's worth the visit but that's about it

Constantly a decent burger for a decent price. A little skimpy on the sides at times but definately a good lunch spot.

Very disappointed, not what you would expect for an $8 burger. Smashed flat, low quality beef. Sweet tots were burnt. Also ordered a kids grilled cheese. Awful, I've had better made with an iron in a hotel.

I'm from St. Louis and had never heard of Shula Burger. Vacationing in Kissimmee, went to Yelp on my phone and searched for a restaurant nearby with an affordable price range. Shula Burger was in the top six or so, and sounded good. Loved the food, the friendly and helpful staff, and the outdoor seating. I had the Shula Burger, Sea Salt Fries and Sangria! Really good - wish they had Shula Burger in St. Louis! One tiny complaint - if you ask for a cup for ice water they give you a tiny little plastic cup, about two or three swallows, no kidding. I understand they don't want to spend much on cups for water, but I think they could probably get a similar quality cup, just a bit larger, without spending a fortune. That would be nice. :)

Awesome! I would recommend this place to anyone. French Onion burger and bacon bbq burgers were both delicious. Staff was friendly, soda wasn't watered down fresh brewed ice tea happy happy

  • Tony L.

Burgers were good but the sides were a little skimpy for what you pay. Also started to laugh and then almost walked out when I saw the tiny plastic cup (water cooler size) they gave me because I wanted water to drink. It felt like I was being punished. Luckily the person behind the counter bent the rules and gave me an adult size cup. Very short sided and started my meal with a bad taste in my mouth.

The bill for lunch was about $25. This was for two burgers, an order of fries and an order of onion rings. No beverages! Didn't know I was eating at the Coaches Steakhouse. Thought this was his burger joint. Let's start with the good. The burger was very tasty! Grilled to a perfect medium. Bun was fresh, tons of cheese and mushrooms. The rest was a disappointment. Frozen fries out of a bag that you can get anywhere. FOUR onion rings for $4 and change. They were good but not THAT GOOD! Overall, not a place I would rush back to. Too many restaurants in the area you can pay that much and get the same thing.

Long time fan of five guys and burger 21.. This place might be my new number one when it comes to burger restaurants. I had the BBQ burger it melted all the way down my throat to my belly. Washed it down with a delicious coffee shake. Can't beat it.

Awesome burger and onion rings. Had the french onion burger and it was delicious. I wish I found this place earlier - leaving for Toronto today. I want to franchise one of these up there! If someone reading this knows how to get it Toronto Let me know!

  • John K.

A disappointment. Is it fast food? Is it regular table service? I guess maybe a little of each. You can read a regular menu or you can order from up on the wall like a fast food place. You pay at the counter before you're served like a fast food place. They bring your burger on a real plate and serve fries in a real bowl but you help yourself to soda in a paper cup. The sea salt fries were hot and pretty good but they came out about three minutes after our burgers. The burgers definitely tasted like they were cooked from frozen although the website says they're made fresh. I would definitely rank a BK whopper much higher in taste and texture than a Shula Burger. You'll pay half as much at Burger King and get a much better tasting burger (ok, it's a tie on the fries). Of course if atmosphere is important Shula Burger is WAY more upscale than Burger King. Personally I can say I've been to Shula Burger twice now because that was my FIRST and LAST time.

    (2)
  • Bill M.

Major disappointment. Having ate at Shula Steakhouse in the past we were expecting a really quality burger. It had Shula prices, but nothing exceptional or even noteworthy. Easily ranks well below other burger chains like Fuddruckers, Red Robin, or Burger 21 - simply put it's not really in the same league as a burger from Chilis. Aside from the presentation, cleanliness of the restaurant, and attentive staff it's basically Burger King at 2 to 3 times the price. Considering a Miller's Ale House is directly across the street I really can't see this being a viable option or even staying open long. It's overpriced, under portioned, and really nothing special taste wise.

I loved my visit to the Shula Burger is Kissimmee and I hope that they open a full scale restaurant in the Tampa/St. Pete area soon. This location was adequately staffed (at least 8 cooks in the kitchen), and all of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were immediately greeted by a helpful employee at the door with menus, and we were checked on several times during the meal to make sure everything was ok. This is a quick service burger place so you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. You make your own drinks and get your own condiments. I enjoyed an extra yummy mushroom swiss burger and sea salt fries. I loved the imprinted brioche bun, and the perfect ratio of burger patty, cheese, toppings, and bun. Enjoy a milkshake for dessert or go next door for FroYo at Menchie's.

One of the best burger places in Orlando. Huge, juicy, perfectly seasoned beef with optional unique, fresh toppings. A little pricy, but worth it. One is plenty for two to split, especially if you get a side. Atmosphere is like a classy McDonald's though. That was disappointing. Since they serve beer & wine and have TVs I was hoping for a more relaxed & comfortable atmosphere inviting you to hang out.

The burger was good but not great. Five Guys, which this place is desperately trying to emulate, is better. The sea salt fries were excellent but we had to send them back because they were barely lukewarm when they arrived. Service was great though, and the burger itself was cooked correctly and it tasted good, but it was really nothing special. It was also very pricey, $12 for the burger and fries with water to drink. The burger is not good enough to be in a $12 meal.

Sorely disappointed again! I decided to go back because previous review said onion rings were fried perfectly..again worst onion rings I've ever had, they were fried so hard that the onion disintegrated inside and so hard to eat..fried waay to long, hurt to chew.. Burger was just ok..meat was not hot and the bun was bready and cold..lunch for 2 was $27, not worth it!!

So, I decided I would give this place a third try, hoping that some of the opening kinks had been resolved. Well, it appears they have. The person who took my order offered some suggestions for customizing my meal, and I decided to try one of them. The meal arrived very quickly, and it tasted quite good. This place has definitely earned a few more visits from me now.

Great idea. Loved the decor. Amazing customer service. Unfortunately our burgers were burnt. You guys should have a rare/medium/well done option. Because of this I cannot recommend :( try That One Spot for an actual juicy burger. Sorry :(
