I love OG but, this one is not good. The order is typically wrong and the staff is not well trained. I don't get refills on drinks, salad, soup or breadsticks. I was actually served FROZEN pumpkin cheesecake with chocolate sauce instead of caramel. The girl didn't even ask if that was ok. Just said they were out of caramel and did not tell us they were frozen till we asked. Then her reply was they sold a lot and didn't have any thawed. That would have been good to know BEFORE we ordered them. This is just an example of what happens every time at this location. I only go to the one on Sand Lake Road now.

This Olive Garden is about standard for the chain. They have one thing going for them: Name recognition. There can be a line out the door here, and no one across the street at Macaroni Grill, though the menus are quite similar. Usually, we don't go to Olive Garden because, really, basic pasta-and-sauce, I can do. But for Christmas Eve with friends, it fit the bill. (Note, they close early that evening every year.) I like that the server offered a taste of wine other than the house wine, and had suggestions from the wine list (though I suspect the Chianti he recommended was based on price -- and resulting tip -- more than preference). I had the heavily-advertised Baked Pasta Romano with beef -- and was surprised how much I liked it (though making it with a pasta other than lasagna noodles would be a huge improvement). However, be sure you like spinach if you want this dish. I couldn't see the beef or pasta for all the spinach. For a busy night, when the servers would love to be out early, we were pleased that we weren't rushed at all. It was a great pace for catching up with friends during the holiday. (Though it also satisfied our Olive Garden need until, probably, next Christmas Eve.)

Olive Garden it is a chain, it is consistent, and I cannot help but order the soup and salad every time I have gone in the memorable past. Even though the bread sticks are not what I consider to be "real" bread they are mighty addictive. When I was here last, the service was attentive and helpful especially eating with kids. The last time I visited this particular Olive Garden I was amazed at how really large it was too!!

Just Ok. Nothing more. Nothing less. Usually consistent from one place to the next. Service can make a big difference and, unfortunately, service people come and go so fast it just does not matter what you say one day because it could be another crew the next. Soups good - breads eh - standard salad varies depending on the waiters scoopability - contents can vary from fill to fill. Pasta is ordinary. You will not go wrong with Olive Garden but you will not have truly fine Italian dining.

Came here with family. Their first time here. The food is so delicious. It's personally my favorite restaurant. Maegan was such a great waitress. She was very friendly

Last visit, I came here for lunch. Server forgot to bring my salad plate and only left the big salad bowl on the table and said he would come back with the plate. Fifteen minutes later, still nothing. When he finally got back to our table I had to remind him to bring the plate AGAIN. It took another ten to fifteen minutes for him to finally bring it out. Then he always messed up our order. We had two kids age 3 and 4 and he brought them adult glasses. When we asked for the kids cups his response was "Oh, they want the kids cups?" come on now... Bill was wrong and had to ask to change as well. I understand this server was new, but Olive Garden should only be putting people out to serve after they are a bit more prepared. I am giving them three stars because the soup/salad/breadsticks for lunch never disappoints as far as flavor.

I had soup and salad, person who was serving really knowledgeable, soup was hot and tasty, salad dressing was little too much, but salad was fresh and I enjoyed it. Friendly atmosphere, just relaxed my Saturday lunch, thanks guys

Food was below standard. Seafood dish tasted like it was kept from a week ago and then microwaved when we arrived. Server was nice enough to take the bad dish off the bill.

I went to this particular Olive Garden with some friends. Our waiter that evening was Archie, an unusual name for a Latin looking man. We were greeted and we ordered water for everyone. And we stared at that water for 20 minutes. We all ordered soup and salad. As usual, the food at Olive Garden is very tasty. The soups are always hot and fresh. The salads, you know, the salads are awesome. But the service that evening, left something to be desired. I will not go out of my way to visit this location in the future.

Service here was good, the only complaint would be the food kinda came out cold and for some reason they give u a lot of salad idk why I guess to make us throw away food. But overall it's good. Oh and it gets cold in there so bring a jacket or a scarf

I used to love Olive Garden, but my last few visits have been underwhelming. The food was not flavorful. Today was my last visit. Not worth the $50.00.

Olive Garden is pretty standard food wise no matter what location you go to around the US. It's all about the level of service provided and this location does a fabulous job at that. We were quickly greeted and seated after walking in and the server was always quick on the refills and provided excellent service.

Great service & all staff works together. Very friendly and attentive! Getting entrée took a bit too long though.

We went here for lunch during my Mom's visit solely because she loves this chain, and she especially loves the Zuppa Toscana-which I like too. Anyway, I was fully prepared to order the "safe standard" -soup and salad. Always good. However, I was not aware of the sandwiches that they had added to the lunch menu. I ordered the Smashed Chicken Meatball Sandwich, and my wife and Mom had the Italian Meatball Sandwich. They were REALLY good!! Especially mine. Give this place another shot. You won't be disappointed.

Worst customer service! We just found out that my mother had cancer and we chose to have dinner that night to take our minds away from things, there weren't any bigger tables so they split us into 2 separate booths. Then my parents' waitress was complaining about a joint bill because then she would have to split up tips with our waitress. My parents' food was cold and our orders were misprinted. The waitress began cursing as she walked away loud enough for the other guests in the area to hear while the other waiters and waitresses were laughing. We've never been so humiliated in our life and will NEVER EVER go back here again! There was no professionalism and we didn't even bother to waste our time dealing and telling both waitresses our situation. They even made a commotion when my mother asked for change for a $20 bill. Sad part is she was going to split that between them and then give them more on top of that. Like I said we've never had worse service in our life and the fact that these 2 immature, stupid waitresses believe that they can humiliate and demean someone is just sad! Especially on our worse day as is! My mother quietly left and just told the waitresses that they don't need to hear our story, but their job is to make people feel better; not tarnish the ounce of happiness they have left. Both waitresses scoffed and continued mumbling and cursing as they walked away.

I forget how much I appreciate the updated decor until I drop by. I have ordered take away a couple of times here, and they have a dedicated person to handle just the take aways. Now, for dining in, we had some issues. I knew we would. When I dine with a certain group of people, we always have issues. Not a judgment, just an observation. And true to form, the appetizers became an issue. I just smiled to myself as the server worked to sort everything out. It eventually did get settled--eventually. And everyone seemed happy in the end. Food was good, and consistent with any other Olive Garden I have visited.

Even though it's hit or miss with the severs, but the food is always great. Maybe I'm biased because I've been going to Olive Garden since I was a kid, so I don't think I've met a Tour de Italy that I didn't like. Even so, I have to be as honest as possible. The location isn't that great, dead center in a tourist area, so it's always full. Plus pulling into the place requires some high speed driving maneuvers that I will not admit to doing on social media. Needless to say, traffic sucks. And it's a money trap. Huh?! It's right next to Best Buy (I mean, come on, it's Best Buy!) and across the street from The Loop, an outdoor mall catering to teenie boppers with not nearly enough parental supervision and too much money to spend. (Seriously! I didn't have this kind of money when I was a kid: what the heck!) All in all, I give it 4 spicy meatballs out 5.

Typical O.G. fare and service. Friendly staff, convenient location. The thing about chains is the food should at least be consistent from one location to another. And Olive Garden doesn't disappoint in that regard. It's a good, easy place to meet for a meal :)

Food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Even though they were busy because it was lunch time. We was seated right when we entered the building. And in no time the server was getting our order. The management walked around to check if everything was alright.

My mother and daughter order their food started to enjoy their meal, slipped to the bathroom for a few minutes and returned to their table cleared. They had not paid for their food yet, they had to reorder their food which they got to go by this time. They offered no discount and the food they received to go were only half orders of their original meals. Very poor customer service. My daughter was in tears by the time they left.

SO. Being Italian I don't go to the Olive Garden for the amazing pasta...BUT, I do love the soup. The endless soup bowls are actually really good. Especially the Zuppa Toscana. The sausage, the potatoes, and Kale. I can eat at least 3 bowls. I'm not sure why people love the bread sticks so much, they are bland and pretty dry. But the soup. Just so damn good:) Great for lunch.

I hate to admit that I eat at Olive Garden at times, being a true Italian..but hey, the Soup, Salad and Breadsticks are a pretty good deal for lunch. That is really the only thing I will order from Olive Garden. I'm just not a fan of the nuked meals.

The service was out of this world. Never thought that they could be attentive and always asking if we needed anything. Food was great also even though it took a while to be seated. The place was packed to the hilt. Can't wait to go again. :)

The waitress was great! The food is always just ok. It made such little impression I don't even know what I ordered.

Not only was the service amazing, we were seating literally 2 seconds after we walked in. . ON A FRIDAY. I was truly amazed.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
