Quick Summary: Very authentic food and very soooo goood! There's a reason this place is packed, the crowds all know where the good stuff is! My family noted that they see this new placed packed all the time and was curious as to why, so we ventured in and placed an order to bring home; went with the Lechon Asado and some of the yucca and were we impressed! The meat was very flavorful, tender and moist! We've had quite a bit of roast pork before, but this one was the best yet, delicious. The skin was nice and crispy too! The yucca was also very flavorful and complemented the pork excellently. I haven't had much Puerto Rican food before, and have never been there, but just being in this joint you can tell it is authentic... go give it a try you will be pleased!

Are you KIDDING ME with this place?? I was just in PR last month, and I swear this place has much, much better lechon than Guavate. Their yuca is delicious, the rice is very flavorful, and the amarillos were maduro. I love it! +1 for the decor, it feels like you are at a roadside lechonera en la isla. I will be back!!!

Delicious Authentic Spanish-Rican food!!! I had the yuca rice pork & plantains...the Yuca is Sooooo good & by far my favorite! Arroz con gandules, amarillos, y puerco asado are delicious! The place could use more seating but the foods so good u don't really care where u sit lol My family likes Morcilla- & said it was excellent! Overall I recommend & would love to come back!

Disappointed :( Thought this place would have fresh made to order food. What Spanish restaurant doesn't have chuletas? Rice and beans were good but bread tasted dry and old. Pretty pricey for the amount and quality of the food.

THIS is a real Puerto Rican Lechonera (Instead of steak-house is a roasted-pork-house) with lots of flavor. Great food, kind of small space to eat inside, but huge extension on the backside with ceiling to sit and eat. Nice people, good desserts as well. I loved it! Me encanto comer aqui.

Must try the helado de coco... One taste and your transported back to Puerto Rico. Great atmosphere- the music, food & people can't find another place as authentic as this one is.

The food is delicious...no doubt about that. They also have the best lechon that I've had in the area. Went there a few months ago and the lechon was $6.99 a pound. Went back last week and is was a whopping $10 a pound. Times are tough, so I'll have to find another lechonera.....

This is the closest thing to a home cooked meal. Same good food I had in Puerto Rico. I ordered a combo to go: pollo con arroz y platanos. Ahhhhhh it was so good. They have mini coquitos $2.00 for a small bag of 6. You can dine in or take out. I would totally recommend going here if you're the adventurous foodie.

So disappointed with this restaurant. Yesterday was my second time here and they were out of pork! At a lechoneria and no pork. I left hungry and disappointed. (Not to mention that I was craving pork). This was at 6pm, they are open until 10pm. I dont know how they are in business if the main dish is out so early in the evening. My first time also the same thing happened, so i ordered other food on the menu. The rice was hard amd not good at all. I gave them a second chance and it just didnt workout for me. Not coming back.

I wasn't expecting to be blown away by the pork but it completely took me by surprise. I was craving chicharrones and Alcapurrias and I was very disappointed that they didn't have chicharrones so I ordered a half pound of Lechon instead. I have had Lechon throughout my life and I have never encountered a lechon with a smoky flavor and aroma, until today. It was tender, juicy and the pig skin was crunchy and delicious. When I looked at the chunks of meat, you could distinctly see the 3 layers which consist of the skin, the fat and the meat. Unlike PR, they do not cook the full pig on the rotisserie due to health codes but they had what looked like half a pig on display in their food case. I went ahead and ordered 4 Alcapurrias (fried fritters made with green banana and ground beef) to take home because I couldn't resist. The lady told me she would fry them up and that it would take 10 minutes, well worth it! These Alcapurrias were good sized, full of meat and filled with flavor. The interior of this restaurant is culturally inspiring and it is decorated to reflect the island of Puerto Rico. Many license plates for the different municipalities of PR are hung on the wall and the tables are designed to show the culture and beauty of this tiny island. Salsa is being played throughout the day so be prepared to start dancing. The lady behind the counter was friendly and provided excellent customer service. It's well priced for the quality you are receiving. I have driven by this place on the weekends and it gets super packed. They have a covered patio next to the restaurant where they play live music while people enjoy their Lechon. This restaurant is located on the way to Poinciana on John Young Pkwy approaching Pleasant Hill Road.

So this is a pretty sweet story. @Xobejm has a classmate who has been with her since pre- K. Celia and @xobejm have been friends ever since and one day we heard Celia's parents own a restaurant. Being the hungry man that I am I asked where it was. El Jibarito has been open for one year so far and it's in Kissimmee closer to the Poinciana area. I wanted to come on Labor Day and they were packed. So I left heart broken and with an empty stomach. I was on a mission to come today no matter what the traffic looked like and fill up my belly!! Luckily I picked a day and a time where most people are just leaving work. @Xobejm and I were ready to eat. The place is huge. Very nice and extremely clean. The tables have Puerto Rican names and motifs. The tables are lower to the floor and the designs are gorgeous. @Xobejm ordered the Chicken with white rice and beans. I ordered the Pastel. Had to do it. I also ordered the Chicken Noodle Soup. This was way too yummy. (All I needed was a soda on the side) Overall the service was excellent. Food was on point. Everything had flavor and we left that place licking our fingers. This is a must try in Kissimmee. Hector y Lisandra. Muchas gracias por todo. Todo estaba delicioso. Tienen un restaurante muy lindo. Los deseo mucha suerte.

Food was on point loved the music the beer deal is the best we have found and we can't wait to go back today for the show of singers battling each other in political views

A disappointment, I drove 40 minutes to be sadly disappointed. The food was awful the service also. The rice was like glue and the pernil was not meat just bones and I don't know what kind of rub they used but it sure was not Puerto Rican seasoning/tasting at all. I would not recommend to anyone.
