I've been a fan of Thai food for sometime and have eaten at nearby Thai restaurants here in the Jupiter/ Tequesta area. SALA THAI is the best flavored Thai food around. The lunch special for $7.95 is a belly buster if you have the Pad Thai, included is a small cup of soup and spring roll. Service is always good and the food is even better! Don't miss this place.... FIVE STARS!!

Disclaimer: I am a picky eater. Despite my selective palate, I have grown to love several Asian plates. You just can't go wrong with fried rice! There were several other options in the shopping center so we were unsure about Sala Thai, but my boyfriend loves Thai so we ended up going there. We ordered fried and steamed rolls for appetizers. I usually love friend rolls but these were 99.9% lettuce... what's so special about rolled and fried lettuce? For my meal I had shrimp fried rice which was delicious but not in any outstanding way. My boyfriend had a spicy tomato based soup which he said was good. The waitress was helpful in answering questions and pleasant. However, both the steam roll and the soup had shrimp after we specified that he was allergic to shrimp. Overall, some of the meals are really tasty and the entire restaurant is authentically Thai. If you are in the area, I would suggest trying it for a change but I'm not sure I would go out of my way for this place.

Spring roll and Tom yum going soup, then pad Thai and p c duck. Three martinis. Service was excellent. Number one was hot enough for us after the very spicy number two soup. No room for dessert. $72 before tip. Great service and food

This is the worst Thai restaurant that I have eaten! Never come again! The slow service and the bad food!

The menu provided on the Yelp site is not up to date. We had to hang up and call back with a different order. We ordered a few different menu items: the love platter, stir fried chicken with basil and chili and sala Thai volcano shrimp. The food was really good although the shrimp dish was a little less crispy than desired. But this is to be expected with delivery, especially on a busy Friday night. The food hit the spot, we actually saved the volcano sauce to use later on. We will order from here again!

My go-to Thai spot in Jupiter. Granted, I've had better in NY. But pretty damn tasty, depending on what you get of course. I actually have a friend who travels here all the way from Ft. Lauderdale because she claims their pad thai is the best. I wouldn't know bc I hate pad thai myself... too boring of an entree choice for me. Anyways, I recommend their tom yum soup, especially when you're sick.. it'll clear up all your sinuses. And their lunch special is a great deal.. which includes a spring roll and soup :)

Being going here for years. They now have a liquor license. Yeah!!! Pad Thai 3 star is the bomb!!!! Try the fried rice too. It tastes even better the next day.

We read the reviews...best Thai food in the area...best service...hum...that's not what we found. I happen to love Thai food...I seek it out in many cities...I have had some wonderful dishes in hole-in-the wall family-run places, cooked by beautiful grandmas and served by happy, kind staff. This does not describe Sala Thai. The staff was not friendly at all...we could never get a refill of jasmine tea or water. The food was marginal at best. The Pad Thai was the strangest flavor I have ever experienced...It tasted like pineapple...what happened to my peanut sauce... I'm not sure what kind of comparison other reviewers are judging this establishment by, but for us, it was not a good authentic Thai experience.

Had takeout Masaman chicken last night. The sauce was just ok and the pineapple was kind of strange. Service was on time and very friendly. The inside was relaxed and clean. I might give them another try.

We've been coming here for years and our most recent visit, with a group of fifteen diners, reaffirmed for us that this is the go to place for Thai food. Complex flavors, not your usual slapped together Thai food....really brought us back to our trip to Thailand this summer with well prepared, fresh ingredients and care clearly taken to season the dishes appropriately. The grouper in clay pot was a stand out...incredibly fresh. Huge portions for each dish. Massaman curry, chicken and beef satays, clay pot chicken, vegetarian spring rolls (unusually good), pineapple chicken fried rice, crispy duck...all well prepared. Though the place was packed, service was prompt and attentive. Definitely will be visiting again!

A day at the beach, what could be more fun? How about some yummy Thai food afterwards? Since I am still from Chicago at heart, and had lived in the city many years, hole in the wall joints don't scare me. Sometimes they can be the best. The whole suburban restaurants in strip malls thing still kind of throws me. This place was conveniently located in between a day spa and a foot clinic. If you need a seaweed facial or are still having problems with that pesky in grown toenail, this could be the place for you! If you are looking for a great dining experience, maybe not so much. We waited for about 5 minutes to be seated even though the place was empty. Menus came quickly, as did our drink orders. The green tea had little or no flavor. We started with the steamed dumpling appetizer made with chicken, shrimp, mushrooms and water chestnuts. They were very good and the sauce was even better. It is the only thing stopping me from giving this place a one star review. We finished our appetizers and stared at the empty plates for 35 minutes. (did I mention the place was empty?) My main course of chicken and shrimp Pad Thai finally came. and the appetizer plates were cleared. I have had Pad Thai many different places, but I am not even sure how to describe the flavor. First it had no peanut sauce taste of any sort. There were, however, a small pile of crushed, uncooked peanuts in one corner of the plate. The flavor of the sauce was a sweet pineapple taste, that I would associated mare with a sweet and sour dish. The meat was pretty much non existent with 3 small chunks of chicken and 2 one inch tail on (which doesn't bother me) shrimp. We never saw our server again until the bill was presented. My water glass and drink stood empty, lonely and dejected and no one seemed to care. The staff seemed busy entertaining a very loud and intoxicated gentleman and his wife who seemed to be regulars. It was wonderful to enjoy our meal to the background track of shrill laughter and loud interjections of "no one is perfect, but I am" and "I can't believe women can vote, If I had my way they would even be able to drive". The atmosphere is typical curio shop Asian with lanterns and other knick knacks. The bathrooms were clean. I read a review that stated something the authentic Thai costumes, but apparently those staff members were absent the night we went. bottom line: I was disappointed by the food, the service, and the fact that the staff not only allowed a guest to be loud and disruptive to other diners, but they encouraged it.

Ate there once so far and was very impressed. The pad Thai wasn't too sweet and filled with good quality and good sized shrimp. The knife skills of the sushi chef were excellent and our black dragon was really good.

Excellent food, great service. On a Friday night when people are waiting 45+ minutes to be seated you can always get a table at Sala Thai. In fact, we have came here a number of times after trying to go to Food Shack which is always a 60+ minute wait. The wait staff and owner are very friendly and attentive. The food is great, Pad Thai with shrimp is excellent, the portions are very large (so come hungry). Additionally, the Thai Coffee is great.

My favorite dish, Pad Thai, is not up to par at this restaurant. However, they have delicious Garlic & Pepper Chicken, Thai Ice Tea, and Fried Banana. Waitress staff is very prompt and friendly. Only disappointment is their Pad Thai as previously mentioned.

This was one of the very few restaurants open on Xmas day. It was packed. After a 45 minute wait, watching servers race around in an effort to encourage smooth service our party of 4 was seated. The waitstaff apologized for the delay and took our order, explaining the each dish and degree of heat option. Mar had a mild pad thai and cleaned her plate. Davis enjoyed a chicken/ pineapple combo at spice level 3 . Marty had duck breast with sauce on the side to keep the skin crispy. Only level 1. Just like he prefers. His vegetables did get cold tho. I had a vegetable curry at not quite thai hot and loved it. So much I had to take some home. Being open on a holiday was a very smart business decision...and a delicious choice for us.

Excellent original Thai food also service. My drinking water always filled up top, no problem with spicy dishes. Will come again with my friends.

It's funny to visit Jupiter and eat Thai food. But you can only have so much seafood before you crave some spicy asian food. Found this hole in the wall - holy sh*t! It was authentic and very yummy. I was so impressed we returned a couple nights later. Some of the items I enjoyed - pad see ew noodles (better than pad thai), tom yong gong soup, pork/bamboo shoot green curry, shrimp salad, chicken salad. All were great. The best part is it's authentic thai - not so much "americanized".

This place is delicious. I've only ever carried out from there, so I don't have much to say about the service or the restaurant itself.

We have been visiting with our friends at Sala Thai since we moved to Florida in 2001, having dined there more times than we can count. Decor is purely Thai traditionally influenced, with details down to fresh orchids on your table. Servers greet you in colorful and exotic Thai costume. Their food is consistently excellent; the menu featuring numerous Thai specialties as well as frequently rotated daily specials. We order our entrees with 5 star heat, and keep the fire supressed with their fragrant jasmine rice and plenty of ice-cold Singha Thai beer. Chicken or pork satay is served with small bbq's on which to brown the appetizer to your preferred doneness. Phad Thai, the fabulous Thai noodle dish is, in my opinion the best to be found in our area. Thai-style sweet iced coffee is a mellow dessert to finish off the entirely superior dining experience.
