When the HOT sign is lit, you can count on some awesome deliciousness inside. I only give them a 3 star rating because as donuts go, I find these are only good hot or at least warm. Once they cool off, they are not that good at all. In fact, I feel guilty eating the hot ones due to the high calories, but am willing to put aside rational thinking and devour them when hot. Eating a cold Krispy Kreme always make me think to myself, "What are you doing? This is just empty calories.". Like I said, while HOT, I lose my mind on these delicioius treats, which is why I am sure they like to advertise when they are "Fresh! HOT! Now" by that red light out front which guides even the most dilligent dieter off course and into line with the other that are all gawking at the donuts as they come sliding down the racks after having previously been swimming in the hot oil and topped off with a heavy topping of that rich, delicious, sinful goo that they call "glaze".

I love getting donuts from crispy cream their donuts melt in your mouth... Their chocolate chocolate shakes are so delicious as well. The donuts at crispy cream are like night and day compared to dunkin donuts

The donuts were good, of course, but the service was not. The guy who helped me was rushing me despite only one customer behind me, who was quickly helped by another worker. He proceeded to put 6 plan glazed donuts into 2 of my 3 boxes of dozen donuts when I had asked for variety-dozens. The lady ringing me up asked him about it because there is a price difference and she saw him putting regulars in. He was short with her and insisted that I had the variety-dozen boxes and that I should be charged as such. I was in my military uniform and he looked at me and said "you can afford it." I was disappointed not only in how he treated me but also the negative way he interacted with his coworker. I'd love to go back and get more of their delicious donuts but will probably not be returning to this store.

This location is very clean and smells awesome. There's no way you could say no to one of their donuts after experiencing the mouth watering aroma. The variety makes it difficult for someone on a diet to get just one beautiful pastry. It's well worth the long drive thru full of people going to work and starting their day with a lovely biscuit of happiness. Let's not forget the most friendly staff on the Westside.

Couldn't resist ending my evening without stopping to get some hot delicousness! The hot now sign seems to always be on, which is a good thing. The employees are always friendly, but why wouldn't they be when they are working in that wonderful aroma atmosphere!?! They managed to upsale me tonight, which I think was not too terribly difficult. And they are fast! Even when there is a line wrapped around the building, they get you in and out in no time. Can't wait til my next visit!

Oh Krispy Kreme, you gorgeous, charismatic, EVIL thing you! Ever since we first met, there's been no other donut for me...none of them even come close to your light as air, blood spikingly sweet, oh so warm, literally melt-in-your-mouth bliss! I stand by the belief that either 1) the makers add a dash of crack into the glaze or 2) God sends His angels in the dead of night to cry beautiful tears into every batch. There's NO other explanation. lol Now that I've gotten that out of my system, I am SO stoked about one being close to me! The store is clean, the staff is friendly and miracously not obese (I say that cause, c'mon let's be honest...if any of us worked at KK, our breakfast/lunch/dinner would consist of the Original Glaze! No? Well, I know mine would...). To top things off, there is ALWAYS some kind of great deal/discount going on and even where there isn't, the prices are fair for what you get. I definitely have to leave my comfort zone and try the other flavors as well as the donut compatible drinks. Planning my next visit at this very moment :-)

Hot. Fresh. Now. That sign is a siren call to my fat cells and sweet tooth. One I rarely ignore. Ok fine, I'll fess up, one I never ignore. Thank god I don't have to drive past this daily or I'd be ten sizes bigger. One bite into the glazed fresh from the little factory fry bath and sugar dip makes you forget your resolutions as the donut melts into your mouth. Another bite cements the inevitability of you having another. I'd have the whole box if I wouldn't end up in a diabetic coma but even that would be ok. Fortunately, I have three equally addicted children who make me share the box with them. They force me to be a good mom with their whole sharing is caring schtick that they do. Ugh, kids nowadays. Of course, in addition to that big, beautiful, retro neon sign at the original location, they have the donut factory inside. Still mesmerizing. Standing there, sipping an ice cold milk or a warm coffee in a meditative state with sugar from the glazed donut you've just inhaled clinging to your lips is very soothing, very zen in its own way. This is the only donut shop I'm happy to get a dozen plain glazed. But since I also love the Boston creme we spring for a 2nd box of fancies. The sprinkled chocolate glazed for the kiddos and those kreullers for the hubs. The powdered creme filled ones? Yup some of those please and a couple of cake donuts too. Whatever--get one of each. It's. All. Good.

What's not to love about doughnuts and coffee? I have long waited the reopening of this location and I am so glad they reopened. The service is friendly the wait can get a little backed up at times but its worth it. The only reason I am giving them 4stars and not 5 is because they did away with the styrofoam cups in favor of those paper ones.

Would have given 5 Stars, but, two of the employees said No Wifi!!! Why not Wifi??? Especially since it's a brand new facility. Please add wifi to your To Do List.

The original Krispy Kreme that sat on this lot was closed years ago and the Westside of Jacksonville went into a donut depression. Other brands opened in the area, but they did not satisfy a true Hot & Fresh KK kraving. Yes, you can buy them in grocery stores and gas stations, but it just isn't the same. Well the donut gods overheard our lamentations and Krispy Kreme rebuilt their store on the same lot as the old. The new building is modern and clean, with 2 booths, 2 "hi-tops", a bar seating 4 and a mini-couch & 2 chairs, giving it a mini-hipster vibe overall, especially with the old-timey pictures on the walls. The walls between the "dining area" and the kitchen are glass so you can watch the original KK donuts travel the conveyor belt from dough to glazed doughnut ready to be boxed. (Let me tell you, grown-ups are as hypnotized by the sight as the kids are!) The store is spotless and smells like heaven, if heaven baked hot fresh glazed donuts. The workers were hustling, but very friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. I was there to try two of their new creations, the Caramel Chocolate Pretzel Doughnut and the Dark Chocolate Caramel Kreme Doughnut (see my pics). Both were delicious but the first one was the best. My husband and my daughter had other donuts and they loved them all. I honestly don't know how to describe it, but I had expectations and Krispy Kreme went beyond them. For drinks, we had the Iced Caramel Coffee and Mocha Dream Chiller. Their iced coffee was really delicious and, in my opinion, superior to the other donut company's fare. My daughter had the chiller (more of a milk shake consistency) and that was very delicious as well. My husband had a shot of espresso and said it was pretty good quality coffee. LOL Listen, this isn't health food and a lot of people on other sites complain about that, but it's a fabulous treat for a great price and if you go when the "HOT" light is on, you can watch the donuts actually be made and that is an added bonus. Oh, and one last thing. The drive-thru is open 24 hours. O.M.G....

The doughnuts are legendary, you already know that(if you don't, its time to get from under that rock). The only problem I have with this location is that douchebags that come through the drive-thru with large orders instead of taking their lazy behinds into the store.

The inside store is open til 11pm, but the drive thru is 24 hours, and the glazed donuts are often fresh and still warm off the line. Several varieties to choose from and usually at least 2 seasonal offerings. Currently Glazed Pumpkin Spice Cake & Pumpkin Cheesecake are the fall selections and both are very good. Order a Pumpkin Latte or a hot chocolate to go with it and enjoy.

OPEN 24/7 Drive-thru and the inside open from 6am-11pm everyday. Drive-thru is 24-hours so that means this place never closes. I'm updating my review as I have tiny crystalline sugar bits stuck to my lips while inhaling the third warm, original glazed (oh yes fluffy pillow of Heaven I'm going to eat you) from my dozen. The little joys of life... So happy the boy is asleep so I don't have to share. :) Great service, convenient drive thru!

Krispy Kreme sell the best donuts in town and don't get them when they are warm talking about eating about four back to back so if you live on the west side there is a Krispy Kreme near by look for the sign on that say's warm then get them and go for it.

My favorite KK location :) Service and doughnuts are consistently good. I usually leave the store with more than just a few doughnuts--typically at least a dozen...sometimes two if I feel extra glutinous :B

Fresh doughnuts! Friendly staff with multitude of doughnuts and doughnut hole, bottled iced coffee, milk, & juices! Watch the doughnuts made in house, nothing like a fresh made doughnut...
