Ok people this is a franchise and a buffet what do you expect? Every time I have came here (pick the best time to beat crowds) never had any problems, food hot and cooked well, service great, they just have the same food over and over( gets old) like any buffet kids crowding, church members crowding, or a bus full just got in line in front of you! Ya get what you pay for! This is the only buffet In homestead besides Chinese. Overall it is a typical buffet and cost efficient .

Keep driving! Bad Food and Service The lines are long to get in and once you are inside your horrible experience begins. The restaurant, tables, plates, and silverware are Dirty. The waitress take their time to bring you refills cause they are on the phone or arguing with the manager cause there's to many of them on the floor. They have different stations of food but they are messy and not restocked properly. Tried some salads like green bean and the twisted pasta salad both had way to much vinegar. The steak was chewy and over cooked. The shrimp are very small that they offer and the crab cakes have hardly any crab! The dessert station is a mess. Kids all over by the ice cream sticking their hands all in the toppings. The cakes and pies taste good but that's about it.

Very good Thanksgiving Day buffet. Couple of flaws short of five star rating. Meat serving awkward. Having to reach plate over turkey and under sneeze guard was kinda like sliding a plate thru a prison door food slot for seconds. Dinner rolls, a golden coral specialty and a thanksgiving day favorite were in short supply and slightly doughy. A hundred dollars of thanksgiving decorations would have went a long way. On plus side service was great, dining area was clean, and meats were fresh and moist. Not a bad choice for a thanksgiving day buffet in Miami.

Suffice to say: the only reason we go is because my kid loves the dessert bar...

First time I went here, I went with my husband and son. And meehh it was okay. It's a cheap buffet so, I wasn't expecting the best meal ever. The waiter was nice, really sweet, and prompt with our drinks. What concerned me was the smell of our seating area! It had that dirty carpet smell if hasn't been cleaned in a LONG while. And it was strong. It was hard for me to eat my food so I didn't eat that much. The rolls were good. The food was alright but I told myself that I didn't want to eat here again. My husband convinced me to go back there again with him. He said to me, "Maybe it was an off-day. Everything deserves a second chance. If it's the same thing, we won't come here again". Alright, fine. Deal. This time, we decided to sit on the right side of the buffet. The smell wasn't as bad as the other side but it was still kind of dirty. Crumbs on the floor and a couple tables. Our server was sweet. They had pretty much the same food as last time. (Oh great...) I went to the salad bar. I saw some strawberries and put a few on my plate. I picked up the 4th strawberry and saw something black. I checked it out, and it was big. I don't know WHAT that was but it was disgusting. OOOOKAY! I'M GOOD ON THE SALAD BAR! I pretty much ate rolls for the night. So yeah, I recommend the rolls.. and the rolls.. never coming back here though.

The only reason why they get low star is because the staff has no respect for customers and their children. The staff was to busy cursing at each other and hitting on each other while guest were around. First and last time coming.

A friend invited me to this place a while back. He's been in the food industry for a long time and is very conscious about proper sanitation. The place didn't seem dirty as some of the previous reviews suggested, so I'm guessing they got new management and cleaned up their act. The food was great, as was the service. The desserts are delicious, so make sure you save some room. The only thing about the place is the type of people that go there. Not all of them are bad, but when you consider the type of deal you're getting, you're bound to find some of the Walmart crowd in there. If you can live with that, you'll definitely enjoy your time here. I wish they would open up a restaurant more closer to my area; we had to drive from SW 24th ST (the restaurant is located around SW 330th ST). Great place, highly recommended!

This is a franchise but I must say the cooking staff it's mostly Hispanic and food taste better. Place looks clean and food it's arrange in better order than other establishments. Staff it's extremely friendly and efficient.

Very good meal..this has to be the best Golden Corral I have been to several other locations. The server kept the drinks full and plates cleared.

Maybe because I live in NYC I love this place more than locals. The food is always great to me at this location and we always have a nice server. No complaints here.

Zero stars. I've been in the restaurant industry for 5 years and I've never seen such horrible pig sty in my life. I felt like a homeless individual waiting to be fed. The food was horrible quality and I felt like I was eating prison cafeteria food. It's crowded and filthy. The kitchen workers probably even sweat in your food. I'm NEVER going to eat there again!

Great fresh food! This place was crowded and the food was looking sloppy too many kids serving themselves! (Parents please monitor your children) Overall it was ok. Service can be better and wipe down your silverware!

Ok folks, its a buffet so don't expect Christy's. As buffets go though, with the recently renovated dinning room and restrooms and pretty good food, this is probably as good as you're going to find. Everything was fresh and tasty, my steak was tender and cooked the way I like. One new addition is a fresh seafood sauté which was excellent. Tonight they had an entertainer named Mr Magic who was really good! He made my son a balloon animal and did some tricks...as we love magic, it was worth the trip south for the dinner show:)

Let's start off with the cashiers that were apparently too good to be working there (-_-). As we make our way through the crowds of savages to get to our seats, we are greeted by our lovely waitresses...the only nice thing about this place. Our attempt to make it to the buffet spread was rough with all the people dodging around you to get to the food, which I'm sure barely passes FDA standards. We stand on line on a damp carpet that smelled like people just stood there and pissed so they wouldn't miss out on the food, which didn't look that bad, but was worse than you can imagine. I went to the zoo and saw an elephant piss and take a dump while eating...that was somehow cleaner than the bathroom at the Golden Corral! With kids running around going crazy for the deserts I thought that would make things better... I was disappointed once more. Strawberries were rotten, cookies were stale, and the ice cream was subpar (I'm not sure if you could actually consider it ice cream). The best thing about that place was the parking lot.

Meh. This was QUITE the experience coming to this place. Super trashy people! I came with some friends to munch out. The line was ridiculous. There were a herd of mexicans standing in line behind us and they tried to cut us in line! omg! my friend was like "maybe if it was 1 or 2 of you, ok, but theres like 20 of you, wait in line". The food is cheap, that's the only positive review i have about this place. Oh, and the Banana Pudding! This place was so packed that I felt like i was literally fighting for my food. the people that come here are really aggressive for some reason. I felt like i was stuck in Miami car traffic. The place is pretty dirty, but you get what you pay for! The service bad. I didn't get a refill on my drink at all. The ones i've been to in orlando and tampa are WAY better. Just go to Cracker Barrel!

Okay, service isn't great but food is usually decent. I been here bunch of times. Each time has been different. It's always packed too. Bathrooms are not the best looking! I've never had a huge complaint until one day a kitchen worker came out to the buffet carrying either a whole Ham or roast & he dropped the dam thing on the floor!!! He looked around you see if anyone saw that & placed it on the tray anyway . Yuck. I sure did open my mouth & told him a few words on my mind . Who knows what happens in the kitchen to any restaurant but that was shocking. My parents love this place so ill be coming back with caution.

Absolutely terrible food, service and atmosphere. The 8 dollars Buffett at UCF looks like a five star Las Vegas Buffett compared to this place. Please avoid this place at all costs.

I have to agree with the other two reviewers. As a frequent government business traveler to the Homestead area, I spend a week or more at a time in the area and have to either buy something to take back to the room or eat out. During the three trips to this particular Golden Corral, I pretty much didn't have much say since we were going as a group. When consistency of quality is a major goal for any business, this restaurant seems to thrive on being consistently BAD. For one, the service is horrible. If the employees aren't rude when they come by, they're absent all together. The restaurant itself is filthy. You can judge a lot by how clean the floors are kept. The last time I was in there, food and litter had replaced the carpeting. The buffets are only occasionally wiped down. The food is outright lousy. If it isn't cold, it's old. I did not know cheese sauce was supposed to be a solid. The broccoli was brown, the friend chicken was undercooked, the pastas were either pasty or dried out, and the dessert bar was just a disaster area. And I don't know what it is about this place, but EVERY time I order tea, it's gone bad. You know bad tea - it's got that foul, sour taste to it. Either they don't bother cleaning their tea dispensers or they don't sell a lot of tea. Perhaps it's a little of both. And having suffered through the tea, if you ask for soda instead, expect it to be flat or too syrupy. I'm afraid to ask for water. And if that weren't enough, the last time I ate there, I spent three days locked in my motel room due to food poisoning. I thought I was going to die I was expurgating so much. For heaven's sake, if you have to eat out, go somewhere else. Sonny's BBQ is right next door and is far cleaner and the food is far better. This Golden Corral, which I have filed complaints with both the state and the corporate office, is a disgrace. It's a franchise that should be closed. I still like Golden Corral though, but I only eat at the one in Palm Bay (different owner), 230 miles north of this disaster.

I'm sorry, but I guess I had better memories of Golden Corral. I feel like it should be difficult to dislike everything in a buffet with a lot of variety, but that's exactly what happened here. Actually, scratch that, the only items I enjoyed were the bread rolls. The food was cold, some of the plates were a little dirty, and the cooks were unresponsive when asked any question about the food. The waitresses were fine, but obviously very busy. There are a lot of restaurants in this area... should be easy to avoid this one.

This is my first time eating at Golden Corral. We arrived at noonish and it wasn't too busy. It wasn't a mess like some buffets can get. Their buffet selection as actually pretty good. I ate lil bits of everything: lemon-buttered tilapia, burger sliders, bourbon chicken, pot roast, etc. I would say that I definitely will come back.

I've definitely been to better Golden Corrals in Texas and in Orlando. This one always seems to feel dirty and always has some kind of a "not so clean" smell. The food is OK at best. The place is always packed and there is usually a long line to get in. I've been to this location a few times to try and give it opportunities to prove itself. I hoped that the negative things that I have experienced were just a fluke considering I've had much better experiences at other locations but I guess this location is just poorly managed or something. I guess the only thing I can say is that they are consistent, but in this case they are consistent in negative things.

Yuuuuuuuuuuck!!!!!!! Normally I'm fond of buffets (especially for those days when I haven't been able to eat all day thanks to scheduling and can indulge) but this place was just... ugh. Some of the food items were passably tasty (in a microwave tasty way) and their salad bar had a few items I don't always see, but most of the options were so.... greasy. Like, I can feel body preparing for a heart attack greasy. The place was packed and, quite frankly, most of the clientele didn't seem like the sort of people who were EXTREMELY health conscious. Also, this seemed to be a popular place to come to if you had a large family with several kids. Kids with behavioral problems. The bathrooms were disgusting, with sticky floors and other substances best not combined with a dining out. To add an extra touch to what was already turning out to be a nauseating experience, the girl in the bathroom stall next to me was vomitting up a storm. Yikes.
