I went here a few times only because I needed something to eat, and mostly it was their brown rice side orders and their classic/popular chicken sandwich. More of a local fast food joint. Used the drive-thru each time, service was okay, but sometimes took a little while.

I love pollo tropical but the employees at this location are rude and not helpful at all... After dealing with the same behavior for one year ... Come on people i live down the street i want chicken always messing my order giving totally different thing and i asked for cilantro sause she said to me at the drive thru ... " i have no time to get you that if you want you can come in and serve yourself" . There is a reason for the existence of a drive thru ... Management need to do something not eating at this location no more After one year I give up...

If I could give this place no stars I would. I understand that the store closes at midnight and I understand that the kitchen runs out of things and doesn't want to make anything new when they've run out. What I don't understand is the attitude that the person at the window gave me when I asked for a handful of the curry mustard. Of course I'm going to ask for more than two if you don't even fill it up halfway. Maybe if you put enough in the containers I would have to ask for 8 to get two littles worth of sauce. Also, when taking the order I don't understand how the person couldn't get "two tropichops one with only onion, pork and rice the other with pork, rice and everything" right. They gave us two but both of them had onion, rice, pork, and beans. That's it. What's so hard about getting the order right? It's not like we asked for things on the side or to bend over backwards. And if it's the last of your stuff why wouldn't you get the order right? It's really not that difficult and I don't understand why the attitude was necessary. During the day it's okay but this is the third time I've tried to get something from there at night and I've gotten attitude. Stay away at night.

I must admit, Pollo Tropical is a favorite of mine. Quick, Fresh, and tasty. However at this particular location this place gets crowded, and I mean CROWDED at around 6-730P. Not sure why, and the walk in lines are no quicker than drive thru. The food is pretty good so I suppose that is why there are lines!

I feel a bit ridiculous reviewing a fast food franchise but I need to let everyone know this pollo tropical is terrible. The intercom sounds like an intercom from the 1980s. Can't understand anything. After a 20 minute drive-thru wait they were rushing our order. They got 2 items of the order wrong and never apologized but all 3 employee girls we're happy to give us attitudes and dirty looks. The nasty attitude alone makes me never want to come back here again. I know it doesn't matter because it's a fast food as people will come here anyway. Crappy employee attitudes. No effort at all for customer service. When we got the food home the sweet plantains we ordered had gelatinous egg like balls in them. I'll post the pcks. Gross. Made me a bit sick. The manager must have been on vacation or not care. Good luck eating here

Yes it's busy at lunch! Line went all the way to the back of the restaurant!! And they are not very fast. Eventually got to the front and ordered 1/4 white meat meal, picking 2 Caesar salads as my sides. I was able to get them with no dressing, and used my own lo-cal that I brought with me. Chicken was decent, a little dry but otherwise ok. Salad (lettuce) was good, fresh with no brown spots. Economical and healthy, not bad for fast food!

I can't believe this was fast food! :) We tried the Roast Chicken and Ribs platter with rice/beans, yucca, platanos maduros, and ended with a Tres Leches cake to share among three people. We had many leftovers that we took home for my uncle to enjoy for lunch the next day. Delicious, affordable and the staff was quick. What else can you ask for? :)

food is average but cheap! place is really crowded whenever I go there! it is pretty clean so, it is on my list of fast food places I will goto!

WARNING! If you go on a weekday between the hours of 12:00-2:00 pm be ready to wait and wait a LONG time. Nevertheless, this is my favorite go to work week lunch place. It's like every other pollo tropical. I mean with pollo tropical, you have seen one, you have seen them all. But if you want to eat healthy fresh food, this is the place to go for lunch. My protein only days drive me here for the chicken breast.

One day it taste fresh - the next like it has been sitting out all week. One day they try decently assemble the chicken quesadilla wrap - next they forget half of the ingredients. Any day can be a hit or miss but when the food is good it is pretty good.

Long lines not worth it because the drive thru people are rude. God forbid you ask for Mountain Dew. They only carry coke products but they will get an attitude if you ask. Of course because the customers we should know we work there right?? FOH

Pollo Tropical is such a great chain to order a Healthy meal if you choose to! I love the half Grilled Chicken platter, I get double salad. If you don't want dressing, Good Luck! I've tried and the staff is Clueless and they just make Cesar's. There is outdoor seating nice view of the Busy Parking lot and Sheridan Street. - I recommend going through the drive through at this location. It's loud and obnoxious with children running around undisciplined. Drive through is fast too! The chicken is perfect and the dipping sauces are great too just FYI they're Mayo based or Sweet which means = major calories, check their website for details. Delicious Grilled Fresh Chicken, crisp Romaine Lettuce here, Black Beans, Rice, Make Great choices for nutritious food.

I realize this is a fast food joint. But when I visit SoFla, a visit here is one of my must-dos. These are just flavors you can't get up in the Northeast! I almost always get a pork tropi-chop with a side of sweet plantains. It's enough food to get me through 2 meals, and for a fast food place it is surprisingly healthy! The one downside is that the wait is usually very long, and they can be pretty disorganized. I am willing to stick it out because I know that means they're making my food fresh and from actual ingredients, not gross frozen patties of meat. If I lived in Florida I'd probably stick my nose up at Pollo Tropical, but as a tourist it is always worth a quick visit!
