Really bad. Meat tasted so bad. The manager very rude. Very bad experience.

The Boardwalk is littered with cheap places to eat, this is one of them. Stick with their Italian offerings, the pizza looked pretty good. Stay away from the salads, they are pathetic. Stop by only for a drink on a hot day, get your real meals elsewhere. Check your bill before paying, ours was $10 over.

don't ever eat here. filthy. i sent back a filthy glass of water waited 10 minutes and he brings same glass back and says is just lemon, then i look over and my nice's coffee cup has lipstick all over it so we walk out and the rude waiter follows us to the restaurant next door and screams out that we just walked out on him! dont go thre.

So we arrived to have breakfast on Sunday a.m. - busy but not packed. Ordered with the distracted but pleasant waitress. 45 minutes later she had not been back except to refill our coffee once after we waved our arms madly to get her attention. We asked about our food - which was a very basic breakfast order with no substitutions. She told us the kitchen had just started to cook it. We told her we would leave as the situation was clearly ridiculous and 2/3 of the people were sat with no food and were as unhappy as us. She said we'd have to pay for our drinks. We told her that it was really bad form to ask us to pay for the drinks (coffee) and asked to speak to the manager. She told us the Manager didn't care and would not come out to talk to us - she said it happened all the time. We paid and left. Average to bad food and service, and insanely long waits are sadly the norm on Hollywood Beach (Broadwalk), but this experience was probably one of the worst we have had.

Friendly service. Great view. Cheap prices. I had the jumbo dog and it was perfect. What else could you want?

  • Tatyana W.

Awful - the best thing about the place is music. Food is blah. It takes forever to get served. Then you don't even get a written check. The waiter just tells you the amount by doing some addition on a calculator - nothing in writing. And when he saw me pull out a credit card, he just took off.

  • Stephanie B.

Went here on 4th of July, and I have to say Im not impressed. I realize it's a small kitchen and I give them credit for that but for what they were charging for a meal the portion size was very small. I got the Phillycheese steak sandwich and I would say it was a 4inch sub that was mostly bread and they charge $10 for that. It also took 2hours for it to arrive at the table from the time we ordered. The service was ok but then the waiter messed up our check and wasn't listening to us on how we wanted it split up. I have had better on the beach, I guess I should just stick to my usual spots next time

  • K D.

Horrible service. Portion sizes are truly laughable. Advertised fish and chips special is LITERALLY a 4 ounce portion. VERY TINY! Avoid at all costs!

  • Bob D.

Looked good from the boardwalk. Food was poor quality for the price. Only 2 servers for 20 tables. Our server did his best, but he was frazzled and kept getting things wrong. Took an hour to get our food, we would not come back.

Stopped here as I was walking down the Hollywood boardwalk. Looked like a nice open patio area with a good view to the ocean. I had the broiled shrimp and scallops appetizer and a beer. They were good, but not great. Wait staff was nice, but not overly friendly.

    (3)
  • Donovan G.

Service was pretty bad. It wasnt until the end of breakfast tnat a waitress explained any. She said, I dont know what their problem is. No one wants to take this table. I like this color...pointing at my nephew whose black. My table consisted of myself and my nephew whk are black and my white partner. Found this pretty interesting. Will not be going back here.

  • Jason K.

My wife and I were walking on the boardwalk hearing nothing but French because this is a favorite of Quebec Canadians. I got a pitcher of beer and a mahi sandwich which was pretty awesome. My wife got the shrimp salad and was very disappointed with the amount of shrimp and the size of the shrimp. It was like 8 cocktail shrimp on her salad, pretty weak for the price. The view was amazing though since we were right on the boardwalk. It was cool hearing all the old French Canadians talk though. The whole pitcher of beer was a major plus though and made walking the boardwalk smooth. The service was great though and if we were to go there again, we would order the large pitcher of beer and a huge pizza for 13 bucks.

    Bad service, bad food, overpriced.

  • Iscah R.

Oh Mylanta!! This was pretty bad, unless you like the wide, flat cheap non-namebrand burger patties from your local grocery store- you know the ones they sell in a box in the frozen food section? Yeah. No. I had the cheeseburger & fries; the fries were ok, they were just your traditional steak fries. That was the not so horrible part of the meal. I also had a strawberry margarita--- or should I say a strawberry slushee served in a high ball beverage glass with a too short straw...Have you ever tried to fish a standard size straw out of a long glass? Not fun. My friend had the souvlaki. This was just unseasoned chunks of Pork slapped on a grill (or perhaps grill marks drawn on) stabbed with a stick, served with uncle bens rice and previously frozen cut vegetables I think they buy the vegs from Costco- I buy there too. We also got a calamari basket which wasn't so horrible. Overall I understand that you might pay premium price when your dining beachside so I can understand inflated prices for such restaurants- But to charge us $56.00 for REALLY nasty burger patties, previously frozen vegetables, tasteless pork, uncle bens rice, and a strawberry margarita I was only able to slurp out of the glass. The service wasn't so great either. The waitress was just short of unattentive- it was like she was just serving us because it was her job. I know that that is the case- but it was like she didn't even care about a tip or anything. Please avoid this sad, sad excuse for a restaurant at all costs!

On a morning bike ride decided to stop for the 2.50 breakfast. Did not include coffee. Sitting on the boardwalk with an ocean view, 5 star. Service, 4 star. Food, 2 star at best.

    (2)
  • Michelle N.

Walk by. The food is awful, really bad. And expensive. The only redeeming quality is that it is along the beach.

    (1)
  • Christina P.

Don't bother; expensive for cheap food, probably the worst place to eat on the boardwalk. I had to pour my own alcohol into my drink!

    (1)
  • Justin F.

Don't eat here! Horrible service. Tiny portions. Ordered grilled cheese for my toddler (from kids menu)... Waitress came back 40 minutes later with a Grilled cheese and scallion sandwich (every kids favorite) which was not cut in half but, rather, torn in half by the cook. Asked a waiter to take the sandwich back and was told its "not his problem."

    (1)
  • Shannon P.

La "Bro-SHITterie" This place is a joke. It belongs on Ktichen Nightmares. How dare they try to charge me 45$ for Uncle Bens with Frozen Generic Veggies along with one flavorless dry piece of shit chicken kabob that was made on a G. F. Grill! This place needs to get their act together. OH the waitresses cant add either. Save yourself the frustration...when on the Broadwalk dont even look at it

Worst place in Hollywood. Better off eating the bird dropping off the side walk. Ordered Breakfast, serverd something that looked like they scopped out of the grease trap from under the sink. Brought my toast out when I was finished eating my over done over easy eggs and my potatoes from Jiffy Lube. They had a bussboy who looked like he slept on the beach in his clothes for over a month. The waiter said he was sorry for the late toast order, big deal. Hope he reads his and hope he was one of the owners, as we thought he was. You need to learn how to operate a bussiness properly. If you cannot make over easy eggs and get them to the table with the toast, your incapable of running a pay urnial at a beer fest.

    (1)
  • Michael W.

Ordered the mahi-mahi and fries and thought I was getting a decent deal until I saw the meager 4 bites of fish. You are better off getting the burger which my friend says was alright.

This place should be closed down from the health department. Its the most disgusting Restaurant on the boardwalk. We walked out and we watched many others do the same. The waiter was covered in sweat that was dripping all over, they had no business letting him serve tables. We watched him wipe sweat from his face with his hands several times and then grab plates of food without even washing. He set a bottle of syrup for the guest sitting beside us that have hair stuck to it. We waited for 22 minutes, told 2 servers we had not been waited on and still no one came. After the syrup thing, we left. I've been a chef a long time and never called the health department on anyone but tomorrow morning I am. Places like this get away with it because they're tourist areas. This is how people get sick. Very irresponsible and unprofessional!

    (1)
  • Shane S.

Nice they advertise a deal for breakfast, then add service fees with tiny print on the menu. Oh wait, that's not nice at all. A tourist trap in the worst sense, plenty of other options on the broad walk.

    (1)
  • Karen C.

horrible food and horrible service. was told that the dinner was the same price as the lunch special ($9.95). I was charged $22.45 for frozen birds eye stir fry vegetables, fries and god knows if it was blackened grouper. be warned if your hungry and want an affordable meal!

    (1)
  • i w.

Probably the worst breakfast I ever had. How can you mess up breakfast? Somehow they sucked the taste out of everything. Even the coffee was bad. Keep walking.

    (1)
  • Ross D.

Creepy. Sketchy. Weird. Overpriced. That sums up this dump of a place on the nice boardwalk. The wait staff all looked like they had just walked out of a halfway house/drug rehab place. Our waiter's teeth were a disaster and he kept going off for smoke breaks and coming back smelling of smoke. $11 for a crap bloody mary or mimosa and 18 percent gratuity for ANY size party. Food was very average at best. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Only survives because of unsuspecting tourists who come in for the cheap specials but end up with a bill for $60. Forgot the hair in the biscuits and gravy.

    (1)
  • Kat V.

I would give it no stars if I could. Service horrible! Wait was long for mediocre food. Our waitress didn't speak English or know the menu. Overpriced, dirty- I think roaches avoid this place. The owner was yelling at the staff. Please don't go there....go next door to Little Venice!

    (1)
  • Blake C.

Review is based on us stopping in for drinks. The guy was really nice to us for getting us to go cups for our drinks so we could walk around. But their prices, horrible. 2 stellas and 2 coronas for $32! WOW! Go to the little general store a few steps away and get a 20 oz beer for $3.95 and put that in a cup. This place was empty, and with all these reviews, no wonder.

    (2)
  • Emrah A.

I would write zero stars If possible. Horrible good and happy hour scam. Buy one get one free but beer are 7.95 each. Service charge also forced on customers . Avoid....avoid...avoid...sever was fine but the business is a joke.

    (1)
  • Rhonda R.

Large pie for 6.95!!!! Cheapest pie on this boardwalk and its tastes good! We come here often ....cant go wrong with the price. They also have gyro specials....8.95 for a gyro and fries. I had the gyro last visit...very good. Friendly staff and we enjoy coming here.

  • Anthony J.

I normally don't write reviews but this place left me with an experience that deserves attention. What captured our attention was a sign for a pizza for $6.95. Ok it's cheap, but all we really wanted was something for a party of 3 to snack on. We were not seated, greeted or given any menus. We literally watched 2 servers discuss who's going to pick up our table. 10 minutes go by and still no menu, no drinks/water, nothing. By now we are ready to get up and walk to another pizza place. Finally one of the servers looked at us and asked if anyone helped us. She was nice enough to give us a menu and walk away. Didn't get the chance to at least ask for waters. Somebody else from the kitchen quickly came out to us and asked what we wanted. No introductions ! Took our order for waters and a pizza. Not that challenging ! Our waters came out quick, but the cheese pizza took close to 1/2 an hour. Mind you the restaurant is about 40% occupied. The pizza was actually not bad. Getting our check was a mission. Nobody came to check on us unless you wave them down. Just an awful experience for an establishment along Hollywoods Boardwalk. 1 star is too much credit for this experience.

    (1)
  • Cindy H.

The food was really good! Very flavorful. I ordered the spinach and feta omelette which also came with hash browns and toast. The service was good. Our food was served quickly and it was nice and hot. Atmosphere was nice. No thumping music. You could actually carry on a conversation without raising your voice. Plenty of people watching while having a nice meal. The entertainment was free. ;)

    (5)
  • John M.

ZERO Stars!!! I sure wish I had read these reviews first. By far the worst meal out in years. Maybe the all time worst. I got the king crab legs. How do you mess up king crab? They were terrible. They came with a mixed vegetable side that had broccoli stem chunks (you know those frozen things). My wife had the awful seafood pasta. Terrible Terrible food! I felt bad for the people walking in and for our server(Joy). She did great, but I'll bet she is embarrassed to serve that junk.

    (1)
  • Kristin C.

The portions were small although that isn't necessarily a bad thing with most restaurant portions serving 2-3 people (in my opinion). I had the blueberry crepes, and they were nice. The service was good. But mainly, you are just paying to eat on the beach. And there really are not that many good choices for breakfast on the beach in Hollywood...so then we might be back!

    (2)
  • Mike T.

French food by the beach. Good food at a very reasonable price. The French food is authentic. We ordered escargots and poutine (melted cheese and fried) as appetizers and the catch of the day (two orders of grouper). Portions are not huge so don't go in expecting to have enough for another meal - but that said the amount was just right. Server was nice and very attentive and spoke both French and English so we got to practice our French a bit which is a bonus. Much better than some of the Italian places by the beach - some were ugh!

    (4)
  • Kari C.

Great food! We ordered two margaritas and they tasted too sweet (maybe made from mix?) Sent them back for chardonnay. Ordered escargot and shared a fajita with grouper and it was amazing. Lots of flavor with a little spice. Our server Troy was very kind, passionate about his job and the restaurant. Will come back!

    (4)
  • Michael B.

The food was priced good for lunch and the service was fine but $6 a bud light its just unamerican in a restaurant with plastic chairs.

    (3)
  • Linda b.

Don't bother to stop, keep walking when you go by this place. It is a typical Broadwalk bad food restaurant. I won't even wast my time writing about it.

    (1)
  • Sammy D.

Just had breakfast there this morning....4 of us. Ordered eggs ....took a while which i could understand. Coffee took almost as long......couldnt understand that. Had to ask several times for a refill......it was as if they were rationing coffee. Staff was not friendly. Suggest to move on to the next place.

  • Bryna M.

My boyfriend and I went here to grab a quick lunch today. We were seated right away & asked what we wanted to drink. No introduction from the waiter. We got a water & strawberry daiquiri. The daiquiri tasted old & wasn't worth $11. As we were waiting for our food, the owner was arguing with one of his employees right behind us. He told him to go home if he couldn't do his job. So unprofessional!! Another table of 6 came in & sat next to us. 2 of the waiters were arguing in front of the table about who was going to take it. The bacon cheeseburger tasted like it was from Burger King. Go somewhere else! There are so many other good restaurants on the broadwalk!!

    (1)
  • Debbie M.

Wow. I just paid $12.95 for a microwaved lean cuisine veggie lasagna that was permanently cemented to the plate. We were wandering on the broadwalk and didn't check yelp before we stopped to eat. Bad mistake. Don't eat here. I usually take home half of my meal because I'm too full but after this one we will have to go somewhere else to get a main course after my $12.95 lean cuisine appetizer. The view of the beach is beautiful and its very easy to get a table out in front because everybody else knows not to eat here.

    (1)
  • Alan R.

Best breakfast in town. Biscuits are amazing. We ate breakfast here every day we were in Hollywood Beach. And the service was fantastic.

    (5)
  • Bob S.

Yikes! Extremely slow service and fish came out raw. Very disappointing. This is a place even Gordon Ramsey could not save. After such a bad experience I just wanted to get out of there but now that I think back I feel like I was ripped off. Both my wife and I ended up with the gyro special (after getting raw mahi). Each special was $7.95. I got a can of almost expired pop and my wife got water. Our check was $25 and change. Do the math and you'll see my point. Don't bother coming here. If you do steer clear of the bald waiter. Btw... I was forced to give this place at least 1 star.

    (1)
  • Katie W.

Beautiful views but rude, rude, RUDE, service! My husband and I stopped in with the intention of having drinks and lunch. We saw they had a 2/1 special so we ordered a piña colada and a beer. You HAVE to get both drinks at once so by the time you get around to drinking the second one it is warm. When our drinks came out there was lettuce stuck to my glass so I told the waitress and she said she didn't think it was lettuce and "it was fine" I had to ask twice for a new one. So save your time and just go elsewhere!

    (1)
  • Jack G.

    This place is terrible.

    (1)
  • Mandy M.

Let me first begin by saying this is a hilarious attempt at a restaurant. The owners pregnant daughter spent half our meal cursing at other workers in front of all the customers. After such complete unprofessionalism, I went to let the "manager" know(wife of owner). She proceeded to blankly stare at me like a moronic boar and said absolutely nothing. I'd highly recommend never going here. The food is mediocre and management is a joke. I feel sorry for anyone who has to encounter these rachet excuses for restaurant owners. Not only do they look disgusting, but their personalities and disregard for the customer experience is even more repulsive than the food. They probably wouldn't even understand half the words I just used. Don't go here.

    (1)
  • JJ C.

The best part of our breakfast was the toast I guess it's hard to ruin that. Ordered the chefs special pancakes taste rubbery, hashbrowns taste freezer burned warmed up in a microwave maybe? Left most of the breakfast on the plate going to go to another restaurant and pay good money to be a good breakfast. Cheap price brought us and we learned our lesson. Service was friendly

    (1)
  • Kevin H.

Bad on so many levels. Service is awful. The food is kind of edible but not really. Unbelievably overpriced. It's gets one star for the view.

    (1)
  • Leonard I.

What do you do when your hungry you go into the nearest place you can find and it usually is not the best choice. My cousins and I decided to go in here since they have gyros we asked if they had the gyros where it's sliced freshly and the lady said yeah. So we were ok lets do it we sat down and the lady from the get go became rude when we asked to split the checks. I don't really see a big deal about this anyways we ordered the gyros and when it came out turns out it was the frozen kind. Barely any fries with it my cousins water had dirty things in there. It was a bad experience and bad customer service just keep walking and attend the other restaurants ahead

  • Leonard L.

Absolutely the worst meal in Florida in three years I've lived here. What's French about it? Nothing! I ordered their $9 Bloody Mary and got a watery mess of tomato juice and vodka. Absolutely no flavor or kick. The food was worse. My wife ordered strawberry crepes. The crepes came out with FROZEN strawberries. All gray and disgusting. Don't even slow down.....how is this place still open?

    (1)
  • Melissa O.

Terrible service. Got a pizza for my four year old. I made him he a quarter of it. After he pleaded to me he didn't want it, I tried if for myself. Disgusting. The server told me they will charge me for it and she is just an employee. Gyro was decent. Only putting a star because I have to. Try little venice next door instead.

Beautiful view of the ocean and was right on the boardwalk, but the service slow and distracted. The food was also sub-par. I ordered a BLT, figuring it would be hard to mess that up, and I got what looked to be a "make your own sandwich" kit. First time I've ordered a sandwich at a restaurant and had to put it together myself. I'm sure there's much better places than this on the boardwalk.

    (2)
  • D D.

Our waitress was the sweetest thing. She actually waved hello to us as we walked in before she even knew we were sitting at her table. The chicken platter I ordered was ok, nothing spectacular. The chicken was dry but pairing it with their yogurt sauce type thing made a world of difference. The rice just seemed parboiled. The salad comes on your plate, not in a separate bowl. I was told the gyro platter was very good. The amount of food leaves a lot to be desired. I was confused because I thought the place was french but the menu seemed Greek and Italian. Great views and again, our waitress made it a better experience.

    (3)
  • Steve B.

Worst pizza ever, sorry...didn't taste good at all. But for eight bucks, what can you imagine? But honestly...save your money and go somewhere else!!

ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH for this dump. BE WARNED: The owner (a Russian woman) refused to honor their Happy Hour posted on the sign from 2-6 p.m. We arrived at 2:20 p.m. and ordered 2 glasses of wine. The lunch specials were several types of fish and a salad - I ordered Grouper, but I got TILAPIA. I DO know the difference and I couldn't eat it. Also the portions are MINISCULE. So, ordered the 2nd glass of wine, then later the bill - and it came with BOTH GLASSES charged. Talked to the waitress, she rolled her eyes and said "You have no idea how many customers we lose because of this". So I tried to talk to the owner and she said, "DID YOU SEE ME PUT THE SIGN OUT AFTER YOU GOT HERE? You arrived at 2:20. I put the sign out at 2:21. You pay full price." I didn't have time to call the police, or I would have fought it, so instead we deducted the amount of the 2nd glass of wine, and left the exact amount in cash. We gave the waitress a $10 sympathy tip and got up and walked away. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE on Hollywood Beach.

  • Matthew K.

great view, very nice staff, horrible food. my mom was considering having a pizza but a nice couple next to us quietly warned us against it so we just had an app of breaded mushrooms and they were frozen garbage fried and served with half a piece of romaine lettuce as a garnish. stopped there, paid the check, the waitress told me she wouldn't be able to make exact change, and left.

  • Dawn C.

Never-ever-ever-ever again. Even for the $3.90 breakfast. I've never had any food this bad. Anywhere. Ever. Yuck. I can't even tell you how my stomach STILL LURCHES at the thought. Rubbery/mealy disgusting everything . . . with the exception of the $2 orange slices I ordered ala carte. Don't even do it to yourself.

    (1)
  • Larissa G.

Food was clearly not fresh. From the chicken to the seafood, it was clearly frozen stuff like what you buy at Publix. We ordered food for 7 people and ALL SEVEN dishes were horrible. We sent two back because we just couldn't eat them. We waited for 45 minutes for even the first kids meal came out. It was chicken tenders with fries so this doesn't take that long. My shrimp alfredo was disgusting. The steak my brother bought was horrible. My mother's chicken wrap looked horrible too. I'm sorry, but this is honestly the WORST place I've ever been to. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this was just bad.

    (1)
  • Jim M.

We went here last weekend for breakfast. I found we got a great deal as the breakfast was extremely inexpensive. The food was decent and the service was good. It was no frills which is fine. The best part is you can't beat the view. If you're looking for fine dining this isn't your place, but if you want a quick, inexpensive meal on the beach. This is your place.

    (3)
  • Olga S.

This one time I decide to not read Yelp reviews (serves me right), I end up eating at the most disgusting/despicable place ever. Firstly, the food took 1 h and 35 minutes to cook. The dishes ordered were all seafood, which can be cooked in 30 minutes max. The place was empty. There was no reason for such a delay. Every dish was a defrosted, un-dead, un-fresh piece of disgusting crap. French fries were the cheap frozen kind, with ridges. Fish was smelly. Shrimp was smelly. Turns out the owner is in the car dealing business. Why would he open a restaurant? DO NOT EAT HERE unless you have a death wish.

    (1)
  • Ricardo R.

This place is horrible. Stay away. The breakfast special sign will pull you in but you should run in the opposite direction. Eat here at your own risk if you are okay with food poisoning.

  • Larry H.

Great spot on the Broadwalk. The grilled cheese, with its blend of cheeses and tomato, was fantastic. Cheapest pitcher of beer on the Broadwalk also. I'm a local, and will def be back.
